Our check-in was fine. The desk attendant was courteous.
This is an older hotel that management is doing a good job of keeping it up. Our room was nice but after our 1st use of the bathroom we noticed water on the floor from a leak. I mentioned this on the Check-in review on this site. Within 15 minutes of posting that review, we received a call from the manager, asking for more information on the leak. He said he would be up to check it out. Arriving, he concluded it could not be repaired that night. He moved us to another room. We move and were satisfied with the new room.
The hotel manager was proactive when he saw our review. We were pleased with his quick response and with the action he took. He receives an A+ rating from us.

Old building had a musky old smell. Shower head was installed incorrectly. Leaking everywhere. No breakfast at property. Beds were like cots with a topper on it. Clean enough room. Convenient location.
gregory
Very clean very comfortable fair priced
Michael
The room was basic, you get what you pay for. It's in the name... It met our needs for one night, meaning a place to lay your head for the night, shower and go. It was clean and quiet, but could use some updating. There is also nothing nearby or walkable for a snack or drink.
Kari
Quick check in. Needs updating. Quiet. Easy parking.
Teri
Nice little hotel. It was very clean and well maintained
Would stay there again
Would stay there again

These guys are awesome especially when your in a pinch and they have smoking rooms still - Thank You for that. Keep taking care of people like you do :)
Patrick
This is a great place for a cheap couple of nights. Rooms are comfortable..
scott
Easy parking. Dated but clean. Good value.
Rob
Staff friendly and inviting...room and bathroom was clean...room was cleaned and beds made daily.
Deborah
This was my fourth stay, bed is amazing, everything very clean
William
The room had a really strong perfumey smell from some industrial strength air freshner. I had to open the window and the door for about an hour to clear it out. The furniture is a little outdated (cigarette burns in the night stand)
Allen
Horrible, dirty and smelly. I checked out after 20 minutes as I was getting nauseous. You can see that I checked in the Quality Inn 30 minutes later. I should not pay for this room.
Margarita
Everything was nice, thank you!
Edward
Parking was easy. Very basic room but extremely clean. Perfect for overnight stay.
John
Very clean and quiet 😎
tom
Way nicer than we expected!
Jody
Extremely clean rooms, convenient location and courteous owner. I would rather my business to a private owner who takes pride in their business and customer service.
Mary
Great stay, wish heat would have worked, the room was freezing cold!!
megan
Room was very clean, wifi was good, staff nice, accommodating and attentive. Room was musty smelling.
Karen
Room was clean and cozy
John
We have stayed many times and continue to stay in the future
Detlef
Clean room. Bathtub was clogged however
Richard
I have stayed here many times and like the clean comfortable rooms and it's directly off a main road and a short drive to the airport. The only negative is some noise from the nearby highway but it isn't not bad.
Noel
Clean room in an aging property bathroom adequate beds comfortable staff friendly close to dining outlets and Syracuse shopping.
Sophie
Stayed one night, and it was a good stay. The building and facilities were a bit outdated looking, but everything was as advertised and worked. Usually there is something dirty in most hotels I stay in, but honestly, this room was very clean. Only needed to interact staff once to get key card, but interaction was quick and easy. Would stay again, especially because it was affordable relative to other places in the area.
