Did not have a vehicle for parking. We did not participate in the breakfast. The room was clean, bed and pillows comfortable. A coffee maker in each room would be appreciated. Our room had a bathtub without a shower curtain, which made it difficult to have a shower. A suggestion would be to install a shower curtain. The staff was friendly and check in/out was efficient. Thank you

Absolutely lovely place, a hidden gem!
Stayed here with a friend for 4 days and we loved it! Its close to Lido beach, to vaparetto water taxi station, lots of shops and cafes, grocery stores and more.
All personnel at the hotel were nice and helpful, our room was clean without any issues.
I would come back!
And yes, their breakfast was good too- variety to choose from.

I stayed three nights with my mom at this hotel. I loved the look of hotel and it’s front porch for relaxation, cleanliness, and closeness to the beach and water taxi transportation.The breakfast was sufficient. The room was big enough with classic furniture, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect, surprisingly it even had a Bidet. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants peace and quiet, and convenience.

It’s a bit of an odd old jewel, has definitely seen better days, but had a charm that I liked with nice staff. They had bikes we used to ride around Lido which was a lot of fun. The outdoor area was lush and pretty.

Great, in a very quite street, near public transportation (\"vaporeto\") for Venice, Close to the beach (free beach is now 700 meters, City changed the free entrance, it was less than 100 m from the hotel until this year) . Free and safe parking. Love it!

Lovely hotel, excellent location for boats to venice. Lovely cafes and restaurants near. Only bad thing was check out wasnt until midday but the cleaner burst into my room at 8am whilst i was getting dressed! Very annoyed i went to complain to reveption - one didn't understand and the other didnt care at all! Not nice to happen on out last day!

The property decor in very in fitting with Italian decor, clean and tidy. Staff extremely friendly Unfortunately we did not get off to a good start as our room was not ready when we arrived, we went away and came back an hour later and room still not available as they had had a football team in who were enjoying lunch in the restaurateur. Eventually we were given a room at 3.15 but this put a dampener on out first day as we were exhausted at an early start and have this delay in our room left us wasting the first day of sightseeing due to this oversight when the room is advertised as being made available for us from 2pm. Breakfast was thin on the ground some days and quality of food available variable

Missing hospitality !

My husband checked in on 13/05, reaching after a long journey with three changes, starting from Jaipur. His experience:

Nice location, easy access. The room was smaller than expected, but I slept off immdiately.

The breakfast had variety and was sufficient. The lady sensed my constraint of being a vegetarian and got me some sliced cucumber and tomato, unasked. I was touched !

The room was small. The attached picture shows the place for luggage. The slope in the roof is a hindrance to open the suitcase, one can not even stand straight. This is not what I expected while paying about 125 Euro a night.

Having travelled widely in Italy, this was my worst experience of the accommodation.

Worse: I took a drink from the minibar. The empty bottle was not removed for two (or was it 3) days, nor was the minibar refilled. So much for hospitality.

On mentioning this at check out, I was told:
(i)This was the only room available on these rates. Hotels.com description was different. Other colleagues had booked at comparable rates and had better rooms.
(ii)I should have complained earlier. Do they cater to guests only if they complaint? Is this their sense of hospitality?
(iii)“Sir, we will not charge you for the usage from the minibar”. The gift of two small bottles of wine was probably her expression of apology. It amused me.

In spite of nice location and promixity to Gran Viale SME and waterbus station, the attitude needs to improve. Not recommended.

The hotel is very close to the center, restaurants and the ferry station. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the mattress. I wasn't able to sleep on it since the mattress seems to be very old and uneven. So my body had a hard time relaxing on it. What I ended doing was to sleep on the floor. If it wasn't for the bed, this would have been a perfect hotel. I only stayed at the hotel one night and on my way out I spoke to the guy at the front desk about the mattress situation and he asked someone to go and check and asked me why i didn't call that he would have moved me to another room... The reason I didn't do it, because It was already late and I dignity want to pack at 2am to move to another room and have the chance of getting the same mattress situation.

Amazing !

