This place is not nice. It's so so so super outdated and I still somehow paid $263/night in Abilene Texas. I will not be staying here again. Check-in was slow. I stepped outside my door at 8:45a and the door shut behind me and my key was already disabled so I had to go to the front desk in my Pjs. Just, no.

Furniture very worn, old bathtub, torn shower curtain, torn window curtain. Coffee was like warm from a so called Starbucks bar and super expensive. Overall the place is showing its age. Some staff were slow to respond.

The property was clean, the staff was very nice, especially the early morning receptionist. She was very sweet. My only suggestions would be to have the bistro open in between the breakfast and dinner hours, and also there was no coffee available our first morning like most hotels have available all day. Also our room and the hallways had a strong cleaning smell, which was a little too strong for me.

The room did not have a ventilation fan in the bathroom, any outlet near the bed was worn out and wouldn't hold an electric cord for charging. The room had plaster filled areas that were not painted. The hallway had loose wallpaper in areas. Service was great!!!!

The staff at the hotel and the cafe were amazing! Very impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. They were very accommodating.
The rooms could use an additional mirror outside of the bathrooms.
I found small bugs including a roach in our room. I disposed of them, but unsure of there is some sort of pest control. I did a search of our room to ensure if there were any additional pests, but didn’t see anything.
Also, I had thrown away leftover food in a trash can inside a side entrance. After leaving the property and coming back in the same entrance, the food had been removed and was in the floor. I would recommend securing those entrances during the daytime as well.

First night the air was not cooling down. The next morning the floor on the side of the ac was soaking wet. I reported it and they said they would come vacuum it and offered for us to move. I declined, we would be fine. Second morning it was soaking from the unit to about the middle of the room. We reported when we were leaving.
There were only 2 cups for coffee for 2 people staying for 2 nights. 1 glass in the restroom.
Bed was extra comfortable, excellent room location for our accessible needs. We will certainly be back!

Really not hard to please?

Elevators were down. However we did get two room on 1st floor. But that would have been a problem. Mini fridge would open in cabinet. Must have had a leak at some point. Only Bold complimentary coffee with tiny cups.. Inconvenient location.

Not ever again.

This was an ok stay. We got notified that the elevator was not working which is fine but there were a few thinks l things that did not meet my expectations.

The room was VERY SMALL.
Pull out bed was VERY uncomfortable amd small.

When we asked the front counter of they could turn on the firepit we were told \" you shpuld have asked the maintenance guys when they were here earlier\" One that is not MY JOB to wait around for maintenance. Everyone should be properly be trained on how their amenities offered.

Wallpaper was falling off the walls. There was blue tape holding up the wallpaper at the front desk which was bot appealing.

Staff was nice.

Booking through Hotels seemed to be an issue?

I arrived late around 12 midnight... The elevator wasn't working and they only had a 3rd floor room left. I asked for some type of compensation and they asked me to call Hotels after midnight and get a refund. I needed a place to stay so I didn't want to cancel. I was able to get a free bistro breakfast after some negotiation. Room was very comfortable, but loud!

The ladies at the bistro were upset because we showed up about 5 minutes before they closed. We utilized the pull-out and no sheets pillows or blankets. We called for some and they brought us a sheet. We asked for another and she seemed peeved. We told her we were going out and would pick up at check.- in desk. Well they only had the sheet we had to ask for pillow and blanket. 40 degrees outside they gave us a real thin blanket not even duvet insert. We called front desk 3 times @10 pm. We got no answer my sister had to go down herself

Just OK

The staff was really friendly and cheerful. The bar staff was great too. This is the only reason we didn't give it a worse rating.

For some reason we were given a handicap access room. We didn't really like it, and there was hardly anyone in the hotel the week we were there. The lights were off and on - flickering. The plugs on the lamps on either side of the bed were so loose they would not hold a plug in for a phone charger. The coffee pot didn't work. We reported it, but it didn't get changed. We checked in on Monday and out on Friday and got one towel change on Thursday. They didn't make the bed. I know it was Christmas week, but...

There was a massive pile of bird droppings outside on the patio of the room. The excrement was in front of the air vent, so the air to the room (heat or cold) could not be turned on because the smell would permeate the room.

The elevator was out of order during our stay. The proper is located in a good area. I highly recommend if you order breakfast from the bistro on site check the expiration dates on the yogurt and juice. We ordered our breakfast to go. When we got back to our room we discovered the yogurt and juice were expired by a month. Did I complain no. We had a funeral to get ready for so we just tossed the food and move on with our day.

The hotel looked fine and the reception area including the bar was excellent. However, they should not claim to have a restaurant in house because the only thing available was breakfast and it was all pre-cooked foods. No free buffet as most hotels provide.
My wife and I are elderly but both are mobile and do not use wheel chairs, etc. Because we are more comfortable with safety bars and showers with easy access, we requested a handicapped room.
As requested, we were provided a “handicapped room”.
The room had only one chair in it and it was a desk chair. We requested an additional chair and was told by staff that they would try to find one. We did not get a an additional chair during our stay.
Lighting in the room was at best marginal. It was impossible to see the microwave oven controls without a flashlight. The lighting in the bath room was poorly designed and there was not a light over the freestanding wash basin, making it very difficult to see images in the mirror above the basin.
Overall this was not a satisfactory accommodation.

We had to change rooms as the mattress sounded like a trash compactor when sitting on bed or laying down. No TV. No pool. We were changed to another room and the balcony was covered with pigeon POOP! Disgusting and health hazard. Also a nest in the corner of balcony with 2 eggs. Again no TV. No pool. Front desk was called and they said \"yeah, we have had a problem with birds. We should have never been assigned to that room with the balcony like that. So we weren't able to enjoy sitting on balcony in the evening. The staff were kind but offered no solution. The Housekeeping staff we had were very courteous and willing to help with the change of our room. All staff were friendly but that didn't make up for the condition of the balcony.
