Chef Mimi was fab-o. The room had a heated towel rack in tbe bathroom, which was priceless in the Venetian humidity. We needed no alarm clock because of the rooster next door, who did not crow until an agreeable hour. The lady behind the front desk was genuinely friendly and the neighborhood was charming. The bed sloped downwards toward the headboard and that was about our only trouble. I'definitely stay tjere again. The breakfasts were fabulous.

The place is not bad but we paid for superior room but they give to us just basic room and there had a ants on the floor a lot,was disappointing and i have to ask to change the room and they change us to superior room which we had booked,but i didn’t mention it just to not to be rude but was wasn’t nice them to take the customers for a dump

Wow! This place is incredible, take the 5.1 line of the vaporetto and the bus and you’re here. It’s super quiet and relaxing. Love how beautiful and thoughtful to the guest this is. I’m American and I’ve never seen any hotel I’ve been to have a towel warmer. You won’t regret this stay if you like peace and quiet.

What a lovely little hotel - a very warm welcome on arrival, clean and cool room and a delicious breakfast. It’s also a great location with short bus or walk to the main Vaparetto terminal and a 5 minute walk to the Lido beach. Would highly recommend.

The cleaness is remarkable. Supportive and dedicated staff, Iryne gave us good touristic advises. Rich breakfast. Quiet location and very easy to access from the Ferry station. Direct ferry to Venice San Marco, to Santa Lucia railways station.i would highly recommend it for future stays.

We had a wonderful week at Villa Stella using it as a base to explore Lido, Venice and the surrounding islands. Stella and all the staff (Luca & Masood) are extremely welcoming and super friendly. The hotel is in a great location, 5/10 minutes walk from the beach, a little bit further for the free public beach but not a crazy distance. The local bus stop is a minutes walk away, restaurants and local shops are close by too. The hotel is very picturesque. The bistro at the hotel was not operating when we stayed and after breakfast you have to get food/drink elsewhere but being so close to shops etc is not a problem. Recommended!!!!

My husband and I stayed at Villa Stella for a casual weekend. The place is nice although rooms (and bathrooms) are extremely small. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep so it was ok, mattress was comfy although very short!

The villa itself is quaint, and is a short walk to the Venice convention center where my meeting was held. This is not like an American hotel with everything in one room. the bathroom was across the hall in the stairway, but it was very clean.

What a unique place! An old character home modernized just enough! Friendly staff and the breakfast was just great with a truly personal touch! So nice to stay in Lido and visit Venice when you want. I thought this would be an issue but it was awesome. Every time we had enough of the hustle and bustle and crowds of Venice we’d head back “home” to Lido. Don’t forget to buy the boat pass for how many days required as it’s the simplest and cheapest way to travel back and forth.

Perfect, amazing breakfast, on point service. Only problem for us was sleeping as it was not a double bed but instead 2 singles put together. Sleeping with a baby was kind of a nightmare but that's just our fault for not going for a superior room :)

Villa was amazing as it was our honeymoon the setting was romantic and relaxing. The room was air conditioned which was a plus. The nautical theme of the room was inline with the feel of the local area. The hotel was very eye catching inside. And the staff were beyond helpful. Such a lovely place to stay. Will recommend to many of my friends. 15 min walk to beach or main shopping 4 mins by bus. Good eateries around so you won't starve

Relax in Lido
We had a great time in the relaxing area of Lido. It was nice to break away from the crowds in Venice. It was also easily accessible by brief bus ride to the vaporetto station. It was then a 10 minute trip to San Marco. We loved the breakfast and looked forward to the variety and made to order meals. We also enjoyed using the bikes a little bit around Lido.

If I have chance to visit Venice again, this is the first hotel I will book. Although the hotel is quite far from the sightseeing places but it is super convenient to reach. There are boats and buses all 24 h. After jump out from the boat, there are buses every 10 minutes pass in front of this hotel. Along the day, you can cycling to many beaches near by. The hotel has free bicycles for you. The breakfast is super awesome. Small garden make you relax during the meal. The owners are friendly and provide the good information for travelling. Wifi is good. This place is paradise for me.

Really welcoming staff in a lovely hotel. Breakfast was had outside with plenty of choices to eat. Staff will also help with advice on travelling to Venice, restaurants etc. They sell tickets for water taxis and buses that can be used daily and therefore cheaper. I've recommended this hotel to a work colleague already.

