This property is a typical European hotel setup. It’s in a shared building with other tenants. Very clean, the staff was excellent, very caring. Checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious. I asked for a double bed and separate bed for my daughter, there was a separate room with a single bed and closet that was very spacious. I highly recommend this hotel and staff.

Great location , close to everything, view of the duomo. Beautiful historic building with unique details.
The reception staff, Teresa, went above and beyond . Letting us store luggage , giving us shopping and dining recs. We had to stay late as one of our party was ill. She offered to care for him while the rest of us enjoyed a last day. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was kind thoughtful and helpful…

Loved the location of this excellent little boutique hotel. Ideally placed for easy access to all the historic sights with lots of shops and restaurants around.
Lovely decor, very clean and exceptionally helpful staff - Thankyou to Fatima, Theresa and the lovely cleaning lady. Would highly recommend .

Not what was advertised.😞

The reviews on Hotels.com and the description of the hotel are a bit misleading. Check Google reviews for the full scope.

Pros: The hotel check-in and cleaning staff are very kind and go the extra mile to give you an overview of the city and make you feel welcome. The location is also very central and situated right by the Duomo. The room was clean and the view was cute.

Cons: When booking a honeymoon stay at a hotel with “Luxury Suites” in the name, you don’t really expect a tiny room with two twin beds put together to make a queen…really didn’t make for a romantic stay. While we had zero issues with the AC unit during our stay, there was an incredibly unpleasant sewage smell in the front entrance and stairwell leading up to the rooms. Also, if you are handicapped —the elevator doesn’t start for 3 flights of stairs up. All-in-all, I must say we were disappointed with the experience 😔

Beautiful spot in central Florence

Great location if you want to be right in the heart of Florence. Traditional property which is a great Florence experience however note you need to walk up a number of steps to reach the rooms. Staff very helpful and were in contact both before stay and helpful during stay.

Great - but not a bed and breakfast!

Very convenient location right next to the cathedral. Very clean and easy to find. Comfortable bed. Air conditioning.

There is an elevator to the floor after a short flight of stairs.

Had recommendations sent to us via WhatsApp which was great and very helpful!

I have two concerns - this place is advertised as a bed and breakfast - there is no breakfast. When we arrived we were indicated to the coffee nook and told ‘this is the breakfast’ (coffee packets and kettle) because ‘there is no dining room.’ For me this is a misrepresentation, I would remove the statement that this is a bed and breakfast. Furthermore, we were told to put the card on the door handle to indicate if we wanted our room tidied during our stay (3 night) - we did this and periodically went back to the room during the day and it was never cleaned! Eventually we asked and they said it would take 1.5 hours and eventually it was done around 3pm. I understand the new rooms need to be prioritised, but don’t tell us to hang the card for cleaning but then there is no guarantee it is done!

Overall; I enjoyed the stay and I would stay here again. But the breakfast part is a misrepresentation and don’t tel guests there is daily cleaning when there is no guarantee!

Thanks for the stay!

Paid around 600 euro for 3 nights for 2 people - no breakfast.

This is an incredible location for the Duomo (literally a 2 min walk) and shopping area - plus pretty clean! Just don’t expect a traditional hotel and some stairs to walk up. Staff are absolutely excellent, shout out to Fatima and Faisal for being so warm, welcoming and helpful.

Perfect location and the staff was amazing. inside the room was also excellent and it was one of the nicest bathrooms we’ve seen in Europe so far. Biggest issue we had was multiple nights we couldn’t sleep because of all the street noise. Windows could be much better to block some of the noise.

Property was in a PERFECT location - could not have asked for a better area. You will need to take quite a bit of stairs to get up to the property. There is an elevator accessible but will need to walk up about 30 steps to get there. The room was EXCEPTIONALLY clean and big. Family of 4 can be quite comfortable here. Staff was wonderful. It was a unique experience in that you do not have someone physically present onsite 24 hours, although they are available. We had a difficult time getting our room cold so if you like sleeping in temperatures above 78 degrees, you should be okay. I would stay here again if I were to go back in the Fall/Winter where I can sleep with the windows open. I believe I would have been a better experience had the room been colder (they gave me three fans, but it was still not enough).