Such a BEAUTIFUL hotel! Staff was super accommodating, helpful, and very nice. I can't wait to go back and stay there again. Rooms were breath taking-the decor was superb! Gorgeous for a boudoir photoshoot! (Note to photographers!)
Breakfast was amazing-delicious , even the dishes and silver ware were pretty!
Hotel is highly recommended by me.
It's also centrally located, near everything . Love this place.

convenient and clean hotel

Where the hotel was located, i thought it was great and easy access to get to the ferry to go into central Venice. It was only a 5 min walk. We were really happy that we stayed in the lido because we got the chance to see the Island, there was great local restaurants where sometimes we would eat here before going to central Venice as it was much cheaper. The staff in the hotel were very friendly, the room was just what we needed,the only thing i didn't like was it wasn't really a double bed, it was 2 single beds pushed together. Thats my only criticism. Other than that, i really do recommend this hotel.

Brilliant start toour Venice holiday.

We arrived on the Lido directly from the airport by private water taxi which Fabio at the Biasuttii had kindly arranged for us.
We had a short walk to the Biuasutti and were welcomed by the lovely Christina.
We were shown to our deluxe room which featured a gorgeous queen sized bed,beautiful fittings and a small balcony with a lovely view.
The atmosphere at Biasutti is relaxed and welcoming .
We wouldn't hesitate to return to this great hotel.

We booked 2 rooms. One was in the main hotel and was clean, free wifi, comfy bed. Room was very hot but over all pretty good. My parents had this room. The old fashioned decor suited the hotel and the area so this didn't bother us.

The other room was terrible.... In a separate part of the hotel where the wifi doesn't reach, 2 beds pushed together created a big dip which was very uncomfortable to sleep in resulting in us sleeping at opposite ends of the bed on our 'romantic' get away. The room was tired, dark and we had a variety of large creepy crawlies stay with us. We thought we would try out the jacuzzi in the bathroom as that looked like a treat.... Very loud, dirty and the circles round the jets fell off when trying to use.... Just switched it off and went to sleep at our opposite ends of the bed.

We did have free, wine, water and biscuits on arrival which was nice.

Breakfast was nice, reasonable choice available.

For 2 rooms priced at the same rate.... We did not get the same treatment at all.

The hotel is in a great location to access both lido beach and the water buses to main areas of Venice. Staff were friendly and the hotel was clean. My only criticism was that the bed in our queen double room was extremely uncomfortable. The mattress was rock solid. Apart from this issue it was a fantastic stay.

I've stayed in many motels / hotels worldwide in my nearly 60 years on this earth (including Best Western), and I can unequivocally state that the Venice Biasutti Hotel is, without question, the worst.

The minuscule ('economy') room provided was not depicted on the website, and were we surprised on seeing it.

The room was in significant disrepair
(unclean, broken cabinet doors, fixtures, burned out light bulbs, switches not working, window handles / mechanisms poorly mounted, fittings / hardware mismatched, inadequate water pressure, room / towels smelled unclean, the Wi-Fi signal was so weak it would not work in our room, and only worked on the ground floor - others were also overheard complaining about it)

No free breakfast was provided. We were charged 30 Euro for a single breakfast always provided for free in the US (at any Best Western)

The bathroom was inadequately stocked / in disrepair (folding shower doors did not mesh / meet as designed, the tissue holder would fall from the defective wall mount, the bidet was crammed between the sink and the shower in a manner that made it essentially useless, the shower water temperature vacillated without warning, and though two people we were provided but one cup to share)

The 'clean' towels / linens smelled bad. An extremely malodorous supply / linen room was accidentally discovered only two doors away from our room. Ajar and unlocked, one day I opened it and it reeked of fecal matter. Soiled linen was seen in the same room as the 'clean' linen (I guess that explained the smell of our towels, etc.)

An ice machine is not available as stated on every floor (it is was only available to us, on request, at the downstairs bar)

We were not allowed to enjoy the attractive garden / lounge / common areas (the only features provided as pictured) without pressure to purchase the hotel's food or drink (and were expressly prohibited by signs posted from providing our own)

The staff was disingenuously surprised, unapologetic, unconcerned, and disinterested in resolving any of the issues broached. Their responses were typically we're full and you have an 'economy' room (ergo nothing will be done, nor was any problem resolution even attempted, so we stopped asking).

At each interaction, front desk staff / managers were either terse, rude or dismissive. Early one morning, two of the male (managers?) were witnessed, by me, in a heated argument, spewing profanities without a care that I was standing there awaiting assistance (and had no qualms about keeping me waiting as they battled, following which they were unresponsive to my simple request for ice)

Realizing we were in an untenable situation, during the remainder of our stay, and attempting to keep a low profile just to get through this intolerable experience, my wife and I were repeatedly treated as unwanted / second class citizens until our departure.

