Had to turn the water off while showering because it wouldn’t drain and would overflow the pan. Hotel appeared to be under renovations? Outlets didn’t work in the room. Staff tried to be helpful, but I got the feeling management was just trying to do cheap repairs and nothing really worked. Housekeeping was sub par. People serving breakfast were kind.

Expectations were low given the price point. The main areas were well maintained but the rooms were musty and there were no power outlets available to plug in anywhere near the bed. There were overseas outlets and the front desk didn't have any adapters or other solutions. The wi-fi wasn't working for most of our stay and the breakfast wasn't great. It could have been better.

Overall got the job done for a shirt vacation. Room, bed, and property were clean but very outdated. Remodeling was happening, there was a water issue that caused water to be turned off for an extended period of time 2 days, but the front desk kept everyone updated. Breakfast was basic, but still good. STAFF WAS EXCEPTIONAL, VERY POLITE AND GREETED EVERYONE

The bathroom was very dirty with a lot of human waist on the back of the toilet. There was pet hair all over the floor and my wife and daughter sneezed the entire time we were in the room. The mattress on the pullout couch was the worst one I have ever seen. It was just all metal spring. That was all you could feel. The breakfast was underwhelming with a lot of of the food overcooked. I did like the tile floor in the guest room. It was much nicer than the carpet. They are doing a lot of remodeling at this hotel so hopefully in the future, it will be better. We stayed for two nights. When I complained to the desk about the condition of the room and the condition of the mattress, they did a little bit better cleaning for our second night and they swapped out the mattress. It still was not good, but it was better. The location to Busch Gardens is its biggest selling point. It’s about a mile and a half to the entrance of Busch Gardens, and less than that to Water Country USA.

My booking was for two nights, but we only stayed one night due to the hotel’s poor conditions. The room was dirty, and the mattress sheet had what appeared to be blood or wine stains.We requested the front desk to change the sheets.

The floor was very noisy, with a group of students staying on the same floor who were screaming and slamming doors until mid night. The hotel staff was not helpful, and communication was difficult as housekeeping staff did not speak English.

Although we paid for two nights, we had to leave the next day due to these issues.

It was not a nice stay. Hallways did not smell good or clean. Bathroom was extremely small. Ran down place. Not like the pictures. The breakfast was not good has gnats around food. There is a $50 deposit charge when stay on arrival.

The room was clean and nice, but the common areas were dirty, with the floors, needing a good vacuum. I was surprised to find that breakfast is really only cereal and bagels. There was no hot meal offered, although that was my understanding . This property needs a good refurbishing at least in the common areas but the staff is helpful.

Dirty yellow stain on bed sheet and dirty wrinkled up black underwear found in the end of the bed, bed was made up over them. This indicates sheets were unwashed. Front desk worker was very helpful and switched us to another room across the hall. He was very nice. No refund offered.

The breakfast was outstanding. I’ll give them that customer service hit a miss I think people don’t understand a power of facial expressions. There was no microwave in a room so I had to keep going downstairs to use it and that microwave is so tiny and irritable to use. It was actually making me angry plus the fact that there was no napkins or rags around to help clean up the mess I had to use one of my shirts to clean which I wound up throwing out. The rooms are absolutely disgusting if you look behind a TV or behind a bed and then some visible areas it’s just gross. The carpets are disgusting. They can do a lot better had I not booked in advance I probably would’ve left the first day but I was there for a week unfortunately The bathrooms are tiny and extremely uncomfortable for a big guy like myself. I’m 6 to 260 pounds and I felt like every time I sat on the toilet it was gonna break the showers are awesome. I enjoyed that but overall I wouldn’t stay here again. I’d rather pay extra.

The hotel in general is very outdated. All the finishes were very old. Lobby area was very cold due to leaky doors. The room was in fair condition. Nothing fancy. Bathroom was very small. Toilets flushed slow and had several clogs. No storage in shower for any places to store soap or shampoo. Breakfast was ok. It had hot and cold food but it was exactly the same food every single day. On the flip side, the price was cheap but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Hotel was empty when we showed up at 2:30 not one car in the parking lot, they would not allow us to check in until 3:00. Curtains in the room were severely stained, areas of the room were also very dirty. They tried to updated the hotel but they just threw paint over really old and falling apart walls. The king sized bed didn’t have any king sized pillows on the bed. ( personal pet peeve of mine)

The room was clean, the staff was welcoming. The TV channel options were very limited (6) unless you choose to mirror your phone/laptop. Pillows were not that great, bulky and quite dense.
It was fine for what we needed for a place to sleep after a day at a theme park.

My husband and I stayed for a two night stay. For two nights, the housekeeping staff only left us two wash cloths, one bath towel and one hand towel. When we requested a second set of towels and washcloths for our second night, the night manager informed us that in order to get another set for the following morning, we would have to bring our dirty laundry to the front desk and retrieve clean towels and washcloths. This is not acceptable, when paying for a hotel room, you do expect expect enough clean towels and washcloths for your stay, rather it be two nights or four nights. We were told that this is a Wyndham Policy and Procedure and for that reason we will no longer book at a Wyndham Hotel, ever!!

