Beautiful and comfortable stay!

It was very comfy staying at Aparthotel Saint-Denis Pleyel. Room is equipped with all the necessary equipments. It was very clean, quiet and comfortable stay. Metro line 14 is vey close to the hotel. Friendly hotel staff. I recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks comfort.

The room was well-equipped with all the basic kitchen appliances, making it convenient for a comfortable stay. The washroom was clean and well-maintained. The location is decent, though it takes around 30 minutes by train to reach the city centre. Overall, a good option for a short stay.

We had to move 1 of the rooms because of the smell. Both rooms were down market and dirty. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridors as well. Sound proofing was poor so we were kept awake by shouting and arguments in other rooms.

Parking was supposed to be an option but when we arrived they told us it had to be booked at least 15 days in advance. So we had to leave the car on a dodgy street round the corner. The next morning a different receptionist told us they'd got spaces in their car park so we could have used it.

We had booked for 2 nights but couldn't face the 2nd as it just didn't feel safe or clean. So we checked out and travelled home early.

Only positive were the 2 receptionist we dealt with, who were polite and as helpful as they could be.

Stayed at Adagio for our first time in Paris for a total of 8 nights . Room was clean, bathroom was clean, and staff were friendly. Pricing was great considering the location of the hotel . The train station was right around the corner and getting around was extremely easy . Overall, excellent hotel ! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a great place to stay at an affordable price.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was big and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood doesn't offer much; the closest grocery store is a fifteen minute walk--and not a noticeably pleasant walk either. The Metro is four minutes away; bus to the RER is also four minutes away, so getting to the airport is fairly simple.

The hotel is at a great rate and great location in 20 mins from \"door to door\" to Elysees or Louvre. The suite has a full-equipped kitchen and a small private \"supermarket\" by a subway. A quiet location and the staff is super-nice. The best option to stay in Paris so I was spending my $$ on the museums and restaurants, not on the hotels! :)

It's a basic hotel. No frills. The room wasn't spotless or up to date. But the bed was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had everything we needed for 1 night before our flight home the next day.
We took a cab to and from CDG airport, it was about 40-50 euros each way. For the cheaper cost of the room, plus the cab fare, I might as well have gotten a room closer to the airport for the same total cost.

There was no free amenities on top of that you have to pay for pretty much everything, additional towels, their wall sockets is unlike American so you have to put a deposit on a jack which only worked for my cellphone and not my laptop. The staff spoke very little English, you had to pay for breakfast, one snack machine, all of tge channels were in French only. They provide you with a coffee pot but no coffee packets. Has to be the worst of any city ive ever been to. I thought Toronto was bad. Toronto was top notch compared to this.

It was a good experience. Staff was really friendly and even offered us free coffee while waiting for our room. They allowed us to do an early check in (2 hrs early). The room was clean though the bathroom felt a little cramped. Good location with nearby train station, supermarket and restaurants. Vicinity is clean and safe.

The staff is very disorganised. We went in a big group of 16 people and we booked 6 rooms. First day when we went to the hotel they give five rooms which was used the bed was used floor was unclean bathroom was unclean. When we told them then they changed the room. We booked two rooms with 3 single beds but they gave one double and a sofa bed. It was very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel was disappointing. The photos provided on the website are deceiving, as the room wasn't in a good shape at all. No fan or air conditioning provided. Also you have to park on the street. The only positive thing about this hotel was that it's very close to the subway station and if you like to cook, they have a cooking range and utensils.

Perfect for exploring Paris

The Aparthotel exceeded our expectations, as sometimes you believe all that you read on other reviews! It couldn't have been more perfect. Ample space in the room, a good double bed (the most comfortable one my wife has ever had with her bad back - and we normally go four star) and a good double sofa bed too - exactly as shown on the web site. Kitchen very well supplied, with plenty of pots and pans etc. Two hobs, a fridge and a microwave. The bathroom is perfect for any person's needs and the heated towel rail really helps as there is no free cleaning service for between 4 and 7 day stays. This is no problem at all and the towels dry in no time.
The wifi works well and gave no problems. We were impressed with the friendliness and efficiency of the reception staff, all spoke good English and so there are no problems in that area. They are very happy to call taxis and help out in any way they can.
As for the location - you can't call it scenic in any way but it is very close (3 minutes at a brisk walk) to the underground station Carrefour Pleyel, which is on the number 13 metro line and just 10-15 minutes ride to the centre of Paris. There is a food shop just by the station too. So, if you're looking for a good base at a cheaper price than central Paris then this aparthotel really is an excellent option

Much to my surprise, the hotel has no air conditioning which was not mentioned anywhere on their site. The staff got me a fan which helped but it was hot for 3 of the days I was there. Hardly any water pressure in the shower. The rooms only get cleaned once a week. The last night of my stay, all the lights and fuses in my room blew. They put me into another room which had twin beds and water pressure in the shower. The staff were nice and helpful.

