The bed was nice and comfortable but when I walk into the bathroom the tub is dirty and u see spiders and roaches and crickets on the floor dead that is disgusting and when I was checking in the white lady tells me they don’t serve people who are from Abilene and if she could refund me she would but she hope she doesn’t get in trouble because she giving me a room because I’m in Abilene this is unacceptable is it because I’m black ? And she kept huffing and puffing if that was the case maybe y’all need to put in the policy this hotel is only for travelers and maybe people would know I never heard anything like that and she was mad because she had to have her boss fix it the next morning and she was gonna get in trouble like honey please I’ll never come back to this hotel ever again .

The place was pretty dirty, someone else hair was still in the sinks and the paint was chipping and the bathrooms smelled like old sewage and the air conditioning was the worst, the unit was super loud we could barely sleep and the tv had two remotes where only one could turn on the tv and volume and the other could only change the channels it was so confusing and the parking lot didn’t even have cameras so we were worried about our car because we were right next to a busy restaurant and the pillows were so flat I had three stacked on each other and it was still uncomfortable

This property wouldn't rent to us because they have an in house policy about renting to locals our ac was out we had no where to go they refunded the money but it takes 3-5 business days so no money left no place to sleep I would not recommend staying here the staff is trashy and the place was dirty!!! I'm not sure why there are so many recent highly rated reviews, but it makes me livid because I trusted those. This place is abysmal. Dirty, decaying, and downright sketchy.
I pulled in and immediately regretted my reservation, simply based on the exterior appearance. I probably should have just cancelled and taken the loss, but I didn't. I'm still alive and I still have all of my possessions, but that's about as good as it gets.
Several things are broken and/or rusted. The curtains are moth-eaten, the window is secured with a screw driven into the track, the sink drained extremely slowly, we were given used toiletries, the drawers and side tables were visibly dirty with debris, and my 9 yo son found a pill under the coffee packets. Also, the pool was completely drained and there apparently hasn't been a hot tub at this location in YEARS, although posted pictures show otherwise.

Not able to use the pool, it was only half full and the water was green. Entering our room (bottom floor), you could smell the mustiness, the back of the curtains have black mold which is bad when you have people who are allergic to it. The sink didn't drain and there was still hair all around the sink from previous. The bathroom was not very well cleaned. There was still a wet towel on the back of the door with blue hair dye on it as well as the shower walls. We won't be booking here again.

Was terrible experience we had gone for the indoor pool cuz we know it was humid and it was not usable it was only half filled they say they're redoing reconstruction but that is I never said anywhere there was film the whole place smelled very musty wasn't a good smell we had to air out the room before we could enter I'm so glad I brought my own febreze a staff was kind of snotty not very friendly room was a little who was dirty it was brown stuff on the shower walls I had to wash it before I could take a shower I would not recommend this one I won't be going back

My experience was not pleasing. I had booked at the hotel because of the pool. I get there, I asked the person at the front desk if there was a curfew for the pool. That is when I was informed that the pool was under maintenance. I had told him that is not what it said on the site. Then the next morning, I get up to take a shower, and it was a very cold shower…I did let the front desk know when I checked and I was told that I was the only who had said something. Not once was I asked if they could do something to accommodate me…from the night before and the next day. Last time I will book a hotel with America’s Best Value Inn.

When I went in, the front lobby was nice. They were renovating, so I thought this is good. When I got to my room, I was so disappointed. The furniture was all kinds of beat up. The bathroom was horrible. The one piece surround, around the tub was caked with caulk. I couldn't bring myself to use the shower. I checked out the next morning and went somewhere else.

The worst place ever. The place smelled of sweaty construction workers and Indian curry. The pool was absolutely disgusting. It had slime floating on the top. We left for the day and room service came in to clean and forgot to leave towels or coffee. The location restricted the amount of parking. Not sure how they would accommodate everyone if they were booked full.

Was filled with contractors drinking in parking lot and gave a feeling of unsafe condition if you were there with family. We were on the ground floor at the end by the back door, which slammed all night, then the workers stood outside drinking and yelling, I finally had to call the front desk. I travel quite a bit and though I wasn't expecting a lot, I got even less than that. The front desk was prompt and courteous, but the property itself was not well maintained, the room was very dark even with all the lights on, the thermostat was set on 65 degrees and freezing, the tv remote barely worked, the hot water was just barely hot enough to take a shower, the room smelled musty, and there wasn't much on the breakfast. Will not stay there again

The room set up was nice, but it was not clean at all!! Got in Friday evening and went to shower. There was someone's hair all on the walls of the shower, there was what looked like mold on the corners of the shower, hair on the \"clean\" sheets. We went to turn the lights and TV on, only for them to be unplugged (weird). Then Saturday morning I was greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom. There was a coffee pot and cups, but there was no coffee in it to make for the 2 days we were there. The walls were super thin, could hear everyone around and above us. It's very misleading, because the lobby area is very nice, rooms......need A LOT of work and the cleaning staff needs more training on how a room should look and what is clean!

