We could only check in at 4p.m., but the staff allowed us to leave our bags in storage. The location of the hotel is great. There was mould on the ceiling in the shower. There is building work going on around the hotel and the room was small.

Took their time cleaning our room so we had to wait till 4 to check in even though we showed up at 11am. No rush to get us our rooms. Another one of our group found bed bugs. The front desk ask him to email the manager. Pretty sure that should be the front desks job.

The bathroom tap was dripping.Told at the reception and yhey said yhey would repair it. When we came back in yhe evening and asked, the receptionist didn't know what we wre talking about. There was no communication between the receptionists. It was so smelly in yhe room They also asked us to pay for breakfast on check out , when we had already paid- again no communication between the receptionists or noyhing written on the records.

The only real attraction of this tired and rather shabby property is its location on the edge of the old town, some ten mins walk from the Marché aux Fleurs and the seafront.
The attractive Place Garibaldi with its cafés and brasseries is just around the corner and the Garibaldi tram stop (for line 1 to the main railway station) is 3 mins walk away.
I had the good fortune to have a room on the top floor at the back (small with minimal facilities) that thankfully was quiet and provided a pleasant view over the rooftops.
The lobby with the reception staff sheltered away behind plastic screens and an unpleasant musty smell is not a particularly welcoming environment.
Breakfast is entirely self-service and offers a standard if unexciting choice of canteen type foods. The coffee delivered by the automats bears little relation to the real thing.

The hotel is very clean and the location is at a walking distance from the major tourist sites. The staff is very polite, helpful and accommodating. As our flight was cancelled in the last minute, Hotel Campanile staff quickly accommodated us for 4 additional days in a very short notice. We recommend the hotel and should we visit Nice again, this is the place we will go to.

The hotel is in a great location, walkable to Old Nice, lots of places to eat, drink and shop very close by.
Currently there is construction across the road which may be noises but I had a room at the back so never heard anything.
My room was on the 7th floor and there is only one lift which can be really slow so be patient.
I was in a double room by myself which was fine but it would be really cosy if there were 2 people sharing.
The tram station to the airport is only a 5 minute walk, so really handy.

The room was fine but not what the pictures showed. Our only window was to an internal terrace with 2 plants. However the room while small was extremely quiet. The location was excellent. When you drive up from a taxi it looks sketchy but the other side is a beautiful square

The place has no parking. The shower has a very high step so it is dangerous. The bathroom had used paper towel. No iron for clothes. The room is super small. Good location. Great staff. No security. No restaurant or room service.

Great location in Nice within walking distance to Vieux Nice and Port Lympia, as well as easy access to the tram stops - lots of restaurants around the area and very close to a Monoprix too.

Room is clean and new but very small (would recommend only bringing a medium sized suitcase here). Comfortable bed and air conditioned. Staff were friendly and helpful at reception when assistance was needed.

My stay at this hotel was excellent. The rooms were clean, and the location was perfect, very central and convenient for getting around. The hotel is well located close to main tourist attraction walkable within 15 min, there a train station Garibaldi will take you directly to aeroport. Bus and tramway all around. The facilities at the hotel is very basic, no safe in the room, no water provided but there is a supermarket on tje corner of the street and if you are ok with tap water than you’ll be fine,

The air conditioning in the room was great and much needed after a hot day of walking around Nice. The rooms are REALLY small, especially for two people with two suitcases. There is just enough room to have the two twin beds about 4 inches apart, a desk to set one suitcase on (the other had to sit by the door) and to squeeze around the beds to get to the bathroom which is 6inches from one of the beds. Good place to rest but not enough room to spend much time in it. Would stay again, just expect very basic accommodations.

Would recommend this stay but hotel can improve a few things. The location of the hotel is convenient walking distance to the Marina and Garibaldi Place.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean everyday and the cleaning staff did a great job!
The hotel can improve on the following to be great. The AC does not do a good job to cool down. Kept it on and lower temperature for hours and ended up opening the window which allowed mosquitoes in.
The rooms are tiny without much space for luggage, storage and laptop/ working.
Irons are available but need to go down to the reception and leave an ID to get it and return it to get an ID. Save some work for you and the guests and add irons to every room.

The hotel was spotlessly clean and in a perfect location near Garibaldi Place and the old town. It was also near the tram and bus stop which was ideal for exploring Nice and the surrounding area. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and the hotel staff were extremely friendly and polite and made us feel really welcome. Our room was cleaned every day. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. This hotel deserves at least 4*!

Locations was great but that’s about it. Pretty run down place that is more like a hostel. Walls an are paper thin so woke up early every morning because the kids next door were shouting and slamming things. No air conditioning so must be unbearable in the peak of summer, we stayed in March and it was too hot for my liking. The door didn’t work properly so one day we came home and the door had not shut properly after housekeeping had left. Anybody could’ve walked in and taken our things, no safe to store your passport either. We found ants in our room as well. Room was pretty small as well and there was construction outside which was a bit of an eyesore . In conclusion, I would not stay here again

Received a warm welcome from staff on arrival. The room was a good size for the two of us and had nice views. Construction work at the front wasn't an issue for us, as we were out for the majority of the day. The windows did a good job in hiding any noise that was there. Very clean and tidy hotel, the staff were lovely too. Great value for money and will definitely consider again!

Friendly and clean hotel within short walk of nice old town. The area outside the hotel was undergoing works but staff ensured this didn’t affect the quality of the stay, the area is being regenerated with a fantastic linear park which is due to be finished next year. We left too early for breakfast so can’t comment on that.

The room itself was decent. Comfortable bed and clean. Good welcoming and great location. However, the downside of having rooms with no safe has left me without AirPods. The person (staff) would’ve throughly gone through our things to find them. So disappointing as we would of stayed there again, now leaving me to fly home in silence! Bad ending to a great holiday!

This place has a small room but definitely good for solo traveller i have enought space foe my suitcase but would be probably pack for two people. The room is diffinitely small for two peole with suitcases there will be no place to leave both uitcase open or no floor to walk to.

The frontdesk people Feancisco and Pearly were really nice and welcoming. They are better than peole from Estonia Hillton fron desk.

They have AC so relaly good, no bathtub internet is good in the morning then its very slow at night. I cannot do remote work at night even till 2am I cannot do zoom call. 😫

Location is convenient a block or two away from busses and tram bus 15, L1 and L2.

Will recommend this place if peole are not doing remote work.

Overall great for vacationers.

Great location for a reasonable price. We had a double room which was a little small but it was clean and fresh.

Biggest pro is the staff here, very friendly and helpful. We had to check out a day earlier due to the air traffic strikes in France.

We dealt with a receptionist called Perla who was fantastic managing our case. We exchanged over email whilst a refund was processed for the night not used on our booking. She was very responsive and understanding. Thank you! Would stay there again!

Hotel Campanile is well-located and on an-easy-to-access street. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The lobby is bright and makes you feel comfortable as soon as walk into the hotel. The breakfast was excellent--a healthy and satisfying array of food was offered. The breakfast room was bright and inviting, too. The bedsheets and pillows were perfect and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The only negative about this stay was that the room was quite small. There was really nowhere to hang up your clothes or move around the room. Fortunately, we were there for a quick one-night stay, so keeping your clothes in your suitcase wasn't terribly inconvenient, but you need to feel well-acquainted with your roommate at this hotel. All in all, however, it was good value for the price and again, the location was superb!
