The hotel was excellent value for money. Walking into the lobby you are greeted by friendly staff who are very helpful. It smells like a spa as you walk in the door and there are some comfy seated areas. The rooms are well designed and clean. There are ample amenities in the room - dishwasher, coffee machine, smeg appliances. Bed & sofa bed are very comfy. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Wilde Aparthotels. The communication prior to arrival was great, staff was attentive upon arrival and facilitated an easy check-in. The room was clean and comfortable! The location was ideal for walking to many key sights as well as easy access to the metro. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the right hotel for a friend’s trip abroad (from Canada). The little touches like coffee/tea/fridge made it the right space. Location was perfect. Close to two tube stations, a tesco express ( think sandwich’s, snacks, etc) staff were very friendly.

We then moved to the Wilde Aldgate for a few days after thinking it would be good to be closer to other parts of London. Paddington was a MUCH BETTER HOTEL - then Wilde Aldgate. I don’t know why Aldgate Wilde has better reviews (maybe better for business purposes) but paddington is cleaner, and far better maintained and a very pretty area.

Everything thing was great. The hotel and room was excellent. The only downside is that there is no fresh air in the building. It’s all run on air conditioning units which is appalling. I woke up each morning feeling like I had a bad chest infection and sore throat. It was horrendous.it’s such a pity because otherwise it’s fantastic.

Staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly but unfortunately the room was very lacking. The shower head holder was broken and would flail wildly whenever turned on. At 3am during our second night the fire alarm went off in our room for a single blast with no explanation. The room was also boiling hot despite having the AC on to its lowest temperature. There was a bumpy zipper running all the way through the centre of the mattress making for a quite uncomfortable sleep. It’s absolutely not worth the cost.

Plenty of space in my room compared to other London hotels. Uber cars available almost instantly, even at 6 AM. Easy walk to Paddington. Walked to Hilton for breakfast buffet - much better than at Wilde (at the same price). Not many dinner options within a few blocks of hotel. Overall hotel was excellent value for money.

Great spot. The new area, Merchant Square I think it’s called, is really nice. Lounge area in the hotel is well done. Stylish and has snacks and drinks for sale. Quick walk to paddington station and restaurants. Staff was lovely.
Room doesn’t offer much for charm, lighting system is a bit weird.

Fantastic Stay and Location

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the Wilde Aparthotels, Paddington. The staff were all helpful, friendly and welcoming. The room itself was modern, clean and tidy with all the facilities you would need. Breakfast had a wide selection of items, all fresh and regularly topped up. A big benefit was the parking, which is in an excellent securing parking facility below the hotel, which is easy to access from the main hotel building itself and a big reason why I booked here. The location is also very convenient as very close to Paddington Station as well as Edgware Road underground station, it is also only a 10min walk to reach Hyde Park. Overall excellent and would recommend

Great location, very quiet, loved the black out blinds, apartment had everything we needed. High quality amenities, Modern and comfortable.
Right on the canal so enjoyed lovely long walk with lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. V Close to Paddington and Edgware stations.
Staff very friendly and helpful, just one small thing in that the room wasn’t ready at 3 but we were given a complimentary drink whilst we waited.
Definitely recommend a stay here.

The location is excellent. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Paddington station and in a new and really nice part of town, by the water front.

The staff were professional and helpful. There was an issue with the drain in the room being blocked causing the water to pool when the shower was on, but the staff were straight on to it and fixed it while I was out for the evening.

Negatives:
The king bed turned out to be two single beds pushed together, which wasn't very comfortable.
The shower was a bit award to get in an out of, since it has a door that slides inwards. I understand this is to work with the small dimensions of the room, but not the most practical solution.

Overall - worth it for the location, but it felt a bit style over substance.

Tea towell & dishwashing liquid provided. No instructions for use of dishwasher and microwave/oven. Safe down not eady when from the older generation. Beds comfortable. Staff excellent.

For a four star hotel and for the price I paid for my stay, I expected better quality and service.

Never have I stayed in a four star hotel (including an apartment style hotel) where they did not replace the bedsheets and towels. This style of service is fine, if I was paying for a motel.
If their Expedia page was transparent I would not have stayed here and instead choose a hotel that actually provides a 4 star quality service.

This area has been regenerated within the past few years. It's very calming. Since this is an Aparthotel, you have a kitchen and microwave, dishes etc. There is a small Tesco (open 24 hrs?) within 5-6 minutes. Edgeware tube station with access to the Circle or the Bakerloo lines (depending with entrance used. Several restaurants and pubs nearby. Easy check in/out, great staff and new building. excellent!

Loved having a microwave and dishwasher. And the robes were super soft (best ever). Located super close to Paddington station to hop on the Heathrow Express (5-7 min walking distance). Also close to the canals, which is nice with lots of great restaurants.

We had 2 twin beds (I was with a friend) and they were comfortable and soft. Definitely will go back!

Hotel had two fire alarm in the middle of night which caused all guest to walk down to lobby. Both were false alarm. There was no explanation or apologies given to the guest. Very poor management and so inconvenient. Hotel was nice and clean, but do not expect anything else.

