The person who checked us in was absolutely amazing! The room and hotel was very clean. The only issue we had was the breakfast worker. The hot water for oatmeal was out. I asked for more hot water. She huffed at me and said it was full. She didnt check the water. Another client trying to get oatmeal also asked for hot water. She still didn't get more water. My friend and I asked again. She huffed and then went to check the water. She put a cup under the spout and tried to get water. She realized it was indeed empty. She went to the back and heated up the water. It took several minutes for the water to be replaced. My friend also noted that the worker huffed at another client about the gravy.

The 1st and second rooms were semi-clean except the table chairs and also the jetted tub in the first room was broken and they were unable to fix so we moved to another room with a jetted tub the next day and refunded us $25.00. After moving to the second room again the table chairs were not clean. Staff was very nice and helpful especially Linda. Breakfast was good and parking was extremely good. Overall, I would stay again.

Everything was excellent except the beds. They are too high, too soft around the edges to allow one to sit on the edge and swing yourself onto the rest of the bed. I'd love to stay there again, but simply can't put up with another night or two of compromised sleep.

We stayed here previously but this time it was horrible. The refridgerator didnt work since day 1 out of my 3 day stay. The AC didnt work . Tje feont desk receptionist tried to take payment and it was their system error , he handed keys and we went to the room. Early morning at 5am i see my card was slided almost 11times. My husband went to ask so early in the morning and then by the time it was figured my card was blocked by the bank for possible fraud activity. I am not sure what was wrong with the facility but no one showed up till the last day to fix ac and fridge. Horrible experience , and i am sure this was the last time we went there

Sadly, was not able to take a hot shower at this location. It was luke warm at best. That was the main issue I had with the place. Also, couldn't get the room below 70 degrees. The AC said 66 was as cold as it could go, but my thermometer said otherwise.

Staff was great though.

Pool area... was filthy. They had a high use by children though and that comes with the territory.

Parking was secure and safe. A lot of food and things in the area to do it seemed. Only stayed one night. Pool was clean however could use some maintenance. Overall the hotel was clean: breakfast was hot and had good choices. Room was clean but my biggest complaint was the bathroom. The tub was not level and pooled water. The bathroom needed updating. The shower head wasn’t great. The tub was slippery. Our bed was very elevated. My mother is 4”10 and in her 70’s she could not get in it without assistance.

Walking in we were greeted with a warm and friendly smile. She certainly set the tone for our stay.

Everything was well maintained, and freshly cleaned, looked and smelled great.

When we got to our room, we were very pleased. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillow options. This is huge for me because I forgot mkne at home and often need to sleep without in a hotel. But the selection provided the perfect squishyness- I'm grateful and slept well.

A most welcome surprise was finding plenty of large, absorbent towels. Yay! So often we visit hotels and find 2 paper-thin towels for our stay. Not here! Fresh towels daily - THANK YOU! Plenty of them and wonderful fluffiness.

Breakfast was well prepared and plentiful. She kept the area well stocked and sparkling clean.

We were very happy with our stay and fully intend to stay again for our next vist.

We truly appreciate all of the hardworking, friendly staff. They make all of the difference.

There was no hot tub like advertised, the beds were not queen size like advertised they were a full, and very uncomfortable. Hotel was clean, one staff member was great, the rest were kind of rude or didn’t speak much English. Don’t forget anything there and call to report it, they do not care.

Our room was not thoroughly cleaned. The chair had a dried substance on it, and the bathroom vanity had visible spots. I wasn't comfortable but had pressing appointments, so I ended up wiping and disinfecting every surface in the room so I could change and get to my meetings. The breakfast area, however, was very clean and neat, and the food was acceptable. Didn't use any other amenities.

Now the not so good…

Could not regulate temperature in the room - had to run the air conditioner even though it was 10 degrees outside
Got locked out of the room at 5:30 am after going to get coffee. Batteries were dead in the lock and no one had what they needed to open the door until 7 which made me late. No apologies offered at all.
TV wasn’t on in the breakfast area and no one had a solution
No syrup in the dispenser for breakfast
Even though the parking lot was bladed after a snow and ice storm, no one addressed the most high-traffic 10 ft area leading to the parking lot which was solid ice. I stayed three days and no one bothered to put salt down.
Just common sense things ignored

Room was clean and hygenic. Breakfast was just basic cereal, waffles and toast and like bagels and that’s it really. Not what I expected for breakfast and no lactose free option for milk so I just got our own breakfast in our room. Pool would be nice in summer but as it’s just glass separating u from outside it’s really cold in the winter or cold weather the water was quite cold and the air in the room was cold. The pool closes at 10 but the keys stopped working at 9 cause of a time zone error when the time switched which was addressed but wasn’t fixed so u couldn’t go swimming an hour before the actual swimming end time. Very static in the hotel a lot of those static electric shocks when touching buttons or even people due to lack of ability to open windows the air was very stuffy and caused a lot of static and stuffy noses and just skin dryness.

Overall, it was a nice day. My only complaint would be the lack of knowledge when checking out in regards to refund and receipts, as well as the young girls who worked the counter during the night they can be very rude and will hang up on you and leave the phone off the hook to avoid taking care of your issue.

Staff was great. Room was very good but bathroom was very, very poorly lit and there was almost no water pressure in the shower. The shower head system was very poorly installed and also made of cheap plastic which won't likely last. Otherwise, if these bathroom issues were fixed, I would rate the experience much higher. Breakfast was adequate. Rooms are poorly insulated for sound. Bed was great. Room and bathroom as well as entire hotel was very clean. Felt safe. Fix your bathroom issues Wingate!!!

The room was in good condition. I pre-checked in via online. When I came to the feont desk to get my room key, the attendant asked for a card dor my security deposit. I didn't understand becausw the online transaction requested my credit card information, the attendant said I used that card online to pay for my room, but that wasn't true. What is the purpose of putting credit card information in your system if it is not going to actually help with the convenience of the experience. After all, this is suppose to be the reason for online check in. Also, breakfast should last until 10:00am, since check out is at 11:00am. Overall my stay was a good one, my room was clean, the surrounding hotel area was clean and safe.

The place is fresh, very clean, quiet, and has a very good staff.
For me it's a very nice place with a very reasonable price plus the free breakfast is a plus. It is located conveniently to the highway system.

Check in was easy. Hotel was clean. Rooms could use an update. Old carpet, old yellow shower head, air conditioner was a bit loud so we turned it off at night. Pool was cold but clean. Breakfast was not great only cereal, bagals, make ur own waffel station, wet scrambled eggs and sausage was available. Girl working breakfast area was Zero help.
