There is no elevator for the property, so if you have issues with Stairs you need to request to be on the first floor.

The bathroom door handle was broken off, leaving a sharp edge that could cut someone.

The sink faucet in the bathroom leaked quite a bit making it difficult to leave any personal items on the surface around the sink.

The bathtub did not drain fast enough, leaving me to stand in dirty water while taking a shower.

There was a door to an adjoining room that had several pieces of tape around the door edges and a piece of furniture partially blocking as if they were trying to prevent the door from being used. Felt really secure.

Speaking of secure, the safety latch on the main door was removed, you could see where the hardware was attached from the holes in the molding, but no safety latch.

It was an inexpensive stay, but I feel I actually overpaid for this room, which is bad.

The moment that I walked in the front receptionist was not friendly. The room was gross. It was not even cleaned. The towels were used. You could smell the scent of someone else's body odor. The tub was not cleaned. The front door of the bathroom was covered in a white substance. Use your imagination. They were hairs in the bathtub and the bed sheets had hair on them and you can tell that they were not cleaned at all. If you're looking for a place to stay that is dirt cheap and you don't care that you have to sleep in a bed that someone else slept in the night before then this would be the place for you to go. But if you want a good night's rest and a clean bed with a nice shower, I suggest you go somewhere else. This place was not worth it.

Our next door neighbors were literally up and entertaining and partying all night between numerous rooms. We were unable to get assistance via the direct phone line as staff never answered the phone. Despite us going to the front desk 3 times and attempting to call at least 20, no resolution ever happened. We were up all night and unable to get any sleep. Since we were from out of town and had an appointment in the morning, it forced us to remain in this circumstance. Breakfast option was coffee, tea, oj, packaged honey buns. Very unfortunate circumstances that could have been prevented if staff did their job…….

I understand this is a budget hotel, and I wasn’t expecting luxury. However, there’s a big difference between being inexpensive and being dirty. The room was not just outdated—it was unclean. The sheets had stains and hair on them, which is completely unacceptable regardless of the price. Cleanliness should be the minimum standard for any hotel. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We booked here because we liked the chain, and the included breakfast. When we checked in the woman checking us in barely spoke to us, she did not even welcome us to the hotel. When my daughter went to use the tv we found there was no remote, so had to go ask for one by speaking through the security camera. When she brought the remote she didn't speak, just shoved a remote taped together at us then walked away. There was only 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper (for 3 people) and only 3 tissues. The included breakfast consisted of stale honey buns, hot water with no tea bags and a pitcher of something none of us wanted to investigate. The shower was nice, the bed was nice, the room was nice but old and dingy with the alarm clock unplugged and tossed under the nightstand. The location and parking were quite nice. We think this location may have more of an employee issue than anything else.

The room was disgusting. There was a strip of paint coming off the ceiling, there were whiskers in the sink from someone shaving, there were clumps of hair on the floor, hair on the sheets and pillowcases, there was a part of a wrapper on the floor from the bar of soap, a hair tie on the floor, when I turned the shower on, black particles came out of the faucet, and the entire room was generally dirty. In order to close the shades, I needed to use a clip from the hanger to keep the shade closed. I would have paid double to stay in a clean room. I was awaken by someone puking very loudly in the middle of the night, which just about put me over the edge. The place is disgusting.

They were in my room when they were told not to be...the remote came up missing and when I confronted the desk they swore nobody went in the room but I shut the TV off with it in the morning and threw it on the bed it was nowhere in the room when I got in after work. I do not recommend staying there unless you would like to feel intruded upon.

The first 2nd-floor room assigned had a constantly running toilet, so we asked for another room.
The second 1st floor room was ok but half of the first-floor hallway carpet was very wet.
An initial $50 deposit was required, to be refunded in 3 days, yet we have not seen the refund 4 days later.

Sheets may have been clean but sure didn’t look like it. Toilet looked like it had been plucked out of a garbage dump although it was useable. Hallway carpet was filthy. No drinking cups, no coffee pot, hair dryer had been removed from bathroom wall. Breakfast was VERY marginal. Not the typical Super 8 standards I am used to.

At 5 am, there was staff talking very loudly in the lobby which woke me up and kept me up since our room was only 2 doors down. There was no continental breakfast set up at all.
We have stayed here before and this was a low point.

