Staff were amazing and very helpful.

It’s probably the low end of the budget scale hotels I’ve been in otherwise. Sheets were stained and had crumbs of some type all over them. The blanket was as thin as a sheet and the bed felt like it was a 20 year old $100 queen mattress. You could feel and hear every spring and sunk in the middle like a deflating air mattress.

It’s old and low budget so I didn’t expect anything fancy or ‘nice’ but it also just didn’t feel clean in general.

I stayed a night for work purposes don’t know that I would stay here again, even if only to get 5 hours of sleep between turnaround shifts. Served its purpose for my stay that time though.

I could not stay due to the condition of the room and property in general. I booked a non smoking room but it reaked of smoke. There were burns on the dirty bedding and men cat calling me the minute I arrived. The clerk told me to contact Expedia to get my refund. I did so before I even left. Management later refused to refund me eventhough I had the clerk sign my receipt saying I did not stay. When I called the property directly I cursed at and hung up on. I didn't expect much more than a clean safe place to sleep and shower as my son and I were just passing through. We ended up sleeping in our car at a rest area. The rest area was much safer and cleaner than this place.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Very ran down. We booked multiple rooms. Holes in bedding. We had to clean our bathtubs before we used them. One of our rooms had not been cleaned. All rooms had damage such benches broken and cosmetic marks such as big dents in the fridge. Food crumbs all over the floor and used plastic ware. The desk had marijuana and white residue lines all over it. The ceiling panels in all rooms had evidence of stained water leaks. Toilets were the only clean items. TV's didnt work, lights didn't work. Regulars were allowed to cut in the line of those checking in and were told \"we can't wait until the off season\". The only reason they got a 2-star was because the beds were comfy. The smell in the whole place is horrible. Cat pee or something like that strong. If you are a family, go somewhere else. If you want a romantic night, go somewhere else. Not worth being close to attractions such as cedar point.

There was no stay. We booked 2 non smoking rooms. When we went to check in they had one room as a smoking room. The girl behind the desk couldn't even get up off her butt to greet her guests (we were not the only ones) and then left the desk while we were attempting to find other accommodations. We ended up pay 3x what we had booked someplace else. We had booked with Wolf Inn a month in advance.

Room was filthy. Found a bag of trash underneath the sink that had to been there awhile. Knats flying all around it. Bed clothing was stained and dirty! Floors had hairballs all in it. Trash found around the beds. Towels were stained black. People dealing drugs at night and smelled highly of Marijuana. Desk had a drawer thay was broken and fell off on my foot. The photos on the page look nothing like it when u get there. Needs updated badly! Its literally disgusting!!! I nevrr complain but this is the worst place ive ever stayed and ive stayed a lot of cheap places.

I would like my full refund. We did NOT stay at the Wolf Inn. We arrived at approximately 4:00 and we were given a key card. The door to the room was wide open, the tv was on and the room smelled like cigarettes. The bed was not made and had been stripped down to the mattress. There were several individuals hanging around in the parking lot. I don't really know what was going on and I won't speculate, but I walked back to the front desk and told them that we did not want to stay and that we wanted a full refund. The young woman working the front desk was kind and understanding - she said this sort of thing had never happened before, but she didn't seem to know what was happening either.

if you are a guy staying here is no big deal as a mom with my child alone i did not enjoy the fact the hotel has weekly/monthly rates meaning people live there full time it was shady looking at night and the hallways had loud disorderly people roaming at night the doors were wide open all night long you didnt need a card to access the hotel and when we got back to the hotel for the night the card had not worked so i had to go get it reactivated which meant we had to walk with our arms full to the lobby which wasnt in the building we were staying in and the carpet smelled funky

They really go all out on theming, wolf statues and comforters, skeletons riding a bike and fishing in the pool, etc. Makes it unique.