Lester
Large quiet safe parking area with playground. Restaurants nearby. Staff very accommodating. It’s vintage. Very clean, roomy, comfy beds. Housekeeping daily. Would definitely stay again!
Andrea
Comfortable stay, close to the airport. Excellent value, would come again!
Benjamin
Good motel for the price
Deborah
It was a clean room and the staff was very nice.
William
To save money the refrigerator was turned off so there was an extended time to get items cold. Bathroom door was sticky and hard to close. No coffee in the office. Tired motel.
Darrin
A simple, quaint place to stay. Very quiet. Staff was wonderful and the location is just a 10-minute drive to Syracuse Airport. Would definitely stay here again.
Kim
It is a blast from the past, but very clean and affordable
Jamey
Very clean and friendly staff.
Michael
The rooms were very clean, and the staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. It’s an older motel, but it’s kept in excellent, very clean condition. Since Covid I’ve gotten used to not having the room cleaned every day, but the staff cleaned it daily, and immaculately!
NATALIE
Good for a motel
For a roadside motel, this one is better than others. Very clean, room was comfortable, nice size refrigerator and microwave. They do have housekeeping and we received fresh towels, which is getting to be rare among even some of the chain hotels. The bathroom was clean, but small and the fan was very loud. I strongly recommend bringing your own products. A new shower curtain would make a huge difference, as would some type of shelf. The property is well maintained though, and the area is very convenient to restaurants and grocery stores (Wegman's and Price Chopper are very close by). We stayed for SU Family Weekend when better hotels were either booked or price gouging, this Budget Inn was adequate for a cheap price. If you just need a clean, comfortable place to sleep, this was fine.
Greg
Great for fishing boats with plenty places to charge batteries
john
Pleasant Stay
Older, basic motel but it was very clean, everything worked, and we were very comfortable.
Kathleen
Close to the airport.
Vijay
The rooms are good however one should pick the non smoking room for better experience.
Nicholas
I'm not sure why all the love for this property but it is definitely \"budget\". The place is actually a motel, not a hotel, so be advised. The rooms are very outdated, dank, and humid. While the staff was friendly, that's about the only positive. I chose this place from the high praise reviews and it certainly would have been better to spend an extra $20 to get a far nicer place.
Beds are not really beds but basically just fold-out beds, with thin mattresses and a straight, wire grid bed frame. Shampoo is a thin ketchup-pack dollop of liquid, that is impossible to open. The bathroom looked like it hadn't been updated since the 1970s, but at least the water was hot (though low pressure and an ancient showerhead). Dank lighting in the bathroom (one of the old $5 glass globes with a 40-watt bulb is the sole source of light) and though there were several lamps around the room, the room itself was pretty dark as well. The in-wall AC was loud and noisy but did the job. The highway is fifty yards off the backside of the rooms, so traffic noise is an is. The second floor is completely handicap/elderly inaccessible, with no elevator.
No breakfast is provided. The ice machine is a hole in the wall near the front desk. No food to speak of at the property. Wendy's is about a 10-15 minute walk away, so plan accordingly. No airport shuttle. It's about a ten-minute drive from the terminal, so you need a car or Uber. Free parking in the lot.
If you need a place to crash, it will suffice.

