Room was clean, staff was friendly yet professional, breakfast was what we have come to expect, the only thing that was unacceptable was the dumpsters from the construction work being picked up at 3am for the 1st one and 4 am for the second one. Otherwise a very quiet environment.

I did not like that there was no hot water in my room. Seems like a basic amenity. Call the front desk and was told another room on my floor had the same complaint. The good news is, hot water was restored shortly. The bad news is that this happened at all.

Check in is at 3:00, but rooms were not available because housekeeping was behind. The waiting room was full of people wanting to check in. Once we got in the room, there were still no clean towels and there were still dirty towels and cleaning products in the room. There is not enough parking but for a third of the hotel. Seeing as there was a large event in town, parking was full. This stay was a disaster that they were not prepared for at all.

The breakfast menu was not what I was expecting. Oatmeal and cereal with a toaster for bread. I’m in the south. Where are the biscuits and gravy with bacon and eggs. Was supposed to have a top notch breakfast.

Front desk lady was friendly and check in was quick. Hallways were looking a bit worn but room was much better. The big issue was crazy loud room across the hall. Super loud yelling with people going in and out and the door slamming until after 3am. Not much as far as the continental breakfast. Was in better shape when it was Sleep Inn.

This property is not maintained very well. The elevator seems very old, makes strange noises and has an electric or oil type of smell on the third floor. The first room we were given had a dirty bathroom and the lights didn’t work. Most of the complimentary breakfast was gone when we got there (an hour before it ended).

My stay was very comfortable. The room was large and not overfull of stuff. It was nice to just have some space. A couple not great things:
-The hotel WiFi was a drag to use, mainly due to signing on. I guess the might be another way, but the pop-up dialog didn't appear until I restarted my computer, and then I had to allow an ad to play in order to sign on.
-The shower took a long time to warm up, but did eventually, maybe because the hotel was pretty empty.
-The blackout curtain wouldn't close completely, because one clip was disconnected at the track (and the outside lights are suitable for a stadium!), so I had to improvise.
-The breakfast consisted of sugar, fat, salt, and starch exclusively. Nice bagels, though, and tasty sausage patties, but the scrambled eggs were really, unnecessarily salty.
Little things, like carpet 'baseboards' that are detached, a poorly adjusted shower door that wouldn't close properly, the curtain, show the beginnings of a slip towards a distant dilapidation.
All in all, though, very satisfactory for a good night's sleep. Especially for an off-season $75...

Sleep inn in Louisville smell terrible throughout the whole hotel in my room to the point where I had to use my inhaler to even breathe. I lasted 20 minutes in my room and checked out for my own health concerns. It was the worst experience I've had with a hotel in the 65 years I have been staying in hotels. I can't believe you recommended this place. I want a refund on this reservation as I checked in and 20 minutes later checked out do the condition of the hotel in my room. The air conditioning system in the room blue aired it sounds like it was full of mold.

The paint was peeling on the walls. The shower was small and disgusting. My girlfriend and I refused to shower in it. The overall room felt dirty. Free breakfast was just some eggs, undercooked sausages and waffles. And the coffee machine was broken. Would not recommend for the price we paid.

I stayed 6 days. On the 7th day they started tearing off the roof. I'm glad I left, they were throwing everything off the roof on to vehicles below ! The room smelled like cigarettes and I don't smoke! Live and learn...

Coffee machine was broken in the “breakfast area”, on Monday morning the “breakfast” was 1 bagel and 3 pieces of bread and no fruit. The plug for our sink was missing. 2 light bulbs over our sink were out and didn’t get replaced despite 2 requests. We were greeted by staff taking a break on the front couch customer area, spilling food crumbs all over. Subsequent approaches to the hotel were met by staff smoking right outside the doors. Front doors constantly open as the only air movement in the lobby.

