Microwave broke on Christmas Day. Offer was made to replace it but holiday interfered with finding a suitable time prior to my departure so I used the cooktop to heat my food for the last three days of my stay. The cleaning person was very kind and helpful. That was my second stay at Concept Apartments and I will definitely stay there again if I am in London in the future. Highly recommend these apartments.

A nice compact apartment at the top of a lot of stairs. Communicatios were excellent and access to the unmanned apartment was really easy. The only downside was the ridiculously hard materess which was a solid block.

The building and space is fine however the furnishings are poor quality. The bed is particularly uncomfortable with a cheap mattress as is the sofa. There is no toaster or grill as the microwave grill is too high to be of use with no rack. Poorly equipped/basic for the cost.

The apartment was quite small and lacked a few necessities for self catering eg there was no toaster. The location was convenient to the underground and Paddington. There were quite a few restaurants close by. Unfortunately there was no airconditioning although a fan was supplied. the road nearby was very noisy so you couldnt leave the window open at night for fresh air.

Apartment 4 has loose light switch fitting, sockets that did not work and the bed is in need of a new mattress. The pillow quality was very high & good shower pressure.

Surprisingly well appointed v compact apartment close to Edware Rd tube
It had most things you needed ( bar a kift!) In a compact space and was beautifully clean.
My only negative was the bed...one of the hardest beds ive ever slept in.

Whilst I quite enjoyed my stay, there were a couple of things that weren’t very good - for context I was staying in a ground floor flat facing the street… once it gets dark, there are lights that shine on the building all night, which no timer or anything. There are no block out blinds, just wooden boards that you pull out, which don’t do a great job at keeping the light out - this means that the light shines on you all night. I’m quite a heavy sleeper so this wasn’t a massive issue for me, but for others I can foresee this being an issue. The only other issue I had was as that the heating seemed to be controlled centrally - the thermostat didn’t seem to work. As I was in a ground floor flat, whilst you could crack the window,, because it was ground floor, and street facing you could leave it open all night (there was no notch to prevent people from breaking in).

Other than that, this is a well located flat close to public transport - so long as you chose a slightly different room or can get over the things I’ve mentioned, you’ll be fine.

Slightly out of the way but very quiet, roomy, clean, and easy to check in and out seamlessly. Super soft bedding! Only issue and it knocked it down was the actual bed. It’s 4 inches of extra firm mattress on IKEA wooden slats. We could feel the slats as well slept. It was so uncomfortable it became a kind of joke the whole trip. Like we can stay out and spend money or we can go back and go to sleep in the bed. Oof we will stay out lol.

Tiny room with too much squashed in. You had to walk across the room to turn the light out and then find the bed in the dark. Luckily that wasn’t an issue as the badly feeling blind let lots of light from the street in. Feels like they’re cyclically trying to fleece customers.

Staying in this apartment was very convenient. It was clean, warm (stayed in January), conveniently located, and the kitchenette made cooking at home possible. The bathroom had a shower with good pressure, cleaning service came twice while we were there, and they provided towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The apartment was very close to the 16 bus and Edgware Tube station. It’s difficult to communicate with management outside of office hours but during office hours they are very helpful and let me check in early.

No ELEVATOR uve lost me as a repeat customer

NO ELEVATOR NO ELEVATOR NO ELEVATOR. As clean and nice as the place is, i can NEVER stay there again. The stairs are narrow so unless you are traveling light, this place isn't heavy stuff friendly and for an apt, there ought to be something in place. I also had a parcel stolen after amazon driver carelessly dropped off my delivery. No fault of the management but wanted to mention it as a warning for others. The place is clean the best flat to stay in is the double or duluxe studio as it has enough space. Enjoyed my stay except for the major flaw of no ELEVATOR and a mix up in the reservation. That was sorted out quickly

Property was in a good location, lovely and clean, easy accessible and had pretty much everything we needed! Biggest negative was the bed! Extremely hard like there wasn't even a mattress and every time you moved it creaked the surrounding frame which kept both me and my partner awake! As much as I liked everything else, I would not book here again because of the poor night's sleep. A simple bed change to this apartment would make a visit much more enjoyable!

Small but comfortable home. Very clean with all the conveniences of a short stay. Very good location 500 meters from Paddington Station and 200 meters from the Underground station. There is a short and scenic pedestrian footpath along the canal that is not displayed by Google map street navigator. For everything you need there is Tesco and Mark & Spencer stores of a very short distance.
For people getting into the noise the address is between busy streets and the noise is around the clock even with the windows closed, but for us it was no problem. There is no elevator and it is not easy for large and heavy suitcases upstairs.