Location wise it is a mile from the main ferry point and Lido Central, and there are frequent refuser buses, though for me there wasn't enough nearby restaurant and shop wise. It is a residential area.
I was staying in room 5. Opening the shutters I was overlooked by another part of the hotel. The room was very basic and I found the bed uncomfortable. There was no fridge or kettle or central facilities that could be shared. The decor looked a little tired and old fashioned, the shower head kept falling and hitting me while I was using it.
The nearby beaches are very expensive and only support renting cabins/beach huts. The beach where you could rent a lounger and umbrella were about a mile's walk away.
If a friend said that they had booked here I wouldn't say 'change your hotel' but I wouldn't recommend either. The combo of basic room and location would put me off in future.

We stayed here for 3 nights in the middle of June and found it to be an amazingly comfortable and pleasant hotel to stay in.
The staff were all very kind, friendly and helpful and the breakfasts in the garden were one of the highlights of our stay.

Clean hotel, very good for the price for Venice. Lido is a nice quiet place compared to Venice and though the hotel is a bit of a walk from the boat station the bus takes a couple of minutes.. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and all the staff were friendly and very hospitable. Would recommend for the price.

Great Location, Quiet but within easy reach of Venice and beaches

We enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel greatly. the breakfast was amazing, fresh crepes and espresso everyday! it was a little far from the vaporetto so walking with our luggage was difficult. we took the bus on the way back! it was in reasonable walking distance to the beach though. the staff was helpful and friendly.

Would stay there longer next time
We only staed one night; booked it on hotels.com at last minute because of a cancelled flight by BA. Two adults and three kids; lovely room, very helpful people, fantastic breakfast. The only trouble was there were only 4 beds - we were asked to have our two year old in bed with us, fine in principle but not so good in practice with a wriggly child. Nonetheless, a really good hotel, far better than many higher rated ones.

Wonderful stay on Lido
The people were gracious, friendly, and it was obvious they work to please their guests. The gardens were beautiful and enjoying breakfast on the patio was a real treat. It was nice to get away from the crowds in Venice!

Great location and easy walking distances
Staying in an actual apartment like the locals. Safe neighborhood in the Gothic area. Not the fanciest, but comfortable and clean apartment for the money. This one has an elevator and private bathroom. which are an added bonus.

Wonderful place close to the beach.
It is a little bit like holidays at home. The place is lovely. You feel at home and the owners are helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and the breakfast gives a good start into the day. It is a 8min. walk to the beach and 12min. to the vaporetto to Venice. We would definitely come back to Villa Stella!

This is a great hotel and would definitely recommend it because of the wonderful customer service. It felt just like home and the hotel management was very friendly. Breakfast was very good too. Room was spacious and clean. Located in Lido, its a 30 min ride from Venice but away from hustle bustle of busy streets of Venice. Once you are done with sight seeing in the busy and narrow streets of Venice, it feels really nice to come to a peaceful please to sleep. Bus connects you from the water taxi to the hotel and its only a 5 mins ride. Highly recommended and i will def go back there again if i visit Venice.

Charming family- run hotel
A fantastic hotel with a lovely breakfast including home-made jam and gluten free bread. The room was lovely with a view over trees and rooftops. The staff were friendly and helpful which made the whole stay pleasant. My partner and I were very happy with the hotel and thought it deserved much more than two stars. It was clean, comfortable and charming and there is an outdoor area, surrounded by trees, where it is peaceful to sit. The location is good too. There is a market nearby and it was a relief to return to the calm of the hotel after visiting the centre of Venice (a beautiful 20 minutes by boat) with all the tourists and the summer humidity. It is on the Lido which has beautiful houses and canals. I would definitely recommend this hotel and return whenever I am in Venice. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Wonderfully Pleasant
The rooms are smallish, but the experience was large. Located on Lido Island was really enjoyable. The staff was the best part. They were all so helpful in getting around Venice. We had corresponded with them many times before arriving and found them to be wonderful. If going to Venice, I would consider this hotel. The breakfasts were also wonderful. Not just rolls and coffee.

Great People, Nice Place If you want to be on Lido
Staying on Lido is quiet, but less convenient than being on main islands. Very nice people, great service and breakfast. Really good price. If you want to relax and don't mind spending an extra hour or two each day getting to main sites, then it is great.

Liikkuminen vesibussilla keskustan ja saarten välillä helppoa. Hotellilta sai myös hyvät ohjeet miten rautatieasemalta pääsee helposti perille. Erityisruokavalio huomioitiin aamupalalla hyvin ( toki kerrottu etukäteen asiasta).

It is a perfect, just perfect place to stay during the Film Festival—we wished we had said it before booking almost all nights in Venice. It is a small hotel but very welcoming and clean, 5 min walk from the festival, with breakfast and supportive staff. I was on crutches but even I could manage the walk and their small stairs.