1) Room cards consistently went out. So did the door mechanism in general. Minor inconvenience.
2) Placed a”Do Not Disturb” card on door. Still had maids knock asking for room cleaning consistently. Part of the issue may be that they don’t speak a lick of English. Major inconvenience.
3) Management is poor. It’s a small establishment - specifically requested manager to ensure I was not disturbed. Did not happen. Observed him sitting outside on phone. Asked to speak to owner/higher management. Stated that hotel ownership is “in process of transition”.
Facilities are clean. But there are a ton of hotel options. Cannot recommend.

Rooms were musty & smelled of cigarettes 1st floor was the worst moved to 3rd floor was better but smelled of cigarettes rooms were damp as though the ac unit was not de humidifing properly also need ear plugs when operating the bathroom exhaust fan, we were thinking maybe being pet friendly maybe the overly damp 1st floor carpet had been shampooed which smelled of chemicals & dampness, will not stay at a pet friendly hotel again

The hotel was not at all busy or full.Parking lot had a few cars in it.I told the guy at check in i requested a 1st floor that didn't matter. Arrived late and ready for bed. First walked in and main light wouldn't work. Discovered entire outlet wasn't working. Next room was stuffy, found the Heat was turned on instead of AC. Then went to bathroom and the pocket door wouldn't shut due to being entirely off the track. Had to physically lift it up to kinda close it. Thankfully, bed was comfy! Got up the next AM and the shower door wasn't working. Told the front desk, nothing written down, guessing it won't get fixed.

I arrived around 3:30 PM and there were no other guests at the front desk, but neither of the two people behind the desk greeted me as I stood there for a few minutes. Finally, the woman behind the desk greeted me, but with no friendliness or facial expression. I had a couple of questions, it being my first time in town, but she was very cold. She gave me a room, and after I went in, I noticed an overpowering smell of wet dog. The hotel does not have central air-conditioning, and the window unit was not on, and whoever had the room last must’ve had a dog because the smell was overpowering and the room was hot and humid. I went back downstairs and told her and she, without apology, gave me a key to a different room. I also called down to the desk on the day of checkout for a late checkout, and they were accommodating, but again, fairly unfriendly. I did tell them when I checked in that it was my first time visiting the city and so I was a little surprised at how unhelpful they were, but the second room they gave me was very clean and the window air-conditioning unit was sufficient to keep me comfortable all night long. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. I took a shower the next morning, and noticed that where the wand is attached to the wall is fairly low, so if you are taking a shower and you are a tall person, you would definitely need to crouch down in order to stay under the shower of water. Other than that, I can’t say much. I got a good deal on the room.

Our second stay at this facility and we received different treatments on the first stay. Staff was inaccurate with information on sharing about the new incidental charge policy and did not fully understand how to apply incidental charge to debit card causing confusion and accidental charges to our debit card.

While temporarily homeless, I stayed at this location most weekends. I also stayed at a few other hotels in the general area. The Jtown Sleep Inn is exceptional in this price range. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean & mostly well kept, It's a bit outdated, but not bad. They have complimentary breakfast & while it's not 5 star dining, there are many options and it tastes good. I have very high standards for cleanliness & the housekeeping team does a great job here. It's also relatively safe & they are pet friendly. I recommend for sure.

Horrible experience. If I could give 0 starts I would. The facility has a no smoking policy. When we arrived to the room the room had a strong cigar smell. We asked the concierge if the room could be changed and they stated it was all booked but Expedia will return our money. When contacting Expedia they tried to help and reached out to the owner however they refused to give us back our money. We went back to the property to speak to someone and they again just refused to give us back our money when the inconvenience was theirs. Absolutely horrible.

Lots of people hanging out in multiple cars in the parking lot from midnight to 2:00 am near the dumpster with the radio turned up. Seems sus like hookers or drug deals. Breakfast was below average with watery, inedible eggs and were out of cranberry juice. Clerk got the number of days wrong on my key card and didn't require an ID or CC for checkin. Housekeeper ignored DND sign and walked right into my room at 10:30 am.