The bed arrangement is terrible. One side of the bed is pushed up against the wall. Very hard to get in and out of bed. No side table to lay things on. No luggage racks to use for luggage. The overall bldg is very modern and eco friendly. Area is less than 10 minutes walk to Paddington Station. The area was close to shopping and restaurants and also a Tesco Express less than 5 min walk. Staff was very friendly and welcoming.

Clean property in an area convenient to restaurants and transportation, 6 minutes walking to Paddington station and 3 min walk to Edgeware. Nice room with small but clean bathroom. My complaint was that we were overcharged for a menu item and after three discussions with two different staff members it was not rectified. It wasn’t a disagreement about my complaint just their failure to act after I followed all of their suggestions of who to talk to and how to communicate the issue ( thru WhatsApp). This left a stain on the visit that was unnecessary.

Room is very quiet. A couple with a baby was in my next door, but I didn't hear anything from them. Another benefit is it has a small kitchen, and there are 2 grocery stores within 3 minutes of walking, so it was very convenient to prepare something for breakfast.

Our 2nd stay here didn't disappoint, really lovely room/apartment which was spotless.
Very close to both Paddington and Edgware Road station, its location was perfect for exploring the city.
So nice to have facilities to make drinks and snacks, with a full size fridge, toaster, kettle, microwave/grill oven, dishwasher etc
Check in was super quick, great welcome from the Team.

No pillow protectors on pillows and when I asked they don’t do that or wash pillows after each guest asked for extra pillow

Great property, very close to Paddington and Edgeware, making it convenient for transit (Heathrow express and multiple tube lines). Apartment is small but well equipped with smart storage, so it doesn’t feel cramped. The kitchen is tiny but has everything you need and more to make a meal should you so desire. Lots of grocer and takeaway options nearby (M&S, Tesco, Gail’s, Gregg’s) as well as some dine-in options (Pizza Express, Brewdog, Lockhouse, Bondi Green). Close to the 22 bus line with easy access to Roundhouse concert venue and Camden. Highly recommend.

Wilde Aparthotel Paddington was a smart choice for many reasons. Ease of access from Heathrow on the express train to Paddington Station. The room it’s we quite large, lots of room for suitcases etc. bathroom/shower a little small but nothing troublesome. I believe there was a blown fuse or tripped breaker in the bathroom as both the heated towel rack and mirror with a light in it did not work and both are side by side, while everything else worked. It’s possible I didn’t operate it correctly, as the wall controls are a little vague in the description of what does what, but I turned everything on and it didn’t work. Wasn’t a big deal at all, I never raised the issue until I was checking out so they could look into it in case the next occupant isn’t as easy going. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, cooktop, and even a dishwasher if you need it. If you are arriving after 11pm from Paddington station, they lock gates around the basin area and you have to walk around the block to the side from Edgeware Road. Not a big deal unless you are carrying something heavy or you are in a rush. I would stay here again as everything was great including the price. Would recommend.

Delightful stay, wonderful location, staff was incredible, couldn't have been happier with our experience here. We arrived a little early and had to wait in the lobby for our room to become available, and one of the members of the staff even ran out to buy an iPhone charger just to lend my wife. I can't emphasize enough how good the location is, walking distance from Paddington Station and multiple Zone 1 bus stops, made it a dream to get around London.

We chose Wilde Aparthotels because it is one of the few options for a multi-room suite at a not ridiculous price. We were obviously not the only ones, as there were lots of families there.
There’s no formal front desk, but there are always staff there and they were great!
The room was immaculate. Excellent condition, lots of space, nice amenities. Kitchen was stocked with bottled water, a few snacks, milk in the fridge. Bathroom was also super clean.
It does follow the new trend where there is no daily housekeeping without an additional fee, which we were fine with. You can contact staff via WhatsApp if you need something restocked, which we did and found they were very responsive!
Our one issue is the location - it was a bit of a longer walk from Paddington than we thought, and it was a bit confusing to navigate. But the neighborhood also clearly being built up, so I expect the immediate area will improve.

Convenient location. Easy access to Paddington station once you know the short cut route. Ultra modern building and concepts. Room layout is rather poor for our 5 nights stay.
Little space for clothes and bath toiletries. No power outlet for hair dryer in bathroom. Kitchen is not really functional. Missing items for cooking. One coffee table. No work or dining table. Front staffs with lack of information about tourist information. We went concierges at Hilton next door for help. It would be nice if we get daily tidying service.

This is an interesting innovative concept that may need a little tweaking. One side of the bed was against the wall. How does a second person get in? And one person had to get out of bed to turn off either or both reading lights. One bathroom light was behind the door and another could only be turned on by pressing the mirror (in the right spot). On our side of the building, auto headlights shined into lower floor windows at night - with no obvious means of closing the curtains or lowering the blinds. Turns out the controls for the motorized blinds were across the room. In the morning it can be hard to get an Uber or taxi - so easier to walk to Paddington Station for the taxi queue. Overall, the price was reasonable, the staff very attentive, and it’s always nice to stay in a brand new property. We also appreciated the complimentary buffet breakfast after our early arrival following an overnight flight.