Nice little apartment, all the necessities were available and the room was clean. However, there was a construction site right next to our apartment making noice from 8 am until 6 pm. Due to that we couldn't sleep properly and the noice was pretty disturbing even in the day time. I didn't notice any information about the construction works prior our arrival in the website or in the emails. Also the bed was quite small for two people but endurable.

don't book this for comfort

Do not stay here if you actually want peace and quiet. I booked a three night stay on the economy flat and all I hear for 24/hrs is stomping, the slamming of doors, people in their flats, the construction right outside surrounding the building. I contacted the hotel management to request a flat change and they did not do that nor could I get a refund. I'm super tired as I type this after a 10hr flight from the USA. Book an actual hotel if you desire rest

Also kitchen roll would be handy, and some London magazines, like Time Out in the lobby, would be handy.
Finally a better window insulation as the building site tahta is literally a few meters from the room, woke us up 2 morning, early, out of 3 nights....

Great location and very friendly and attentive staff. Not a hotel so don't expect hotel amenities. It's like renting our own apartment so don't expect someone to clean your room and change your towels/sheets. Felt like a Londoner instead of a tourist which I loved. Located next to a University, markets, restaurants, shops and the tube. (Edgeware Road Station). Clean room with modern amenities. One head up though, the bed is a full, not a queen. The bed was big enough for 2 slim/short people but not recommended for anyone who is tall/big unless you are by yourself. They have a washer and dryer on premises which was great. I would definitely return due to price, location, and cleanliness.

I loved to stay at the Paddington Green apartment. I stayed there for three nights and couldn't have chosen anything better.
We were two people and the apartment had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.
We stayed at the apartment 10 and were lucky because we had a little balcony where we could enjoy some coffee in the morning. The location is also a great one, only steps away from the subway/bus stop and the area offers great dining options, mostly of authentic middle Eastern food.
I'd definitely recommend this place for your London stay!

Good location but not the 3rd floor

Being travellers from Australia with large suitcases and back packs plus being in our mid sixties it nearly killed me hauling the suitcases up to level 3 (room 15) via the narrow staircase.
Apartment is very modern but there is also another set of stairs to the lounge/kitchenette.
Very disappointed there was not a toaster.
Is close to the Edgeware Rd tube and a 15 minute walk to Marble Arch.
I am only talking about Apt 15.
Would probably have had a totally different review if we were on low level room.

Directions/description of property needs to be more developed as we took over 25 minutes looking for it. Phone call to office was very productive and support was great. Apartment great but the bed was terrible - like sleeping on the floor - mattress was so hard it did affect our sleep. All other facilities in the apartment good.

We stayed in Flat 1 which faces the front in the basement. Everything about the apartment was good with a couple if exceptions.
Loved the location, short walk to Hyde Park and Paddington Station. Park out front was nice. The apartment had a reasonable amount of space. Kitchen and bathroom were in separate rooms; good wifi; easy checkin. It had everything we needed.
The downsides were the temperature was mid 20s outside and due to the towelrail heater being on, the apartment was very warm, we turned it off ourselves. The biggest downside is outside flat 1 is a huuuge floodlight that shines upwards to nowhere all night. Unfortunately it lights up the space outside Flat 1's window. There is a roller blind that just doesnt block out the light adequately, so with jetlag we had no idea what time it was, luckily we had sleep masks. It doesnt serve any purpose, it could easily be replaced with a less bright LED placed in a more appropriate position away from any windows.
If they fixed the light, it would have been good value.

I needed somewhere clean and convenient for one night for a meeting near Green Park the next day. This place was absolutely fine. My room was at the back so very quiet. The room was very clean and functional, bed rather hard. Kitchenette was fine for catering for one for a brief stay. Bathroom was roomy and new and spotless. The building transmits noise but other guests were quiet so no problem. I would have given the rating a 5 if the mattress had been more comfortable.

This apartment was very clean, however, it states that it is a non-smoking complex, yet, the entire hallway and our room would fill up with cigarette smoke every morning from the cleaning staff smoking in the front doorway. When I asked them to please close the front door...wow...nothing but attitude and a complete refusal to do so. I was told to close my door! It was, however, it still filled with smoke.
Also, this is not a very nice or safe neighborhood. Multiple times, we were harrassed, followed, derogatory remarks made, etc. We did not feel safe being out after dark. The nieghborhood was filthy: trash, witnessed several individuals peeing on the sidewalks, smelled very bad.
This is not a place I will ever stay at again!!!

Studio apartment in quiet area

We stayed here for 4 nights for our first time in London. The check in and check out process were communicated via email and it was very easy. The WiFi was great and faster than most hotel WiFi. We loved having a small kitchen mainly for eating breakfast at our hotel in the morning. The room and bathroom were small but just fine for our needs with plenty of closet space to store our luggage. The location is great with a few grocery stores near by and the Edgware Road station is just a 3 min walk. we enjoyed our stay, our only complaint was the super thin walls. We could hear every word our next door neighbors said and unfortunately they were up talking and socialing past midnight every night. Luckily I brought ear plugs and once I put them in and we turned on white noise on our cell phone we slept just fine.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions, got a small flat which is kitted out with bathroom/shower, kitchen and sofa and bedroom. All to a high standard and clean, area is OK and A40 100 yards away, but easy access to tube and Marlebone and Baker Steer are only 6-10 minute walk away. This is close to where my grandparents lived so nostalgic for me. For a London break, great for a base.