Best Hotel in Florence!

Oh my gosh this hotel is incredible! I checked out of a dump that gave me terrible service and charged me more to check into this hotel and I could not get over how beautiful and clean and large the rooms are. It will now be the only place I stay when I come to Florence. And the woman that manages it is incredible. All of it was perfection!

Terrible Service and Hotel!

We had a very unpleasant time here. First we had no AC in the 2 nights that we stayed here WHEN THEY HAVE AC LISTED HERE (we informed one hour after check in and it was never fixed). The second day the worker told us a technician was going to come in and take a look, so he did apparently. She messaged later and said he cleaned it and now it was working better but when we came back it was only blowing warm air… it seems strange that someone can not recognize the difference between cold and hot air, but ok we came back to check and nothing was changed. After hours of sweating at night we decided to take a look at the filters ourselves and noticed it was very dirty, filled with dust and seemed like never was cleaned or the hotel just lied (photos Attached). Our second problem was when we checked our we noticed one of our bags was cracked… we told the manager and she basically said we had no way to prove to her that they did it… so we are lying? Horrible customer service to say the least… bad problem solving skills in this so called hotel… and to finish it she sent me a WhatsApp message that seemed very unprofessional and just very disappointing. We will pursue a full refund, this is not the service we expected in our honeymoon.

Pros: The room was beautiful and modern and location was ideal.
Cons: room was not ready and took a while for it to be ready after arrival and we could not relax and change upon arrival prior to our scheduled tour.
Also, air conditioning was extremely weak and I could barely sleep at night and same with my kids who were on a
Higher level so temperature got very hot.

The location was nice. Very close to the Duomo. BUT, the air conditioning did not work to cool the room at all. It was so hot in the room that it nearly ruined our visit to Florence. All we remember is being miserably hot. Do not stay at the hotel during hot weather. It might be very nice in cool weather.

This was an amazing B&B, nicely decorated and extremely convenient in the center of Florence. We were steps from the Duomo, shops, ristorantes, and gelaterias! I would go back quickly if possible!

We stayed three nights, our first night we were in a room that only had one stained glass window but it had no internal or external coverings or shutters and didn't seal properly. This meant the room was full of light and a huge amount of noise overnight. Management were very accommodating in moving us to another room for the rest of the stay which was much better. Unfortunately, each morning the bathroom would smell badly of sewage. After looking at the other reviews this seems to be a common problem. We also had issues with the chip in the card for the electricity one night. The guest house is very well located - the Cathedral is just around the corner, it is also clean and pretty. Just be aware there are some issues and because of the great location there is a fair amount of noise.

Great location!

Location was excellent! Room was big and beautiful. But do take note that reception is only open between 10am and 3pm. We arrived by bus and we were late (from our promised time of arrival in the evening) due to road condition. It became quite stressful as the reception was asking every now and then how far were we from the hotel as she was waiting for us. 3 flights of stairs to take (including your luggages) before reaching an old gated elevator to reach the hotel.
Towels were not changed during room cleaning.
Toilet in room is located on mezzanine floor which we didnt really like (too much hassle to climb up and down!) No room slippers so we didnt know if we should be wearing shoes around the room or was the floor clean enough to walk barefooted.

Nevertheless, the location of the hotel is superb. Sarah was helpful sharing information on what's around in the town.

The location was great, but besides that I can not say much. The staff were not very helpful and did not want to go out of their way to make your stay good. There is only staff there from 10-3 so if you have any questions outside of that you are out of luck. We tried to leave our bags there when we were going around Florence and they said that they could not do that and did not even offer any suggestions to help. I went to a hotel down the road to see if they could help and they helped more than even the hotel I stayed in. If I come back to Florence I would not stay here again.

