Difficult to find the actual building and initially check in as there are no front door staff. The building it’s in looks very old and run down so bad first impression. The actual room is okay. Walls are thin and they echo so if anyone’s in the hallway you can hear them clearly.

We have returned from a two night stay here. This was advertised as a hotel, but upon booking I found out there is a virtual reception. Upon checking in, I found out there is no room service unless you stay over 7 days.
The location was great, but we didn’t enjoy the stay as much. Every time I had a question or needed something, it meant communicating with a bit first via WhatsApp, then you wait to connect to an agent which took 5-6mins each time and then you verify your booking details before they would answer your query. In more than one occasion, I managed to find an answer or ask a guest for help in the time it took to get an answer from the agent.
This was the last out of six hotels that I stayed during our trip to Italy and the only that I won’t be returning to.

It was fine. It’s basically an apartment and you do not get any of the amenities of a hotel. It was in a good location. It was relatively clean however there were possessions from other people that were not removed from our room. Also the water for the shower was often cold. Also the toilet had two setting but only the big one worked.

Great location! I agree that the room doesn’t need daily cleaning or towel changes, but I hope visitors can drop off the trash somewhere in the hall everyday. There were many tiny bugs that flew around the trash can and also bit me! That wasn’t pleasant.

The only redeeming value is the location of you are not sensitive to noise, I am not. You will literally step into the street and be almost in front of the cathedral. Everything else is non existence. No help to plan for early check in or luggage. The ai customer service chat only states it’s too early to give you an answer. If you have very early tours there is nobody to assist with taxis if needed. If you want clean towels being the summer and you are showering more than once there is no help. The breakfast do not include it. For 18 euros per person you will find much better options in less than a block or two. Also they start breakfast at 8am, so if you have an earlier start time you will not have access to it. Good luck asking for a refund. Finally if you want a strong ac this is not for you.

We arrived around midnight with a small child and had to wait nearly an hour to check in. The process was extremely disorganized and stressful — especially after a long journey with a kid.To our surprise, the room given to us was designed for people with disabilities. My son couldn’t use the bathroom properly because of the low toilet height and lack of basic comfort for children. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the bedsheets were visibly dirty with stains. When I contacted the hotel via WhatsApp and sent them photos, they simply told me to go find clean sheets myself from the storage area and change them, absolutely unacceptable service. I felt unsafe and extremely uncomfortable. I couldn’t sleep at all that night. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I will definitely be filing a complaint with Expedia.

My check in didn't start off so great because I did not get the necessary email to do the digital check-in ahead of time. But the lady at the 'reception' helped sort it out for me. The room was clean and very spacious. It was a little noisy, given its location, but they provided headphones and it didn't really bother me that much, so it wasn't a big deal for me. The location is excellent. It's walkable to many of the main attractions and the train station is a short walk or taxi away. There is a public taxi stand nearby. Otherwise, you have to schedule one with the florence taxi app. Uber does not work here.

If you can get by a draggy door to the restroom, this was a great stay & very roomy accommodation. The Duomo was our view out the window and all the activity of Firenze. So close to Uffizi and the many temptations of this fabulous city.

This was very close and I mean close to everything! The room was cozy but do modern and nice that I can’t say enough good things. They have lockers so you can sort of early checkin and start sightseeing right away. Everything is high tech but in the good easy to understand way. Enjoy as this is the bomb.

Fantastic location as so close to everything but the downside of that is that rooms on the front are loud even with the windows closed , you can hear music from the bar downstairs and the traffic on the street, earplugs to sleep are kindly provided but they are needed ! Lovely room and little touches appreciated in the fridge.

Excellent experience and neat concept executed fantastically. Everything was self managed and digital with life support that responds quickly and efficiently. Especially appreciate the traveler friendly aspect of the hotel, eg hold luggage lockers, small amenities snacks and water etc. location is another great point, it’s very centrally located - literally across the duomo and in the middle of all the walkable tourist areas.

The location of the property is excellent. Bathroom is very new and shower is great. Only mentioning is due to lack of front desk receptionist, we are stressed with getting a taxi to airport to catch a very early morning flight. We were only sent a link to order taxi on the last day before check out and the link didn't work for us. Would be nice to have a real person service to ensure a taxi is being reserved under this circumstance. We end up walking and hauling luggage to nearby train station's taxi station and was luck to catch a taxi during walking.

