The floor in the room was dirty and very sticky. The mattresses were of very, very low quality, every time you move the bed creaks. The refrigerator in the room made a lot of noise, every half hour it made a very loud noise that woke us all up.

The hotel was well priced for the area, but there are a couple of things worth noting. The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. If you’re planning to cook and use the kitchen, be sure to let the front desk know at check-in that you’ll need a set of utensils, cooking pans, and shower gel, as these items are provided upon request and are not automatically placed in the room.

Also, breakfast is limited to a grab-and-go option with oatmeal, granola bars, muffins, and coffee — there is no breakfast buffet. It would be great if they added items like fresh fruit and yogurt.

Bathroom and floors were not cleaned. It was nice to have a kitchen, however, when we requested dishes they came dirty. Stove knobs were worn and we could not see the temperature. Staff was very kind.

The hotel rooms need a major renovation. Chipped paint, extremely old furniture. There are no amenities in the kitchenette. No pans, plates, pots, silverware. The only items offered are plastic cups in the bathrooms, towels, and bar soap.

The TV offers Netflix and YouTube. WiFi is OK, not great.

There is really no breakfast. Just coffee, tea, packaged oatmeal and hot cocoa, and a few breakfast bars and packages blueberry muffins.

I was expecting a regular room with 2 queen beds. But extended stay said that i booked for a disabled room and that they can’t do anything about it since i booked it thru expedia. And they even said that if i booked it thru expedia with the deal/discount, i will be assigned to a room that expedia prefers and not usually the one that i chose to be booked. The room feels like i’m in a hospital since it’s for disabled.

We stayed on the night of 12/23 and unfortunately left some toiletries behind. We called the front desk the morning of 12/25 at 8:56 a.m. to check the Lost and Found. The receptionist immediately told us the items were probably not there because housekeeping had already serviced the room.
When we asked what their policy is for items left behind, whether they are kept, discarded, or given to housekeeping, she responded dismissively and said she would “go check if that makes you happy.” The interaction felt unprofessional and lacked basic customer service.

There was no Lobby as I was expecting - only two chairs were provided in the so called lobby. The breakfast was entirely poor only Muffins and coffee.
There was no coffee or tea machine in the room. There were no curtsy water bottle in the room.
Bed was old and uncomfortable.
I paid more than 180 dollars in total. It was not worth to pay such an amount.
I will never stay with this hotel in future. Bette to pay a bit more and stay comfortably.

parking was fine, check in fine. there was NO Coffee Pot or Tea in the room. For a $270 per night room, where is the coffee pot? Don't be so cheap. Also the Elevator was slow, there was no pool, no jacquzzi, no weight room. The bedspread was Military issue, thin and unimpressive. No Shampoo or Condiitioner in the shower. Not. what I expected for Santa Barbara. And the \"Breakfast Included\", pathetic, lobby snack stand with packaged oatmeal and costco muffins. so sad. That was NOT breakfast, that was deceitful.

Pros: I appreciated the size of the room and kitchen set up. The staff was fairly quick on their responses to requests, but I feel that since I checked in at night, I didn't get the best intro to the hotel and information. I liked the convenient location and ample parking.
Cons: The AC unit does not stay consistently on, so it makes a lot of noise when it turns on. Would've appreciated a more stable AC unit. The water was warm at best, making it difficult and uncomfortable to shower in the cooler weather. I expect that there would be hot water for my week long stay.
Overall, good value for the price I paid, but not sure I would be back at this particular location.

This place is pretty gross and run down. You have to get shampoo at the front desk. If you want new bedding, you take it off your bed yourself and bring to the front desk and they give you new linens. No housekeeping unless you stay for 14 days. Staff was fine. Room was very clean. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin and we were woken up at 3am by the room next door “using their bed” so aggressively that our bed was shaking—we at first thought there was an earthquake. Its basically a seedy hotel. Santa Barbara is a safe area generally so it wasn’t scary but this place is bare bones.

Unclean. No one at front desk. Left a sign. Left number to call (600) . Called over 10x trying to check in. No answer. Wife had to call mainline 7pm on a Saturday.
Rooms are not clean. We had to wipe down smudges on walls and counters in all areas.
Bed squeaks creaks. Cheap bed frames. Can hear guy snoring through wall. All night. Heater doesn’t work. At all. Have set on 90 degrees currently blowing cold air. No answer at front desk at 7am. 1 star hotel. Period.

Hopeless stay never experienced this before

This was very hopeless stay ever I have experienced in my 20 years of life in this country . The floor was very sticky and bare foot showed the dark greasy on our legs
Bathroom was clogged and sink has very slow drainage of water . Room was smelling something weird . We complained on clogged bathroom they asked us to come and pick the stick and unblock ourselves .
Breakfast is simply tea bags and coffee
We had hard time that night with kids it was really hopeless , with the hope extended stay was a brand to choose but never ever again
I always booked with hotels.com because I always good hotels and pricing but this time
I was waiting get out of the hotel and waiting to puke already .

Same cost as everyone else, easy trailer access.