Perhaps the treatment was because we are American or maybe it was because we unknowingly booked an 'economy' room. In either case, it matters not, the room and the experience were both unacceptable, and should not be experienced by anyone, period...

A formal apology and a full refund (neither of which is likely, nor expected) would even begin to mitigate this most negative 5 night experience.

The trust of Best Western's standing for good value, good quality and good service has been severely damaged.

It is in the best interests of others to stay anywhere but the Venice Biasutti Hotel...

Quiet neighborhood to escape the Venice crowds

This hotel was the starting location of a bike tour across Italy (Venice to Pisa). A friend and I needed a room ahead of the trip and so we decided to stay here to make things easier. We ended up with a unique room setup that worked perfectly for two gals who don't know each other well. The room had two entrances, which means it could be rented as a big room with two twin beds, or as two separate rooms with the dividing wall engaged. It has two bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub/shower combo. As with many hotels in Europe the tub/shower combination tends to lead to lots of shower water on the floor rather than in the tub. -Not a big deal, just ask for an extra towel to mop up afterward. Breakfast at the hotel was top notch and the location on Lido was great. The hotel staff was very helpful and they had a great sense of humor. It was a nice walk to the beach and a short walk to the Vaparetto stop. This hotel offers a quiet, walkable neighborhood away from the crowds. It was easy to walk to great restaurants in the neighborhood. I would stay here again.

Good Hotel but Unhelpful Staff

Hotel was good. Room was very dark and quiet which made for great sleeping. We did not have the breakfast as it was too expensive at 15 euros each. The hotel is difficult to find as are most hotels in Venice. Took about 15 mins by boat to St. Marks Square. Cost of water taxi is 7.50 euros and runs every 10 mins. The man at the desk was unhelpful, even off hand. He told me there was only one railway station in Venice when there are five so we ended up at the wrong one. Fortunately we had allowed lots of time so did not miss our train.

Safe,secluded & quiet, good location, few letdowns

The room was not ready on time, even though we were 3 hours late for a checkin

The good:
- Pretty friendly staff
- Free parking, wifi and breakfast(satisfactory)
- Great location - 5 min walk from the vaporetto (water taxi). It takes about 20 minutes to get to San Marco square but if it a nice day, it is a very pleasant ride in the lagoon - I enjoyed this a lot. It is close to the main street on Lido with a few restaurants and shops and the beach, and yet tucked away in a nice street so it is quiet and quaint.
- TV - flatscreen with a USB port

The Bad:
- The bed is not a double bed, it is 2 single beds pushed together
- The fridge is small, does not work if you are not in the room and the cable is short
- During the stay we had a birthday, but no happy birthday wish, a free drink or anything really which was really disappointing
- The wifi is free but it is very weak on the third floor
- The safe is very small, they actually give you a lock if you ask for it is just a small hole in the wall with a key so you are stuck carrying a key with you
- The room is strange, it is a converted house, there are mosquitos and spiders around, shower is a bath with a strangely located place for the shower. Overall satisfied but think a 4 star hotel could do a bit better.

Having said the good and the bad. My experience is that the hotels in Italy do have a slightly lower standard so this one I would recommend although they have some things to do to catch up to normal hotel standards.

Very close to a fabulous beach, simply perfect, restaurants in the vicinity were excellent, water buses and taxis easily accessible. The hotel and staff went that extra mile to make sure your stay was fabulous. Look out for Christina she is one of the most wonderful people on the planet, beautiful, ladylike a typical venetian.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel!

The good:
Hotel staff were courteous and helpful.
There is free parking across the street.
There's a nice veranda for late night drinks.
The bad:
free WiFi was painfully slow.
The bed was soft, lumpy and painfully uncomfortable.
The shower was almost impossible to use. It varied between 2 temperatures, freezing cold and remove skin. The shower also isn't enclosed by anything other than a plastic curtain, meaning water can get everywhere. It wasn't a nice bathroom at all!
There were no shelves in the wardrobe. :-o
There was only one non-Italian language TV channel, and that was a German cooking channel.
I've no idea how this place could have possibly got a 4 star rating. Perhaps previous reviewers simply don't have very high standards.