Decent stay in excellent location of Florence

Ive stayed with Numa before in Berlin a couple times and enjoyed my stay there. This Florence room was pretty average in comparison. Not much in the way of decor, only one small bottle of dri king water, not really a suite as there was no lounge area. Just a bathroom sized kitchenette. Was supposed to have pullout sofa but only had two fold out chairs to sleep on separately. confortable mattress on them though. Linens and pillows and comfortors were we excellent. Toiletries were not. Checkin support was excellent. Original directions were not. Restaurant was very good! Its on a large terrace with views and has a fantastically prepared menu. But as th we restaurant is not part of the listing they dont get credit for that .

This property is in the heart of Florence and a perfect place to explore the city on foot. I didn’t even worry when I needed rest in my room as the views from my room were stunning and I could see the Duomo. Leaving the window open felt like being in the city still. The amenities were great and shower good. The walls are thin as in many old places so courtesy is all that is needed. The Terrazza is excellent for breakfast and dinner!

Very nice facility, check-in was smooth. Location is a block from the Duomo, so be forewarned that bells start to toll at 7 a.m. every morning. Also, a few times it was loud late at night when people headed to wherever they were staying made more noise than they should have. Only suggestion for the room would be to make more USB outlets available. There are lamps and such with built-in outlets, which we've been able to use in other places we stayed in other cities. We should have planned ahead by bringing more European adapters, but that would have been a nice touch.

The property was very well located next to Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, however the directions sent by the hotel on WhatsApp to find it were a bit misleading since they mentioned a different store name that was next to it.

The room was very spacious and very clean with all necessary amenities and it also had a few freebies in the fridge for the guests to enjoy like prosecco and beer.

There's no reception so you have to do check-in online so that you receive a pin code to access the hotel and your room - I had some technical difficulties with it but although it wasn't resolved someone from their WhatsApp support help me to look into it and find another way to do check-in (however their IT team needs to look into it asap as I'm sure more guests will have same issue in the future). Also, check-in time is not until 3pm and if you require an early check-in time you won't know until the actual day of your stay.

The Wi-Fi connection was very poor and devices will disconnect constantly from it.

The rooms are in a very noisy area

The room was clean and the decoration looks great but what we didn't know is that around the corner there are 2 pubs im the duomo square with music and people partying around until very late at night, the room is in the first floor so basically it feels like we were sleeping in the street. We luckily brought earplugs but still could hear the people shouting until late at night. Around 7 am the duomo's church sounds the bells so we woke up again. Next time I will book a hotel in a quieter area

Wonderful location right next to Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral, perfect for a late night gelato if you want to sit in front of it with a view to the duomo. It's also within walking distance from all the main attractions in Firenze. Breakfast was good. Bed was comfortable, if a little small.
However, the room had a strong smell due to the way it was scented and it was rather unpleasant. I had to move the scented sticks to a different area as I couldn't bear the smell. Bathroom was fine, however there was also an unpleasant smell that came from the sink when the water ran for too long.

A gem of a hotel perfectly located

What a gem of a hotel! The staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. I booked my stay last minute due to checking into a prior hotel that was not exactly safe, clean, or centrally located. I dropped off my luggage in the early morning on the day of my check-in on my way to a cooking class. The front desk was warm and receptive. When I returned later in the day I was once again greeted with warmth and hospitality-they even put my stored bags in the room before I checked in! My room was an oasis of comfort and provided excellent siesta during the midday heat. Breakfast has a great selection and the coffee is delicious. I loved sitting outside on the patio sipping my coffee and enjoying the sights and sounds of the Duomo. I return often to Florence with friends and family and would without a doubt recommend this hotel for any type of traveler.

My wife and I just spent two weeks traveling through Switzerland, France, and Italy and this was our favorite hotel. The room was incredibly large, which a soft bed and nice bathroom. The hotel had air-conditioning which was very nice, and the curtains could be black-out curtains, which made sleeping in easy. Location was great as well. The Duomo is literally feet outside the front door, and you can walk to Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi in about 5-10 minutes. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the train station and it is easy to get a cab to the airport as well. We could not have been more happy with the stay, and will definitely be staying here again.

