Everyone was so nice & helpful. The restaurant inside hotel, the food was very good & well prepared. The workers were also really great. If I go back to Acapulco I would stay at The Holiday Inn again. The cleaning staff keep my room tidy. Very happy.

Loved the staff, everyone at the Holiday Inn Isla location are incredible friendly, helpful and professional! The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The area is very walkable many great restaurants and shopping near by. Also very close to Barra Vieja beautiful beaches.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Acapulco!

Staff was great. We really enjoyed our ten days stay, but the laundry service which it’s incomplete. The hotel has a washer machine, but not a dryer machine. We used it twice, and in the end we got wet, hot and smelling clothes because not hot dry air, a simple principle for dryers. Another issue is in the bathroom: not vent!!! Besides that, we had a Really great time, thank you to the people who works there. great service at the restaurant, and good location. We will come back!!

Okay Stay

Hotel seem to be a newer building. There were no wash cloths in the room when I first checked in. They offer good room service. Recommend getting Covid test done at airport if traveling international after stay. The hospital/nurse they use was late and the hotel charges an extra cut for the service which front desk never told me about! Airport is half the price and you get results in 30 minutes!

Several issues and two of the employees were unkind one them very rude. One day I was in a hurry and I forgot something so I turn around and park in the side of the lobby for a minute my sister stay in the car in this guy name HUGO was very rude and told me I couldn’t park there. I explained but he kept running his mouth.
My second day
I was so tired when I got there and the next morning I was trying to order me a breakfast but the phone wasn’t working neither the safe box. The coffee machine was broken. The housekeeper clean halfway we always find the durty cups on the table even the ice container with water , not enough toilet paper and always had to beg for face towel. The last day I ask Jonathan for the second time to schedule me for the transportation to the airport and to send me some help to get my big suitcases downstairs but He never did. But a night before I called reception after they fixed the phone , Jonathan answer I asked him to let me stay in the same room because accidentally made a mistake and I need it to stay another night. He had me in the phone for 10 minutes he was attending somebody else, he should it say something I would call him back si hanged up the phone , he never call back. Whe I call back he said he couldn’t do it and that I need it to do that in the morning which sounds unpolite to me.
I won’t never stay there again. After I stay 21 nights spend almost $1,500. That’s not all in the restaurant the waiter charged me over $500 pesos of tip.

Great hotel foe the price

Desk and staff are super friendly, room service will make anything you ask for and the place is so clean and respect. We stayed there with an entire 12 year old soccer team for 7 days and the hotel even changed their hours of the pool for us. Will definitely stay there again.

The staff treated my wife and I extremely well. Very nice facilities and a clean room with great service. On July 5, after arriving back from our day of activity about 9 PM, we encountered a scorpion on the property parking lot. Apparently, a brown scorpion jump from a palm tree and stung my wife. Fortunately, it did not pierce her skin. It did hurt and startle her but did have any after affect such as fever and convulsions. Please inform and report this incident to the corporate offices. Thank you.

My Favorite Acapulco Hotel

I have stayed in Acapulco for work and pleasure over many years and this is my favorite hotel. It has all the elements one would expect in a hotel of this class and the staff is both friendly and service oriented. While the immediate area does not have many restaurants there are services not far and the area continues to develop. The leach on this side of Acapulco is quiet and family friendly.

The location is good, the staff is very attentive and friendly. The decor of the lobby is beautiful and of the rooms is nice. The rooms are large. However, there were two things we didn’t like at all: the air temperature was fixed at 24C in our room and was impossible to adjust. And what we absolutely disliked was that the room smelled of humidity and mold. I could tell that it had suffered a serious mold problem because the furniture had been wiped clean to get rid of the mold on it but the smell remained and the damage and stains too on the inside. Even the electric outlets near those drawers had green stains that couldn’t be removed. I recognized the smell because I had that issue in a house I sold. This was very disappointing and I worried for my children breathing the spores during our stay. I didn’t request room change because I imagine it’s not the only room with that problem there and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of changing bedrooms. It’s a pity because the hotel is very nice a fairly new. And the personnel were very kind.

Near the airport

Nice place to stay near the airport. It is very far into town though, so have your own car or be prepared to pay 300 pesos for taxi one way. Rooms are very nice and staff friendly.

Stay away from the 1st Floor Rooms

The hotel overall was clean and the staff good. The location is near the airport and has an airport shuttle that runs hourly great for early morning flights. My flight was at 6:00 AM so I wanted to get to the airport 3 Hours before my flight. No one told me that the Airport is not 24 hours and the shuttle took me there and dropped me off at the airport that doesn't open until 5:00 AM.

Stay away from the rooms with a Balcony they are not at all secure. The outside balcony doors don't lock and there is a wide ledge that can be very easily navigated from balcony to balcony. Because of the lack of security concerns for their guests I don't recommend this location.

Close to airport

I have stayed in this hotel several times in the last couple of years and it has always been clean and great service. The beds were very comfortable. It wouldn't be my first choice if I were on vacation with the family but for traveling through the area it is good especially if you are flying in and out of Acapulco.

Great Hotel.

This Hotel is definitely up to par if not exceeds other Holiday Inn Hotels. It's well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming [as were all the Acapulco people, I talked too]. It's close to the airport and shopping centers, and the best part of it, is it's not in the busy, tourist part of Acapulco! If your looking for beach front hotels, well then you might be disappointed because, that it is not. It does however have a nice pool and a room for massages in the pool area too. I go to Acapulco twice a year and usually stay in fancy beach front resorts, which are nice, if you're going to just stay at the resort [usually food is overpriced and mediocre]. But me, to get a good feel of 'Real Mexico', I enjoy going to Puerto Marques. You can find the best stuff there. I will definitely stay here next time I come to Acapulco.

Our last stop on a road trip from Arizona to Puerto Escondido, Mexico and this was by far the best accommodation of the 6people day trip.

One of the auto attendants & a hotel driver named Roberto were absolute saviours when I had to find & install a new battery for our truck in the morning before we could continue our journey!