Great little place!

It was a bit difficult figuring out where they were, but once we did, we were pleasantly surprised. You had to walk up a couple flights of steps before you got to the lift to take you up the rest of the way, and the first time you were there, you had to walk all the way up. It’s a great way to exercise! Great location, very private. It’s more of an apartment than it is a hotel room (with the exception of a kitchenette, which wasn’t needed). The WiFi was great, and there was a complimentary bottle of Chianti that was a nice touch. The only slightly negative I can think of was that the mattress was a bit hard, but that was negligible compared to everything else. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Busy location, comfortable room

This hotel was very centrally located, literally steps from the Duomo. It’s was difficult to find because it was in a center street and somewhat unmarked. The hotel is more of a series of rooms on a floor. Our stay was comfortable and the room was nice however it is on a busy street. Saturday night was very noisy and there was also a putrid smell in the bathroom. Otherwise the stay was fine, no frills.

This place exceeded all expectations!
A must stay for a short stay or for a month, this place is your home away from home. Open up your window and overlook the Duomo. Wake up to the sounds of the bells ringing out to start your day. Shopping is right outside your door and it is designer driven with enough eateries around so loosen your belts.From checking in with Sara to check out with Fracois the staff is first class. Book this place, it will not dissapoint!

Walking distance from main attractions and train station. The room was nice and clean, the owner gave us a bottle of wine for our first nigth. This Little hotel is located on a second floor of an antique building, is much better the inside. I really recomed this place.

Hidden Gem

This is a great little hotel. Although it is very close to a lot of the action, this hotel is somewhat hidden. There isn't a huge sign, and the hotel is located up on the second floor of a shared stairwell. The reception has limited hours so make sure you arrive when someone is working. Once you enter, you will be pleasantly surprised with what you find. The rooms are large and spacious, very clean, and beautifully decorated. The washroom is also quite large with a double wide shower which is very rare to find. The hotel is located in a mainly pedestrian area, so there are many shops and restaurants nearby. Great location for a trip to Florence.

Had a great time at this hotel! It was located in a central location that was close to all the great sites. We were able to walk everywhere in Florence, and it was nice being able to walk back to the hotel for a quick rest after walking around in the morning. The hotel was also very clean and spacious.

Nice room great location disappointing amenities

The location can't get any better and the room was lovely with an awesome view but when you arrive at the hotel, first the lobby of the building smells like a sewer than you have to climb 3 sets of stairs to get to the elevator. This is a real problem with luggage as there is no one there to help you. I was exhausted and sweaty by the time I reached the lobby. Once you are in the guest house it is very pleasant. The other problem we encountered was that our shower didn't drain at all and the bathroom quickly flooded with water. We told them about this problem the following morning as there is no one there in the afternoon and much to our dismay when we returned to our room that afternoon the problem persisted and was never remedied so we could hardly take a decent bath. Had to be extra fast so the bathroom wouldn't flood and even so the last morning the water almost reached the room. So because of these unpleasant situations I would not recommend this hotel. I am pretty sure this is not a new problem and it just hasn't been dealt with. The wood flooring outside the bathroom is elevated evidently from the overflow of water.

Wow con este hotel! Esta a tan solo una cuadra del Duomo y cerca de todas las atracciones turísticas. El trato de Teresa y Fatima super amable y atento, siempre estan al pendiende. La habitación es bellisima, decorada muy elegante y muy amplia. Sin duda lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Un posto meraviglioso, per una città altrettanto meravigliosa.
siamo stati trattati benissimo dal personale, sopratutto dalla ragazza che ci ha accolti con molta simpatia e con una gentilezza unica (ci ha fatto addirittura trovare una bottiglia di vino in camera :) ).
il posto era molto bello e molto ben curato. stavamo cosi bene che sembrava di essere a casa.
Consigliato a chiunque voglia godersi firenze, al centro, ed avere tutto vicino e a portata di mano.
