Perfect location, very nice facilities, security service, very clean housekeeper, very courteous and attentive receptionist upon arrival. However, the reception service was very poor in the following days. The biggest attraction is definitely the spectacular view from the balconies; you can see the entire Acapulco Bay!
A huge health problem, reported daily (I have photos), was that cockroaches were coming out all over the room. The facade needs urgent attention. The hotel has everything to be one of the best. Excellent hotel!

Decepcionante. Con excepción de la amabilidad del personal, no puedo creer que un hotel de cadena como este, aún esté como si el huracán hubiera sido hace 3 meses. Esa es precisamente su excusa, por todos lados tienen letreros ofreciendo disculpas, pero seamos honestos, más de 2 años y aún no se recuperan siendo una cadena? Además, e precio está por arriba de la media, es decir bastante costoso. La limpieza deja mucho que desear. La fachada luce destruida aún, incluso el letrero de Ramada está descolorido y casi se desprende. Honestamente no regresaría. Es una verdadera lástima.

For the price, I can’t complain at all. When we arrived to our room, we had to ask for pans, plates, etc., and comforters for the beds. Not a big deal, they were helpful in getting that stuff to us. The biggest letdown for me was they claimed they had a gym for exercising, but they do not have one anymore. Overall great for the price, but I wish the listing was a little more honest.

It was very hard to sleep with all the noise coming from the street. The buses beep all day all the time is extremely annoying. I had a bad experience checking out of the hotel. I went downstairs to return the room’s key and had to wait for the security guard to go to the room and check that everything was ok. My baby was in arms sleeping and we were waiting for the man to come downstairs when a couple came to also check out. They did not make them wait or had their room be checked because the guard was busy checking our room. I was extremely mad bc like I said we had a baby sleeping in our arms. They only good thing I can say about the hotel is the food at restaurant is good and the cleaning staff is very good. If you want to relax and sleep this hotel is not for you

My family and I stayed for two nights. The front desk staff were polite and helpful, and there was an escort to our room which was helpful. The condition of the room itself could have been better - the bathroom walls had water stains, the showerhead had soap scum, and despite closing the balcony doors, there was little sound insulation so the noise from the street stole a good night's rest. The silver lining was that the view from the balcony was amazing, but I would not recommend this spot for a prolonged stay.

Great hotel for the price in a good area

I enjoyed the hotel. They are still repairing after the hurricane but the room was great. Not in pristine condition but good enough. The balcony is incredible with the view. Lots of cool restaurants and bars across the street.
There is a lot of noise from the street with trucks and busses honking alot. That was my biggest complaint. .the area is good as well. Walkable to the Zócalo as well

The hotel itself is “ok” the room had a weird odor but the deal breaker for me was the noise. It was like there was a motorcycle track right outside my room and I was on the 9th floor. It was all night basically and couldn’t sleep for nothing. I know that’s not on the hotel but I will never stay there again even if was for free
Positives- beach is right across the street. There is a grocery store 80 meters from the hotel and a oxxo (7eleven). Nice view from room balcony.

What I liked most was close to the beach and a really nice kitchen. Not many by the beach have a fridge and microwave and this was my favorite in Acapulco so far. Only a lap pool but I go there to be in the ocean and. close to the beach.

If you book because of kitchen in room, be aware there are no dishes, utensils or other kitchenware. We asked and received a few basics to make do. Other than that, we have only good to say about this hotel.

On the positive side this hotel has great views of the bay and is just across the street from the beach. However, the street is very busy and loud. The windows let all of the sound in. The pool looks nice but is small for adults. Better if traveling with little kids. The back part of the parking area is in an abandoned building and feels sketchy. The room itself was comfortable but could use a lot of maintenance (badly stained blinds, oddly placed outlets, old bathroom fixtures, etc.) Staff was friendly and restaurant was reasonable.

Great Room, Kitchen, But No Supplies & No English!

I booked this hotel, across the street from a beautiful beach. But, though the room was huge w/a kitchen and great view there were problems, not easily solved because no one at the hotel spoke English, at best a few words.

I'm not an \"ugly American,\" I don't expect folks on the street to speak English, but at hotels, airports and train stations I do. If you're German or Japanese you probably don't speak Spanish, and you won't find many Mexicans who speak their language. English is the int’l travel language. I can't figure out why it’s not mandatory at an otherwise nice hotel. And a Ramada!

My television didn't work. Took 3 employees to fix it, (remote had no battery). Plus, there weren’t dishes and cookware for the kitchen, nor glasses for water they provided. That was remedied, but not the balcony door, which didn’t lock.

