Staff are very friendly, it is family friendly and a lot activities to do. Room was very clean and spacious. Only complaint is the check in process can be quite long and a bit more organized? We arrived a couple of hours early and did the whole check-in with badges and said we had to wait till 2pm for check-in. Came back and had to do the whole line up again where it takes forever for people to do the wrist bands, passports etc. The only difference was they called to see if our room was ready but we already had the key cards. Also, there is a checkin and checkout line up but guests don't really follow the signs so it would be easier if there were just one line and the front desk just serves the next person at the top of the line. But the staff were very friendly.

Walking in was breathtaking. Very clean rooms and staff were really nice. They also did care of their holiday maker by providing shuttle buses from the hotel to the gate which is quite a distance. More entertainment should be provided and not just live music every night. But reat place to be. Will definitely recommend.

Hotel was dirty, most of the activities were closed as were most of the bars and restaurants. The food was quite bad and drinks terrible. The staff were helpful but we left the hotel after one night and stayed somewhere else. Would never stay here again.

Very clean hotel, staff went the extra mile, we had a couple of rainy days and the entertainment team made sure the guests were still entertained. Good selection for eating, very fresh and varied each day. Only negative if it even is one, there’s only one table tennis table and you have to go to reception to get bats and ball with an hour slot, tried on a few occasions but was always just missing out! Would make sense with how popular it is with family’s just to install another couple maybe inside? Over very pleased and will be returning.

The staff were superb from reception to, the cleaning staff, to the activity team at pool side. Cannot fault them, fantastic all round.
Hotel itself seemed I little run down. Quite a lot of things in disrepair or damaged. For example, the mini golf course is in desperate need of repair. There were cracked windows and boarded up windows. The kids play area outside the kids club was in bad repair.
The biggest surprise for us was the amount of extra charges despite us being all inclusive. Most ice creams, drinks, snacks, towel hire, bowling and even two of the restaurants were not included in the \"all\" inclusive (staying at the Polynesian hotel). Not sure you can call it all inclusive if it's not all included.
Overall we did however have a fantastic stay and a really relaxing holiday. Again the staff were superb and really engaged with us and our son. You should be proud of the staff you have there.

We enjoyed the look and feel of the polynesia hotel, it was clean, comfortable and well staffed. The shuttle bus allowed us to get to other hotels in the resort (Village and Riwo) as well as the water park). We made use of the hotel pool most and also visited the local beaches which were only 5-10 min taxi drive away which was also a good change in scenery.
The activities and entertainment on offer at the hotela were great for children and adults alike as was the variety of the inclusive buffet food on offer.
We only stayed 5 days but wished we had stayed longer.

Vi är väldigt nöjda med detta boende. Vi hade all inclusive (perfekt när man reser med barn) och god mat från olika delar av världen serverades under veckans tema-kvällar. Detta hotellkomplex består av 3 hotell och vi bodde på det mindre av dem, Riwo - men med gemensam Beach club nere mot havet dit shuttle-bussen gick hela tiden. Antingen kunde man välja det lite lugnare poolområdet vid hotellet eller Beach club:en med fler pooler och vattenrutschbana, men med något stimmigare miljö.
Städning av rummen varje dag kändes fräscht.
Om vi ändå ska nämna en nackdel med hotellet så var det att solstolarna inte var fällbara, men en petitess i det stora hela.

I stayed here for a few nights in November and absolutely loved it. The room was large and clean. The hotel is very nice. The food was REALLY good! Staff were kind and helpful. There was an issue with adjusting my stay that Expedia tried to help with but the hotel did not respond to which is a shame. But regardless of that, I will definitely return.

