The location is great - in a nice peaceful neighborhood away from the crowds. The vaporetto is very convenient. The room was good and the public areas are nicely decorated. The breakfast was plentiful but not good quality. I'd rather have reduced choice. The orange juice tasted like cordial / squash!

The hotel is in a lovely quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of central Venice which was very welcome after a day seeing the sights. The vaporetto stop is a couple of minutes away which makes it very easy to get about. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfasts were excellent with lots of choice to suit all tastes.

- The location is quite convenient if you're planning to use water taxis, as they are close by.
- Beautiful views and scenic surroundings, making it a nice spot to relax.
- It’s not in the heart of the city but still has easy access to the main areas via public transportation.

**Cons:**
- There aren't many dining options nearby, so you’ll likely need to travel to find good restaurants.
- The hotel was difficult to locate on our first visit, which added a bit of frustration.
- Unfortunately, the staff were not very welcoming. They were blunt and not very helpful when we had questions.
- While the hotel itself is quite pretty, the air conditioning situation was a major letdown. We ended up requesting an additional fan, which barely helped in the heat.

Overall, it’s an okay choice for a short stay, but there are some issues that need to be addressed to make it a more comfortable experience.

Amazing hotel in a lovely, quiet area in Venice - accessible from the main train station via 4.2 and 5.2 ferry, takes about 30 minutes.
The welcome from the reception team was excellent, warm and friendly, the hotel has a lovely courtyard, for relaxing and sunbeds. Breakfast is fabulous and super value.

The AC in our wasn’t working properly it was extremely hot all 3 days during our stay. Concierge was helpful and attended to our matter immediately. However, the AC stil has some issues and clearly wasn’t working to full capacity. Paid $1500 for 3 unpleasant hot sleep nigts.

Additionally, when we made our reservations we forgot to add the continental breakfast option. The staff helped us add breakfast and at a discounted rate. Really nice stay.

In a quiet part of Venice away from all the crowds. Easy walk to the Vaporetto. First night in years I haven’t needed an eye mask or earplugs to fall asleep. King size bed and spacious room. We chose the one with its own private balcony. Breakfast every morning started the day off right. I would stay here again.

The hotel is amazing. It is removed from the downtown area, which is great because you get to avoid the mass of tourists. The neighborhood is beautiful, quite, and mostly occupied by native Venetians. The water bus stop is a 3 minute walk away and it gets you right downtown in just a few minutes. Or you could walk 20 minutes to San Marco, and the walk is safe and beautiful. Good amount of restaurants in the area, but lots more just a short walk away. The staff was wonderful, the facility was clean. The garden was lovely. I would stay here when I come back to Venice.

The hotel is gorgeous. It’s in a rather quiet area of Venice which was really nice to come back to after a busy day. From 8am, you can hear the local bells ringing on the hour or the calls for church on Sunday. I believe there were some repairs occurring to the main courtyard rooms but it was not a disturbance during our stay (over the weekend). We stayed with an included breakfast that had a lot of variety in food and was hosted in a lovely area. Outside of that, I did not notice other amenities. The front-desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable, with many great recommendations. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Very impressed with this hotel, it was immaculately clean, and very well decorated. Our room was spacious and comfortable (although I was unsure if the a/c was working!). Staff at the hotel were very welcoming and helpful also. The hotel is South of the hustle and bustle of centre of Venice, which was great after a busy day, whilst being in easy reach of the landmarks from Saint Elena water bus routes. Would highly recommend.

This hotel was great! We were greeted by an extremely friendly and accommodating front desk clerk who was able to tell us all we needed to know about the stay and the area.

We loved the room, the shower was absolutely amazing, and we were provided robes and slippers as well. A bottle of wine we ordered from room service arrived promptly.

The one and only thing about this hotel that was not up to standard was the Savor restaurant. After a day of walking we wanted to stay in for dinner and arrived to a full restaurant at 8pm. We spoke with the waiter who told us we shouldn’t wait for a table because there would be none available until after 9 unless we had a reservation. When we returned to our room we talked it over and decided to just wait - so we started to reserve a table for 9 but realized the reservation service was telling us 8:30 was available. We took that reservation, deciding if there wasn’t a table at that time then we would be happy to wait. We walked down to the restaurant at 8:25 to find it basically empty. We still do not know why the waiter told us that we would not be able to eat there that evening. After sitting down we waited over 15 minutes to be greeted, then another 15 before drinks arrived. The service was more than slow, it was sluggish, and the 2 of us sat with empty drinks and no water for lengths of time wondering if we had been forgotten in the empty restaurant. Food was just okay, and prices high. Take the waterbus to another restaurant!!

This was a very pleasant stay for us. The customer service was excellent, and the room was very clean (a bit on the small side but the room compliments made up for it). The breakfast each day was delicious with a wide assortment of choices, a clean display, and the barista made the best cappuccinos. We loved the location of the hotel which was a bit away from the hustle and bustle and right next to a park where we could run along the water each morning. There is also a water bus stop close to the hotel which is very convenient.

Beautiful property, updated from top to bottom recently (last year?). Super comfortable bed and room. Very kind staff. Bar area is beautiful too. Only issue was that our room was sort of below ground level whereas I thought from the hotel website that all the rooms opened out onto the lawn. Our windows looked out onto a ditch or something. The room still had large windows and very high ceilings so that helped. A little far from the busier part of town but there’s a water taxi stop less than 5 min walk away.

The hotel location is not close to duomo but waterbus is 2 minutes from hotel. There's a beautiful park right next to hotel and a ristorante. Venice bieanalle location is at walking distance. Hotels inner garden is very relaxing. Also foods are great. A little detail about the pillows at the chairs, there are ottoman sultans. Thanks for the hotel staff they were kind and helpfull to us.

