Great quiet location just outside of the main city, resort rooms were private but plenty of people in common areas (went in off season). Kids club was a huge letdown - zero kids and the indoor and outdoor area was dusty (literal dust on a box of toys brought out for my daughter). Babysitting through kids club was 1000vatu and staff were lovely but could have been more atmosphere there. Front staff were helpful when you made requests but could have more training in supporting patrons with activities/tours in off season and when external tours are constantly cancelled or rescheduled because of cruise ships taking all the spots. Easier to organise your own driver to attractions or a day tour

Poor communication from check - in, Unaware of kids eat free for lunch and dinner until the second day of stay. On arrival our Bed was broken,heaps of mosquitoes in room we need to call reception to ask for some spray to get rid of them. Cleaners did not clean the room daily or replace complimentary bottle water.
They also had wifi issue for the 4 nights of our stay.
Not a great stay for the price we paid. Disappointed as we were recommend to stay here.

The room was a bit tired but kept very clean. The bar staff at the pool were very friendly and accommodating, they are the best asset to the hotel. What was disappointing was that it was our 20th Wedding Anniversary and I had emailed ahead to the hotel prior to our stay hoping when we arrived there would be some acknowledgment but nothing.

2 star service and property 5 star prices. Honestly couldn’t recommend it. Property is rundown and not well managed. Tiles stripping away from the pool rubbish throughout the grounds, never towels available at the pool never towels available through housekeeping. Service was always slow, no greetings or welcomes just staring past you until eventually it was impossible to ignore. Couldn’t check in until 3.5 hours after check in - no apology no communication, no updates unless we chased them. Buffet was constantly empty and the quality of food was barely edible. Plates and cutlery never removed from common areas - left out overnight. Housekeeping never removed any rubbish or plates. Room service never answered the calls and the a la carte pizza I ordered was gross. Wanted to love this place. It’s in a beautiful location and has everything it needs to be a great destination but the investment in the property is required and the management of the team and the service is required. The whole stay felt budget… only it wasn’t!

The pool area was very good, and the bar staff always friendly and helpful. Our holiday was let down by resort management and planning, we arrived after 3 but couldn't access our room until nearer 5pm, on 2 evenings we couldn't get into the room as the keycard didn't work, the first time maintenance let us in but the next day we couldn't get back into the room and staff didn't understand the request to let us know by text or email when fixed, instead we lost 2 hours waiting for maintenance to fix, but they didn't, and it failed the following night, we requested a different room or some compensation but they were not interested in repairing the situation.

Warwick Le Lagon , is very dated and in desperate need of an upgrade , showers, dirty grout, shower pressure terrible. Toilet seat broken, Bedding and furniture dated and worn out. Door to room hanging on with one hinge.
Gym Equipment Broken. Pool table and tennis table warn cues in poor condition. Really dissapointed. Don't get fooled by opening photos.
Service from staff is great, lovely people, just a shame they let the owner has let the resort go. Owners need to step in and upgrade the rooms. The resort is in a great spot, just needs a lot of TLC.

Where to start?
1.Contacted the property twice before arrival for airport transfers to have nil reply or pick thus had to use a taxi.
2.Reception upon booking in had a porter take us to our room, half way there we where heading in the wrong direction as we had previously stayed there. Upon return to reception we where told it was our issue and to take it up with reservation. I showed them by booking and room booked to be told once again it was my issue. Upon demanding to see the manager who then realised we had been put in with a booking group, then gave us the correct room however not having the king size bed as in the reservation. Reception staff need alot of training as the first point of contact
3.Dining for dinner at the terrace is quite limited, even though they have different night specialties. Most of the food is only warm, not hot and catering is mostly for the kids with half the options being the same every night of nuggets, chips, spaghetti etc and it shows in the lack of people that go there for dinner. Wild ginger restaurant is Good however
4. Drinks are very over priced. A $14 bottle of wine in AUS they sell for $114 AUS
5.As in point 2 we have stayed here previously in 2019 and its very noticeable the drop in staff attitudes. When it's 1 or 2 it's the staff, but in this case its the management. you see them walking around everyday looking for faults and to pull one staff member aside and give them a talking to in front of guest is not a good look.