Breakfast can be bought for 8euros but it's bread, butter, jam, and either soft or hard boiled eggs. Drinks are from a machine.

Overall it was a good hotel, is nice and modern.
Although it was a non smoking room, there had a smoky smell that we couldn't get rid of.
All the rest was very comfortable.

We were attending a match at Stade de France so chose a hotel within walking distance. The room was clean and relatively comfortable. The staff were friendly and the room was reasonably priced. It was very close to Carrefour Pleyel stop, so was easy to get into Paris on the Metro. No frills or luxuries but a nice stay.

Very bad experience. After booking the hotel since June 2015, we got to the hotel and we were told that we had no booking even though we had the printout for our reservation.. It really took some time before they gave us our key. Then my colleague had to spend an extra day and she paid 2 days before departure. On the day before her departure, she was told she had not paid even though she brought her receipt they said they could not locate the payment in their system. It took another 20 minutes before they could locate the payment.. Their management system is really poor.

Great place to stay!

We were very happy with this hotel. The rates were reasonable and it was exactly as advertised. We had a studio room that included at refrigerator, two burners, sink, and microwave. Even the dishes and dish towels were included. The room was clean and well stocked. If we needed anything the hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel is only a block from a metro stop so travel was very easy. Line 13 connects to most of the lines going to the major attractions. Usually we just had to make one transfer. Right across from the metro stop was a bakery, small grocery store, and fruit stand. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but stopped by the bakery. Since our return flight was early we needed to go to the airport by taxi at 4:30. The hotel made the arrangements for us and we were picked up on time. If we ever go back to Paris we would be happy to stay here again.

Far, not!!!!

The stay at the hotel was very good. We were bit skeptical before but to our surprise the hotel/room fulfilled all the needs. Staff was friendly and helping. The room is very spacious and newly renovated. The kitchen had clean and new utensils for the use. The hotel had very good internet even on the 8th floor.The Metro line is just 3 min walk and takes you to city in 15 min.
Overall very happy with our stay.

First apartment was horrible!

The first apartment I was pit in was horrible. Not only dirty but with the worst smell of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff changed me me rooms next day and that apartment was better. Hint of the same smell the other suffered from but bearable. Cleaning standards low and carpets in bad state. No wifi in rooms - paid or complimentary (it's 2014!). Cheap for Paris and reasonable connections on the RER but I won't be staying there again.

First room was horrendous

I was first put in apartment 101. It was horrendous. I've never had a hotel room smell so bad. It was unbearable. If I spoke French I would have checked out and into another hotel in the middle of the night when the smell had woken me & made me feel ill. I think think this is partly to blame on the total lack of fresh air in the room. It has windows but as it is courtyard level you can't leave them open. The carpet was also disgusting and heavily stained which no doubt adds to the smell. Was as changed rooms next day and it was ok. At least I could say I got what I paid for with that relatively cheap room for Paris. Neighbourhood is average at best but close to the rer and you can be in Paris in about 20 minutes. Wifi only in the lobby which is annoying. I'd never book it again. There has to be better optionseven in that price range.

Standard room with bathroom and kitchenette suitable for overnight stay. The hotel is very close to the Carrefour Pleyel station and only a short walk to the Stade de France, so it was perfect for the concert we'd booked. it's in a residential area so I suggest eating in Paris first. It's also only approx. 30 minutes on the Metro (M13) from Paris centre or Gare du Nord with one or two changes.

No frills, great price!

Stayed at the hotel for a weekend as my friend and I had travelled to Paris for the Beyoncé and Jay-Z concert which was in the Stade de France. The hotel was handy for the metro to the stadium etc and the price was great. On checking in we were asked if we were there for the concert and when we said yes we were given maps showing the different ways of getting to the stadium from the hotel which was great.

