Parking was easy, however, it is populated by traveling construction workers and such, so expect big trucks. Luckily the spots aren’t too compact.

Biggest issue was the room key. We swapped that key so many times. It wasn’t even a case of us tarnishing the magnetic strip after the first 2 times. The door slots are just difficult. Heard other guests complaining about the same.

Staff was super friendly! The property itself was clean and the rooms were too. The wi-fi was terrible though and some outlets within the rooms were either not working or loose. The amenities were also not refilled, likely being left from the last people who stayed I would assume? It just wasn't very cleanly in that regard. It also took over two more hours for our second room to be cleaned when told it woukd be done by 3:30, I could give leeway up until 4pm but it wasn't actually cleaned until 5:30. Overall though, it was not entirely terrible. It could just use some adjustments.

My son and I were in LA for the Shepherds Conference at Grace Community Church. Our stay at Santa Clarita Motel was just what we needed. Very clean, good condition, electronics up to date, Fridge and Microwave and good shower!! It seemed like there was enough parking while we were there. They said no vacancy, so I assume there was parking for all. The trip to Roscoe Blvd was easy and traffic was not bad even at 7:45am.
The train goes buy occasionally at night but other than a minute of that, the motel was quiet at night for uninterrupted sleeping.

For a motel the room was pretty nice. Area is nice. Soft bed and pillows, and housekeeping did a good job as the room always smelled good. The only knock is that it's next to a busy street so you can hear the cars going by on the regular until later hours. "Lobby" was small but they offered good coffee and available pastries. Overall it was a nice stay.

I'm just glad we weren't there on a party night, like a Friday or Saturday night. Good luck getting any sleep then.
In addition, there was no dresser to put things away in. Just a small drawer in an oddball cloth hanging device masquerading as the closet, with only 4 hangers.
The bathroom was very small and had no place to put anything either. No shelves at all. And the towels were the worst towels I've had in any hotel I've ever stayed in. They were literally rough like sandpaper.
But, like I said, I give them 3 stars because at least the bed was comfortable and the place was clean. But, bring your own blankets if the weather is chilly, because the cover on the bed is paper thin. Luckily we had our own blankets with us.

It’s next to a train track and you hear it go by like every 30 min or so. You hear traffic outside and the people in the parking lot were sketchy. We were kinda worried about our cars. Nothing bad happened though. In the morning they started early construction in the parking lot and it was annoying too. We couldn’t leave any faster!

For what this room is, a two-star hotel, it was a five-star steak. Overall everything was neat, the beds were kept well, and the friendly staff made it easy for check-in and check out. I was there on a last minute trip for a funeral and this was a perfect little place to stay. I felt safe and the parking was well lit. No issues at all.

It was a bit later that morning but she was still doing rooms. Thought she would go into our room and clean it since we had announced to her we were leaving. She didn't go in after we had left. There is no pool. I didn't look at the description of the hotel well enough to realize that. Would have been nice on Sunday to have had that opportunity. Not the hotel's fault that I didn't know. Had I been aware I'm not sure I would have booked it.

I have stayed here two previous occasions. Rooms are clean, you can’t hear neighbors, quiet area, even at night. Metrolink train station very close proximity so if you don’t want to drive, take the train. You can’t hear it when you’re in the rooms. Nice little gem in Santa Clarita.