It has been a while since I have stayed in an extended stay, but this was my budget friendly option. First the good. I was towing a trailer and load from Phoenix to Santa Barbra and back. So I needed a parking lot capable of storing said trailer, and maneuvering it around. We used google maps and the hotels address to look at a satellite image to determine if we could accomplish this. The hotel was located directly off the freeway with freeway and local access. There was a little shell convenient store, and a In and Out directly across the street. The people at the front desk were very nice and got us taken care of quickly. As for the room. It had 2 beds and plenty of pillows. Now for the bad. The room overall was fine however some upkeep seems to be neglected. The shower/tub faucet ran all 3 days we were there. There was more than a trickle coming out of the spicot even after tightening it as hard as I could. The floor in the bathroom, and room has all the same vinyl planking floor, but whatever they use to clean the floor with became sticky as soon as moisture hit it. So getting out of the shower or the pure humidity made our barefeet sound and feel like they were being stuck to the floor. Unlike the beds. They moved every time someone touched the mattress. Which by the way we could hear upstairs' moving around too. The bathroom door seemed to be missing paint in about a 2 foot scattered pattern.

Highly recommend. Not far from anywhere at all. I read reviews prior to booking, I came across the “smelly” rooms but my room didn’t smell, it was very clean, I like that there were mattress covers. They tell you at check in what the rooms have and don’t have, it is a pet friendly hotel so if there was any sort of smell, it’s just the basic animal stench. Customer service was great ! 10/10.

You guys need staff. Or treat your staff right so they don’t have a bad day and treat others with unnecessary attitudes. No staff when I arrived to check in until I believe the manager, came in to help. Another nice guy was a white guy, tall-thin, forgot his name. One lady with tattoos and another coworker were just chatting it up and cursing talking about being tired of their job. I even got an unclean/wrong room. Older lady that cleans was also very sweet. Please treat people kind, this first time experience became my last.

This hotel was a complete let down - especially for the price. The staff was distracted. The rooms were minimal but ok. Paint was peeling. Stains on ceiling. And a weird smell I couldn’t get to go away even with open windows. Very disappointed and embarrassed that I chose this location for a night in Santa Barbara. Do yourself a favor and choose another hotel.

The room and the bathroom stank. It was one kind of smell in the room and another in the bathroom, almost like tobacco. The refrigerator had stains on the side. The hotel doesn’t even put a coffee maker in the rooms, and the breakfast is minimal…oatmeal packets and muffins and sweet bars. They are optimizing on costs so they don’t change towels or set the beds for 10 days. The rooms didn’t even have a do not disturb sign to hang outside.

This is the lowest of low budget. Room had zero appeal, wire frame bed in the middle of a bare room. Kitchenette had old, broken cabinets and a rusty fridge that made noise all night. Bedsheets seemed clean enough but very uncomfortable. The kind of place you sleep with one eye open all night. Strongly do not recommend.

It was really basic and normally all kitchenware is provided in the rooms. Here you have to request everything. Towels were thin and no shampoo, conditioner and bath soap offered/available. No ice machines either. Very basic lodging. Not even a real lobby. It was fine for the 1 night but probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff were very nice but they were understaffed. We were checked in late and were told we would receive a $50 discount but only received $25. The room alarm went off at midnight. The fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night, without explanation. There were no toiletries in the room so we had to ask for them at the front counter. Overall, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Okay location. Limited on-site amenities. No ice maker, they expect you to use crappy ice tray and make your own. You have to borrow limited coffee makers, grab-n-go coffee ends at 9:30.

Extended Stay Santa Barbara was more affirdable than most other hotels on rhe area. It's in a quieter area across the street from an In & Out Burger and gas station. Easy access to the highway.
You won't really get what you pay for. At $240, there were no toiletries. You must ask for specific dishes and dish soap.An alarm went off on the middle of the night which led to a cascade of unfortunate health events for me (a young healthy person). No manager was available in the morning to discuss the incident with. Shower was not cleaned in advance, and despite \"recent renovations\" the place still felt old, bare bones, and uncomfortable to stay in. Value is closer to Motel. I wouldn't pay more than $140 to stay here. Won't stay again.

We arrived for summer solatice and from the start was greeted by Sara front door staff. She provided us with food information about the rooms where to park, snd local restaurants. She wass mind to our sweet dog who was on his forstvroad trip as a puppy. We forgot our bowl at home abd she was able to accomodate us with a food bowl. She provided us with information on gran and go breakfast whcih she was honest. Oatmeal muffins a granola bars with coffee. We even were able to check in early and check out an hour later all due to thw kindness of the staff. The room was clean. You have to ask for paper towels plates and cups. But should have all your needs. We were happy as it was close to in and out for our aon and was close to where our sons La Crosse game was playin lg. The room was perfect for what we needed and affordable for our budget. I would stay here again if needed. Thank you Sara!!! You were awesome!!!

When I got to the hotel there were police cars surrounding an RV outside. The hotel was messy because it's under construction for reservations and the \"Included Breakfast\" was the most minimalistic thing I have ever seen.
