Excellent spot to stay on lido. Lido is just far from the mainland Venice island. There is alot of water buses that take you out there and then back to the mainland. Good spot to stay for 1-3 days.

We have used this hotel before and it is still clean and friendly with helpful and courteous staff. The room and bathroom were an adequate size for a 4 night stay. Breakfast was ok, could be a little better but ok.
Great location for amenities. Can be a little noisy outside early in the morning but that is the pay off for the great location. At check in, we were hit with a furnace of heat and the room was similarly far too hot. However, the heating controls were easily turned off in the room and we got by just fine off the residual heat from the common areas. When we mentioned this at reception there was a noticeable drop in excessive heating the next day which was nice that they listened.
We would use this hotel again.

I liked the flare of the hotel, it has a unique venetian vibe.
Transport by vaporetto is 5mn away.
I found the first floor a little noisy in the morning though.
Overall, this exceeded my expectations.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Hotel Boulevard Lido in Venice for three nights, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel had several positive aspects that made my stay enjoyable.

First and foremost, the staff at Hotel Boulevard Lido were incredibly friendly and accommodating. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel welcome and assisted me with any queries or requests I had throughout my stay.

The room size was impressive, providing ample space to move around comfortably. The cleanliness of the room was also top-notch, with housekeeping maintaining a high standard throughout my stay. I appreciated coming back to a neat and tidy room each day.

The hotel's location was a definite advantage, particularly for those looking for convenient transport options. It was situated close to various transport links, making it easy to explore Venice and its surrounding areas. This proximity to transportation hubs was a significant convenience during my stay.

Regarding breakfast, while there were plenty of cold options available, such as cold meats, cheeses, croissants, muffins, and cakes, I did encounter a minor issue with the bacon and chopped-up hot dog sausages being cold, even at the start of the service. This was a slight disappointment, as I had hoped for a warm and satisfying breakfast. However, the availability of other cold options partially compensated for this.

I would highly recommend Le Boulevard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean upon arrival and was cleaned everyday by housekeeping. The breakfast was the usual food you expect and catered for all tastes and the location was easy to find, close to nice places to eat and drink and convenient for transport into Venice. Lido felt like to perfect place to stay for a trip to Venice as it wasn't as hectic as Venice itself, it was quiet but was still very easy to commute into Venice for sightseeing as well as having the added bonus of a beach within walking distance of the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Great location and friendly staff. Spotlessly clean.
Very focused on preventing the spread of Covid, nice to see everyone using masks around the lobby and corridors.
Breakfast utensils are all securely wrapped.
Air con didn’t seem to work and whilst things like the air con, heating controls , fittings etc are dated, you can tell they were all high quality in their day. The bathroom is fine but the shower cubicle is far too small. Overall the room was of a good size and the positives far out-way the negatives. Breakfast was very good and overall very fair value. Would use this hotel again.

Friendly and helpful staff- Simone is the best and Eric the bartender/barista is awesome too. Rooms are nice- with heated towel rack in the bathroom, along with a bathtub with sliding doors and a large sink. In-room tea was a bonus. Breakfast included in my room rate was also really tasty with a good selection.

Best of all, I think, is location. It’s really close to the Lido vaporetto/water taxi stop and you can go directly (no transfer needed) to the Santa Lucia train station and the bus terminal, San Marco, Accademia and Rialto.

I think there is a separate ferry to the airport as well. Could not recommend the hotel more as it is convenient and value for money.

The room was Ok, 2single beds,bathroom Ok.
From the bathroom window people from the building accross the road can see you directly or through the (extremely) big mirror.
Not a lot of room in the bathroom to put your stuff.Not even one shelf inside the shower cabin.
Overall the room was clean.
Breakfast was Ok, not bad not super.
I would recommend it to a friend and I would go back again.

We thought this hotel was great- more expensive than what I’m used to paying, but not if you compare to Venice prices! The place was very clean, the hotel in a great location, the service very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast very filling. The hotel could be renovated, but in some ways I hope it won’t be as it has a lot of charm. I would stay here again!

If you’re doing a cost comparison, factor in you will need to pay for a water taxi to get to the hotel. The water taxis run consistently and are readily available.

I love the location, just a few minutes vaporetto ride to San Marcos square. There is a very convenient supermarket next door. Breakfast is good and staff were so kind to give me an upgrade for my birthday. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach.

