Carpet in the room was nice. A/C probably has an override, as the room was warm some of the time, even when we adjusted the thermostat.
Owner has an obvious dislike for the Democrats, so we won't be booking any room there again. Also, the posted signs are just rude, as to rules. Seems to be hostile.

This was a very nice hotel. The only thing that was a little strange were the signs (the first one when you walked in said something like “We are politically incorrect. We say “Merry Christmas”, support our troops and love God”). There was a tiny Jesus in the rooms and a bible verse on a card. Other than that it was a great property!

The service was just delightful. The breakfast and customer service and smiling faces make it a one of a kind place away from home. Never had breakfast at an INN to were it felt like sitting around with family and the food was super great! Believe me, you stand out and that in a Good way! There was no mention of the pool being out of order until AFTER I was checked in for a non refundable 2 day stay over memorial day weekend. I asked for cleaning service and the beds were made, and towels were brought in, but the floor no vacuum run across it (as I specifically requested) so my toddlers mess was left to be further pushed into the rugs. There was a heavy mildew smell in the entrances and hallways. Save your money. I stayed elsewhere the second night, without question.

We made a quick trip to Abilene to attend a graduation party. We requested an early chk-in, but when we arrived our room was not ready, so Maria, front desk manager, (soooo nice) quickly got us into another clean room!

We really liked everything about this property! It's VERY clean, comfy beds, quiet, and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast was great!
There are also several restaurants and a shopping mall that are all walking distance. We enjoyed the stay very much and will definitely stay here again when we're in Abilene.

Older Hotel but not a chain. Room was large, comfortable bed, good shower pressure.
Disappointed the pool was closed. Water looked great but something was being done where electrical wires were out on the deck. Breakfast was very good and they keep food coming and very welcoming. Check in and Check out were very good and staff very kind. Good price

The hotel has an older look in the hallways. Other than that, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was great. They serve waffles, eggs, bacon, potatoes, muffins, yogurt, biscuits, bagels, milk, and some other things.
The hotel was clean, and the room looks up to date! And the staff were amazing, and they were super friendly. The kitchen breakfast staff were just as great too!

The AC worked great and the beds were comfortable so I slept great. Although the bathroom was outdated and the sink had been painted and was peeling the water pressure in the shower very good once you could get the lever pulled up. I had to get my husband to do it and try not break the faucet. There was an odor in the room that I believe was from some painting that had been done. Everything I had smelled of this when I left. There was no volume on the TV.
We would not stay here again.

This hotel is a lot older and run down than the pictures/review portray. The staff was friendly and the room was not dirty, but it is definitely in need of repairs and remodeling. The door knobs were broken in the bathroom and the AC took some work to get it to come on. There is old dingy carpet which is not my favorite. Their amenities included 1 small shampoo and a tiny hand soap along with styrofoam cups that were not wrapped. However the bed was comfortable and sheets were fresh. Just a disappointment from what we expected as the ratings show a 8/10 star review. We personally will not stay here again.

Solid buffet breakfast with hot items, waffles, and cereal. Vernon kept everything in tip-top shape; during my 4-day stay, everything was kept full. Staff would come around to ask if you needed anything – a level of service I've never experienced at other hotels. Hallways are wide with fresh looking carpet. Solid value

Bed was advertised as a Tempur-pedic bed, but it most definitely wasn’t a Tempur-pedic, so yeah definitely won’t be staying there again

Wow. The ratings for this place.
I booked because of a restaurant and bar on site and reviews of breakfast. arrived at 9:10pm. Restaurant and bar are closed. closed early “because it was slow.” No charm or character in the place.
The bedding was light weight so had the heat on all night… which helped. I slept decent.
The breakfast. There were two signs to let you know, “only three pieces of bacon per guest.” Never seen that at a hotel breakfast. The biscuit was okay.. the gravy was lukewarm and cold before I finished. Absolutely overrated and not worth booking this hotel for. Book for the price.
Lastly - about 3 hours after I checked out and I’m on the highway, a person from the hotel called me and said I had their TV remote. She told me I had left my white remote in the room, and had taken their black TV remote. I asked her to clarify, and she said “all of our TV remotes are black. Our black one is gone and your white one is here.” Okay - um, I’m not traveling with any white remotes, can you send me a photo? She said no but she would talk with housekeeping and get back to me. But it sounded like she was ready to charge me for a remote.
Then nothing else from the hotel. Two hours later I call to see if it was cleared up. The previous guest didn’t have a remote in the room, so a white one was sent as a replacement.
