A good night stay. Friendly, very helpfull staff, a good choice in the evening restaurant and breakfast too. Both were extra to the hotel bill, but i dont think there was much alternative locally.
I would book again if in the area.

Great place to relax after a long day driving.

Comfortable beds, immaculately clean and friendly welcome. Hugely exceeded our expectations. Decided to eat at the restaurant and the food was really good.
Will definately be using Campanile again.

Perfectly fine for a stopover

Check in was quick and easy. Room was fine with a kettle for tea and coffee. Hotel bar and restaurant was fine and food was good. Breakfast was ok (hot items had all gone by 7:20 and had not been replenished half hour later).

Service at the desk was very good. The buffets at breakfast eight in the evening were very good. Lots of variety at a good price.
We asked for extra towels and they were supplied quite willingly
And the staff is very friendly and very, very helpful
The mattresses were a little bit uncomfortable, but the location of the hotel is very good because it is very quiet. Also, very close to a gas station if you have rented a car and the Super U shopping centre, McDonald’s and Burger King if you’re looking for a Canadian food
Also, very close to Vilandry Chateau
It was very central and easy for us to get around

There was no security,gates d or cctv,we had our camper vans windows smashed and goods stolen at 3 am in the morning,due to the stress of this we all decided to leave the hotel in the middle of the night.when we arrived the hotel receptionist said it was a very safe area and did not need any security,.I would definitely not recommend this hotel due to no security

Pleasant stay for one night

Great price. This is the ‘just right’ kind of place. The room is small, but clean and well organized. As the entrance is directly from outside, more like a motel, we were worried about the noise, as you can hear and see people passing by. But surprisingly everyone was quiet and mindful of others. The only thing hard to understand is why only two towels, one small and one a bit bigger, per room.

Stop off on journey south. Website said no food so pleasantly surprised to find restaurant open. Stayed many times because always clean dog friendly and easy walking quiet surroundings and excellent staff.

Perfect location if you are travelling with dogs as opposite a large wood and park. Can park right outside the room as well. Request ground floor rooms. Room itself is small but for the price is good. Has a kettle with tea & coffee

Back again.

Stopover on way home to Blighty. Have been before. Nice quiet location with excellent dog walking nearby. Friendly staff and you don't have to go out to get a meal as the restaurant serves good wholesome evening meals and breakfasts. Room clean but the property is starting to look a bit tired. Don't let that put you off. ill continue to use this Campimile.

Sleep amongst the vines.

An overnight stopover on journey south. Apart from a mix-up on arrival it was an excellent stay. The accommodation is superb that is mainly used as a gite in season. Very comfortable bed in end part of old farmhouse newly renovated to a high standard. Very quiet surrounded by vines. No evening meal but short drive into Libourne found a good selection of restaurants. Good breakfast at very reasonable price.

The room was very clean and adequate for an overnight stay and was very competitively priced. I would have given a higher rating but I asked for an accessible room to accommodate me and my wheelchair but although I was given a ground floor room it was not a room for the disabled, I therefore did not have enough room for my wheelchair or a seat in the shower or a frame around the toilet. This made things very difficult for me. Campanile have always given me an accessible room in the past so I don't understand why they did not accommodate me this time.
The room for able bodied people however, was very clean and comfortable and very good value.

Great stop over with amazing dog walks

Great hotel, staff speak multi languages, very clean friendly and convenient. Unfortunately since my first visit to this hotel years back the hotel has got quite popular and more expensive but still. Great hotel none the less, lake and forest for the dogs too

Brilliant value.

Always enjoy a stay at any Campanile as they are not much more than an F1 but much better quality and always have a very good French restaurant on site. Very good value for money.Use them for overnight stops when travelling and you can't go wrong.

Did the job to break a long journey

We stayed here for one night as a stopover from Toulouse. First impressions when you reach this hotel and the area are a little disappointing, with it looking very like Butlins in the 70's. Exterior paint peeling and bushes not clipped. Needs a little TLC. However receptionist was very pleasant. When getting to the room, it is more than adequate with a nice bathroom and comfy bed, coffee and TV. Restaurant food was good as was breakfast in the morning. Very much a budget hotel, but more than adequate for a one night stopover.