Bed was VERY firm
A clean/change of towels/bedding would be nicer if it was more frequent than once a week
Wifi was incredibly slow
Other than that a great stay and would recommend.
We had the one bedroom apartment and that was small enough, so would chose that one over the other options.

Dont have apartment 5 as you will hear the staff opening cupboard by your door in the mornings

Perfect for business trips

The hotel is situated on a leafy street opposite a small park. The nearest tube stop is a ten minute walk. I was worried about the kind of things that might go on in an unstaffed hotel, but there was none of that. Getting in to my room was straightforward.

The room itself was spotless, modern and well-appointed with a functional kitchenette. A handful of teabags and some sugar would've made for a warmer welcome, but there are plenty of convenience stores nearby.

The only downside was that the room got very hot and as it was in the basement this meant the window only opened a crack. The air con unit made a lot of noise but didn't do much to quell the temperature, although the room also came equipped with a fan, which helped considerably. It's worth pointing out my stay was in October.

My brother and I spent six days in one of the Paddington green apartments. The place was compact but certainly not cramped . It contained everything we needed for a short stay, was very close to a convenient tube station, and lots of important London districts such as south Kensington and Notting hill are within easy walking distance. We would certainly stay here again on another trip to London.

This place was very comfortable and I liked staying here. The studio had the advertised things with comfortable bed. It was value for the money and location. It was difficult to find same amenities for same price closeby for other days. The only thing worth noting is there is a spiral staircase on which I had to take breaks while carrying luggage.

The apartment we stayed was really nice and we had a kitchen with all the essentials. The size was ok for two people. The only thing I can complain about was that the bed was so hard I had trouble sleeping and it made my back ache. Another thing was that there was this radiator in the bathroom that we couldn't switch off and it was so hot in there I couldn't stand being in there for more than a minute at a time. A bit noisy when people were coming and going but not too bad. Overall it was a nice stay for a few days!

The bed was too small. Limited cutlery like 2-3 forks and spoons....no air conditioning....it was clean.....but you can only sit on the bed.....no space to move in the suite ideal for 1 person.....no one cleans your suite or gives you new towels unless you stay 7 days......

Good location&Clean but small&no weekend service

Pros:
(1) Good location, close to Paddington Station (10 minutes walk, 5 minutes by taxi and cost 7 ponds.
(2) Fresh and Clean room.

Cons:
(1) Self check-in but No service during weekend. It could be trouble for you if something goes wrong. When I arrived on a Saturday afternoon and wanted to checked in by myself, the coded door did not work. When I called the given emergency contact number, nobody answered my phone call. I had to wait outside the apartment building for about 1 hour, worrying about where to stay at night. Fortunately other guests came back to the building at about 5pm and open the front door of the apartment building for us so we were able to get our room key in the locker located in the entrance lobby. They told me that the coded front door has not been working for few days and they also faced the same problem when they first arrived the apartment.
(2) Double bed is too small for two above average sized people.

Great location, clean and modern

I stayed in a 1 bed apartment with my 5 yr old son for the same price as I would have paid for a double room in a hotel. We loved our stay and have no complaints. The accommodation was spotless and although there were only 2 sets of cutlery and no toaster (I read others complaining about this) I liked this as it meant everything was spotless and tidy. It is a bit noisy at night but nothing like as bad as I thought it was going to be after reading other reviews. You could hear sirens and the occasional noise from upstairs.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a separate bedroom which meant I didn't have to sneak around when my son was asleep. Everything worked well and all facilities were modern and spotlessly clean. The proximity to Edgeware Road was great and only about 10-15 mins walk to Paddington station. A beautiful building in a lovely location looking over Paddington green.

Not exactly in the plushest of London neighbourhoods, it has the great advantage of being within walking distance of Edgeware Road tube stations, which are serviced by three lines. Building is quite isolated, so be prepared to spend lots of time and $ on the Tube to get to where you want to be. Room was small, and mine faced the proverbial brick-wall. I stayed for 10 days and my room wasn't cleaned once in that entire time. I'm all for economy, but really...

Clean, cosy, and well-furnished apartment. The kitchenette facilities saved us money on meals, and the location is within walking distance to many shops. There was a fair amount of traffic noise in this area, but this didn't bother us too much.

The location is good- though a bit noisy at times because of the college next door. The room was good in terms of space and facilities and the kitchen was well equiped- my only complaint is there were mini ants everywhere!

Everything we needed'

The best thing about this apartment was that it actually looked exactly like it does in the photos. It's right next to a police station and the subway is SUPER close. Everything is just a quick subway ride away. I would stay at this apartment over and over again. It was incredible!

Good quality, convenient, clean, room too warm

The room (lower ground) was in good condition and clean, and the stay itself was fine, with the admin service good. My only observation was the room temperature, which on a cool day was uncomfortably warm at night, with only a non-a/c wall fan, which did not provide any perceptible difference and was too loud to keep on through the night. Would not want to stay in that particular room in summer!