The rooms are fine, nothing special but were exactly what we needed for all the time we spent in them. They have a fridge/freezer and hobs as well as a tv.

The only ways I think this hotel could be improved would be by offering free wifi in the rooms rather than just the lobby, and also we kept getting a damp patch outside our bathroom door, which I'm assuming was caused by the shower as the bathroom was tiny.

I would go back to this hotel if I was going to another event at the Stade de France as it is so handy to get the metro (1 stop away), the staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were kept clean and the price was great.

Standard hotel, reasonable price

This is a standard hotel, don't expect too much, easy access to the metro, well connected to Paris. Local area has a few shops, takeaways, local bars etc. The hotel advertises free street parking - this is no longer true, since Oct 2013 parking meters were put on the street outside - parking is charged Mon - Fri daytime, at 7 euros per day - free overnight and at weekends. Room is ok, nothing special - I wouldn't believe they could ever charge the original price though, apparently we had a great special offer (was £520, now £140) - I would suggest £140 is the normal price. Clean, Tidy, good base for exploring Paris.

If you need it you need to get to foyer. Which makes it a bit hard caonsidering that i was on the seventh floor and the time difference made me to go there during the late nigh.

Dangerous Location

Overall the quality of the hotel was good and acceptable for what you pay for. However, the one thing that will put me off from booking this hotel is the location. Returning back to the hotel late (9-10pm) wasn’t a very pleasant experience. We were later told by police that this area of Paris is very dangerous and many criminals stay in this area. This made us very uneasy and we will definitely not be retuning to this area of Paris.

Hotel was basic. Studio room had a kitchenette but small bathroom. Neighbourhood a little dodgy. Certain of some drug dealing by the metro but they are harmless and leave you alone. Very close proximity to metro station, stade de france and the peripherique to drive out of the city quickly. Street parking outside is free so don't bother paying in the hotel. I was concerned about this place not located in paris-it is in st denis, but metro is only about one minute walk and champ elysse station is only few stops away. i stayed here for nine days and never had problem enjoying paris. Even at night i felt safe walking from metro to hotel. There were many staffs at the reception desk for 24/7 and everyone was super kind. our room was good size for me and my mother and small kitchen had everything we needed and was in a very good condition. this place was overall super clean -even my mother said this place is very neat and well maintained- and i am glad that i stayed here.

We stayed for three nights and got what we expected. Simple, clean, rooms with kitchenette, all well cleaned each day during the stay. Very good value. I saw comments about a \"dangerous neighbourhood\" and while it is not the smartest area, it's OK. Like many a major city suburb, there is a cross-section of people. Meanwhile, very minor gripes: no kettle, just a filter coffee machine. Also the hotel and this booking site need to get the car park rate information clarified; while still worth the money for secure parking, the charge was 50% higher per day than advertised (and had been so since January according to staff) and no discount for multiple days, also as advised on the booking page.

Avoid - Unsafe Location

We felt unsafe at this hotel. When we arrived, someone in the lobby was pleading with the hotel desk clerk to request that the hotel let its occupants know that the surrounding area is unsafe. The person who was pleading said someone in their group was attacked or mugged that day in the surrounding area. This was unnerving to us. Irrespective, we jaunted out to find dinner in the surrounding neighborhood. We immediately felt very unsafe in the neighborhood. We felt like easy targets that could be mugged or robbed at any moment. There were many unsavory looking people just hanging out in the area. The hotel breakfast sucked. There were no pastries left, no eggs or warm food; just stale bread and jam. Two from our group arrived at 9:59 AM for breakfast and were told very rudely by a hotel staffperson that breakfast was finished and they could have no food. When the two tried to sit at our table just to be with us (not eat food) the hotel staffperson physically got in front of them as if trying to intimidate them physically. Needless to say, we checked out of this hotel immediately and willingly forfeited the remaining prepaid nights. The charge for the two who were denied breakfast was on our bill at checkout. Our rooms were supposed to be non-smoking; one of them smelled okay, but the other reeked horribly of cigarettes. The bathrooms were the smallest I've seen.

The hotel was a good value for money. We stayed in 1 bed-room apartment. while the rooms were small but sufficient for our family with 2 kids. The reception desk was always manned by helpful English-speaking people. They also allowed early check-in, which was so nice of them. The metro station was just 5-min walk away, which means you are not too far from Paris city centre.