Contemporary style in a central location

The hotel is in a very central location and only a 10 minute walk from the train station. It is a small hotel with reception/terrace and breakfast room on the first floor and bedrooms on the third floor. There is a small lift. The decor is contemporary and each room is furnished differently. The heating was adequate (just) and the usual room facilities are provided. TV didn't seem to have BBC World News though. Breakfast was good given the small number of rooms. The bed was very comfortable but outside noise at night was prolonged on one night. The church bells ringing at 7am were delightful!

This property was very pleasing. The location was my favorite part of the hotel, but enjoyed it all. Our room was cozy but nice and clean. As an American, am not a huge fan of the bidet and in our room the toilet was very cramped due to this. Our room overlooked the Via de' Calzaiuoli and we could see the Campanile quite clearly. The outdoor veranda area was really nice and cozy.

The location and the staff were excellent. However, the room we were in was terrible. We had the “suite” (room 301) right next to the entry. At 1:30 am, we were awakened by loud talking as people entered. At 3:30, we were awakened by someone with about 10 bags going in and out—didn’t get back to sleep until 5 am. Then at 7-ish, people started going in and out for breakfast. Worst night sleep in a hotel that I can remember. The set-up of the hotel is not conducive to peaceful slumber, unfortunately. There are many other options in Florence.

Great hotel in a perfect location

The hotel is located literally steps from the Duomo, my room even had a view of the bell tower. It's perfectly located to all the main sights, less than a 10 minute walk to either Galleria dell'Academia, Uffizi gallery, Central Market and the train station. The staff are super friendly and try to ensure your stay is perfect. Rooms were modern and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this place just on the location and price alone.

Cute hotel in a fantastic location.

Very nice boutique style hotel with really helpful staff. The hotel is in an old building that they refurbished and updated. The decor is a blend of the old with a “shabby chic”. Everything was clean, the bathroom was brand new and lovely. We did have the suite (room 301) so it was spacious and very comfortable. The entrance to our hallway was keyed as well as our room so we felt secure here. From our windows (looking out to left) we could see the front of the Duomo. The breakfast was basic but the food items were fresh and good quality. There is a shared coffee and tea station on the floor in the hall. Reception ordered us a taxi and they picked us up right out front.
I can’t speak to the spaciousness of the other rooms but we would stay here again in the suite.

In the shadow of the Duomo

Just steps away from the Duomo on Florence' most important street, you cannot find a location closer to the action. Only problem - you are close to the action. Streets crowded with tourists during the day are busy with construction, sanitation maintenance, and 4:00am revelers outside your window through the night. Church bells make for a pretty effective wake up call at 7:00am each day.

However, the staff is most helpful, breakfast varied and fresh, and the location is prime. If you are an urban dweller, this might be home away from home.

Couldn't have asked for better accommodation for my first visit to Florence. Located right around the corner from the Duomo you're walking distance from everything you'd need to see, and it was so lovely being woken up by the muffled sounds of the bell tower as a reminder of being right in the heart of Florence. Despite being central it was quiet and peaceful. For the hotel itself, I was in one of the single rooms and while some hotels can cramp you in as a solo traveler the room was a great size. The staff were really lovely, friendly and helpful. And the breakfast included in the price was amazing (I usually skip hotel breakfasts as they're so dire, but this place was like being in a local restaurant with fresh coffee, freshly boiled eggs, lots of sweet treats). I'd stay here again without hesitation if I was returning to wonderful Florence

Great hotel in the heart of Florence

Great location in the center of Florence, right next to the Duomo. When you are eating breakfast on the terrace (also very good), the church bells are amazing. A little tricky getting to by car, be sure to get specific instructions from the hotel (you must turn down a pedestrian only street). Our family (four couples, four rooms) loved it and we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed very briefly at the Rodo Hotel Fashion Delight in Florence, Italy. The reception staff was very pleasant and helpful. I was allowed an early check in and suggests for gluten free restaurants. Location is great!- 2min. walk to the Duomo and not much more to museums and other delights. My room was modern, clean and spacious.