Neutral: pet fees are per night, so I wouldn’t rate this hotel as super pet friendly.
Negatives: breakfast was lukewarm at best each morning. Our room lacked hot showers. Water wouldn’t get above warm and then only for a few minutes.

Undoubtedly it is safe, convenient, and quiet. It's in the woods, by itself, with no traffic to speak of. It is right off the interstate and perfectly located if you are going to Busch Gardens/Water Country USA.

But beyond that, it really isn't worth the money. It is in serious need of renovation. Only third tier motels still give out travel sample size bottles of conditioner and shampoo. And the shower stalls do not even have a shelf to put them on. Not to mention, there isn't anywhere to hang your towel except to thread it through the shower door handle. At some point they put in a new toilet, but they didn't even bother to take the sticker completely off of it. For what you pay, you would expect more. I'm not saying it should be top tier, but they should be doing a lot more than what they are.

The staff was nice, the breakfast was edible.

Do note that it is not walkable to anything. Anywhere you want to go, you are going to have to drive to get there. Fortunately, it's not that far out of the way.

Biggest complaint is out of the three rooms we had reserved for the night, none would thoroughly flush the toilet. It acted as if it was going to overflow. When I told the front desk, they acted surprised but then our friends who also had issues stated they overheard someone else complaining prior to my checkout… it looks like they are trying to spruce up the place with new paint in areas but overall our floor (8th) needs some real work.

Location cannot be beat. We stayed for a golf groups weekend and it was the perfect location, keeping several courses within a 15 minute drive.

Beds are excellent and the large rooms were perfect for 10-12 of us to gather for watching some football and hanging out after each round.

Some facility issues, but staff was helpful.

We had two rooms. One had a sink that wouldn’t drain well. The other had a busted phone with wires hanging out and a toilet that ran all night. Addressed the toilet with staff before we left in the morning and came back late that night to find the water turned off to the toilet. Front desk texted and said the tank was cracked and we needed to switch rooms. New room was just down the hall. It was fine, but also had a phone that didn’t work. It also didn’t have hangers or a hair dryer. Staff was helpful, which made the situation better.

Breakfast included large premade pancakes, rubbery scrambled eggs, sausage links, and hash browned potatoes for the hot food. Definitely appreciated the well-stocked eggs and sausage. There were also toasters with some bread options, but no gluten free area. There was also cereal, milk and yogurt. I wished they had fresh fruit.

The first room we received a key for did not have working lights and was missing the large mirror on the wall. The staff was nice enough to give us another room but the shower pipes were clogged causing the shower floor to fill with water.

The breakfast options were terrible. No fruit options or other bread or bagel options. Really disappointed.

Staff very friendly. (Max) Hotel has had updates. Neat hanging seats along hallways. Room was great. Clean and updated. Slightly small toilet area, but not an issue for us at all. Very nice heated mirror outside of shower/ toilet area. Beds comfy, quiet and convenient- movable small table, wardrobe with drawers. Breakfast was great. Hot eggs, sausage, home fries. Pancakes and other staples. Area was pleasant to eat in. It is an older property, some wear and tear in some spots, but 100% would stay again and it is a great value for the $$.

No Wyndham No More.

Room was OK except for the following: the toilet and toilet seat were not aligned hard to stay on it. Giant crack in the shower across several rows of tile. The lavatory sink appeared to be separating from the counter.. The digital alarm clock displayed a time in an alien language. The side exterior door to the hotel stayed open every time I saw it. Not much security there. Don’t plan on streaming anything on the TV even though it has that capability. And lastly, for some reason, they store a right hand, opening refrigerator in a left hand opening cabinet right at the foot of one of the beds. Not sure the thought process there it only gives you a couple feet of room to get in the fridge. Now the good, they had a very nice vanity mirror, which wasn’t actually in the bathroom, but it had the capability of heating itself which, if it were in the bathroom and steamy, it would clear itself up. That was a nice touch.

I don’t typically leave reviews but this property was incredibly overrated and overpriced. To start with the staff who checked us in was very unfriendly. The hallway leading to the room had a very bad odor. The shower leaked and toilet leaked and we alerted staff only be told that maintenance would come. They never came. The attempted upgrades were poorly done and the door was colored with what appeared to be a brown marker where it had been damaged, one could assume that it had been broken in to. This is not at all what was portrayed nor is it what one would expect from a Wyndham property.

I had an event at 4:00, check-in was supposed to be 3 and I was told it wouldn’t be available until 4:00. Then I had to use a credit card that I didn’t want to use because the attendant could t figure out how to operate the computer. Shower door wouldn’t close so water was all over the floor and I fell getting out of the shower! NEGATIVE stars on this visit!

Worst hotel we ever stayed at

The whole hotel had a very strong smell of weed and musty odor. The breakfast was unedtilable. Worst tasting food, the toilets in our room and father in law’s room didn’t work and had to call management up to fix them. They still didn’t work right. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room. On day 4 we had to find a different hotel cause this one was so horrible. Management was a joke.