Staff tried hard but ownership obviously doesn’t care about guests. They were woefully understaffed, same person worked day and night, reception and “housekeeping”
I had to stay here 19 days and the sheets and towels were never changed, nobody even offered. I had to beg for toilet paper and clean towels from the front desk. “Breakfast” was Little Debbie honeybuns - and NOTHING ELSE! Lukewarm and stale coffee and cheap OJ from a dirty pitcher. Pathetic. The hallways constantly reeked of weed, and several times of meth being smoked in rooms.
I understand this is a cheap motel but some care needs to taken. Hire some staff, clean the rooms and try to keep the tweekers under control.

The staff was very nice. Slow checking in when we arrived , but they were very friendly. The room was clean, but renovations would help a lot. The ceiling has was looked like cooking oil stains. As someone who travels a lot, this was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. Front desk staff seemed to be have aphasia. They didn’t speak except to say sign and we have a $50 refundable damage charge.
The room was straight out of the 70’s. The bed spread had a baseball sized hole. The sink clogged and full of what appeared to be shaving cream and hair. The shower would not turn off, and there was a piece of glass in the bedding. The safety latch was missing and appeared to be torn off there was no lock on the window. The remote had no back, but did work fine. When I shared this experience with the front desk, she took the glass and otherwise didn’t respond. Only stayed there because I had booked a hotel for the wrong date, so had no place to stay. RUN.

Checking in, she couldn’t find my reservation or payment, and gave an email address that wasn’t mine. Red flag.

I showed her the hotels.com charge in my credit card transactions.

She then acted like she found it and I gave her my credit card to be charged a 50$ refundable fee for “incidentals.”

In the room I pulled back the sheets, they were visibly dirty and not changed.

I asked for clean sheets and while in my room she asked how long I was staying and was I traveling alone. Red flags.

Then I saw a cockroach.

I should have left, but it was late and I was exhausted after a solo drive from AZ.

This part I can’t prove, but at 4 AM I saw an alert for a suspicious charge, an online clothing outlet. I locked my card. Also saw I’d been charged twice for the room, by hotels.com and by the motel.

I cancelled the card. A new card was issued.

The same day another fraudulent charge came on the NEW CREDIT CARD that I didn’t have yet!

The credit card company found a digital card account, requiring my personal information.

I suspect this happened at the motel, and there is an investigation by Wyndham and the credit card company.

Checking out, the desk person played dumb and he couldn’t find my double charge for the room. A “manager” said he would reverse the charge.

It was never refunded, or the 50$ refundable charge.

Wyndham investigated, the motel denies double charging me.

AVOID THIS HOTEL. IT SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM HOTELS.COM.

As soon as we pulled up I got an icky feeling, the outside was flooded and absolutely riddled with trash. The inside hallways on our way to the room, exactly the same, filthy. I wish I could say the room was better, one moldy towel. Stains all over the room... And don't use the tissue box unless your fully vaccinated against all communicable diseases. Ohhhh and the surprise $50 fee that was charged at check in .. unless your looking to bang skanks and blow lines this place isn't for you

I have stayed here many times but the service and staff seems to go down each time I go there. I'm not sure who was arguing until 3am but it kept me awake most of the night. I thought it was the front desk manager and her significant other....he was flipping between anger and anger so I really hesitated to find out what was going on. I believe another person staying in another room came out and told them to be quiet....things settled down but I only got a couple of hours of sleep. In the morning, I went out for breakfast but there was really nothing to eat except a couple of packaged pastries....again a downgrade from previous visits. The person on staff did offer to make me fresh coffee which I was very thankful for.....she was very nice. I asked for coffee because while I had coffee and condiments to make coffee in the room....there was no coffee maker.....strange. I only spent one night there and decided the next five nights in town would be at a better location. This was my go to location for years due to the convenience and location....I'm moving on.

You could tell as you pulled up this wasn’t gonna be good. The lobby was ok. Once we got to the room it wasn’t so good. The floors were dirty.they definitely hadn’t been swept or mopped. Everything was just dirty. Even the covers that protect the beds. They had visible dirt and I’m pretty sure blood was on one of them. After inspecting the beds which did have bed bug covers which relaxed we a tiny bit, we opted for the one which passed inspection. There was hair left in the tub and the mirror didn’t look like it had been cleaned well ever maybe. There was also an odor.

