Staff was pleasant and helpful. Check-in/check-out was easy. Nice location with harbor views. Would definitely stay here again!

10/10 love this hotel. My favorite staycaetion spot in Syracuse, always clean, always friendly staff, no negatives.
Karen
Check in rep “Ty” was friendly and welcoming. Space is clean, bright. Room is comfortable and well designed.

The good: the bed and linens were comfortable, air conditioning was adequate and parking was free (although across the street in an open, unsupervised lot).
The bad: The \"Aloft\" appeared to me to be the lowest end Marriott that charges a high end rate. The whole setup is confusing from check-in to the horrible breakfast food that is nothing more than $8 frozen and nuked breakfast sandwiches, $4 stale cookies and $4 frozen muffins which you order from the check in desk and pickup at a window when they scream your order across the dirty lobby. We were overcharged for this so called food as well. I need to rethink booking Marriott.

Our second stay overall at Aloft for CNY Pride and it was just as amazing as the first time, we had so much fun we are already planning our third stay in August for the state fair, the staff is so welcoming and the rooms are clean and cozy! Thank you all so much for the amazing stay!!

I had a wonderful stay at Aloft Hotel in New York! The hotel was modern, clean, and had such a fun atmosphere. The staff was welcoming and helpful from check-in to check-out, making the experience even better. The rooms were comfortable and stylish, and the location made it easy to explore the city and enjoy nearby attractions. I loved the upbeat vibe and attention to detail throughout the hotel. If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in NYC, I definitely recommend Aloft Hotel!

Perfectly good stay. Everything was clean and issue free. Friendly staff. Very standard experience.

Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly l. The walls are think and we could hear alot of noise in the hall and the doors are not soft closing so when people came out of the room the doors slammed shut. But I would stay there again

The hater in room 308 (I believe that was our room) sounded like a jet engine, going on and off every 10 minutes. Not sure if it was sick or if the model is just a cheap, loud model.
Nancy
room was great and clean
Uriri
Fantastic, just needed better breakfast options
Andrea

I booked this hotel because my medical facility that I came for recommended them. I just want to say every employee that we had an encounter with from the shuttle, front desk, housekeeping and the bar staff were all amazing! We had to extend our trip but the transition to extend our trip was super easy thanks to the manager of the hotel! The hotel is clean, everyone is so helpful and the hotel ground is well kept! If we have to come back we would definitely come back to this hotel again! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The staff was very friendly and personable. The space looked and smelled clean. The only downside is the parking is outside the hotel (across the street).
But i would absolutely stay here again if i choose to stay in Syracuse again!

Front desk rep was wonderful. The hotel is modern and clean. Only saw a string of hair on the floor but nothing that needed to be brought to the staff attention. There is air freshener type smell in the air but it’s not overbearing. Usually I can’t tolerate those but it didn’t bother me. I love that the room had a window to allow for fresh air in.
Mia
Very clean and peaceful stay! The staff were very friendly helpful and generous! I would definitely stay here again !

Great and many food options in lobby! Parking was free and plentiful. No issues with room, cleanliness, or staff. Would recommend/stay again when in area.
Jacqueline
The hotel was very clean, quiet, comfortable beds , easy parking , friendly stsff

A bus full of college athletes came on our second night. We were in the pool and all of them, with their coaches, arrived and proceeded to take over the pool to do training/exercising. The pool was too small for us to enjoy a relaxed swim while they were doing their thing; we were figuratively \"forced out\". If the hotel accepts sports teams and allows them to use their facilities (such as the pool), they should be required to use it after normal guest hours. This was the only negative part of our stay!!!

Great staff and the property was in excellent shape.
Loved the bartender. My only complaint is the parking situation. You had to park in a lot across the street and a bit down from the hotel,I was concerned about the safety and felt the lot was not secure

For the price, absolute robbery. The person at front desk was amazingly helpful, but the pillow cases were an old and off color and the air conditioner while worked sounded like a jet engine. Location is fine and convenient but Syracuse has an odd issue of massively overpriced budget and mid tier hotels that charge high rates
Matt
Stayed here for the Inner Harbor Taco/Margarita festival. Great location - steps away from the Inner Harbor and a quick drive to downtown Cuse. Nice bar. Nice pool (though a bit chilly) Great snack options including Gluten Free choices (which we both need) The room was nice , only complaint is the noise. Walls must be paper thin because we heard external noises all night. Not terrible but not great if you're in search of some solid sack time. Not the cheapest option but if you don't have a DD or want to pay for an Uber its perfect.
Jim
Air conditioning was either on and freezing out the room or off and room was hot. Thermostat did not work properly. A/C was very loud causing me to get up several times prior to a 8 hour drive the next day. My son and family stayed in another room and shower head fell off in the shower. They had to switch rooms. I stay at this hotel every year to or from trips to Canada. Food was good.
Lisa
Very nice place. Up to date and clean.
Amy
Easy to walk to destiny usa, brewery, spagetti factory
Shannon
First off, all staff was very friendly and nice. Always there to help and assist. The rooms, pool, and common areas all super clean. Very close to the mall and surrounding restaurants making it the perfect spot to stay. Loved the GF options for food as someone with celiac disease many hotels I have stayed at do not offer GF so that was a huge plus! We will be staying here again and its pet friendly !!! One of my hotel favorites for me and my daughter. !!