It's on the Lido beach side of Venice, and I would recommend getting the water transit pass (40 euros for 3 days, less if you're under 29), so you can just hop on and off the vaperetto to St Mark's or anywhere else, unlimited, including your return trip to the mainland. The hotel is an easy walk from the vaperetto stop. Just turn right as you exit the station, walk a few blocks to Dandolo, and go left a few blocks. The hotel itself is beautiful inside and out. It's a short walk to the beach (Adriatic sea). We had a triple room, 3 single beds as is typical in Europe, a nice private bath. Staff was very friendly, all spoke English. The free buffet breakfast was superb. You can make your own cappuccinos and help yourself to a huge array of meats, cheese, fresh fruit, cereal, pastries, quiche, eggs, etc. I have stayed in Venice proper before, and never received the value for the money spent at this hotel. For us it was the best of both worlds - historic Venice, and a beach vacation all in one.

Quiet,peaceful lovely old worldly Hotel

It was like going back into the 70's. I would suggest taking a hairdryer as the one in the bathroom is what was very up to date in it's time, safe to have in a bathroom, but I'd forgotten how they get to hot to hold when you have it on for a while. Internet is not free in your room, but in this instance it did not worry us. Not sure if you sit in Reception if you get free internet, but there is a corner where there is a computer for guest to use. The staff where very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the breakfast. TERRIBLE- you left with a bad taste in your mouth and the coffee was never hot. We had to go out to have a coffee to take the taste away. I had read in a review before that it was bad, but to then find out you pay €15 each person per day, has shocked me to make comment. Apart from breakfast we really enjoyed our stay, but hesitate to recommend to a friend. If the hotel could review its breakfast We would stay there again.

Tired in places but fab location

My cousin and I visited Venice on a very sunny weekend in June. We felt this hotel and it's location offered us a good balance between sightseeing around Venice and the lagoon islands with time to relax on the beach and catch some of the glorious sunshine. The hotel is undergoing update so where old decor still evident the place is tired. Once complete it will be fabulous. The breakfast is continental style and okay, you can even treat yourself to a glass of bubbly. If that's not to your taste, there's an excellent pattiserie round the corner selling fresh baked criossants, etc. There's free wifi in the hotel and they'll let you have a bike for an hour for free if you fancy a bit of an explore. The location is the real value of this hotel. It's on the lido which has a nice resort feel and more affordable places to eat and drink, yet only a short waterbus ride to all the main areas of venice itself. The hotel is on a quiet residential street a short walk between the waterbus / restaurants / bars and the beach. The hotel rents beach cabins with sunbeds but you can just sit on a towel next to the water for free if you choose.

Bad experience -- DO NOT BOOK!!

Awful stay. We booked their standard room and I had never seen a room so poorly finished in a 4 star hotel. I went to see the manager to tell him that we wanted to leave, that our room was unacceptable for the star grading of his establishment and he refused but offered to upgrade us to a suite the following day as the hotel was all booked the night we arrived. I was ready to walk out and lose our 4 prepaid nights did he not offer this. I would not recommend this hotel at all and will never return. Booking there was a mistake.

Great breakfast nice rooms, poor wifi no aircon!

I stayed here for two nights in the middle of May.

The hotel is very close to the Lido aerobus stop (10mins walk), and is located in a quiet street that is very close to the main street where all the restaurants are.

The hotel is old fashioned, but clean. The breakfast that is provided is excellent. Wifi is not reliable and drops out intermittently. The real (negative) kicker for my stay was that the airconditioning in our room was not working for the team days we were there (temperatures were mid to high 20s so room was extremely stuffy). I approached the reception multiple times about the issue. First time i was told that the airconditioner WAS working, but it just took a while to start up. The next day they admitted that the airconditioning was broken, for the entire level, but it would be fixed that day. Of course, it wasn't. Trying to sleep in a stuffy room (where the windows could not be opened if you didn't want gigantic bugs flying in - there was no fly-net) made for a very unpleasant sleep.

Generally, reception was friendly and helpful, except for one gentleman who had really bad attitude and really didn't care about the aircondition and the comfort of their guests.

We stayed here two nights. It was about a ten minute bus ride from the train station which was the easy part but a bit out of the way and a challenge to find walking from the bus stop the first time. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were small and a bit dated but fine for a couple of days. A basic breakfast was included which was a bonus. Well priced basic comfort.