As all-inc we were allowed to have obe dinner at eaither the italianor American restaurant at the hitel, when we attended for our booking, we were treated as if we were cheap skates! Staff has no sense of humour! Sold us an awful bottle of wine, upon tasting the wone tasted cheap and venegary! When we tild him the wine wasnt good, ge rhen admittedhe knew nothing about wines and said he probably shouldn't have recommended. But of course, we had to pay for it.
I then went on to order an additional garlic bread as my 2 year old rrally liked it, I was sloken to in a stern voice that i should be aware anything more than one starter, main amd dessert, i had to pay for any extras! I replied that Iwas aware of this and did ge think after paying £9800 fir a 10 day stay, i couldnt afford a piece of garlic bread? It was after this they returbed with a dessert menu but at that point, I just wanted to leave! He probably noticed their service hadnt been great, and offered for us not to pay for the said garlic bread!🙄.

We had a lovely stay at the hotel, the food was lovely, cleanliness excellent and staff very helpful. The only few thing that lets it down was the pool area, although there was plenty of sun beds they could not be adjusted and a lot of them are saggy in the middle, the pool area is concreted cracked and in places. The out side of the building needs painting. It just needs a little TLC.

I spent 4-hours on their chat and phone calls trying to resolve it, no solutions provided.
I kept a copy of the chat also, for reference.
The flight via Whizz appeared cheap, but isn't, they add £20-£25 to select a seat, normally I wouldn't care but I was travelling with kids, so needed to. Whizz also charged me £90 each way to check-in one bag, scandalous! - book a different flight company.
I booked this particular hotel for the kids as it showed lots of water parks, however they were all closed!!
This should have been advised in advance.
There are 3 or 4 hotels within the same complex and they don't actually tell you the hotel name until you've paid - the photos looked good, which is deliberate mis-selling!
I stayed at the Polynesia hotel, and the hotel itself is fine, nice architecture within, however it's facilities were also very very poor. Only one restaurant open, and although I paid for half-board they charge you for your minerals, beers and wine - one should be free min.
The one tiny paddling pool is surrounded by smokers, ditto the restaurant, this is not ideal for kids.
No other pool for free.
It has one indoor paid pool, its £15 for each adult, £12 for each kid, for one hour, its tiny!
Food was average, lacked taste, boring, we ate out, much better food locally.

The good, we were placed in Polynesia hotel, very clean, modern and plenty of sun beds. Staff excellent and very accommodating. Lots of facilities and the beach club was great. The not so good, most sun beds were not useable, old and worn. Food average, evening adult entertainment not worth staying for and some of the amenities, disco and a la carte restaurant closed but we weren’t informed if this. Asked for late check out 2pm instead of 12 and charged 48 euro, even though the hotel was probably half full.

I will start with the disadvantages, I have paid for all inclusive expecting everything included, guess what not at all you cannot even get a small bottle of water you have to fill it up in a cup and also not even a cup of coffee my husband had to get the cheapest coffee from the automatic coffee machine that tastes rubbish but to get a proper machine coffee he had to pay €2.50 per cup of coffee. The food wasn’t too bad but definitely wasn’t much selection of food to choose from. The rooms are out dated for the amount we’ve paid. The entertainment wasn’t bad at least my kids had fun, we barely used Riwo pool as it was not much to do. Every morning we got a shuttle to the holiday world pools it was fantastic there kids had a blast. Lastly my husband accidentally left his two tshirt Iv called the reception twice I found them busy and I left them a message guess what no reply. Overall I think this place need more improvement.

Not what I booked . I booked a junior suite but was put in a standard room in holiday village . Junior suites are in the Polynesian hotel . Not allowed to change , not allowed to upgrade even if I paid more , what I got was a allocation on arrival holiday in holiday world this was made very clear by the staff in holiday village !, The costs also match the Polynesian hotel not the cheaper holiday village !! Completely unable to contact Hotels.com got a customer service email address which was a waste of time as it’s not monitored. Holiday village was a decent enough hotel clean , reasonable food and drink , decent room but I was expecting sun beds on the patio and good views and got four chairs and a view of the local train line ! I use Hotels.com regularly but very disappointed with this arrangement.