The hotel was very clean with everything we needed. We particularly liked the food on offer (evening meal) made on the premises by a proper chef, the carvery was as good as any in a hotel chain and the chef was on hand to describe what he had cooked. Efficient waitress service and good atmosphere. The only downside to our stay was that there was little soundproofing so that at 6am the person upstairs woke us up by running a bath. After that most of the other customers started waking and walking about.
We would have happily paid more for a room that was quieter.

Lost in Tours!

After spending an hour and half trying to find the hotel due to the wrong address on hotels .com we had to telephone hotel for directions the manager we spoke to gave us the correct address he was very helpful . On entering our room we had no pillowcases on pillows and the towels we had were only fit for cleaning rags they were very threadbare and had seen better days .

This was an overnight stop on the way back from Spain to Dieppe ferry. Very helpful staff and a nice room. Excellent bathroom & shower and comfortable beds. We felt it was good value for money.

Location perfect for motorway stop with dogs

The hotel is clean, safe, perfect for a stop off with dogs. There is a great wood 1min walk from hotel which is fantastic for morning runs before carrying on with your journey. Always a winner for me. And just 5mins from motorway yet so quiet. Perfect

Nice hotel, but you need a car!

The hotel room was quite small but the beds were very comfortable, the room was pleasantly warm and it was always very clean. However, in our four night stay they didn't once change the towels, nor was there a hand-towel provided. The restaurant was OK, the food was basic but for France rather expensive for what it was. It's a great base for getting around the area and once their Luas is up and running it will be easy to get access into Tours itself. At the moment however, you really need to have a car if you are staying there.

Campanile Tours - Joue-Les-Tour

We arrived at about 10pm after having driven in circles trying to find the hotel and found the restaurant to be closed !

The pictures on the website were clearly not of the Campanile in Tours! Our room had a broken lamp (it was literally hanging together by cables). The faucet (tap) in the bathroom broke off when turning the water on. No secure parking.

The breakfast,although extra, was good value - that was the best bit! We shall not be returning!

Coming South, Satnav not working. Confusing signeage took us in the wrong direction towards Chambray. Talked to locals for directions but still very poor signposting meant we took a long time to find you. Thereafter all fine.

À peine arrivés que nous sommes pris d' écœurement avec une odeur d' égout/dégoût!!!! Horrible et honteux dans un établissement hôtelier ! Où, normalement on vient pour se poser. De plus, dans la même dynamique où on est censé se poser... « programme brouillé » message de la Chaîne Canal+, concernant les autres chaînes de la télé : ces dernières saccadent puis se figent.

De plus, en parlant de l' éco responsabilité, le chauffe-serviette de la salle de bain était bouillant car non-éteint …
Il faisait une chaleur à crever dans la Salle de Bain. La nuitée est cher payée avec tous ces inconvénients. Je suis disponible pour échanger avec vous et voir avec vous pour le dédommagement. Cordialement

Bonne accueil. Par contre inadmissible de passer les frais pour la présence d’un chien de 5€ à 10€, surtout pour un chien qui est juste là pour dormir et lors de mon repas à pour obligation de manger dehors et pas dedans. Il est sûrement beaucoup plus respectueux des lieux que certains humains!

L' accueil agréable et la bonne note (usurpée !!) de cet établissement ne nous avait pas préparé à la chambre d une grande saleté (moquette immonde, joints de douche noirs et jaune, tablette abîmée, etc ...), et à l odeur nauséabonde.
Si la chambre n avait pas été payée d avance, nous aurions quitté cet établissement indigne d'un 3 étoiles et de campanile.
Le petit déjeuner (plutôt cher) fût laborieux a cause d'une panne de four semble t-il. Si le matériel de cuisine est aussi vétuste que la chambre, c'est peut-être normal ... espérons que l'hygiène y soit meilleure !
Je précise l'amabilité de la personne de l'accueil qui fait ce qu'elle peut dans cet hôtel qu'il vaut mieux éviter.

- Les matelas laissent sentir les ressorts.
- L'eau chaude n'apparaît qu'après de nombreuses minutes à attendre (chambre 10 peut-être en bout de l'installation).
- Les serviettes et le tapis de bain sont très usagés.
- La petite coupe avec la cafetière est vide : pas de café et autres.
- Le ménage n'est plus fait sauf si l'on le demande !!!
- Il semble que le COVID ait laissé des traces mais le tarifs n'a pas baissé pour autant.