Nice stay for budget travellers

I have stayed in this hotel from 1st to 3rd of march. It was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed the hospitality. I have booked an apartment for 4 adults. The room was clean and in good condition. They have provided : attach bathroom , sink , microwave , refrigerator, tv, room heater , cooking utensils , dinning table and almirah, electric oven.

You will get almost everything you required in an apartment. The rooms were in good condition, and bed was comfortable enough. They have cleaned the room on a daily basis. And have provided extra towels and blankets for us.

People in reception were helpful enough. When we came to know the checkin time was from 3:00 pm they have helped us to keep our luggages in the locker room and was kind enough to provide us the staff wash rooms to use. Even the day we had to checkout, we have kept our luggages in their locker room after checkout. We went for a whole day city trip and came back at night to collect the bag.

The hotel is on a 100 meter walk from the Saint Denis Pleyel metro station. But the only disadvantage I felt was there was no good restaurent or shop nearby. Though there was a nice pizza shop and one stationary shop. And the area is not so nice during late night. Though we never felt any threats but still did not like the atmosphere at late night.

Other than that everything else was fine. And will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

All you need at a very cheap price.

This place is perfect for a cheap stay in Paris. Self contained apartment, with comfortable bed and shower, plenty of room, microwave, fridge, stove, pots and pans and cups and plates. Everything you need. We stayed for 5 nights and it was great to be able to cook vegetables after 5 months of travelling! For laundry - come out of the hotel and go left, then turn left at the next street. 100 metres down on the left is a self service laundry. (4 euro per wash). Parking - double park in the service lane outside the hotel, run in and grab a remote key from reception. Then take the next right turn, and its a small orange Adagio sign about 50 metres down on the right hand side. Push the remote button and park underground (10 euro per day - very cheap compared to others). Subway - another 50 metres up the road from the parking garage on the same side (stop is called Carrefour Pleyel.) It takes about 10 minutes and around 10 stops to get into the middle of Paris. Supermarket - the only one we could find was 2 stops earlier on the metro - at Garabaldi. (that's 2 stops closer to Paris centre) Its just around the corner when you exit the Garabaldi subway stop - called Monoprix. Reception Staff - very helpful, most spoke some English. Down side to the hotel is that they don't service your room - you have to pay extra for that. But there is a spot at the bottom of the lift to empty your own rubbish, and you can swap your towels with the cleaner whenever you want for free.

The hotel is a little bit far away from Paris center(zone 2), but it's close to metro(5 mins walk) and RER station(20 mins walk). And there are a few mini market nearby for you to buy food and cook in hotel. Yet, the down side is, there are no daily room cleaning service if you are staying for 4-7 days...you need to pay extra for it. Also there is no wifi, and can only connect to internet with cable to your notebook, which is quite inconvenient...

Close to Metro station, practical kitchenette

I stayed at the hotel with my daughter and my cousin. Overall, we had enough space. There is no much to do or see in the neighbourhood and therefore the hotel was only convenient as a sleeping place. And that was okay for us. With kitchen facilities and fair prices makes the hotel attractive especially on economy budget. Friendly receptionist :)
I was not happy with cleanliness and maintenance of the bathroom and the floor carpet.

Very nice hotel

Hotel is very clean, rooms are very big and confortable. The kitchinette is very useful , it has a fridge and a microwave, so you can buy food for breakfast/dinner, to spare money , instead of eating (mostly) bad and expensive food in the touristic area. It is very close to metro station, very convenient to visit Paris. Much better than an expensive hotels in the centre of Paris, many of them old and with very small rooms.

Great value in an expensive city

We needed parking and wanted to be on the Metro into Paris and this hotel ticked both boxes perfectly. Parking was very safe, underground and only E9 per day and the Metro was just around the corner, a 2 minute walk and then a 10 minute ride to anywhere in Paris. The room was fine, the staff were all very good, especially the gentleman that checked us in very late, he was terrific. The breakfast is also great value here.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, affordable, mostly quiet, and sufficiently convenient for someone staying for a week in Paris on a tight budget. Having the kitchenette was invaluable for saving a little on meals. Although outside the périphérique, the metro and the buses made it convenient for getting to the center of Paris. However, it would have been more difficult to access on foot. Fortunately, that was not a huge inconvenience for me.

Good value for the money!

