Jim and Christina were wonderful hosts. The room was very comfortable, and a gorgeous view of the water outside. It was very quiet at Sealladh Sona, and we really enjoyed our three night stay here. It was about a mile walk to the main area of Inverness, which made this a perfect location! There was also pleanty of parking either directly in front of the house, or just down the street in a lot. We had a couple early mornings, and Jim and Christina were kind enough to pack us to go Breakfasts. The one breakfast we ate at the B&B was absolutely delicious! We definitely would love to stay here again next time we're visiting Inverness!

I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing a truly delightful bed & breakfast such as Sealladh Sona in many years. The hosts, Christina and Jim, are a wonderful and friendly couple who made us feel welcome in their home. The breakfast is outstanding and filling, with many options and plenty of fun conversations on the side. The room (doon stairs) is very clean, spacious and everything you could want or need is provided. Location-wise, Sealladh Sona is within walking distance of Inverness center - also great to walk off those extra calories. Parking in front of the property is great as well. The only thing I regret is that we didn't stay longer at this wonderful b&b. Thank you for everything, Christina & Jim.

This BnB has a great location across the river from the main town so in a lovely quiet area. Sited right next to the canal it has a great outlook and local walks to enjoy.
Internally the owners make you feel so welcome, there is plenty of space, its immaculate clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is cooked to order, plentiful and of top quality.

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon, choosing it to be our hub for exploring the Scottish Highlands. It was comfortable, clean, quiet, and right by the canal that leads to river ness/loch Ness. The made to order breakfast was very good and the coffee was some of the best we had our whole trip. Great price and great value. We would stay here again.

The Coruscating B&B
The low winter sunlight coruscates from the canal lighting up the lovely interior. Perfect location, overlooking the rooftops of Inverness. Look left and right to see masts of yachts in the canal basin and through the lock gates by the nearby outlet to the Beauly Firth. An easy walk on a quiet street to the city centre took us over the River Ness on a pedestrian suspension bridge. Already I've recommended Sealladh Sona to friends. The hosts made us very welcome and enhanced even more our stay in the highland capital.

Christina and Jim's place is immaculate. We stayed on the first floor and had a canal view. We were in a clean, comfortable room that was equipped with a Smart TV, USB ports and an iPhone doc for charging needs. The bathroom was large, beautiful, and modern. The breakfast (continental and cooked) was abundant and tasty! It was an easy 15 minute walk into the town of Inverness (flat ground- easy, straight shot from the house). Christina and Jim were warm, helpful, and kind. Great place to stay.

After a long, exhausting day getting to Inverness, Scotland, we were delighted to meet the owners of Sealladh Sona who were warm and welcoming. The rooms were lovely and overlooked the canal. The next morning we enjoyed a delicious full Scottish breakfast and lively conversation. If ever we are so fortunate to return to Inverness, this is where we would stay.

A pleasant surprise!
My wife and I were on a road trip of Scotland and booked this place on Expedia. I told my wife I was reluctant due to it being a bed and breakfast (which can be hit or miss) but she made me keep the reservation. Sealladh Sona was fantastic! It was easily the best place we stayed in during our trip. Our room was huge (with a king size bed that was very comfortable), clean & modern bathroom, huge wardrobe, free WiFi, and a custom made breakfast every morning. The owners (Christina & Brian) were excellent hosts and were always eager to suggest places to visit & where to eat in the city center of Inverness. The location is on the canal within Inverness and within a very easy walking distance to the city center (15 minutes). Since we were driving we were able to park our rental car out front. However, when coming in you are on a 1 way street so you will have to back up to exit. It was really a great experience and would love to stay there again.
