Rooms are extremely dated. Bathroom is questionable. Black thing on tub - looks like maid didn’t do good job in scrubbing tub. Toilet not working well - you gotta hold down the knob until it is fully flushed. Caulking all in terrible condition. Bathroom sink faucet does not stop dripping.
Carpeting very old. Seems every room have security barrier between the door and the frame as if to prevent people from carding between the gap. Security seems to be adequate as they have lot of security cameras all round and I have seen staff monitoring the security monitors.
Decent room for price. When checking in - if you don’t like room ask for different room.

First and foremost, the rooms were clean and comfortable. We stayed a week here, and the cleaning staff were amazing! I can't say enough good things about the cleaning staff!
That being said, the staff at the front desk and the staff at the breakfast were anything but pleasant. They were pretty rude. The staff at the front desk were okay, but the staff at the breakfast were downright rude. They almost ruined our stay at this hotel. Thankfully, they were only a small, albeit daily, part of our stay.
Again, the rooms were clean, neat and each of the 2 times we requested our room be cleaned and beds made, it was done amazingly well! Thank you cleaning staff! 😄
Oh yeah, one more thing, there is a bus stop very close that will take you to downtown Manhattan. Very convenient. See attached photo for its location.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband, Ashish, during our New Year trip to New York, and unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing.
The overall service was not up to the mark. The staff, especially during breakfast hours, appeared very rude and constantly in a hurry, which made guests feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed. There was no warmth or basic hospitality, which was particularly disappointing during a festive time like New Year. The breakfast timing was from 7–10 am, but the experience felt extremely rushed. On our last day, when we arrived at 9:45 am due to packing, a staff member harshly asked us to put the milk jar back into the fridge, which was quite unsettling.
There was no complimentary water provided in the room; we had to go to the reception each time to get water. The toiletries provided were also of very poor quality. The ambience of the hotel lacked cleanliness, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, only one elevator was functional throughout our stay, leading to long waiting times.
Given the brand name, we expected much better service and professionalism. Sadly, this stay did not meet our expectations at all.
The only positive aspect was the cost—approximately 800 CAD for 4 nights. However, considering the hotel is far from the city, it wasn’t a great deal. Staff was fine. The room needs updating. Bathroom door didn't lock. Only one of two elevators work. The most concerning thing was the sausage and potatoes at breakfast were stone cold. Out of the refrigerator cold, left to warm up on the Sterno- not safe food handling at all.

Here's the bad and the ugly:The room was very run down and was more like a highway by the hour motel. There was so much dust behind the nightstand which we saw while trying to plug in our charger. The mattresses were sooo bad, old school metal springs and I felt every single one of them. There was some liquid stains running down the walls. Bathtub was so worn that we thought it was dirty at first. The breakfast was an easy pass, grabbed an apple and kept it moving. Now Here's the good: location, sheets were clean, check in, very nice guy, check out..ok guy but not a sparkling personality. Would I return..no. it just wasn't clean enough for me but after driving for 15 hrs all I wanted to do was sleep.

However, I must point out a few minor details that if they were to be addressed, it would change my stars to 5s. I will say that none of these details would prevent me from future bookings.
1. The bed linens had moist spots. I found housekeeping in the lobby and they quickly corrected the problem.
2. The bathroom sink didnt fully turn off, so I had to close the door to avoid hearing the slow stream all night. My stay was only 1 night so it wasnt a deal breaker.
3. The drapes were torn/worn out.
Like I said, it was not a bad stay; small details just need to be fixed.

I paid for adjoining rooms, each room had 2 queen size beds. Unfortunately the doors between the rooms were padlocked and I had no way of checking on my teenage granddaughters unless I left my room to go into their room. I called and asked the front desk staff if he had a key for the padlocks. He stated that \"something\" happened at the hotel so they no longer offer adjoining room services. They should remove that option from their website.
