This is a very nice hotel I stayed there for the night and I was super satisfied with my stay the room was clean and comfortable and looks like they just upgraded everything the A/C worked wonderful there is a microwave and a big mini fridge in the room the shower was great got hot right away and pressure was good they had a nice big mirror in the bathroom with LED lights and they have upgraded outlets around the room and great lighting overall very satisfied staying here

Filthy room, stains on the wall, counter in bathroom. Big stain on bed cover. False advertising for \"Continental breakfast\" only to be told that the large sign in front of the building offering that is old. There's a suspicious red stain on the wall by the gate. Lots of homeless in the area wandering around. Loud sirens, cars all night. AC unit was extremely loud and the controls didn't seem to work. I sent a message to the property for assistance with that but was ignored. TV remote only worked a fraction of the time but i don't think that it needed a new battery as the light would come on. Missing carpet near a stairwell in an inner hallway with more stains on the wall nearby. Missing Air Pods that I'm 100% sure were in room. I've called the property several times and they claim that they aren't there.

Basic hotel, but was a bit dirty, my room was missing a smoke detector and the latch/lock was broken. These issues were eventually fixed, but should not have existed. Obviously a mom and pop kind of place, and the proprietors were friendly, but still quite lacking.

This is a typical bare bones hotel that's a bit aged. However, they are in the process of renovating so things may change when that is done. The room was clean, the beds comfortable, and the staff friendly and accommodating.
It's a 15-minute walk to Mortgage Matchup Center so staying here saved us a ton of money for parking and the hassle of getting out of the parking lot at the three events we attended there over the weekend. I would stay again.

This hotel is fine, great location to all the music venues in downtown and included parking is a plus. Internet not password protected so didn't use that. The rooms are updated and clean, some of the plugs didn't work. The property could use a good spruce up. For a discounted price not a bad deal if you're just looking for somewhere to crash.

Bottom floor was under construction so i couldn't get a first floor room. I have a bad knee so going up and down the stairs was terrible for me. ( no elevator) i got there a hour early and was charged a $10 early checkin fee. Never happen to me before in my life and ive probably stayed at over 200 hotels.

As a budget traveler, I've stayed in a few rat holes. This motel made the list due to its filthy exterior, the interior stairwell and crumbling of the parking lot. The room itself is outdated, but generally clean (although the bedspread had a cigarette hole). The personnel at this property lack any personality whatsoever, but at least were polite at check in. The neighborhood is downright dangerous. I should've done more research. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

I genuinely don't understand how this hotel has as many good reviews as it does. This hotel has a bed bug problem and you will be stuck between a rock and a hard place because you cannot get any kind of refund unless you leave the hotel, so for travelers who may not have much spare cash to get another space elsewhere will be forced to stay and probably infect the new room you change into with more bed bugs. While we may not have minded the homeless people and the incredibly loud surrounding area I know that's an issue for a lot of other travelers so take that into account. However, just don't stay here and risk a bed bug infection. Do not do it.

There were also renovations happening late into the evening, past 9 PM, which made the hotel very noisy. The most concerning part was people walking very close to our window late at night and making strange noises, which made us feel extremely uneasy.
Because of the situation, we didn’t feel safe staying there and ended up leaving before midnight and heading to the airport nearly five hours before our flight.
The room itself wasn’t very comfortable either—the bed didn’t have normal covers and the setup felt inconvenient.
Overall, we did not have a good experience and would not stay here again.

I was in town for a concert and the venue was a 5-minute walk from the hotel. I stayed in this area before and the hotels were bad. The Central Phoenix is at the time I stayed going through renovations. The room was updated and clean. The one thing I missed was \"coffee\", you'd think it would be easy to put a 2-cup brewer in the room. Also, a safe would be nice. The staff were nice.

I went to front desk to let them know and the guy said that their housekeeper didn’t show up at work. Then he sent someone to swipe the floor and clean the bathroom. I would never go there again.

Owners were nice and tried to fix our tv remote( volume wouldn’t work) and I wished they would’ve replaced the remote instead of- oh well, listen to it very loud or turn it off, basically. They’re under construction but that never bothered me. Our door was very hard to open and shut. Door seemed swollen. On their marquee, they advertise “continental breakfast.”When my mom asked about it to the owner, she just shook her head and said no, no, no, we don’t have. Towels felt like a pumice stone. After staying here and then staying at a motel the next night in a nearby town. Even though they both had the same rate, this motel goes cheap for their travelers and the other one cares for my accommodation and it shows that taking extra care in the little things go a long way.

I couldn't even get a room as there was nobody at the office. I walked in to someone already waiting for an hour and then I proceeded to wait another hour with no luck. The area is also terrible and just from the lobby I can tell there should be a Health and Safety investigation.

I'm giving it five stars because it was exactly what I expected. But it is definitely not a five-star location. The construction started at 7:00 on Saturday morning , my door barely opened, half of the lights didn't work and I had to move the fridge to be able to plug it in.

This was the perfect location if you are attending the concert across the street at The Van Buren! Had a balcony overlooking the venue and next to the venue I was able to order pizza and fries from Ziggys! It had a microwave, fridge and blow drier! Would stay again.

There were no amenities, the receptionist was rude, and the room was not in the best condition, even though the hotel is under renovation. We woke up multiple times during the night due to loud verbal fights and screaming inside the hotel. While it is very inexpensive, it is not worth it. Renovations were being completed so going to give grace. No mirror in the room but added when we asked for one. Not many plugs in the room to charge devices, we ended up having to unplug the tv and microwave so items could be charged. It was good for what you pay for. Due to the renovations the floors were pretty dirty so we ended up wearing shoes/at least socks the good majority. It was a place to sleep for the night.

We arrived to initial room at 2am and had a water leak from the ceiling in the bathroom with severe water damage/drooping ceiling, water everywhere on the floor, stains on the pillow cases, and smelled like smoke in a non-smoking room. After the room change, the 2nd room didn’t smell like smoke but still had stained pillows, overall room looked dirty. Booked a different hotel within minutes and left Central Phoenix Hotel by 3am. Front desk was accommodating and apologetic and had no difficulties getting a refund for my two night stay when calling the next morning. The staff were pleasant but the pictures on website were definitely deceiving.

the drawers were mostly all broken, the heater would not stay on, the tv’s volume would not turn up nor down & every 2 minutes the tv would be interrupted, the shower head was broken & falling off, the toilet would not flush, & every time we left the room, the key gave us an issue with coming back in & we had to replace the key twice. the room cleanliness felt like it was not kept up, so we had gone out and bought our own pillows & blankets to sleep on

If I could give a 0 I would DO NOT STAY HERE the smell is sooooo bad changed rooms 2 times and it wasn’t any better. The TV didn’t work. The garbage hadn’t been emptied. There was hairs everywhere. The sheets were dirty. It just felt nasty being in that room lock was broken on the door front desk said they would come and fix it but never did. There was used soap from the other guest in the bathroom. This was the worst experience ever after getting home our clothes. Stunk it was so bad. Nothing like the pictures on the website.

The hotel is under construction right now, and it was only advertised while checking in. The construction noise was very loud and started at 8am both days I stayed. The construction workers were yelling very loud as well. The room was cleaned but it still felt like the sheets and towels were dirty.
