The room was clean and tidy, warm throughout the night which was comfortable. The one thing that was annoying was there was an inch gap under the door which the hall light shone in under the door the whole night.

Where do I start,
The window had a gap so there was constant breeze coming in, Bare in mind it’s the middle of winter.
Then went to turn the radiator on and that didn’t work so it was Baltic in the room 24/7.
Then on my second day there was no cold water for around 3 hours so I couldn’t flush the toilet, have a shower you know all the basic things you get when you pay a few hundred quid!
Also no plug sockets next to the bed which isn’t a big problem but you would have thought there would be more than 2 that aren’t at the other side of the world.
There was also loads of like grime on the bath plug looked like algae or something so didn’t bother having a bath just stuck to showers to be safe.
Overall by far the poorest hotel I’ve stayed at and I’ve stayed in some dumps

The location is great and it’s very close to the local Metro station so you can get around the area easily. That said, this is a budget hotel so I was managing my expectations. The room was clean and tidy but it would be nice if they could clean the mould off the grout in the bathroom. I also got the impression that the hotel was a side hustle and that the Indian restaurant on the ground floor was their main priority - because what else can explain the fact that the corridors and stairways smelled strongly of curry? I booked this hotel because it was meant to be a quiet one (a fact implied by their refusal to accommodate hen and stag parties) but unfortunately there was a party in the bar on the Saturday evening and music was exceptionally loud and could be heard throughout the hotel, even in my room. When I spoke to reception staff (at the time and also the following morning) they said they knew nothing about the party and there was no manager available to talk to. I probably won’t be booking with them again.

It was an eye opener, when we got there. The room did not look like the room we had booked. They did not have the heat on and were providing everyone with heaters untill I spoke with the staff member in the evening and he did turn it on.

I booked a best western knowing there would be a restaurant not realising an Indian restaurant also the room was dirty and the radiator leaked into my bag which I was taking into hospital the following day so all my paperwork and clothes where wet nobody on reception when we left

Really tired inside, sink was grimy and shower was falling down. There is ‘liquid soap’ in the shower but no shampoo or conditioner etc. the staff were absolutely lovely. The room was grim to be honest, but if you want a cheap room to get your head down, it’s okay. Just remember your toiletries!

Only negative was disturbance from other occupants on my floor until 4am. Very little soundproofing and didn’t feel secure due to old ill fitting doors.

The main bonus is the restaurant attached to the hotel, which is one of the finest Indian restaurants I've ever eaten in! When we asked to book a table, we were told that it was full, but because we were residents, they prepared a table in the bar and served us there! Excellent service and excellent food!

The room cleanliness was ok. But the service was terrible. We booked the hotel to attend a graduation ceremony, but on the day of the graduation when we were about to get ready they said that they have to do a water line repair and cut off water completely. The plumbers were in the room even without our knowledge while we had gone out for a walk in the morning. I had to get ready due to time constraints while the plumbers were still in the room which was such an inconvenience. They left the washroom dirty after. Rooms aren’t soundproof so when the guests in the other rooms slam the door shut in the morning we woke up every time. At night when we were just talking in the room the front desk duty staff complained and annoyed us 4 times at night ruining our night saying we are loud and blamed us saying that we are smoking in the room even when we didn’t. Even we could hear other guests talking in their rooms. It’s advertised as they have room service but didn’t even have a phone to order room service, we had to climb all the way down ground floor to ask something. No lifts so had to carry really heavy luggages ourselves on the staircase. Overall bad experience, do not recommend.

We visited at the end of February The room on arrival at 15:00 was cold. We returned to the room the following day at 12:30 for a couple of hours and again there was no heating in the room so we had to sit in the bed with covers over us.

What a delightful hotel. Any hotel which includes a Corby trouser press in my room, and a ring finder folder with useful guest information - brings a feeling of warm nostalgia. Although the restaurant is not, officially part of the hotel - the Lebanese cuisine served a tasty and mouthwateringly meal.

Great hotel for the price, great location as I needed to be near the Freeman hospital. Clean rooms, and good size rooms especially as I needed a cot. All the facilities you need! Down side no lift. The receptionist was a great help with my bags, as I had my little one. Highly recommend!

First time staying in this hotel and was pleasantly surprise. My single room was clean and had everything i needed. The great surprise was the spacious bathroom, had a great sized shower ( not the usual box size you have to squeeze into) will definetly book again .

Only 1 issue was the parking as only had a few spaces at front and around then back, but where full when I arrived but would not but would not put me off staying again.