Value for money hotel. A little tired in places but it would appear some renovation taking place at the moment. We stayed in a room next to a store room adjacent to the lift. One night was very windy and there was a constant 'banging' of a heavy door, it sounded like it was in our room. Three calls to reception and two visits the problem was not resolved. At 1.40am I was offered a room change. Having already lost 1/2 a nights sleep and the fact that somehow my wife was asleep I decided against it. The problem was a broken frame to a metal door giving access to the roof. I asked for a refund of one night? No one seemed interested until I wrote a mid stay review. Then the hotel decided to give a refund, I was told by a staff member \"we can't control the wind\" to which my response was \" maybe not, but you can control the maintenance of the building\". We had a couple of drinks (4 in total) at the bar during our stay and to our surprise when we checked out we were told that the drinks were on the house. Breakfast was average and the dining room a little chaotic, tables not cleared etc. To sum up, a reasonable place to stay. We would stay again but not in room 435!

Amazing location, right next to the water bus stop and on a main road full of restaurants. Close to the beach too. room was big, plenty of space, maid was excellent in cleaning. Breakfast wasn’t up to my personal standard but it was good variety of food. Double bed is single beds pushed together resulting in falling down the middle at times which was unpleasant. Overall brilliant base for adventures in venice!

nice hotel.. ten minute walk to the beach. Next to bank and shop which is handy to stock up your room as drinks from the local shops are expensive. Lots of restaurants but be aware they charge you 2 euros per person to eat in them.
Close to the water bus station so makes it easier to travel. would recommend the 48hr bus tickets and travel around yourself instead of booking guided tours to Murano etc.
Overall great hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. However no entertainment in hotel so you will need to go out.

The hotel was clean and well looked after although a bit dated. The service we received was excellent and the room was spacious, comfortable and airy. The Le Boulevard is an excellent hotel. It is located on Santa Maria Elisabetta, the main street on the Lido which makes it very convenient for shops, restaurants, vaparettos and gelaterias! The hotel itself is very well presented and rooms are comfortable and clean. Hotel reception staff were excellent. Due to flight times we arrived at the hotel before check-in time. However, this was not an issue - our rooms were ready which was an added bonus for us.

Overall experience was good. Hotel and room had a dated look, with unique decor. Added to the charm of the experience.
We had to check in late , past midnight as we reached Venice late. Hotel had front desk attendance round the clock. Staff speak adequate English. Overall very helpful and friendly.

This hotel has an awesome atmosphere. Staying there was comfortable, the ambiance felt like you were going to run into a movie star or famous musician any second.
Simon, the front desk person, went out of his way to accommodate our bicycles while we spent time in other Venetian Islands.
In short, it felt safe, clean, centrally located, reasonably priced and breakfast was good. In addition, it is close to the beach AND, as opposed to several other hotels in the area, they take credit cards.

Quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of Venice proper. I would definitely stay at the Boulevard again. The wifi was good in our standard room and plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast.

Had a great stay at Le Boulevard. Slept well. Great breakfast. Good service. Excellent location. Very close to the boat station; just a short vaparetto ride to Piazza San Marco and the historic sites of Venice. Several restaurants and bars to choose from just outside the hotel. Staying on Lido allowed us to get away from the crowds and have relaxing evenings on the island, as well as take in the beautiful Lido Beach. Would definitely stay there again.

Smooth check in, but I was surprised that they sent me a porter to show me my room (I had a backpack, so I kindly offered that I do not need this service). Breakfast is plenty but the same food during my 4-night stay. Hotel located close to vaporetto station and the beach, next to a supermarket and along a restaurant-lined street.

Close to waterbus and beach

Very accessible hotel. Take the Alilaguna waterbus from the airport to Lido and less than 5mins walking to the hotel. Simple check in, no hassle. Breakfast was 5 Euro each for an unlimited buffet:bacon, scrambled eggs,mini sausages,pasties, fruit salad, yoghurt etc. Safety deposit box and air con in the room. Hot water consistent throughout the day.

Some called it old but I prefer to say the hotel has character, friendly staff, convenient location and away from the bustle, highly recommended.

2.5 - 3 star

Coming straight from a four star hotel in Amsterdam this hotel felt more like a three star rating (max). That was mainly referring to the room's furniture, finishes and interior design/decor.
But on the plus side; the room was big, the free breakfast was great and the location on Lido island was perfect.
And if you want a baby cot remember to request it weeks in advance when you book.

Great!!!

It was great! Close to the ferry station, beach and the San Marco (within 15 min by ferry).
Staffs were kind and helpful. Great experience in Lido :)
I strongly recommend you le boulevard hotel.