We stayed at the Hotel Riwo, one of the four hotels in this complex. If purchasing the roulette deal this is most likely where you would end up. On the plus side, this is a smaller hotel and we liked this as we had a 5 and 2 year old, pools were not overly busy, the evening entertainment was more intimate but you could take a stroll to other hotels to use the facilities like bowling in the polynesia. However, this hotel is placed a good walk up a very steep hill.l, the hotel provides a bus between 10am and 6pm but its a tiring trek if you need to do it with 2 kids. Beac club which is included is great for kids, would be better for older kids and teenagers with lots of water slides deeper pools. The food at Riwo was good. Good selection of foods each day and evening but have to agree with other reviews, can get a little repetitive. Drinks were very good, free slushies for kids and adults had a good selection of premium alcohols like smirnoff, bacardi, gordons, beefeater and loads more all included. All in all a good holiday especially as we got it at a reduced price around January and paid a little over half the normal nightly rate. I would recommend a visit.

It literally catered for everything! The food was brilliant plenty of variety for all the family and great kids only counter. Arcade, trampolines, go cars (additional cost) small play area with slide, kids entertainment and shop on site. All the staff were lovely and couldnt do enough except for 1 guy in the beach club bar..we put it down to him having a bad day though! The water park was excellent we stayed around the jungle which only had water upto my toddlers waste so very safe and enjoyable. Plenty of life guards on duty and toilets and whole area was cleaned regularly. All in all an excellent stay. One small point for possible change, allow express check in when rooms are not ready. We waited almost an hour to check in but the room wasnt ready so we had to go off again and come back for the key. We werent too bothered but might have been better to maybe get someone to go around with clip board checking names then letting them know room wasnt ready get the paper work filled out and thrn bring groups back in 15 minute slots to complete checkin and get info on hotel from receptionist therefore no huge long ques. All inclusive worth it with kids!!!

What we have seen on Expedia photo's before we booked is different than we have saw!!, We booked in Hotel World Resort, they put us on RIWO Hotel which is not our choice as planned ... this is the fist time Expedia disappointed us!!! .. I'm not happy ... Hotel is old, lots of ants in the room (I have a proof of photos and complains), air noises from bathroom showers and basins all day scared the kids, there is a problem in plumbing system ... only one thing are good is the receptionest are very helpful ...

Unless you go all inclusive no options to eat in the hotet unless by the pool you pick something up from the buffet and paid for it which was not nice. The rooms are lovely and the staff and room service. Clean towels and beds dressed everyday. All the entertainment was in Spanish. Shows discos at night for kids were all in Spanish as most of the guests were Spanish no one else was really catered for. WiFi was terrible. Beach club was great

Our first family trip with our less than 3 months old. The room are non-smokng as it says.
We arrived late and get to the snacks bar like 15 mins before the food serving closing time. The staff kindly sorted us out with nice sandwiches and freshly fried fries when the kitchen was already closed. The hotel staff at the check-in also kindly offer us discounted rate to include lunch and unlimited used of the swimming pool unfortunately when we were to proceed the next day the offer is not being recognised.
We dropped one of our baby's mitten at the buffet and the staff kept it and took them awhile to figure our it was ours as I put on a different set for my daughter when we went next.
Our little one was a little big unwell after our trip to Ronda and they kindly extended the room for us for free when we asked last minute. Most appreciated.

The only down side is the gym closed at 7pm and we have to pay 15 euro each for a 90mins swim. Typical funny system for Spanish Resort where they charges for non-existants WiFi, safe in the room etc when you pay a decent amount for a 4/5 star hotel however I guess the system is the system but the staff are so nice and friendly which make us feel looked after.

The hotel staff at the check-in also kindly offer us discounted rate to include lunch and unlimited used of the swimming pool unfortunately when we were to proceed the next day the offer is not being recognised.
We dropped one of our baby's mitten at the buffet and the staff kept it and took them awhile to figure our it was ours as I put on a different set for my daughter when we went next.
Our little one was a little big unwell after our trip to Ronda and they kindly extended the room for us for free when we asked last minute. Most appreciated.