Great for Families — Spacious Resort

Warwick Le Lagon is a large, well-maintained property that’s ideal for families and elderly guests. If mobility is a concern, I’d definitely recommend booking a villa closer to the main restaurant and amenities to avoid long walks. Although they do have buggies.

The buffet dinners were excellent value — around $50 AUD — and kids eat free, which is a huge bonus for families. Breakfast was decent but exactly the same every day, so it can get a bit repetitive if you’re staying more than a few days. Lunches were average for kids free option and didn’t vary much.

There’s plenty to do, including water sports — and free sailing is a standout. The setting is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views over the lagoon.

Skip the turtle sanctuary, though — it felt more like a holding pen. If you’re up for it, head to Top Rock for snorkeling instead — it’s stunning, though not suitable if you have mobility limitations.

Overall, a great resort for young families who’ll get the most value from the kid-friendly deals, activities, and the stunning location. I’d recommend no more than five days due to limited food options.

Came back at then and told we couldn't go cause the boat was out. Waste of a day wanting to do that and screwed around. Other than that, stay was great.

Property is in desperate need of a refurb. Rooms are clean but very old. Pool tiles are broken - my daughter cut her foot while swimming. Most of the staff are miserable and hardly want to serve you. Kids club is dirty and the staff were extremely rude to the kids. Hardly any of the resort activities happened. When questioning they said the staff had already gone home. The dining place (the buffet) food was horrible. Many people were sick from it.

The surrounding area and gardens are stunning, also the pools are pretty cool. However, that's where it stops. Buffet breakfast is not great, dinner is worse. And to make matters worse food and beverages are really overpriced. I booked ahead for hotel/airport transfer only to be told \"sorry you'll need to arrange your own taxi\", which as above the agreed price. Last but not least, the shower temperature and pressure was a lukewarm light drizzle.

We stayed there on our first trip to vanuatu and loved the resort, we stayed in a overwater suite and it was stunning, staff are very friendly and helpful. Daily breakfast was great with a huge selection. Only negative was the \"happy hour\" at the swim up bar because the second it started 2 of the 3 bar staff disappeared meaning in that hr we only got served once but that's the only fault. We had an overwater bungalow which was lovely with a view over the lagoon. It would have been good if there were steps down to the water from the balcony. The coffee machine was a nice touch. The resort was understaffed for the people here and the food is average and definitely not cheap. The staff were lovely, but there were not enough of them. I watched the Director of food and beverage when someone complained about the lack of staff stand by and watch while the lovely man in the bar worked, making him nervous, doing absolutely nothing to assist!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Warwick, the staff were all lovely and friendly and overall the facilities catered to us well. The only downfalls were the quality of the food on occasion considering the high prices, as particularly the buffets at night weren’t always worth it and we wished we had ventured out more at nighttime. The breakfasts were always great and it made sense that they were super busy. The facilites were great, beautiful grounds and pools. Free water-sports on the lagoon were fantastic. Overall great place to stay in a beautiful location but be prepared to spend a lot of $$$ on food and drinks.

This is not a 4.5/ 5 star resort. the room was nice we were grateful of the upgrade provided to a pool villa. If it wasn’t for that, it would’ve been a subpar stay and we would have checked out. Staff were not friendly. Food was terrible and if low quality and the overall service were not what you would expect of a 4.5 star resort. Some customer service training would be handy given that Vanuatu‘s main attraction is tourism. In comparison to the other location that we stayed for a week nothing was too much effort. Water sport facilities and quality of equipment was good. Ability to source transport to go into town to other restaurants was good. This could be a good quality resort if some attention was paid to the guest experience and improving variety and quality of food.