1-10. The only reason it’s 1 because I can’t do 0. It was pretty much 4 walls, a ceiling, a locked door and a bed. There is NO way all of these reviews are real! Beyond that, all of there photos posted must be really old or specific rooms that they take pictures of; there was no hot water, the toilet was broken, a inch gap under the door, fine laying of dust, dirt, and hair around the whole room, and the carpet made our socks black, the tub was so stained and the toilet seat was only attached by 1 screw on top. The sheets were stained with what looked like blood. As advertised as a no smoke room, but we were punched in the face with the smell of smoke as soon as we walked in, smelling worse then the hallway. The front desk receptionist could not care less and rolled her eyes at us. We stayed 1 night when we had the hotel for 2 nights because we had no other option, and had to get a different hotel for another night. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

No frills, but also not clean

We just needed a place to take a shower and lay our heads for the night. The reviews led me to believe this was an affordable, no frills, but clean option. I agree with the no frills - to the point that there was only a sheet and thin blanket, no coverlet on the beds, no towels in the room, no soap, no toilet paper, and no trash can. 😔 We were able to get towels and toilet paper from the gentleman at the front desk who was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I cannot agree with the cleanliness - there were a multitude of marks on the walls and box springs, stains on the mattress and box springs, and remnants of dust and hair behind the bathroom door and in all the corners. It was cheap, but I still don’t think we got what we paid for. The door also left me a little concerned for security. I would not have stayed here without my husband. I don’t think we will try this place again.

You get what you pay for

The king bedroom was pretty good to stay and sleep. The only problem was, there's no electric outlet in the bathroom or by the night stand.
The double bed room needs a little cleaning and the room had a smell in the air. There's no garbage can in the room, so we just use groceries bag. The bathroom had no toliet tissue holder. The bed was hard. My cots probably more comfortable than the double bed.

The beds felt like we were sleeping on box springs not mattresses. The air conditioner looked as if it had been punched out but still worked. The door only locked with the handle lock. The dead bolt was broken and the extra lock was also broken. Slept with a chair against the door as a warning if someone started to open the door. Room 247 needs some work.

Overall the hotel was ok. I was nervous since I was traveling by myself. The towels were stained, which didn’t give a good impression. The sheets were clean and actually smelled and felt good. The bed looked very old and well worn but it wasn’t too bad. I actually slept well and it was pretty quiet even though there was a lot of people walking around when I got there. I would possibly consider staying there again.

Great hotel close to cedar point! Love the tiki huts and pool,staff is wonderful! They’ve renovated most of the rooms. A lot of the rooms have roku TVs which is great so we can watch Tubi tv. Friendly, helpful staff. Can't beat the price! Kids loved the pool and the fact that it was open a little later than most 🙂 Yummy donuts and breakfast so close was also a plus. Had a great stay! I walked in and the front desk lady immediately started to talk about how a bunch of crack heads pay for rooms there..? Very scary and weird. She would complain that people would come to the office with complaints that she was inconvenienced by.
When we booked a room. We were under the impression that we would be getting the “suite”. We didn’t. The room we got was gross. The bed was sunk in, the walls were dirty, our feet were black just from walking on the floors. The rooms had poor lighting and a hardly working Tv with terrible WiFi…and the bathroom had a small shower head that didn’t even fit me! (I’m 5’3!). everything was in disrepair and gross/stained.
Staying in the room was scary. The pool always had men sitting around it just staring at you when you walked around, and even during the night. It made me worry about break ins because the door was only locked by a key card fob and a chain link! And the key card failed multiple times!
Beware if you’re a traveling female with children !

Dirtest, Nastiest, Trashiest.

This was awful absolutely awful. I walked to the room not even inside the room and the first thing I noticed was the terrible smoking smell coming from the ac unit. Smelt like someone took a dump in the unit itself. Walked in and found kids sheets. Torn, frayed, stained, and everything in between. I thought it couldn’t be worse just an uncomfortable sleep. There was mold remover sitting on the table. Singular table with nothing on it but mold remover. That did it for me. Looked around and found trash, wrappers, and dirt all over the floor. Didn’t take my shoes off was very very concerned about my health if I slept there. Mind you this is all within 10 minutes. I checked in at 11:45 I have the time stamp on my phone of when I pulled in, I went to the front desk to ask for a refund. The guy told me I had 30 minutes to make any changes. I was then told that I missed the 30 minute mark when I tried to get my refund. I wasn’t in the room for more than 20 minutes and went straight to the front desk. If you have the option of sleeping outside in your car or sleeping here, choose the car.