I, my wife and 3 kids (round 30) visited Paris in 5 days to celebrate my 60 anniversary as a human being. We had 3 apartments. Strange thing that the solo kid got the biggest room with terrass and we, the older ones got the smallest without! The rooms where very spacious comparing to other european capital cities. We didn´t use the coocking equipment but the fridge.When we came we had 1 bathing towel per room. Got more when asked (with a smile). The receptionists where very helpful and nice. 3 min to the Metro and 15 to Invalides. In the area where several restaurants but mostly asians. TIP! Take the Metro to Porte St-Ouen (3 stations) and You have lots of good French restaurants in Monmartre. The area St Denis wasn´t very cosy. But if You want to save a lo of money to spend in Paris, You will get good comfort and \"much bang for the bucks\"! I will surely get back!

convenient and economic

Exactly what I hoped for the price paid. The rooms, while not luxurious, are confortable, the hotel quiet, and there's a metro stop a few hundred meters away from the hotel, so getting to the center is just a matter of 20 minutes. Perfect place if you're budget-conscious and don't plan to spend that much time in the hotel anyway.

Just what you want for cheap and comfortable stay next to the center of Paris. Just 15 mins from Champs Elysee. If you want room service to clean your room you have to book it for more than a week. (drawback for sure).
All in all it's a clear 3.

one of the receptionists told us that we should learn french after all we were in \"a french country\"...the worst was the tone of his voice though. we were there as tourists and i have never heard that we need the learn the visited country's language before visiting. the hotel was really nice, reasonable prices, clean and even though it was far from central paris it is served with a good metro line (line 13)

Ecconomical and efficient

This a decent option if you are on a tight budget. The location is a little out of the city with not many restaurant options, but is very close to the subway a frequent and reliable subway line. The room was pleasant enough and the kitchenette was a nice bonus. Some of the staff were pleasant and helpful. The internet signal was too weak to use in our room but could be used in the breakfast area.

Overall it was a great hotel. One thing to keep in mind is although it says it is four miles from the center of the city it takes about 45 minutes to make it there since the metro requires 2 switchovers before making it to your final destination.

Nice, clean place out of the city

This hotel was very nice, modern, and clean. The bathroom was a bit small, but that's not a huge problem. The kitchen was clean and the bed was really comfortable. It is about a 40 minute Metro ride from the city center, but it's close to the Metro stop and easy to find. The staff was friendly. Overall a good experience!

Great place for the money

The hotel is very clean and quiet. The staff is friendly, and the breakfast is great for the price you pay. The neighborhood is not so nice, but it was fine with me since my trip to Saint Denis didn't have touristic purposes....and I presume you can reach nice places in Paris very easily. The train station is in fact very close. If you need a taxi, and you don't want to call it by yourself, just make sure that the reception asks for one that is of the right size, based on the number of people to transport. I didn't specify anything, and the nice guy at the reception called a big van, even though I was alone: the result was that I paid 55 euros to go to Charles de Gaulle airport, vs 20-40 I was told.

Very convenient if you want to go to Disney as well as Paris

The metro is less than five minutes walk and one can reach Eifel tower within 20min. Highway is also very close and it takes around 30min drive to Disney. The hotel rooms are kept very well. The kitchen could be improved with a better exhaust and a small fan could help you in summer. The staff was very supportive when needed with occassional delay in answering the call. No Gym but there could be something nearby who are very diciplined to to visit one. Price is reasonable for the facilities provided.

We booked this hotel as we were going to see Depeche Mode at the Stade de France. the location for this was brilliant. its a 2 min walk to the metro and the trip into paris is very quick and easy. the hotel was very clean, the bed was comfortable, en suite clean and there was even a flat screen tv which we hadnt expected. Staff are very friendly and very helpful. There isnt much to do around the hotel but as I said the metro is 2 mins away. Very good value for money, room even had a little kitchen area which was fully equiped to prepare a meal if you want to.

it's a good place to stay at if you are seeking it only for a night sleep

the Room was very clean and the internet service was for free , it's close to carefoure pleyel metro station , stuff are freindly trying to help with anything althought some of them doesn't know how to speak english enough , but still as an over all they are very friendly , the only bad thing is that to use the metro from the airport to reach the hotel you have to take a loong way as u need two connections from the centre , rather than that on ur way back you can ask for a taxi to the Nearest RER Station in the stadium and it would be for 20 Euro's maximum , the room supplies whr all there and every thing was clean i'd recommend it for ppl going for a clean place to sleep at at night
