This was my favorite place I stayed during my trip to Italy. The rooms were charming, clean, and well appointed. The staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. The grounds were beautiful, and the location right across from the beach on the Adriatic was wonderful. If you are visiting Venice, I highly recommend it.

The room was very spacious for a family with beautiful views over the very well maintained gardens and pool. The reception staff were very warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant location near the beach, centre of lido and water taxis.

We arrived at the property at 7pm to find reception was closed, despite both the email and the notice on the front door saying it was open til 8pm. A note was left asking us to visit reception from 9am the next day, disrupting our morning plans. Check in the next morning went okay and the staff member was hospitable, informing us the pool was open til 7pm. We came back to reception at 6pm to request towels and was told by a different member of staff it was closed for maintenance and would not be open again. The next morning the member of staff at reception did say the pool could be opened 'in an hour'. Overall the service seemed very uncoordinated and the property was very dated, however it was clean and fairly quiet.

It's an amazing resort for family stay. Very nice, heated pool. Friendly people, great location. It's a bit off center but perfect for beach walks and swimming. The furniture is a bit dated and they need a bit of a nudge to clean the rooms, but it's me trying to be picky. Overall 5 star stay. I would absolutely come back.

It was a fantastic stay for the 2 day period we spent here in Venice as it came with 2 separate rooms and toilets. On the outside, there is access to a small terrace as well as a swimming pool. It was in a good location however to improve, I would say that the room decorations were slightly old. Apart from that, a very positive stay.

On the Lido, so it is far from the horrible crowds that afflict large parts of Venice, but still an easy waterbus ride to everywhere. Green and quiet.

Just got back from a 10 day vacation in Venice.we stayed at the Ville del Lido on the Lido S.M.E. side of the lagoon. I chose the Lido because having stayed in Venice before, I found the Lido to be a much better option then staying in Venice. First the lido has taxi service to take you from the boat station to your hotel with luggage, in Venice unless you have a very expensive hotel that is easy to get to via water taxi, you have to carry your luggage to the hotel which can be challenging due to the many bridges one might have to cross The Lido is a smart choice to stay and unwind after the hussle and bussle of sightseeing in Venice, it is only a short Vaporetto ride from Venice, and there are many Vaporettos coming and going from the lido, We stayed at the Ville Del Lido, which was as comfortable as one can be, we had the 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite with a balcony across the street from the beach,and also a private terrace above our room with the stairs which lead to it inside our room, the beds were comfortable, our master bedroom had a master bath, and the other bedroom had another full bath in the hallway. Our unit had a kitchen, and refrigerator which we stocked shopping at the local supermarket called Conad, in the center of town where all the shops, and restaurants are which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel. In the summer you can spend time on the beautiful beach . The hotel staff spoke English and were very attentive to all our needs. We loved this hotel.

A surprising gem!
We were hugely surprised with our stay - the complex seems pretty new and decorated to seem old and original, which is a little strange but actually quite endearing. The beds are extremely comfy, the bathrooms are perfectly fine, the lounge area is nice to have and the kitchenette was surprisingly handy. There is a big store 8 minutes walk so we made lunches in our room and enjoyed them in the garden or on the beach. Local restaurants are great and many do take away if you want. The pool is nice and the sun loungers are comfy. Breakfast was pretty standard, but enjoyable. In all nothing to complain about and would seriously think about coming back soon!

Great location for the money. Comfortable rooms. We stayed during the off season so no pool, but that wasn't what we came to Venice for. The rooms were very \"Venice\".....awesome. We could have had some advance notice for the ferry. It caught us a little off guard, but was manageable. We arrived very late and had to call the staff to let us in....no 24 hour desk service....again, it was manageable. The experience was what we were expecting and even exceeded our expectations. This was a great trip and worth the money.

Very nice villa-style hotel 10 minutes from vaporetto stop and 200 yards from the beach. Excellent suite accommodation opposite a well maintained pool and gardens. Friendly staff and a decent continental breakfast. Great base for exploring the Lido and wider Venice. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Hotel very clean and tidy needs a little tlc, we had an economy suite which was big and spacious the outside space was excellent and kitchen was fully equipped. Breakfast was very nice and plenty of variety, the setting outside was lovely. Pool area was perfect for relaxing. The local area was very nice, beach was great and nice walking. Very easy access to the city by water bus and also all the other islands. Would definitely go back again

The residence was very clean and accommodation simple but functional for our needs. Great location if you like to be near the sea otherwise note a 15min walk from water taxi drop off to residence. No large taxis for family of 5 so quite a hot walk with luggage on arrival.great place to stay to relax after sightseeing in Venice or surrounding Islands .. pool very clean and plenty sun beds ...breakfast simple - could have been more choice but it did the job... we weren’t recommended any local restaurants but actually the closest : Africa was great. Plenty choice on the main high street on the Lido for family pizza/fish etc Worth buying water taxi pass which we used to see all the islands - Burano a must. Also dropped off at various point around Venice so we could cover all the districts.

