The location is great for people visiting Disneyland. I do wish the hotel had a restaurant on site. Lastly, I lifted the mattress to check for bed bugs and noticed mold on the mattress (twin bunk bed mattress).. not a ton but definitely there... Mattress needs to be tossed.

Stayed with my teenage daughter feb 2026. Room was old and outdated (obviously did not get a renovated room), the mattresses were thin and too squishy, and since we were on the second floor with the arched window we could not make it dark. After one night of poor sleep we cancelled our stay and went to a different hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful, but this is not the hotel for us. Disappointing after all the good reviews.

Staff were very helpful and courteous. Family suite in Building 1 was comfortable and clean. Great location with reasonably short walk to Disneyland entrance. Only significant disappointment was that my son found pool and splash pad water were not heated enough for him to enjoy. We visited in February and the high temperatures that week were low to mid 70s. And we disagree with their hot tub rules which require adult to actually be in hot tub (with child thru age 14) and not just nearby or has their feet dipped in tub ...even though there is a lifeguard right there! Our son is 11. But overall, would consider staying there again if visiting Disney.

Enjoyed the garden pool. The splash pad water park watwr was very cold. The rooms were spacious but had a few bugs in the bathroom.employees were all friendly. Great location with small children and close to disneyland.

The staff were very friendly and the property was clean. It was an easy walk to the parks and our kids loved the splash pad area. The only disappointment was that our building had no elevator which was tricky with a large stroller. Also, being on the top floor, our room had large sky lights with no window coverings, which meant we were up very early with the sunrise. I would suggest some kind of covering to keep the room adequately dark.

The water park and pool were wonderful for our kids. We had a great time coming back from the Disney and California park for a break in the middle of the day for the kids to go and cool down in the water park. Then we would head back out for a night shift at the parks. It’s a fantastic facility if your looking to be close to Disneyland.

The room we had literally hung over the highway, with a balcony door located inside the closet which let in cold air and extra noise. The room was cheaply decorated and had multiple holes in the walls, the space was pretty small and cramped because all the cheap furniture in the room. The staff skipped over cleaning our room, with two kids, we were overdue and this became an undue inconvenience. When I called for new towels at 2pm, I was told they will get them to us when it’s possible. The bathroom walls were spattered with toothpaste, I think? Lastly, they adhere to a strict checkout time; we were over due by 20 minutes with no less than 5 knocks on the door. Where was that promptness when our room needed to be cleaned or we needed towels. Late checkout is an additional fee. There’s a store on the first floor, coffee maker in the room and a small splash pad for children, don’t expect any additional help.

Just be aware that if you stay on the second floor in their older buildings, there are no curtains on the arched ceiling windows so you won’t be able to sleep in if that’s what you’re looking for. It worked out well for us because we are early risers anyways.

The room was spacious and clean, the staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed the proximity to the parks without feeling like we were on top of Harbour Blvd in a parking lot. It was annoying to have a lifeguard standing so close to the hot tub. I get it’s good to have a lifeguard but it felt like you couldn’t relax with him hovering so close and listening to conversations. Also, if you have a kid under 14 you have to be IN the hot tub. I’m all about parents being responsible but I don’t get why I had to be in the hot tub and couldn’t be 3 feet away in a chair watching my teenagers, especially with a lifeguard right there! For that reason alone I don’t think we would book the HOJO again. It seems like it’s best for families with young children.
