We’re also just a five-minute walk from Edgware Road Station – both stations are great for getting Tube rides to Central London and beyond! Now we’re probably a little biased, but Paddington Basin is probably one of the best places to stay in London.

Not only are you close to all the fun on the Thames and right next to the train station, you’re also only a 5-minute Tube ride (or 20-minute walk…!) from Hyde Park, one of London’s biggest and most famous parks. Perfect for picnics in the summer and home to Winter Wonderland in the winter, our hotel practically puts one of London’s best parks on your doorstep.

And that’s not all, we’re also really close to Regent’s Park and the world-famous Madame Tussauds – see the stars up close in all their waxy glory only an 10-minute Tube ride away from our hotel. The rom was comfortable, however there was no hot water for 3 days. Front desk told us we would be getting a refund for 2 nights, but no refund. I called the number they gave me, but it was not a working number. The 4 of us had to take sponge baths using the tea kettle each night. I spent 2 hours each night heating 4 cups of hot water at a time . Was not the way I intended to spend my vacation.

There are no surprises when one stays at a Premier Inn. The Inns are reasonably priced for mid-range hotels. My room was basic but clean and comfortable. Morning breakfasts were included serving cold and hot breakfasts. The only beef I had was one of the cooks behind the hot bar separated a new tray of bacon by hand while not wearing gloves. That’s a huge No No.
The Inn at Paddington Basin is a little tricky to find due to construction at St Mary’s Hospital and the small entrance to the inn is not very visible from the canal path, but once you find your way around it is in a great location.

I informed them that I would be checking in late because our flight was delayed by 10 hours. After a total of 18 hours of traveling with tired and cranky kids, we arrived at the hotel only to be told we had to wait because no room was available for us.
Every day, our room key stopped working, and I had to keep going back to the front desk to have it fixed. For three mornings in a row, I requested room cleaning, but each night we returned to find that nothing had been done. I went back to the desk to complain and to ask for clean towels. It was terrible experience for us.

The beds were very comfortable, and the room was very quiet.
We were 2 adults and 2 kids 15 and 12 years. Although it was a bit tight with the for of us for the week, we were so busy in London it wasn't a problem. The breakfast was great and everyone was happy.
I recommend a few more hooks in the bathroom/room as there wasn't many places to hang towels etc.

Pleasant and convenient hotel for our stay of a family of 4 last month. Just a 5 min walk to Paddington Station, there aren't many bells and whistles, but it does the job. One issue is that they send out towels and linens to be washed, and the delivery for the whole hotel didn't come in one day, so we had to use hand towels for our showers. Small blip that the staff were apologetic about and it was out of their control, but still a nuisance.

We were caught off guard the first night when we realized that the area was closed off after a certain hour around the hotel which required we go a long way around. Asked for the room to be cleaned multiple times over 3 consecutive days. At one point- front desk staff came to clean and give us fresh towels at 10pm at night after a long day.
No phone to call front desk.
Front desk staff didn’t have name tags so? I was asked to describe who I spoke to previously, as no message was placed on the system.
Breakfast was limited.
When asked if the ac was operational I was told what temperature it was set on. Instead of checking to ensure there was no issue with it functioning.
Third bed provided was so hard- difficult to sleep on.

This property is fine for one night before you need to head to Heathrow as it's right by Paddington, but two nights is too long if you're on a leisure trip. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. One even went out of her way to find my friend's lost reading glasses! But just bear in mind this hotel is VERY basic. If you need an extra towel, an iron, anything - you will have to physically go down to the front desk to get it yourself. There is zero ambiance. The area surrounding feels more like an office park. In fact, there was a cool coffee shop we were going to visit but it was closed on Saturday - probably because it catered to the office workers. The hotel bar and restaurant is adequate but basic. You will have no sense at all that you are in London. No vibes. So again - fine for a one night before departure. Any longer than that and you may be wishing you'd made a different choice.

Great place to stay - breakfast downstairs was really great. They did not have a fridge or access to ice, but graciously let us store refridgerated medication in the office fridge. Very close to Edgmore station (and Paddington which has every line).

The people at the hotel, especially Afifa, was extremely kind and professional. Greeting me in the morning every day of my 5 night stay. The room, which does not have a safe or fridge, was very clean and comfortable. There is no hair conditioner, just FYI.
I did not care for the continental breakfast, it was crowded and messy. But if you eat a full breakfast, it seems like an excellent deal.
The hotel is literally steps from the Paddington Station, it is very convenient.
My only quibble is that the hotel had the worst Internet service I have ever experienced at a hotel. What makes this worse is that you can pay for better internet if you pay an extra 5 pounds a day. It is an office area, so there's no way decent internet is not available, but companies have to squeeze every cent out of people. That's all that is keeping my review from being 5 stars. If you have work to do you will pull your hair out because of the Internet.

The property is clean, very comfortable beds and a nice sized room. Within 7 minutes walk of paddington station. Within 5 minutes walk of food options. I felt safe in the area and would stay here again.

Good location and price was unbeatable!

Location was nice and quiet but close to Paddington. Overall VERY clean and comfortable -- seemed fairly new.

Early check in was unfortunately unavailable, so we had to drop our bags, but that was easy. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Er was duidelijk te weinig personeel. Vooral bij het ontbijt was dit duidelijk merkbaar waar het lang wachten was om een tafel te krijgen. Tafels werden niet snel schoongemaakt en het buffet was meer leeg dan vol. Ook ‘s avonds in de bar waren veel tafels smerig en was er maar één barman voor alle gasten beschikbaar.

Terrible experience at the hotel.
I woke up at 04:00 because the room upstairs was taking a shower. Extremely poor soundproofing. When I spoke to the staff, I was told they would send someone to have a look at it.

The breakfast is unacceptable — hair in the food, lots of junk food, no vegetables except grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. The service is also unacceptable; you have to stand in line to get a table, and the person in charge decides where you sit. The waitress wipes tables and cutlery with the same gloves, which leaves cleaning chemicals on the utensils.

Spend your money on a proper hotel, not one where you can barely sleep and where the disappointment starts already at breakfast. For us, never again. No service whatsoever — the staff had no interest in helping us.

I paid for breakfast for four people, but they claimed they had only received payment for three and wanted me to pay for the fourth person every morning. They referred me to hotels.com.

O quarto não estava limpo, banheiro com sujeira nos cantos, pia toda marcada de uso, poeira nos poucos móveis do quarto, manchas no carpete e nos criados mudos e cheiro de produto de higienização de carpete no corredor muito forte. Colocamos etiqueta de não perturbe no quarto e um funcionário da manutenção quis entrar enquanto estávamos de pijama no quarto para testar os alarmes do quarto. Não fomos informados de que precisava pedir para que a limpeza do quarto fosse feita. Estávamos em dois hóspedes e tinha apenas 1 jogo de toalhas. O quarto não tem comunicação com a recepção, tivemos de descer pedir o jogo de toalhas.

J’ai besoin d’aide concernant une réservation effectuée via Hotels.com pour votre établissement Premier Inn London Paddington – Paddington Basin.

Notre voyage Eurostar du 30 décembre a été annulé suite à la fermeture du tunnel sous la Manche (attestation fournie). Nous n’avons donc pas pu nous rendre au Royaume‑Uni.

Eurostar et le restaurant ont remboursé, mais votre hôtel refuse toute solution, même un avoir, alors que le séjour était objectivement impossible à réaliser.

Hotels.com m’a confirmé que le refus venait de votre établissement.

Nous avons perdu 618,23 € pour un séjour que nous n’avons pas pu effectuer, malgré toutes les démarches faites et les justificatifs fournis.