HOWEVER, one big annoyance was that the upholstered furnishings were all VERY tired: all the upholstered chairs were sagging like crazy!

This apartment complex is wonderful on the eye. The rooms are very individual in appearance and all have a terrace or two storey balcony. The pool area is wonderful (when the grass is cut) and the local area is looked after fantastically. Being slightly away from the main area of Lido makes the setting quieter. The staff on the other hand are a little bit and miss. Rose on reception is wonderfully inviting and always smiling but the owner is a bit of a grump as is one of the other reception staff. We made the most of the 3 day ACTV boat pass which allowed unlimited travel on their boats, great value which makes Venice a simple boat ride away.

It was such a great experience. I give this residence a 10 out of 10. Perfect condition. Location was ok, right in front of the beach and only 10 minutes walk from the boat terminal in the island. The personal staff is incredivel. Very nice people, always willing to help. A big “thank” to Rose, she did a great job. Her service to the guest at the pool was excelent, always with a smile. The owner was such a nice guy. In general i dont have any negative comment about this property. I would defenitely come back to this property.

We have booked this hotel online. since we booked the hotel we have received several emails from them giving us instruction how to get to the hotel. It was a good communication and we were very pleased. The hotel was easy to find,, very close to the beech, clean and comfortable. we will definitely go back to this hotel in the summer.

It was a bit hard to find. About a 15 walk to water bus, nothing there in lido in the winter very quiet but really nice. A few shops & cafe on the Main Street to the water taxi.

Staff at hotel are friendly and communicate effectively. Hotel has original interior however compared to other hotels in Italy this is still chariming and well looked after. Grounds of hotel looks extremely well taken care of with a beautiful pool which would be nice to use in warmer. Unfortunately I was not at the hotel long enough to experience the breakfast offering.

Broken toilet and sewer gas for days and no help
I had a two bedroom/two bathroom suit, and I stayed for 10 days.
- There is no elevator/lift in this hotel.
- There was a toilet leak at the master bathroom, and the sewer gas was sneaking out. The room smelled so bad for days, and my complain to the hotel front desk to fix it or change our room didn't help.
- Otherwise, it is a good place to stay for family vacation.

Decent sized rooms and good value for money but look like they haven't been decorated in 20 years. Feel a bit dirty because they are so outdated but were cleaned to a good standard. Mattresses sunk in the middle and sofa/bed was really uncomfortable. No BBC on tv - just german stations. Nice friendly staff. Disappointing breakfast in a room underground without windows. Swimming pool looked nice but wasn't heated and was near the beach and not too far to walk to ferry. Probably wouldn't go again though as beds uncomfortable.

Very beautiful, clean rooms should be the ideal place to spend summer vacations. However, I visited in October, the weather was cold and the heating was not available before Oct 15th! Another disappointment was the lack of a working hair dryer... Regardless of my bad luck with the weather, the place is beautiful and I would book it again for a summer escape

Spacious rooms with all the amenities. Very clean; however the mattresses need replacing on our room. All dipped to one side and you could hear springs as you moved. The rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant, the pool area was very nice and there was a good assortment of food at breakfast. Also, only a 5 minute walk to the white sand beach.

Le Ville Del Lido is a relaxing retreat within walking distance of the plaza and bus station. The grounds are spacious and well cared for. The rooms are clean and well appointed.

We were delighted with this hotel. Photos online do not do justice to spaciousness and cleanliness of rooms - in modern block but decorated in Venetian style. 2 mins walk from beach, 3 mins from restaurants and yet in quiet spot.

Comfortable and staff very helpful, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Recommend hiring their bikes to explore Lido. Might be helpful to know that it is a 10-15min walk to the water taxi/bus.

We loved our stay here -- from the decor to the beach to the breakfast (included) that was served in our room. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. Getting to Venice was simple on the water bus (EUR 7.50 a person round trip) but I would have loved to explore the island of Lido as well, if we'd had more time.

Only down point was the accomodation does not supply enough comfortable chairs to sit outdoors for a family. Also we had to bring in our chairs at night as cheeky customers were pinching them! Very annoying.

