Clean. Quiet. Convenient.
Extra perk of a free adult beverage was much appreciated after 9 hours of driving.

Tiffany
My reservation included complimentary breakfast, which I specifically paid extra for; however, the hotel still attempted to charge me, so we ended up going elsewhere. I also inquired about switching to a room with two queen beds and was told none were available, but I was offered what was described as an “ideal rate” for another room for two nights.
While we were at breakfast, I received a call from the hotel stating they had charged an additional $600 for one night, and the desk representative did not honor the two-night arrangement as discussed. Had I known this, I would have stayed in the original room.
To make matters worse, the room itself was unacceptable. There was blood on the pillow upon arrival, the room smelled strongly of smoke despite being a non-smoking room, and there was visible mold and mildew in the bathroom.
Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating experience due to both poor communication and lack of cleanliness. I would not recommend staying here.

Clean and comfortable! Excellent stay!
Richard
The location of the hotel was convenient. There was ample parking. The Hotel staff was friendly and check in was fast. The room was clean and comfortable. Did not take advantage of the breakfast. Overall, I would stay there again.
Brad
I expect better for a hotel that costs nearly $300 a night, the hotels in the area are price gauging because of all the work in the area.
BRENDA J
Everything was very nice!
Maria
Clean room and front desk was hospitable.
Jennifer
Checking in was terrible lady was so rude!!
Ronald
The hotel was very lacking. There was graffiti written on the ac unit in the room. Holes in the wall where looks like art work was taken. Headboards were very gross and worn and terrible odor in refrigerator. Staff was nice but the hotel itself was awful.
Adam
Great hotel. Very Comfortable and clean
Toby
Room was clean, but shower was dirty. Staff was good too.
Kaury

Mckenzie

My family and I stopped here on our way to Angel Fire Resort and truly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was delicious, and our kids were able to eat for free, which was a huge plus. They also have a bar on-site. I’d especially like to commend the staff for calling us to let us know my husband had left his work laptop behind. Incredible staff…we are truly grateful.

The staff were helpful and the room was clean. My only complaint would be that the bathtub had some putty, it looked like, in the drain and the plug was not in it and it looked very puttied (?), too. Kinda gross when you're wanting to take a bath... But, the breakfast was AWESOME!!
er line a little, but it could be the water

The room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, but the bathroom could use some repair in the shower.
Chris
Clean rooms & great staff
Daniela
Very clean, comfortable beds. Was a bummer that we waited until 7:15 am for breakfast and it was never served, and staff kept saying it was almost ready and after an hour and a half we had to leave still with no signs of any preparation.
Lawrence
Room was dated. Rust on the handle of the side cabinet. No breakfast by menu as we were told when we checked in. There was a buffet with cold food.
Adrian
Clean room, clean lobby, helpful staff
Jennifer
The first room was not clean. The bed sheets had food pieces on them. After letting the front desk know was moved to a new room that was clean.
Curtis
No coffee available in early morning. Pot empty and no one checking it?
Ashley
The hotel was great. There’s a run down motel right in front of hotel and a bad sewage smell. But the hotel itself was clean and enjoyable.
James
Great staff, very comfortable bed, quiet (good solid walls and floors, easy checkout
Ashley
Very friendly staff!!!!!
Jeffrey
Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was delicious and staff was super friendly.
Joni
Lobby was nice, large, and bright. Room, lobby, elevators clean. Beds were comfy and A/C worked well.
Rex
The bathroom had hair all over the counter and shower tub. There were stains in the curtains. There were also stains in the shower tub. The pillows were terrible! Definitely needs to be cleaned better. And new pillows.
Teresa
My son goes to college at HSU thats close to this hotel! Price is $220.00 per night an no food included, an on top a $50.00 dollar deposit,in witch i think is out radges, shes smelled clean but had spots on them at least this time the AC worked! The staf is not friendly at all
James
The Television did not work. By the time we discovered it , it was too late to fix. Also, there was not a phone in the room. Had to go down to the lobby to report the issues and was told that some of the rooms did not have phones because they did not work. Not very safe if you have an emergency in the room and you could not call the front desk.
Scott
Power Drunk aggressive employees
Sally
Nice hotel with a restaurant and bar. We were super tired and were glad we could have something to eat without going out. Lovely spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Would stay here again.
Jose
Showers needed fix.
REGINA
Overall the Hotel is nice and very clean! The main issue we had both times we have stayed at this location was the TV. The first time a new remote solved the problem after 1 night. Unfortunately this stay's TV experience was Terrible as we were unable to watch anything on the second night and morning following even after someone had come up to the room on the first night and worked on the connection. I feel after spending 509.00 for a 2 night stay in a 2 queen room with my family that the TV should never be an issue. I have traveled for years, own 2 time shares and have stayed at may resorts and Holiday Inn establishments and I feel that IHG Corporate should be aware that this property has issues. I travel from the Dallas area often due to the college being in close proximity when I visit my child and will strongly consider another hotel in the 3 weeks when I plan to return again. Thank you. RS Dallas area