Nice area, but not fully developed. Had to drive for dinner; not able to walk.
Nicholas
Really fun lobby area with free pool table, table games that can be signed out at no cost, etc. Plinko game at check in where you win prizes from free breakfast to drinks at the bar. Everything was clean but there was a strong maybe carpet shampoo smell when we got to the room, but overall it was a nice stay. Bar tender left early, granted it was a Sunday night, but it altered our plans, only reason for the 4 star sections.

First time experiencing and I very much appreciate it !

We really appreciated the staff and vibe. The staff that checked us in were friendly, professional and knowledgeable! Loved the bar in the lobby and room was clean and bed was comfy. Highly recommend!!!

Great place to stay in Syracuse, close to Onondaga Creek walk trail for walking and biking and this trail leads to NYS trail around Onondaga Lake.
Good breakfast food, nice patio for outside lounging.
Very helpful front desk staff.

They were dirty gloves left in AC, a woman was drug by her arm and slammed in a vehicle by a man, and people smoking weed.

Great stay!
So clean! Super friendly staff gave us the warmest welcome. Our room was facing the road, so it was a bit loud at night, but overall a great experience!

I loved the staff; friendly and customer oriented

Booked a stay for CNY pride and it was perfect! The staff is welcoming and friendly and the rooms were clean and cozy with amazing AC, it was my first time booking and staying at a hotel independently and they made the process quick and easy I would definitely recommend Aloft to friends and family and already exited for our next visit!
Bob
Aloft never disappoints. We’ve stayed at quite a few of them. They re always clean, easy to get to and we’re always met with friendly staff.
The Aloft Syracuse Inner Harbor was our last stop on a week’s vacation. We chose the inner harbor location so we could walk easily to get something to eat - which was the case. A brewery was a short 3-6 min walk.
Our room was great - as usual. A super comfortable bed with excellent pillows. The shower was great as well. Alofts are so nice to stay at. If there's one in the area we’re going - we stay there.

Great hotel. Very clean. Quiet. And in a great location.

This was a great stay. The hotel has something for everyone. The area around it is mostly empty lots but in a few years it will be an amazing part of town. Easy walk to good restaurants.

It was ok.

Came to the a loft for my son’s birthday. Everything was very nice. The location is beautiful also and close distance to the mall.

Staff were fantastic , the hotel is lovely and very central for all activities

It is very comfortable! The bar opened at 5:00 pm and the bartender was awesome! He really payed attention to details! He was very kind! The front desk (all of them) in morning and night were very kind! The room was very clean and comfortable! Thank you!
Cassandra
Slept here for the night after a concert. Was easy to get to from venue. Very friendly staff was happy about bar service and was able to get food from bar [wings were great] . There's a nice outdoor area to relax and the hotel lobby lounge was also great. Room was big , clean and bed was comfortable and clean. Hallways were very fragrant [I'm guessing from carpet cleaner] but it didnt bother me.. great stay and. Would stay again.
Elvia
We loved it.
Tara
Modern, clean
Lyndsay
The location wasn’t the safest area for a mother and young daughter. The room was dirty, walls were paper thin to the point I could hear word for word conversations in several rooms on the floor. There was a family fighting not just arguing but being physical that I could hear. The situation was handled however my daughter and I got zero sleep. Parking was across the street which has a wooded area to the side of it, we had to leave while it still dark to get to a competition and didn’t feel safe walking over. There were several homeless people and addicts wandering the area. I would not stay here again, had I known this information prior I would’ve booked elsewhere.
Dina
Encourage the workers to represent the brand more professionally. Missed opportunity to say hello, welcome the guest, answer in a pleasant manner.

No free airport shuttle
My only issue is that I waited at the airport for over 20 min for the shuttle that is listed in the hotels.com description but the hotel doesn't have a free airport shuttle service. That should be corrected so that others don't have the same problem. I eventually ubered it.

This is not the place to go if you are looking for a romantic get away. The walls are very thin, you could hear everything that goes on in the hallway and in the rooms next to you. Maybe the front desk person should try to put families with kids on the same floor.
David
It is a fine place for a night or two. Personally, I was happy that the hotel provided access to our Netflix account so we could relax continuing to watch the series we were watching at home. That was a nice touch, as was the complimentary fruit always available.
Adrian
Love the staff so great
Cristy
Not worth the amount paid
The shower went from too cold to melt your flesh off and the shower head wouldn't stay upright. The water tasted like pond water. The heater was very loud. The windows leaked cold air into the room. There were loud drunk people roaming the halls until very late.
Kevin
