Comfortable room with great views over the Motay Firth, cleanliness needs to improve however - carpet needs shampooing, bed needs pulled out, washed down and cleaned/hoovered behind. Get rid of scatter cushions and cover at base of bed (these dont look to be laundered between guests). I never used the restaurant as VERY expensive. Staff friendly and helpful

We spent a delightful night at The North Kessock Hotel during our nine-day road trip around Scotland. This quaint little pub, located right on the water in North Kessock, offers a truly restful and charming atmosphere. Perched overlooking the stunning Beauly Firth, the hotel provided breathtaking views that enhanced our stay. Dining downstairs at the restaurant was a wonderful experience, with a vibrant ambiance that made every meal special. We couldn't fault this experience in any way—truly a highlight of our trip!

Very enjoyable 1night stay- we have been before and it’s still as good as the 1st time. Staff very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a meal in the restaurant at night. As our stay was on a Friday, it’s best to book a table beforehand as it gets really busy. Our room this time was a side sea view and very spacious with a walk-in shower- only thing I would say( as an older person) is the shower could do with a rubber mat as it can be a bit slippery

We loved our stay at the North Kessock Hotel! The owners and staff were so helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The rooms were a little bit small but overall very comfortable and cozy. We opted to stay a little outside town rather than in central Inverness, and happy we did. Lovely location with great views from the hotel and nice walks in the area. Still very convenient location with easy free parking nearby. We did eat at the restaurant one night and everyone in our group felt it was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone staying near Inverness and we'll stay here again.

We had the Superior Twin room and the view outside is very pleasant. Large and clean room to accommodate everything for our stay. We stayed on our last night for the NC500. Staff are lovely and generous. Bar is great for decent selection of beers and wines. Pool table is also pretty good.

The bed was comfortable and the views out of our room window was decent. There is no front desk. There is a bell that you ring or you walk into one of the restaurants to speak to a staff member. There is no elevator, so if you have a lot of heavy luggage and depending on where your room is, it will be a bit of a task to get them up the stairs. A lot of small winding hallways. There was noticeable black mold and grime in the bathroom along on the shower wand, shower head and walls as well as the grab bar. Street parking was relatively easy.

I am giving this rating because things came up during the trip and we were running late. The hotel basically said too bad that is when we close for the night. We paid full price as it was charged to our card and we didn’t spend the night. We had to scramble late at night to find another hotel in Iverness. Luckily the local Courtyard by Marriott let us come late even though they were closed. Thank you to them for understanding our circumstances and being accommodating. We checked in about 20min after closing so it wasn’t unreasonably late. Considering this is the hospitality industry we were disappointed. Unfortunately circumstances happen while travelling and this hotel was not very understanding and accommodating. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Absolutely loved this little hotel as our base for our Highland drives. Great staff went above and beyond for the simplest of requests. For amenities, it was what you’d expect for a small family run hotel - nothing fancy, but everything was just perfect. Location was just outside of Inverness which also turned out to be great - super easy access off of A9 meant quick and easy starts to our day trips, and then a comfy bed to return to each night. Would love to go back.

Lovely Inn keepers in a typical old British hotel. Upside - quiet room
& the beds were comfy, good breakfast and a great view of the water. Downside - small room and tiny bathroom/shower typical of this period property. However the fryer smell from the busy kitchen downstairs permeates the upper floors. Suggest they close the door to the kitchen from the Inn side of the main entrance to help contain the odours.

The hotel is located in a quiet area and some of the rooms have nice views to the sea. Our room was simple and clean and the batroom, though really tiny, had everything we needed. As other reviews mentioned there is a strong smell in the coridor and restaurant coming from the restaurant at the ground floor. We werent particulary bothered by it but we only stayed there for one night. Breakfast was very basic, ready made and with very little options to choose from (nothing for vegans on the menu). Location wise, its about 15 minutes drive from Inverness. Given the ammount we payed and comparing to other places we stayed at, I think it was quite expensive for what it offers.

Wonderful waterfront location away from city center but only 10 min drive. Very nicely done room, very comfortable. Had dinner in the dining room both nights & the food was outstanding - I highly recommend it. Was in GB for almost 5 weeks & those dinners were definitely in my top 5!

I loved the quiet setting by the water with lots of walking paths to stretch your legs. The food from the hotels restaurant was very good, no need to go anywhere. Easy access by car just over the bridge into Inverness.

The food in the dining room was very good both for dinner and breakfast. Staff was friendly and very efficient. The room was nice, bathroom updated. Walls between rooms a bit thin but then but then that can be expected at an older property. We enjoyed our stay.

Great little Hotel on the waterfront in a quiet area, the bedroom was clean and of a good standard, but the ensuite bathroom was excellent.