Don't remember the last time I stayed at a Holiday Inn...but this stay sure was nice. HI is back on the list
Angela
Great stay
We had a great check-in experience, and we were treated wonderfully by the waitress/bartender named Rosie in the hotel restaurant. We’ve stayed many times at this hotel in Abilene and always enjoy it.
Charlotte
Great staff. Better communication about food shortages in the restaurant. Ordered waffles and they came without topping as promised and afterwards, we ran out earlier. Other than that Great!
Keith
Recently refurbished however DirecTV does not work correctly.
Svetlana
Great clean facility
Frances
Staff was extremely nice. Hotel was spacious, clean and safe.
Nicholas
Nice rooms and nice pool.
Sonia
This Hotel and staff are amazing. We had my daughters wedding near by and had family staying as well. Highly recommend.
Angelina
Dirty outdated rooms.
Alexcia
Easy check-in/check-out process. Friendly staff. The only thing I would say is that the outside trashcan as you walk into the main door was overflowing. We used the one in our room to get rid of the trash we had to dispose of during check in. Other than that, good experience.
Travis

Hungry
We tried to order breakfast in the morning, and they said it would take over 20 minutes to prepare eggs. Really?? We had to leave without breakfast to get to our grandson's graduation in Keller, TX.
The hotel was comfortable, no other complaints.

It is what you expect from a hotel. Clean, nice size rooms. Comfortable bed. Fridge. Complimentary breakfast was good. They have a bar with good drinks and food. Everybody was polite and accommodating. I would definitely stay again.

Like staying in a prison.
New building and was clean. Staff was very unfriendly and seemed very disinterested in answering questions or concerns. Very dismissive of patrons and hospitality was beyond horrible. This was the rule rather than the exception. There was only one staff member in the restaurant that was friendly. The hotel was full of penalties and miscellaneous charges for everything including use of the luggage cart. Signs throughout the property was filled with financial penalties and disciplinary verbiage as if we were in grade school or a prison environment. It feels as if you are not welcome at all. The appearance is that separating patrons from their cash is the priority here. We will NOT be captives at this property again.

Not happy
The lobby and exterior were very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. The room we were given was quite lacking. The door to the bathroom was extremely hard to open and close. It kept getting stuck on the floor. The bathtub was quite grimy around the edges and the faucet was stuck in shower mode and would not switch to bath. There was no non-slip texture in the bath tub and my wife and I both almost fell because it was so slippery. The air conditioner squealed when it ran, so it woke us up off and on all night long. We pass through this area once or twice a year and this is usually the town we stop in to rest. We will definitely will find an alternative the next time we are passing through.

No return.
There was no breakfast. I specifically filtered by that, when I was searching for a hotel.
The hotel next door had free hot breakfast advertised on their sign.

The bathroom ceiling paint was peeling and has not been touched up recently.
The floor of the room had stains and has not been taken care of.
The hallway carpet is dirty and it looks like it has not been vacuumed recently.
The tv was on when we arrived and the remote control to turn it off was not working, we ended up turning off the surge protector.
Overall our stay was the worst experience we’ve had for a long time.

Everything about this property is great. The only problem is the motel in front is sketchy as hell. Just be aware, I had no issues. But, just be aware of neighboring motel customers
Layne
property on edge of town which appeared safe it was quite but not for from restaurants and stores.

Dirty showers
The baseboards and floor in the bathroom were nasty. It looked like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. The shower was just as bad with hair at the corners of the shower. I will never stay there again.
Garrett