The beach was lovely and it was an easy location to other parts of Acapulco, all easily accessible by bus for 50 cents. I took a cab my first night with help from a clerk speaking a few words and got me to the Acapulco Cliff Divers for a spectacular show. One woman clerk was helpful. Most of the staff were not interested in my language problem or sincerely couldn't help.

Also, cabs from airport are 2x as expensive as Mexico City. Armed with my skill with the bus, with just a carry-on for two nights, I took one most of the way to the airport, which cost me 70 cents, as opposed to the $25 it cost from the airport.

Ramada, get your act together!

So many problems. The hotels.com profile suggests the hotel has its own beach and beachfront restaurant. It does not. The suite with two beds per bedroom doesn't exist. Wifi is spotty. Works in the living room, but not in the bedrooms. One day of our stay (8 days), it didn't work at all. The receptionist is friendly, but quite unhelpful. If you expect to use the kitchenette in the suite, don't. They give you four plates and a frying pan. Barely enough to cook some eggs.
On the other hand, as far as I know, this is the *only* hotel in Acapulco that offers a suite with two bedrooms, so if that's important to you, you have no choice but to stay here.

Beautiful View, But Some Downsides

You can’t beat the view from the rooms, if you’re on one of the higher floors. I was on the 7th floor and had an absolutely stunning panorama of the ocean right out my window. Between the ocean and the hotel, however, is a highway, so expect to hear heavy traffic most of the day and night. There is also a nightclub across the street that played live music until 2 am (but only on the weekend). Bring some earplugs.

As a solo traveler, I had a couple concerns about this hotel. Primarily, there was no deadbolt on the door to the room, nor was there any other security mechanism like a chain preventing the door from being opened. There was just a lock in the door handle, opened by a key rather than a key card. Every night I pushed the loveseat against the door before I went to bed to try to feel a little safer. Second, there was no phone in my room. If I had needed help I would have had to go to the lobby in person to ask for it.

As for more of the upsides: the room was very clean and had modern fixtures and appliances that all worked well. The staff was welcoming, kind, and helpful; they didn’t speak English so take note if you’re not a Spanish speaker. The pool was great and I enjoyed swimming and sunbathing in the pool area. Also there is a large grocery store about a block away, which was really convenient.

This is an okay hotel, very specious rooms. Front desk stuff was nice but nothing special to make me remember any of their names. At one point I had to wait for receptionist to finish his personal phone call before he could help me. Be aware they count the towels they bring you and they will confront you if there is one missing. I had 3 rooms and for some reason the middle one didn't get clean, so when I came back from lunch I found a plastic bag with towels that had my room number. I thought to myself that since room wasn't clean at least they brought me clean towels soI took it. They I went to shower to one of the other room. Well the lady that was cleaning accused us of missing sheets and missing towels. Very bad customer service, why wouldn't they try to find out first what

WAY Over priced for what you get

We paid big Canadian money for one night at this hotel. (almost 2 bills) The balcony was 6 x 20 ft. long and not a stick of furniture on it. Nada. nothing zip? There was a full kitchen with no plates, cups, utensils, no coffee pot, no free coffee. Nada , nothing , zip? Basically, way over priced with no amenities. And not even a free breakfast. We do not recommend this hotel.

La habitación estuvo limpia, aunque se notó la falta de mantenimiento en detalles como lubricación de puertas de los clósets; en el goteo de la regadera del baño, así como en la puerta del cancel del mismo baño que no cerraba bien, faltaron toallas para las manos. La campana sobre los calentadores de comida en la cocineta no prendió. Se encontró una cucaracha pequeña al reverso del buró de la recámara. La alberca estuvo limpia y funcionando en el horario establecido. Las toallas para la alberca y el mar estuvieron disponibles y limpias. En contraste con la falta de mantenimiento, el personal del hotel fue muy cordial y servicial en todo momento. En general, el hotel presta un buen servicio, pero no puedo calificarlo con cinco estrellas. Sería conveniente complementar los servicios contratando al personal faltante que se encargue del óptimo mantenimiento. Notamos poco personal del hotel.

La habitación está bien, a excepción de la taza del baño que no desalojaba bien los sólidos.
El hotel en general de las fachadas interiores y exteriores están destruidas dándole mala imagen, es muy probable que sea por el huracán pero otros hoteles no están así.
Si tienen bastantes clientes y hay dos elevadores, a los cuales o son muy lentos o no se dan abasto.
La piscina está sucia el agua y el canal de desbordamiento de agua tiene algas verdes, le falta buena supervisión a esa alberca.
