The heating was on in the bedroom, so a tad on the hot side till we turned radiators off and opened windows as far as the safety guards allowed, but this is small beer for an excellently priced and clean hotel under a good brand like Radisson too. The staff were polite and attentive, as were those who worked in the dining room. We shall be staying there again.

Parking was paid for at the hotel, which was on the road. There was a blue badge holder’s parking space on the road, not far from the hotel, too.
The room was large with a low sofa. We chose a king-size bed. It also had a bath on the lower floor, which I requested because of my health issues. It was very clean, had small amenities, and we could drink water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the room.
We bought a half board when we booked. The dinner was either a starter and a main or a main and a dessert. They were delicious. There was a happy hour—two of the same cocktails for £15 in the hotel on the days. The cocktails were lovely. The breakfast had a full selection, all very freshly made and tasty. There was a continental breakfast, too. On Sunday, we could choose breakfast from the buffet as much as we liked, and on Monday, they brought the hot English breakfast to our plates. A drink from the Tochibo machine offered delicious coffee and mocha.
All staff members were very friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Thank you very much to all staff members. Our dogs and we had a pleasant time in the hotel. We hope to come back again.

Check-in was smooth and receptionist friendly. My room was spacious and clean. Had a drink and some tapas in the bar which was enjoyable. Breakfast was good and I liked the teapot size and mugs. Unfortunately on my last night I was late back and my key card stopped working and I had some problems getting hold of reception. Eventually it was sorted and I got into my room. Overall staff were good and I would stay again.

The key issue is the lack of parking. There is no parking at the hotel. The hotel can provide a permit (normally at cost) for on-street parking or there is a safe looking car park 5 mins away which is locked overnight but has no access between 8pm and 8am and is height restricted 2m05cm. I don't believe this is clear until after booking and then only if the small print is studied. Having said that the staff were fantastic and the rooms and breakfast are nice. I did think it was pricey considering how much I paid.

The room was small but pleasant, bed comfortable pillows not, sadly there was no hot water for us on the morning we were up early at 5am left it running called receptionist from room but didn’t answer so I called the hotel the night person answered the call he apologised for not answering before he was doing something he told me to let it run however by this time we started to run late to catch our 6:15 ferry from Dover I explained I had let the shower run since I woke and it was barely warm.

This time we got a room with a bit of a sea view which is great considering the low price we paid for the room. Would definitely recommend.

Staff really helpful and friendly. We arrived early and man on reception sorted out our parking for us; fortunately there were plenty of space’s available on the road outside of the hotel. We checked in later that day. Room was a good size with large bathroom. No bath but lovely rain shower. Tea and coffee provided along with 2 bottles of water. Breakfast was plentiful with choice of fresh fruit, yoghurts, cereals, fruit juices, cheese, meat, bread etc; hot food was cooked to order. Staff member at breakfast was very nice and helpful. We did not have dinner at hotel. This was our second stay and will definitely be returning. Thank you.

Overall it was a good stay but after paying nearly £300 for a room you would expect breakfast and parking to be included. Pretty outrageous. Also the whole system of paying a deposit just to get one beer after 10pm is pretty ridiculous. It just felt as though there was an extra charge waiting round every corner. 15 quid for a few scrambled eggs and a crossaint after paying for a nice room is crazy. Other than that the hotel was nice

Quaint English Inn on the English Channel. Excellent restaurant and bar. Friendly people. Rooms were sparse but comfortable. Our son’s family stayed in rm next door and they has already made up the roll in beds. The surrounding area is interesting but no retail.

Hotel is right on the Leas and does have a view over the Channel. Lovely walk down to the harbour arm and old town. Train station 15 minutes away. Folkestone is a great place to visit. Highly recommend

The hotel is in a lovely location, great spot uphill above the shores. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Parking wasn't too bad, however be mindfull some charge all the till 5pm and some 8pm, which you can get at the hotel to pay park.
The room was very spacious, unfortunately the ground level there was high fumes of cooking smells, it might be the restaurant cooking dinner.

Location is great but for the price it’s quite dated. The bed was very firm which isn’t my personal preference. The rooms could do with a bit of a revamp but the bathrooms are massive. If you are booking for a wedding don’t bother as there’s no plugs near mirrors or full length mirrors to get ready with.
For a hotel called the view it does live up to that if you are at the front of the hotel, side rooms did have a sea view but was mostly looking over a burnt hotel next door.

We were disturbed by other guests very early in the morning which went on for over an hour having FaceTime calls, however Ben did try and ask them to be quiete. It wasn’t the hotels fault but the walls are very thin.