Had a most relaxing, enjoyable and refreshing holiday at the Lido. The vaporetto journey from the airport was an excellent way to begin the holiday. At the hotel staff made us feel welcome immediately and showed us to a very well equipped, spacious apartment with great air-conditioning. Pool and private garden were very well maintained and the whole hotel area was clean and quiet. It was a short stroll to the vaporetto stands on Lido and then a ten minute journey to the centre of Venice. We spent most days sightseeing in Venice before returning to the apartment to enjoy a relaxing read and a welcome swim. We hired a bike from the hotel and cycled round the whole island, a great way to appreciate the scenery. Overall, we had a fabulous time.

Our two bedroom apartment was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Having two bathrooms and WiFi in our living room was an added bonus! The continental breakfast was plentiful and our children made good use of the pool.
I would recommend bringing your own hairdryer though, as the hotel's was mostly noise and little air.
The hotel is right across from the beach and a 10 minute stroll to the Vaperetto along a restaurant and gelato lined street.

It was very unpleasant stay. Staff was rude and charged us on broken glass which was there. Owner was very rude and yelling at us. Receptionist agreed upon free breakfast and did not give us, it is far out from Venice city center.

Charming of one doesn't mind commute.
We loved it here. Although slightly out of the way (one must include 7.50 x 2 euro ferry cost into the budget every day) on the 'Long Island' Nido, the staff was superb, accommodations lovely, much contrast to the very run down hotels on the mainland of Venice. If you don't mind the commute, they certainly make it up by the warmth of the people and welcoming facilities.

Stayed the last week in Oct 2015 as a family of four in an apartment in the reception block. I cannot fault the staff or apartment, lovely position, with decor that reminds you are in Italy! Hire a bike from reception and cycle round the island, on all but the main road cyclists and predestrians are treated as equals to the car. Great holiday.

Great all suites hotel. Stayed w/ 2 adult children in 2 bdrm, 2 bath suite which included kitchenette, dining table & pull-out sofa. Hotel offers nice spread for included breakfast. The only draw back were the beds-like all the hotels we have tried in the Venice area, the beds were pretty hard. But other than that, the front desk staff were friendly & efficient. Hotel is located on the backside of Lido from the vaporetto dock, about a 10 minute walk. Currently, there is water line construction along the main street of Lido.

Stayed for a week during October. Apartment was clean and very comfortable. Lido Island great place to stay to escape the Venice crowds. Too cold to use the pool, but facilities are really good for those visiting in the summer months. Staff were excellent, even provided a bottle of bubbly on arrival, which was a lovely touch.

The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the SME dock and town centre and also on the V bus route. We walked mostly taking the back roads. The boat to St. Mark's Square was about 15 minutes. The hotel is on the other side of the road to the beach which is extensive. The hotel has a nice pool with paddling pool in grassed area and plenty of sun beds.

We really enjoyed our stay in July. The hotel was clean and bright. We had TWO balcony views that we were not expecting, which was awesome! The included breakfast had lots of choices for my picky family. Overall, the hotel is well worth it. However, the WiFi was spotty at best. Weak signals or could not even connect.

I stayed here for 4 days with my husband and two teenage daughters. Well positioned for the shops and restaurants and couldn't get any closer to the beach!
My daughters would say the best thing about the holiday was the fab swimming pool with the whirlpool jets!!

We could not have been happier at the Le Ville Del Lido. This hotel was simply magnificent. Nestled away in a residential part of the Lido, the hotel comprises several buildings surrounding a large courtyard with a large pool and separate spa. The rooms are large and very spacious. Depending on whether you get a upper even room or a ground level room, the room also includes a garden level patio or a rooftop terrace, perfect for having an in-room breakfast. The bathrooms are typical European .... functional but design-challenged based. And, the beds and pillows could have been a bit softer but serviceable. Nevertheless, a great place to stay.

This place is an easy water bus ride away from Venice. We highly recommend getting the 24 hour to 72 hour water bus passes depending on how long you stay, especially if you can get the student discount.

It is cheap because you have to take a ferry to get to it. The ferry was 30euro each way for a small fiat and 2 passengers. The exterior of the property was nice but the inside was very dated.

Great hotel in a lovely, quiet location. The rooms were spotless and spacious. Public transport was nearby. On the whole the staff were very good, especially the ladies in the breakfast room. The exception was a young man on Reception who thought it was OK to smoke in the door way and filling the area with smoke despite the no smoking notices. He was also curt, presumably because we interrupted his smoking. That said, the hotel met all our expectations and we would happily go there again.

Le ville de Lido was a great place to stay, would highly recommend it. lovely comfortable bed. The room was really clean [and I have high standards] The hotel is easy walking distance from the water bus.You need a good pair of trainers for walking in Venice as its quite tiring .Burrano is well worth a visit but we were disappointed with Murrano We hired bikes on the 1st day which was really enjoyable. When eating out watch out for extra charges on the bill.