We had a wonderful stay at the Warwick. The staff was super friendly, helpful and welcoming-special shout out to Fraser!
The property is well kept, gardens are beautiful and the view across the lagoon is stunning.
We stayed in a garden villa which was nice, clean and comfortable- easily fit a family of 3. The beds were really comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was nice with a lot of options however the dinner buffet lacked variety and we found it repetitive over the week. Luckily we were told about some local restaurants (three pigs and banyan beach club) which we visited to mix up the dinner options. Overall the food was ok. Kids eat free (including lunch) which was awesome, however the kids options were also limited.
The pool area was beautiful, clean and really well maintained. Water sports (kayaks /padels etc) were a great offering to guests, we used the water sports most days.
The only negative for us was the kids club, unfortunately it lacked options and enthusiasm, it’s a little tired and under resourced. The lady who runs the club was lovely and I felt safe leaving my daughter there, however there were little activities organised and even though the schedule looks impressive in reality most days the main activities didn’t happen. In fairness this was due to lack of resources available post the earth quake so we feel in time this should improve.
Overall our stay was wonderful, the staff are all so lovely and the property was really well kept. I’d highly recommend!

We paid for the all-inclusive package, but were constantly disappointed as many of the limited included items were frequently unavailable. The service throughout our stay was slow and disorganized, and the property itself feels quite outdated and in need of serious renovation.

The gym equipment is in poor condition, and the pool towels were not only hard to find but also worn out and. It’s a real shame because the location and setting have so much potential, but the current standards fall far short of expectations.

My children and I spent time in Vanuatu recently and stayed here. We really enjoyed the swim up bar and selection of swimming pools on offer. We visited in the school holidays and although the property appeared busy they had closed one of the restaurants due to not enough guests for dinner. The buffet breakfast was not the best, plenty of options but the quality of the food was the problem. The omelette and egg making station with the foot cook fresh was the highlight. Our room was beautifully located on the waters edge and with a double bed and 2 singles was perfect for us all to have our own bed. We enjoyed the pool bar the most, such a fun and relaxing time.

Considerations Before Staying**

Time of Year
Stayed in August, temperatures ranged 17°C-26°C, but constant SE winds (15-40kmh) made swimming in the 24°C pools and relaxing by them uncomfortable. Next time, we’d choose a resort on the leeward side of the island. Low occupancy, possibly due to the season and Air Vanuatu's situation, meant the resort lacked atmosphere. Facilities like the golf course weren’t in good condition, and the main restaurant was closed for dinner.

Location
Opposite a village across the water (200m), noise from dogs, roosters, and music, plus smoke from fires, blew directly to us due to the SE winds. We had to keep the doors closed and use air con at night, which was unexpected.

Hits
Friendly, helpful staff, especially with our 2-year-old.
Safe food and water.
Beautiful location, enjoyable kayaking, and an amazing fire show.
Daily room service and easy access to Port Vila (5-10 mins).
Kids club/play area was nice, though not many other kids were there.

Misses
Slow check-in process.
Issues with our villa’s pool (stagnant water, poor filtration, strong chlorine).
Bathroom light exploded (due to bugs).
Noisy air conditioning unit.
Expensive and unreliable Wi-Fi (AUD $125 for 3 devices/week).

Summary
A nice resort with several issues, some fixable, some not. We’d choose a leeward-side resort and visit in a warmer month next time.

I had a wonderful stay with family at the Warwick le lagon.
The Garden bungalow was great and the high light was the pool area with the swim up bar.
The staff were impeccable and so friendly.
The breakfast buffet was excellent but we didn't enjoy dinner buffet as much.
We tried the Wild Ginger restaurant and we all enjoy the meals but unfortunately due to the last cyclones the Warwick as not repaired the air conditioning and it was extremely hot in the restaurant even with all the doors open
So we shared our meals with the flies!!.

This Property has low occupancy at the moment and i think there is much better value elsewhere.
But in saying that i would stay there again but i do belive that the Warwick group needs to spend alot on money on maintenance to see a turn around in there business.
So in all very relaxing , stress free. great people a little expensive and wow feeling of the resort is starting to decline.

But still worth a stay

Dated hotel in a good location

The location is excellent, the grounds are well kept but the hotel is dated, in particular the rooms, the bathrooms, food is a hit and miss, the main restaurant is average and expensive, the Asian a la carte is better, internet is really bad and an extra $30 a day.