The reception staff were the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They quickly checked us in and walked us to the room to explain features and even mapped out our short stay with great suggestions for our Venetian experience. The rooms were spotless, quiet, and very spacious. The king bed was wonderful and the bathroom was excellent with small, elegant details like the quality of complimentary products. I just wish we were able to stay more than one night.

A hidden gem in the “suburbs” of Venice. It’s so amazing! The ground in the garden is out of the worlds. The breakfast is great quality, natural ingredients for the granola bar, and a real tray of honeycomb for our consumption. I have never seen a tray of honeycomb at my buffet or menu before, what a treat!
The rooms are clean and new, smart yet simple Italian design. Love this place. Head staff is great

Our favorite hotel in Venice

Loved the neighborhood, it is really quiet, and close to vaporetto stop, and just two stops from San Marco square. Hotel staff was excellent and helpful, and the breakfast was great and well worth the price. The only minor comment would be that, while we were out, the cleaning service would come into the room to make the bed even when we hung the do-not-disturb sign. It did not bother us, but it might bother other guests. Other than that we were really happy with our choice and recommend this hotel.

The hotel is a converted convent, very well done with exceptional stairways. The only negative might be the lack of other businesses in the immediate area, but that is a positive also because it remains so quiet. The breakfast option is well worth the price. Francesca at the front desk went above and beyond our expectations. Made for a great experience in spite of bad weather.

Lovely hotel in a quiet area just outside Venice. Easy to walk or take a water bus into Venice from hotel. We had a basic room which was small but was very well equipped. Only problem is the bathroom sink is too close to the door so getting into bathroom is tight. Ate in restaurant one night and was very impressed. We are planning coming back to Venice soon and will definitely stay again at this hotel.

Lovely hotel in a tranquil area

It's a lovely hotel in a tranquil area close to the harbour. It's within easy reach of San Marco either by waterbus or walking (30 min walk) it may seem long but with the wonderful views along the journey its totally worth it.
The staff at the hotel are ever so friendly and helpful I couldn't fault them. They always had a smile on their face.

This is a great location!! It's close to the main attractions but farther away in a peaceful, local neighborhood. The dock is just a quick walk from the lobby - less than 5 mins. We also were able to walk to the main attractions, took about 25 minutes. We took the ferry to Lido to go to the beach one day - it's a very quick, as it's the next stop from Saint Elena and takes less than 10 minutes!

The staff were friendly but not overly courteous (some more so than others). The breakfast was ok, nothing special. We ended up paying to eat breakfast there every morning since it was convenient but didn't try the restaurant for any other meals. The room is as pictured in the images and the bathroom was very spacious. The bed was extremely uncomfortable - hard and worn out with a dip in it that hurt our backs. The AC did not get cool enough. This is probably not an issue as it gets cooler, but we were there in the heat of the summer and that was disappointing.

Overall, great location but not the best sleep.

Very clean modern hotel in a peaceful surrounding whilst very easy to get into centre of Venice. It has a lovely garden to relax after a hectic day. Breakfast was very good and relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are clean and modern with clean crisp fresh linen and towels - also bathrobes and slippers. WiFi and TVs also. Staff were very helpful particularly when checking in they gave us lots of useful information about transport etc. Bought a 3 day water bus pass- the stop it about 100 yards from the hotel. This will take you all the wAy up the grande canal, to the islands of Murano and Burano, St Marks square, Rialto. Would definitely go again

This hotel was nice a lovely, quiet part of Venice. Very secluded. A nice change from the hustle and bustle of the main area of Venice. Quaint coffee shop right down the street. We stopped by every morning for a coffee and evening for a drink. The hotel's courtyard is great for sunbathing or enjoying a bottle of wine. The room was perfection. Clean, big and a comfy bed. Booked & paid 6 months in advance. Been before so knew few rooms have seperate shower, most have shower over bath. Requested shower as I have balance issues. Arrived after several hours arduous travelling when got to room found it had a bath! My request totally ignored. Told hotel full so would have to change rooms after one night if I wanted shower. So no chance of showering that evening or next morning whilst hot and sticky. Had to make a big fuss and refused to do this. Finally Manager had to be phoned as he was not present in hotel (and it seems no one has any authority when hes not there) and got a room with a shower. Bad start to my holiday I was looking forward to.

This hotel is great. Staying in St Elena away from the hustle and bustle was an excellent choice which I am very happy I made. The location is easy to access using the ACTV ferry usually the number 1 for me. You can also walk straight up to San Marco etc if you feel like a nice long walk along the water! The hotel is excellent, my room was a great place to come back to and I really enjoyed the quiet area. Will stay again, ciao!

Great quiet place in Venice

If you sit in the garden, you can order drinks, but not dinner. If you sit inside, you can order dinner, but not drinks. The two are 50 ft from each other. A minor gripe though. Overall a really nice quiet place. I would definitely go back.

Quiet quarter, close enough, away from the crowds

Easy access with vaporetto or walk, very quiet and nice area, perfect breakfast and breakfast outdoors garden. Walk from vaporetto to hotel is very pleasant, a short relaxing stroll to begin day or to unwind returning in the evening. Short ride (1) stop to Lido for a day at the beach or a bike ride. Staff in general friendly and courteous.

Check your room

The hotel is fine but they have some rooms that are substandard, and we had one of them. Based on that experience I cannot give a positive review. If you're staying there, insist that you're room has an open view of the courtyard or street before confirming reservations.

Lovely hotel in quiet location

A lovely small hotel in a quiet location a short distance from the centre of Venice. The walk along the waterfront towards Venice is easy and picturesque with ample photo opportunities.
