Property was not ideal in that it was long and narrow with parking along the entire outside. A driveway surrounds the property with plenty of parking which did feel safe. It was just challenging to take your dog to use the bathroom. There was a little patch of rocks in the corner that did the trick. Because there wasn't other grass nearby either. But other than that, this place was fantastic.

I called Expedia and went to voice mail so I gave them my name and number 24+ and no phone call. I would like a refund! Motel 6 did not book me I have pictures of the room it's disgusting.

When i dared to complained, the office staff cancelled my prepaid reservation extension without warning. I had to not only pack and be out of the room in 30 min but had to find somewhere else to go and get an Uber in that short amount of time. I still have not received a refund for them cancelling. I have repeatedly chatted with Expedia's virtual agents trying to get a refund of my $190.00 but so far nothing. .
Word of advice, if you want to actually sleep, go anywhere else. If you complain you'll get ripped off or have to wait weeks for a refund if you get one

We got a little bit of an early check in which was nice! However, I stayed at the Motel 6 in Goleta before and the Goleta one was better. Here’s why: this one’s walls were dirty and so were the mattresses. It looked like someone had an accident in the mattress closest to the door and they just put a cover over it. It was yellow. The walls were very dirty, there’s no microwave or mini fridge and no shampoo and conditioner in the room you have to ask for mini samples on conditioning shampoo from the office. It’s also kind of loud at night. I don’t know if motel 6 is a franchise but whoever is running this one is going way cheaper than any of the other ones and it’s by the beach in an expensive area. I’d imagine they would

While this is a no frills hotel, it was super clean and my roommate and I really enjoyed the shower’s water pressure and the fact that there was plenty of hot water for a long relaxing shower. Bring your own shampoo and lotion as none were provided. If you are particular about soap, you might want to bring that to as they only give you two tiny bars. One for sink and other for shower. Free coffee in front desk area.

Thank staff is nice and are happy to accommodate whatever you need. Bed was comfortable too. I reserved 2 Queen Size beds but at the time of our check in we got 2 full size beds instead. We made it work because I preferred a downstairs room. Overall it was a pleasant experience close to everything. I recommend The Good Lion Bar for drinks and Paula’s Pancake House! So delicious and large portions!!

Great location on State street with excellent parking and walking to multiple restaurants and shoppers and Downtown to marina all within minutes. Very clean and comfy room with very comfortable bed. Very no frills but great value with low price. I felt very safe and staff was super friendly! Jesus checked us in quickly and gave us choice of rooms which was nice as I prefer ground floor. Air conditioning works great and bathroom was clean and shower was great pressure with hot water! I would stay again!

You know I’ve seen a lot of motel sixes throughout my life. This has to be the worst one I’ve ever stayed off. The floors were filthy. We stepped out of our stepped onto the floor and looked at our feet and they were dirty from the floor. Do they ever mop place? One of the reasons that we chose this is because they had a pool. The problem the stupid lady at the front desk wouldn’t open it. I went there in the morning to ask what time they open the pool cause I wanted to catch a quick swim she said nine 3930 came. It was still locked. I went and asked her she wouldn’t get off herchair walk 30 steps to unlock the pool gate. I waited and waited by 2 o’clock. It was too late. Your attitude was the worst attitude I’ve ever seen anybody have a hotel absolutely should be replaced. But it is a motel six so what should I expect. Do yourself a favor. Find another place to stay and spend a few more bucks.

I had never stayed at a Motel 6 before because I had negative thoughts about it. Our spur of the moment trip to Santa Barbara, and the ridiculous prices there for just one night, made me rethink. This Motel 6 was immaculate, it looked totally remodeled, had "wood" flooring and the receptionist was friendly and efficient!