It is a well laid out property with a lot of open spaces, good views of the lagoon, a lovely pier, excellent facilities for kayaking and very friendly staff especially the outdoor activities staff. It would be nice if there was beach at the property. I would also suggest that the restaurant should offer local cuisine, we are disappointed not to see local cuisine on the menu. The breakfast buffet spread was really good however it was the same every day with no changes.

Overall the property is nice though it could do with a much needed upgrade as the room is quite dated. It would be nice to experience an island themed night of performances to showcase their culture. Food on offer is ok but there needs to be more variety. The staff are lovely and do their best to accommodate the guests.

It was the most wonderful experience to stay in Warwick le lagon. It was such pleasure to meet the hotel manager Ramzy, he has done such a good job for the hotel. The peaceful morning kayaking is out of this world. Vanuatu is a long way from London where I live, but for sure I am coming back!

Big lesson learnt from this holiday. Never presume a 5 Star hotel chain is standard throughout the world.

The property is in great need of some TLC after Covid & twin cyclones in 2023. Additionally, its obvious there is no senior management onsite & service & facilities are dropping standards.
With the economy of Vanuatu still trying to recover from Covid,, lets hope there are improvements very soon for this hotel chain, otherwise I dont see a positive future.

Great place to stay. Beautiful grounds and large area. Food was good at the restaurants and the staff was great!
Not many people around so one of our tours was cancelled to the next day but was GREAT when it happened.
I highly recommend this resort!

This property blends in beautifully with the environment and has lovely views over to Erakor Island. The rooms could probably do with some upgrades but they are comfortable with everything you need. This is not a 5* luxury modern hotel, and some people have given it amazingly bad reviews, but we really enjoyed it, and there were plenty of families there enjoying it. We did not think the range of food was great for us - a buffet dinner, but we don't eat that much, and the food in the main restaurant was lovely but very large portions, and a bigger variety of smaller meals would be good. There are only taxis from the resort to town and these can be very hard to get especially on cruise ship days. There are beach activities every day, and small catamarans and kayaks to sail, and a trip to Erakor Island is very easy as the little boat goes from a jetty at the end of the resort. I think this is a really good resort for families.

The best feature of the resort was the friendly and accommodating staff. Cocktails and drinks were delicious however the buffet lacked flair and remained the same most days.
The resort is tired and needs a revamp for the prices being charged in comparison to other similar rated resorts we have stayed. The pools are also great however through in children in what is a relaxing resort and well it becomes noisy, loud and loses the appeal that would make it a relaxing resort. Location is also great with a beautiful view. Make an investment in up dating the facilities and rooms and show some flair and enthusiasm in presenting a more modern cuisine in your buffet and you might just nail it.

We were supposed to have a lagoon sunset trip but it never happened due to engine failure or not enough other people. Internet was very poor and very expensive. But overall stay was very pleasant.

We just got married and went for the first time to Warwick Le logon we had such beautiful service and amazing time staff were very friendly and always saying hello
Also management done a great job to keep us happy
Would go there anytime
It will be our go to for holidays
We actually came back but we miss the place already .

My husband I stayed here for a week. It’s not a 4.5 star resort but more like 3.5. Pools are not heated so majority of people just sat around and didn’t go in. Dinner buffet was average and not worth the money. We ended up eating out for dinner every night after the first buffet experience and can say there are plenty of extremely good restaurants within walking distance or a short bus ride away.
The hotel staff didn’t seem like they were ever happy and apart from Glenda no one really smiled.
We were VIP guests and received a feee boat tour but could never redeem it because they needed 4 people and not to run it. They didn’t even put us on a list so that we might be able to go with another family or couple. They just simply said they couldn’t do it.
This is the only resort that doesn’t have free WiFi - and it is expensive ~$35 a day. Even all cafe’s and restaurants outside the resort had free WiFi.
We were laughed at by the reception staff after asking about a kids activity that was on the notice board. We knew it was a kids activity but still wanted to understand what it was about.
No one was helpful about tours instead we went to the island across the bay who even though we went hotel guest were more then happy to provide information, recommendations and book the tours on your behalf.

Our sheets and towels were not changed in the week we were there.

You can tell the owner does not invest in their staff for development and training.