Loved Lido and this beautiful quaint hotel. We had this funky 5-person room but just added to the charm. Short walk to wonderful beach.Better and cheaper food than Venice. Would love to go back and stay longer.

Very nice and quite hotel

Our stay was very pleasant. Hotel was very clean and nice. The decor was high class. The hotel is located in a remote island of Lido and is about 15 minutes walk from the nearest waterbus. The neighborhood is very quite and there are plenty of good restaurants close to the hotel. The only thing that we did not like was the bathtub. The bathtub has a telephone shower but no provision for shower curtains. So, if you have to take a shower, you have to sit down in the tub and use the telephone handheld shower so as not to splash the water all over the bathroom. This may seem trivial but was a major pain for all of us.

We where very dissapointed in this hotel, we were under the impression that is was close to the train station and it ended up being over an hour on thd water taxi. We also booked this hotel because it had an elevator and it was not working when we arrived and the hotel still did not have it fixed when we left. It didn't seem like fixing it was not a priority. We were traveling with luggage and people who were elderly and with bad knees. Very inconvenient. We will not book this hotel again.

We loved this hotel. It was very convenient to Lido Beach and the surrounding area. Short distance from the water Taxi and walking distance to the beach and variety of restaurants. Hotel is immaculate and service is great. Rooms were very comfortable and had all of the amenities.

we stayed at this hotel for 7 days and we took the\"vaporetto\" to Venice every day for sightseeing the many palazzi and museums.It was comforting after the hussle and crowds to come back to the stylish Lido with its many trees lined r
oads,long sandy beach and plenty of bars,and restaurants.
We found the staff extremely helpful,booked two tickets for a concert and answered all queries promptly.
The girls in the breakfast room were excellent in their politeness and service.Thank you.

Nice hotel

This hotel is located on Lido island, which is one of the islands in Venice. It is the last stop on water bus #1. It takes an hour to go from this hotel to the train station on this #1 water bus.
The hotel is tucked in a very quiet residential neighborhood. The decor is old style I think French. The room we had was very small. The bathroom was tiny. We didn't really spend much time at the hotel other than just sleeping. Staff is OK.
It is close to the water bus stop, walking distance. Close to a main street that has shops and restaurants. They do have a restaurant at the hotel, but we didn't eat there at all. So can't comment.
Wifi is good too.

Lovely hotel, helpful staff, very clean, comfy bed

Great hotel! Only complaint is that we decided to get breakfast at the hotel one day (this was 15 euros extra if not included in your stay) and all I could eat was thr little bread rolls and slices of cheese, the rest, to me wasn't edible (and I'm not a fussy eater).

Apart from that, great room, very clean! Bed and bedding was so comfy! Lovely!

A cheaper option than staying in central Venice

We chose this hotel because everything of a similar standard in the centre was very expensive, and this seemed to be a reasonable, comfortable option. We were not dissapointed. Like many Best Westerns, it was a bit old fashiioned and eccentric, but I like that. The room was a bit small for the vast bed, but ok because we were only using it to sleep. It had a great painted bedstead and a psychadelically tiled bathroom, both of which made us smile. It was only a 5 minute walk to the vaporetto stop, and a short ride into central Venice on very frequent boats - it also has the advantage of a much faster service to the Piazzale Roma, where the airport bus leaves from.

Clean hotel, friendly staff, terrible beds

The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained, the staff were friendly and helpful however it was one of the worst few nights sleep we have ever had. The bed was extremely hard and the pillows were extremely flat and uncomfortable. We had to ask specifically for different pillows and even those wernt brilliant. The breakfast was extremely limited and the things that they did have was either cold or not very nice. The hotel was located close to the beach however there wasn't much else to do and Lido was extremely quiet. Over all the week was okay but we wouldn't go back

Worst hotel ever, avoid at all costs

The hotel was 2 star at best was dirty stained carpets scum in the shower rotten windows that where breezy, breakfast was poor at best. This hotel was bad in every was and if I had the money I would have walked out and not stayed at all. I have stayed in hostels and motels when traveling and had better ones than this... In the grand old days in its day I am sure it was nice, but don't stay hear. I will put the rating on trip advisor too so more people don't book this. However location was ok in lido, ne'er port and public beach

GOOD SIZE FAMILY SUITE.DID NOT EXPECT 3 SEPARATE BEDROOMS SO THIS WAS A NICE SURPRISE. HOTEL STAFF
