This cozy, three-star hotel, Villa Delle Palme, offers 11 charming rooms in Lido di Venezia. Centrally located on Via Enrico Dandolo, it's a short walk from the public boat pier and a 15-minute boat ride from St.
Mark's Square. Built in 1905 as a private home, this beautiful Liberty-style villa was converted into a hotel around 1950.
Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the Venetian Lagoon, Doge's Palace, and the bell towers of St. Mark's and San Giorgio from the rooftop terrace.

Charming and Peaceful, but a Bit Pricey
Villa Delle Palme in Civitavecchia is a lovely little boutique hotel- clean, charming, and very well maintained. The staff deserves special mention: everyone I encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to make the stay comfortable. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, a nice place to unwind before or after a cruise.
The dinner was surprisingly good, and the bartenders were fantastic, great energy and excellent drinks! Just a note for future guests: don’t overpack. There are quite a few stairs and a very small elevator, so traveling light will make life much easier.
My only real gripe was the price it felt a bit steep for the style of hotel and the amenities offered. While I enjoyed my stay, I do wish I’d chosen something a bit closer to the port for convenience.
Overall, it’s a cozy, peaceful spot with great people and good food just be ready for a few stairs and a short trek to the ships!

Great stop on night before cruise departure. Easy taxi ride to Port. Tough to beat the views from our room, request one overlooking the sea. Restaurants north of Villa delle Palma provided plenty of dining options.

The only complaint was the very small shower as it was awkward and had no second glass panel to prevent the water from getting all over the floor. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond. They set up private cars to pick up our group from the airport to come to the hotel. They also setup a car to take us to the port for our cruise. The restaurant was amazing, so be sure to make reservations with them theough the hotels.com messaging app. They monitor the messages continually. Would definitely make sure to come back!

The view from this hotel is nothing short of spectacular, especially from the dining lounge and beach access.
The hotel is mostly clean, with newer amenities, however, there were some small ants in my bed, the bathroom lower wall had yellow drip stains (I assume urine from previous guest) and the bed could use a heftier blanket.
The breakfast included has several fresh juices, hot coffee, yogurts and an abundance of pastries and fruit.

From the moment we walked to when we checked out we were taken care of by friendly and thoughtful staff. We got a great lunch at the restaurant and also reserved chairs by the beach/terrace area that same day we arrived and had a great time relaxing before dinner in town- which we walked to. Breakfast was excellent - ham was great quality and there was even homemade marble cake. Did I mention the view from the restaurant? There is a reason this place was full of knowing Italians. We would definago back again.

Probably the most amazing hotel, me and my wife I’ve ever been to. We came to this hotel to start off our honeymoon and without our knowledge, upon arriving, they had upgraded our room stock the mini fridge and left a congratulation note! We had to stop in town for a little bit after checkout and they let us leave our luggage there so we didn’t have to track it around the city with us. We are also Americans so we didn’t have the proper outlet to plug into the wall so after going downstairs, they were able to lend us a European adapter for the lenght of our stay! Hands-down 10 out of 10 experience we will return next time we are in Ital!

I think we probably got the worst room in the whole place. It looked like it was made for monks in a monastery two low beds, Hart of the rock windows that don’t open dusty draperies. Although the receptionist was very nice, she did not know how to show us how to turn on the television she had to call someone else and it took like five phone calls to get it to work. Either there were bedbugs there or something else that bit my husband’s back. I did not get it, but it ruined our vacation. The only thing that we enjoyed about that hotel was its location and that the restaurant food was excellent.

We stayed here for a few days before going on a cruise and it is in a cute small town. The hotel is accommodating to your needs and eager to help. The food is expensive and most other places to eat in the area do not open until 730/8 pm which is somewhat late. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to the train station.

This seaside hotel was a true find. We decided to stay closer to the cruise port than in Rome. Our host, Cesar, was so helpful makong arrangements for transportation. We corresponded via email before the trip. He was prompt in his replies and took care of everything. Town was a short walk away along the sea. We decided to eat at the hotel restaurant and were so glad we did. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Over and above the call of duty, I checked out went to cruise port got on ship and found I left my INSULIN in the fridge at hotel. THE HOTEL HAD DRIVER BRING IT TO ME WITHIN THE HOUR, SAVED MY DAY MAYBE MY LIFE!!! And by the way the hotel staybwas wonderful!

This hotel is situated right on the Mediterranean about a 10 minute walk from the train station. The views were incredible. It has a lovely garden area with palm trees to relax. The dining room is also very nice with windows all around. It's very comfortable and inviting. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed. However, the water in the shower was not hot. I let it run for a few minutes and then just had to deal with it. I was only there for 1 night and really no opportunity to get the problem resolved.