Was in town to visit family and go to a comedy show. I needed a place to stay for the night. we have stayed at other hotels in this chain before and they have been great, but this particular one was very outdated and dirty. The hotel is very dirty, the room was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke and mildew. There was hair in the bed on the sheets, and there was bug crawling on the bed. The chair in room filthy, lamp shades filthy, walls and ceiling dirty. As far as cleanliness, very unacceptable.
The bed was very uncomfortable, I was afraid to lay on the bedding.
Customer services could have been better, we were denied to be changed to another room.
I asked for a refund and to check out, but was told I couldn’t get a refund until the manger came, which he never did. I was told someone would call me and this never happened.

This was by far the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had at a Super 8. When we arrived, there was no one at the front desk, and we had to wait over 20 minutes just to check in. When someone finally showed up, they checked us into the wrong room ,a single bed instead of the double room we booked.

After that, we were moved to a double-bed room that was filthy. There was mold in the bathroom, mold inside the refrigerator, and a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the room. The beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom was disgusting, and everything felt unclean.

To make matters worse, the staff were completely untrained and lacked basic customer service skills. They were unable to provide an invoice when I asked for it, and the billing process was confusing and unprofessional. We were given credits and then recharged for another room and a $50 security deposit , I genuinely have no idea if we were double-charged or not. The staff were all from India.

We’ve stayed at several Super 8 locations before, but this one was by far the worst. Poor service, dirty rooms, billing issues, and no sense of accountability. Avoid this location at all costs.

Fine for a place to seep in the Syracuse area. We found it to be clean but very dated with a strong mildew smell in the room. As the other reviews stated there is a poor effort for breakfast basically non existing. It is conveniently located to SU (about 20 minutes). It was not worth the price but Everything else was sold out. If you can gut it for sub $100 it will serve the purpose.

After check in, it was down hill from there. We had an iron but no ironing board. I went searching for a maid for an ironing board…set it up and it was a pice of junk…literally fell over and had stains all over the cover.
We had a chair in our room that we wouldn’t even sit it…all stained and nasty.
In the morning, we had to call the front desk as the blow dryer didn’t work…they did have another one at our room within five minutes.
Went downstairs for our “continental breakfast” which consisted of regular coffee (no decaf) and hot water. There were plastic spoons and forks, but not sure why as there was no food there a 8:00am.
Would I choose this hotel again? Absolutely not!!!

The hotel stay was just okay. There seems to be longtime residents throughout the hotel and at times, really noisy. The owners need to upgrade more than the floors and bedding. The TV would shut off when using the barely working microwave. The remote barely worked. The staff seemed decent enough, they run that hotel on a shoestring staff. Once in our room the bathroom fan didnt work the remote for the tv wasnt funtioning properly. I think i would have slept better in the bath tub. The clerk told me it was $35 per night, which would have been an additional $350. I said that it didn't say anything like that on the website. The clerk didn't seem like he cared and that I was just bothering him. I told him I'd get in touch with the booking site I used to see if i could get a refund for the other nights since i was there already there. And after about 3 minutes of not talking to me, he finally acknowledged me and states, \"well did you get ahold of them?\", I again told him I'll get in touch with them for the other nights and already agreed for checking in for that night.

The first thing we noticed when we were on the floor for our room was the smell of cigarettes and pot wafting through some of the rooms. The room itself wasn't too bad, but the bathroom smelled really bad of cigarettes and pot, we assumed it was probably wafting through the ventilation fans from other rooms. There was a hole the size of a dime in the bathtub and mold on the ceiling by the ventilation fan. I unfortunately didnt get all the photos taken of the looks of the room. The wallpaper where the beds were had tape to keep the wallpaper from falling down. The large photo fram over the one bed had the anchor removed tlfrom the wall and was partially hanging over the bed (I'm not sure how heavy the photo is but it seems dangerous).

Nothing was as advertised

This was to be a handicap accessible room , it wasn't the bathroom had regular tub that inaccessible , the toilet was too low, and the bed was too high.
The fact it was to have breakfast was one pot of coffee, one pircher of apple juice and small prepackaged Danish.