I was surprised by the amount of positive responses to a Budge Inn, but it they were all justified. The staff is wonderful. They even have swings, a slide and jungle gym for the kids. Definitely, a great place for the money.
Vijay
The rooms have smell of smoke and it's not good when you enter. Needs some room fresheners. Other than that it's a great place to stay.
Richard
Very clean, bed was comfortable price was excellent
Melody L
Old and musty. It was a last-minute booking because my plane was cancelled and all the nicer hotels were booked.

Don’t let the word budget equate with cheap or shoddy. The property is well cared for. It is well worth staying here.
Maria
The owners are so wonderful, so accommodating as we arrived later than expected-11:45pm and check in ends at 11:30pm. I called and they were able to assist us. The place is so clean and cared for, fresh flowers adorning the property. Very impressed.
Claire
Fantastic welcoming person at desk. Very helpful. It was quiet. DEFINITELY worth it. Will stay again. 😊 thank you Budgrtbin at Syracuse airport !
Claudine
The facilities were clean and comfortable but dated.
Juan
Convenient location for airport connection...

Old but clean as a 5 stars
This place is really clean. Old but clean. And the Price is great for the localization. Owners are very kind and helpful.
Ian
Stayed for the night after a concert Friday night. Very quiet, clean and relaxed! Alittle dated but almost in a cute way! Again, 1am on a Friday night, no one was outside lurking around, no noise, etc! gonna be the new stay for concerts
Jeanine
This is a quiet and clean two story hotel with outside entry. The bathroom is very 1950’s with pink fixtures. Overall, the night was comfortable.
Doris
Was ok. Did not want to climb steps
Marcus
Affordable, quick, clean, and friendly.
Katie
The room was clean, however did have a bit of a musty smell. It is definitely dated a bit, but overall it is still a great motel especially for the price. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Perfect stay for a quick little trip
Charles
Clean, fresh linen daily. Affordable
Alison
Amazing place to spend the night. Super clean and d friendly courteous staff.
Lisa
We stay every year. The owners are great and take care of all our needs. I love this place. See you next year
Judi
The room was clean. Nice size refrigerator and microwave.
Debra
It was a very nice, clean room.
Elena
Pretty quiet and comfortable. I would only recommend the owners to install smoke detectors and announce penalties for smoking in non-smoking rooms to avoid cigarette odours.
Miguel
Good value for the money.
Veronica
Clean and decent place to stay.
David
Rooms with clean. jacuzzi was relaxing and you can smoke
SOHEIL
The room was a little noisy
Cynthia C.
Such wonderful people! 100% accommodating & attentive. The room was spotlessly clean. Absolutely lovely. The beds were comfy. The furniture was in great shape. The appliances worked perfectly. We will stay here again.
BORA
Just bad

Easy check-in, fairly clean but just older so has that smell
Lisa
This is an older property, but has been well maintained. It felt cozy - like staying at someone's grandmother's. Front desk gentleman was very kind and friendly.
Sarah

Okay at best
The Inn served its purpose. We needed a quick place to say. It has not been updated in decades. It appeared clean….. old carpet throughout…. how clean can it be? It was as basic as could be. I’m not saying to not stay there but you get what you pay for.
Maryna
It is a good place to crash overnight. But it is a very old facility therefore the smell inside the room is awful and everything is very old.
Randall
A nice place to lay down my head for a few hours
Amy
I'd stay again
Dated furniture. Smells old. Not a bad smell, just antique and older. Clean, comfy bed. Heater worked great. The refrigerator didn't work, but it was a clean! It fit the purpose. It was quiet, Direct TV worked.
Bruce
Smooth stay
Stewart
Keep in mind this is an old drive-up motel. The owners seem to be doing what they can to modernize. TV is good with lots of stations, there's a microwave and mini-fridge.... but ... the beds are rock hard, the room was musty/old smelling, the bathroom is really small with 1970's tile and colors... but again ... if you just need a reasonably priced place near the highway to catch a nights sleep, it wasn't so bad... just don't expect a Hilton property.
Joseph
Very clean, in good repair and well appointed. If you are going for a 2-star hotel then look no further. You will find nothing better but probably worse.
DONNA
Clean and comfortable at a reasonable price.
Hoa
Need some renovating but good for the budget price
Real
The carpet in our room definitely needs to be change.
Torres
Good price lots of parking space and clean 👌
Jeanne
Just overall rundown and dirty and not enough amenities for $90 a night
David
The bathroom windows could use shades to block porch lights
Melissa
Quiet and comfortable.
Randall
Older property but very clean and well maintained, great service, everything worked. Excellent value.
Lorraine
Clean and comfortable room but the coffee maker did not work.

No-frills Motel, but kind of kiche
This is a very no-frills motel. It was nice enough though. It has a 1960s meets 1930s kind of vibe. The bed was comfortable and the shower was clean and had some hot water. The water pressure wasn't great, but it did the job. The room had a fridge and microwave, which was great. The wifi was strong and worked great for meetings. There is no elevator, it is a motel, so if you are like me and have issues with stairs, you might want to let them know ahead of time. The room is non-smoking, but people smoke on the walkway outside of your room. The area is a bit walkable, but not great. If you stay here, you will need a car. It is a motel after all. The staff are friendly, but they don't really understand no services. Every day I was woken up by either a knock on the door or a phone call to ask if I needed anything. I work nights, so this disrupted my sleep. If I could convince them to not do that, I would stay there again. (Serious about the phone call thing. When I didn't answer the door, they let it ring 14 times. Who does that?!?)
Irene
The room was good. It was OK, clean no special purse.
Sara
Straight forward motel stay with no issues
Nicholas
Good for a place to sleep. Nothing spectacular.
Peter
Second time we have stayed at this property. It is owner operated and although the property is rather tired, it is very clean. The beds are made daily as well, the towels are changed daily.