The only down side is the gym closed at 7pm and we have to pay 15 euro each for a 90mins swim. Typical funny system for Spanish Resort where they charges for non-existants WiFi, safe in the room etc when you pay a decent amount for a 4/5 star hotel however I guess the system is the system but the staff are so nice and friendly which make us feel looked after.
The hotel room is nice and clean however found a 'hair' at the bath tub when I was cleaning it up before bathing my baby.

We stayed at the Polynesia hotel on the resort. Emailed the day before we arrived to find out what hotel we were staying at after seeing reviews about long walks after arrival. This hotel is BEAUTIFUL!! Perfect for families with everything on site that you would need including play parks, soft play room, mini golf, arcade and pools. The food was great with lots of variety and regularly replenished, there is a microwave available if needed. The only negative for us was the location. There’s a shuttle bus that will take you to the resort entrance and once outside there is a taxi rank and bus stops to take you to all of the surrounding towns. As it was out of season we didn’t get to use the water park but it looked amazing. I would recommend this hotel and I will be staying there again.

Wow - what a reception area - rooms excellent- pool area great - beach club a bonus - good bus service to fuengirola and Torremolinos right outside - handy courtesy bus to ease the climb up the hill - restaurant varied and family oriented- the English breakfast was not great ( but it never is at Spanish hotels ) so do as the locals do eat fruit , meats , cheese and the many types of bread it’s great !!! — kids loved the kids clubs - The Hotel is a family hotel so no point in booking if your couple looking for a quiet break - Book the Hydros instead and not The Polynesia - loved it and returning as soon as possible

We were allocated the Palace hotel on arrival, it was at the top of a very steep hill. the beach would have been my preference. you would expect you could use all 3 hotels to eat and drink ?? this isn't the case you can only eat and drink in your designated hotel. I asked to be moved they wasn't interested.

Nightmare from start to finish. Staff in this hotel right across the board must be reminded we have paid for the garbage they are serving us and not make people feel they are doing us a favour by letting us eat the muck. Drinks were disgusting. Bars never opened on time. Pool was a toilet. Female restaurant staff are rude and ignorant. Sunbeds are dirty and uncomfortable. Wifi is non existent and we were charged 12 euros. No way is this 4 * I would not give this 3. The chef in the snack bar is the rudest creature ever.
We arrived at 1.30 am to be left standing while the guy behind the desk was counting up the bar takings . We had two children with us who were exhausted.

We had no problem with anything, once there - we did however find it totally unacceptable that we could not find out the name of the actual hotel we were going to, despite contacting Expedia twice before the trip and attempting to contact a hotel. Our trip was chosen specifically to connect with another group and a competition I was involved in. We felt foolish and nervous because we could not even tell the transfer shuttle driver where we were going. Expedia was rather unreachable and not able to answer the very basic question.

We hebben een fantastische tijd gehad in deze accommodatie! Alles was perfect verzorgd: het verblijf was schoon, comfortabel en sfeervol ingericht. De omgeving was rustig genoeg om echt te ontspannen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en deed er alles aan om ons verblijf aangenaam te maken. Ook alle maaltijden waren heerlijk en vers.

Nous étions dans un petit hôtel où l’entrée était accessible qu’avec un bac, ce qui donnait énormément de sécurité très bel hôtel en qualité. La restauration est moyenne ni très bonne ni pas bonne un côté pour les enfants très actif et un côté pour les adultes, très calme autour d’une piscine.

Stort resort med litt upersonlig preg og noe nedslitt. Bildene er fra alle hotellene på resortet + beach club/badeland, så vanskelig å vite hva du får når du bestiller. Det koster ekstra for f.eks badeland, baderinger til sklie i badeland etc etc… Lurt å ha leiebil hvis du ikke planlegger å være på resortet hele tiden,siden det er et stykke til de nærliggende byene/sentrum. Ellers raskt/lett å komme til fra flyplassen. Renhold tipp topp. Det sier møblert balkong,men det var 2 plastik stoler og et bord (vi hadde leilighet til 4)…