When we got to our first room, there was a large black hole in the corner of the shower that looked like mold, and the surround looked like it was going to fall off the wall. The second room was not much better. The bathroom looked to have some mold in the calking in the shower, and the area around and under the mini fridge was disgusting. It did not look like there had been much deep cleaning going on throughout the property. Also, someone had spit in the corner of the elevator and it was there the whole weekend...even after we saw housekeeping get off the elevator!

Lots of potential but a bit run down. The lobby and pool look great, but you don't sleep in the pool. The shower had mold in one corner and the sleeping area had no lamps or lights of any kind. The miniature living room was really neat. You can't control guests when they decide to be jackass's. A previous guest had decided to smoke in a non-smoking room . I was ready to sleep on the floor by the time we got in, but my wife noticed right away. The front desk was awesome.

The 1st room we had was bad. One of the beds had some kind of bugs crawling in it. Then we checked the 2nd bed and found what appeared to be pubic hair on it.
After complaining we were moved to a 2nd room which was much nicer and cleaner.
If you are looking for a place to just sleep then this place is good. If you are looking for something that has all the amenities it advertises then go somewhere else. Washer didn't work, no heated indoor pool. The hot tub they claim they have doesn't exist. Where it use to be is a tile floor now.
I can't complain about the staff. The staff were super nice. Its not their fault the owner doesn't take care of his property.
After complaining we were moved to a 2nd room which was much nicer and cleaner.
If you are looking for a place to just sleep then this place is good. If you are looking for something that has all the amenities it advertises then go somewhere else. Washer didn't work, no heated indoor pool. The hot tub they claim they have doesn't exist. Where it use to be is a tile floor now.
I can't complain about the staff. The staff were super nice. Its not their fault the owner doesn't take care of his property.

my time in this hotel was not what I had expected. The staff was wonderful and hotels was clean. however, the hotel was very run down. My husband had to request to switch rooms because he was to afraid to fall threw the floor. The photos on expedia look nothing like the hotels, also they had a photo of the pool with hot tub and that is no longer there. When I booked the room the price was supposed to be $70 a night and I was charged $10. I was on the phone with expedia for two hours to get them to fix it.

There was false advertising The hotel showed it had a Jacuzzi, and workout/fitness center.

Hotel a little dated, large rooms, we were on the top floor and not only could we hear the people in the next room talking, but everythi ng that was happening at the fast food restaurant beside us. Just a very busy area, but staff was friendly.

Fairly Nice Hotel In Need of Maintenance
The hotel was relatively inexpensive compared to others in the area but our room was poorly maintained. One of the boards from the shower was pulling away from the wall, the toilet paper holder had come away from the wall, the towel rack was hanging from the wall and each of the light bulbs in the fixture above the sink were different shapes and colors.

The staff was friendly and the parking lot well lit. The room was about the size that I expected. The bed was comfortable. No wash rags available in the room. Mold in the grout of the shower/tub. The lighting in all areas was not warm or bright. The lights were dim and a blue color. A large dog was in the room next to us. It barked all evening into the night. I called the front desk to ask if something could be done. The desk asked if I wanted to move to another room. I replied that I already had my belongings spread out. Could the dog and owner be relocated? Thirty minutes later, all was quiet.
A little bit of maintenance on the facility would go a long way. It doesn't appear that the ownership cares. At the same time of my visit, my nephew checked in and went to his room. It had beer bottles and trash, and had not been cleaned for the next guest. Very little quality control.

The hotel worked great for my needs, but could use some updating. There were a few negatives...my room had some stains on the carpet, a broken leg on an end table, three burned out light bulbs over the sink, could hardly see out of the window and a bit of an odor. On the plus side, the AC worked well, tv satellite service was great, comfortable beds, clean linens, and an excellent shower. Current construction on the frontage road made hotel parking lot access a challenge, but this isn't the hotels fault and should be completed in the near future. Without question, the best feature of this hotel is the staff. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone is kind and goes out of their way to greet you and tend to any of your needs.

The hotel was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy. The free breakfast was very minimal. I'm gluten-free and can usually find a couple things I can eat at a hotel breakfast but not here. Also, they couldn't accommodate my request for hotel water to make tea I brought myself (except for microwaving a styrofoam cup--no thanks). I had a banana.

This place was horrible it could use a complete overhaul. There was a phone charging in the room that was not ours the lights didn't work so we can see the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling look like someone had try to come to the window I cannot recommend this place we came out itching

When making getting ready for the trip, I made a phone call to the Hotel. Asked of the pool was heated and open. When we got there, the pool room was cold as was the pool, and it was running on the wrong pump, cloudy and cold.

There was no indication that remodeling was going on. The rooms smelled like paint very strong.Beds were comfortable carpets were dirty. Had to switch room first one was not secure windows would not lock on ground floor. Continental breakfast was good. Very noisy. Price was to high for actual conditions. Wifi was spotty. These places have to understand the importance of having good wifi service for travelers. Entrance to property from highway difficult in and out.