I gave this property all the benefit in the world. And I do believe with some housekeeping changes it would really be quite nice. Unfortunately, when we arrived our non smoking room smelled quite a bit like weed/smoke. The bathroom needed more attention or attention at all, I had to clean the toilet seat because I could clearly see that something was on it. The bathroom door had stuff on it that I just completely avoided but a good wipe down would have fixed all of that. The comforters were stained and had burn holes. No signs of bugs or anything like that so that was reassuring.

I want to start off by saying, i got what I paid for!!!! 1 night/2 rooms was $162. The lady at the desk was beyond kind and so helpful with anything we needed! As we drove to the side building to go to the back entrance, we were met with a lady sitting in a chair her nightgown (it was 6pm) showing us her under carriage (lady flaps per say). Kids loved her uniqueness they said! (Teens) Upon checking the 1st room, it had a horrible stench. Could not pin point it but it gave me a horrible headache. Beds looked clean and things seemed to check out ok. Went to other room where by the eye, everything seemed decent. We settled everyone into the rooms. My husband then decided to remove his flip flops and proceeded to walk around in said room. His feet kind of stuck to the carpet as it had someehat of a gritty texture. In the 2.2 seconds he had his flops off, his feet were darker then the night to come. Flip flop went back on!
I had taken a call and went to my vehicle. Thats when want to be bruno mars decided he wanted to seranade his young lady friend to classic \"just the way you are\". Not a bad tune i must say but he had to have a karaoke machine in his car cause it was pretty loud! Pool was ok. Except we kept finding pieces of wig hair floating around. Beds were comfortable and showers were on point!
Needless to say, close your eyes while driving in, where shoes around & to bed, bring air freshener and if your feeling lonely gead out to the parking lot for a concert!

How this hotel has any positive ratings is beyond me. This was the most run down, dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. For starters, after our arrival on the first night and getting settled in, I noticed bed bugs (multiple) crawling on the walls by the headboard. It was past 11:30pm and we were exhausted so I asked for a different room after taking the night manager up to the room personally to show him the bed bugs. He was apologetic but only places in a room two doors down on the same side which didn't give me much comfort. I didn't find any bed bugs in this room but didn't sleep well the next two nights because of the fact that they existed just two doors down. The two rooms that we personally were in were so run down. The last time this place was renovated was easily in the '80s and probably not properly cleaned in years. I can't stress enough how dirty/run down this whole place is. Also, room wasn't as promised, no wolf theme. All the furniture was very old, a small TV with no remote, cable junction box hanging out of the wall. The windows look like they've never been cleaned. They all had some type of weird hazy film that put a damper on any type of view. The staff members I did run into mopping the hallway or picking up trash were no one I would remotely leave my children near, and that's not an exaggeration. Unfortunately there's not enough room left to right how bad this place was. Do not stay here no matter how cheap it's being offered, it's not worth it.

If you’re just looking for a no frills, just a place to sleep motel. This low cost inn will be fine. Staff is very friendly. I didn’t ask for anything but I have no doubt I would have received great service. Mattress needs to be updated and I would have liked a coffee maker. Although I didn’t use the pool it looked very clean and well maintained.

check in at counter was good but when we went to room checked sheets found hair on sheets and some kind of bugs on bed. we immediately went to front desk informed them this was unacceptable, and we would find somewhere else to stay. They said expedia would refund the cost to card used.

WiFi was horrible, room needs updated and cleaned better. If we had the extra money we would have stayed some where else. Got our room changed from smoking to non smoking and it still smelled like cigarettes smoke. I’m pretty sure they lied about changing that.

Eco friendliness… had to think how to best answer such vague terminology, as there is no obvious eco friendly commonality such as advertised recycling at the property. I would advocate for the fact it is older property, yet it is maintained and offers truly affordable rates, favorably, over the option of tearing it down and charging unnecessary higher rates for “new” or “improved.” Thankful for the affordable offerings.

It's a cute place and served our needs. The door was loose and difficult to open. Sheets were very wrinkled and mattress cover was stained or dirty. We were happy to have the fridge/freezer and microwave. Pool was lovely.

Great stay for the price you pay. The pool and rooms were clean. They gave us plenty of clean towels when asked. We had a problem with our TV box, they came to fix it immediately!!! Mini fridge worked, AC kept the room cool. Not many extras in your room but you had everything you would need. Thanks for having us!! We will be back ❤️