Amazing 65th Birthday stay at Rodo Hotel

Amazing! My 19 year old son took me to Europe for my 65th birthday. This hotel is in a historic building next to the Duomo. Tour guides stop out front to talk about the building. We occupied one of only two rooms located on the first floor by the reception desk. Side note, floors are numbered beginning with ground level at 0. We could look out our window and practically touch the church. We were in our room only at night but loved the constant hum of the crowds in the plaza and on the street below and the church bells ringing on the half hour (they stop at 11pm.) The room and bath were large, clean, and beautifully and simply decorated. The staff here shines. They were friendly and we were able to check in early. They gave us suggestions of what to see in our one day in their City. That evening we mentioned to Dario that we needed to checkout early in order to catch a 5:55am train. He expressed concern that at that hour we wouldn't be able to get breakfast for our train ride and suggested we come back after dinner and get breakfast to put in our mini refrigerator. We did. They had put together a bag of yogurts, muesli, cereal, biscotti, jars of honey, Nutella and jams, apple, plum - a wonderful treat for breakfast on the train. We would definitely come back to Firenze to stay here again. If you are bothered by little things like noise over which the hotel has no control, you should probably stay elsewhere. We found it exciting.

Excellent Service!

Wow!! I loved this place! The service from beginning to end was exceptional. Super friendly and very informative. I was assisted with a very last minute tour for the following day and I went with the hotels recommendation based on my interest. They found me the best option and it ended up being everything I wanted and more!
The room was very clean and had an awesome rustic charm to it. The location cannot be beat!
The breakfast was good and had a great selection.
Overall excellently stay. My only regret was that I wasn’t there longer! I will stay here again for sure!!

Great location, Nice design

Location is amazing. A bit loud at night but worth it! The room I had (geometric?) was small but comfortable. Smart design with some closet space behind the bed. Bathroom was fine. Breakfast was simple Italian but lovely, especially with the outside deck. I found the reception staff a bit unfriendly. The elevator is tiny and annoying and there are stairs you have to go up to get to reception and your room. It’s all very tight and there is little to no help from the staff if you have bags. That’s the only thing I would focus on.

This nicely appointed hotel is located right in Piazza Duomo. The room was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast offerings were wonderful. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend-you will not be disappointed!

The lady at the front desk was very rude to my daughter when checking in. She was traveling all through Europe after her summer abroad program. Then the key to the room broke in the lock, no big deal they usually fix these things, but they charged my daughter to fix it. Are you kidding me??? Over all my daughter loved Florence.

Loved my stay! The staffs were very friendly and helpful, and trust me, they have been tried. The room was very nicely decorated and the bed comfortable. The location right next to the Duomo is priceless! I actually think it's a 4 star hotel without the pool and gardens.. Am Shure to go back!

Only 3 years old, this hotel is just steps from Firenze's famous Duomo and is located in an older nondescript, pre30-40's building. There is a flat plaque at the entranceway and you walk into the old atrium of the building that includes one of those double-door elevators that can hold three riders. The common area just off the reception area is spacious and it opens to a large open terrace. What a great space and a wonderful treat! Each room has a decorative theme and no two rooms are the same. The en-suites are newly renovated and modern. A truly welcomed surprise!

Awesome Hotel - will definitely stay here again

This hotel was great. The location was amazingly good (less than a block from the Duomo and close to the train station. Breakfast was simpler than the other hotels we stayed in on our trip through Italy, but had the most delicious items. My favorite breakfast for sure.

The room itself was nice, clean, and definitely thoughtfully styled. The only complaint would be lack of surfaces to put things like suitcases or clothes. Some hooks on the wall would have gone a long way.

Next time I go to Florence, I'm definitely staying at this hotel.

Amazing location and friendly staff

Great location overlooking the duomo. Rooms are very clean and have modern bathrooms. Style of rooms is different (shabby chic in a nice way). Breakfast is continental only. Staff are very friendly. I would recommend.

Friendly, convenient and comfortable

This hotel experience was amazing. We felt very well cared for -- the management went above and beyond for us and it was a welcome experience.

The hotel is well designed and cute. The room was clean and comfortable. The mattress is a standard European (hard). However the breakfast was actually very good.

The location is WONDERFUL. Steps away from the Duomo and just a few blocks from most of what you want to see in Florence. Very convenient.
