Very disappointing experience. We checked in late at night and found that the pillows in our room were visibly stained. I went to the front desk and politely asked if we could be moved to another room, but the employee just got upset instead of helping us. Nothing was done to resolve the issue.

The next morning, the complimentary breakfast was extremely limited. There was only cereal available, and some of the milk cartons were expired.

Cleanliness and customer service were unacceptable. I would not stay here again or recommend this hotel to others.

If I could give a negative star rating, I would. The pictures online are nothing like the property. Save your money and find someplace else to stay! My first clue should have been when I walked through the door and the a/c wasn't working in the lobby. The bathroom appeared unclean; there was hair in the toilet, the sink didn't drain properly, and in a room with two queen beds, there was only one towel, one wash rag, and one hand towel. There was a hole in the fitted sheet on one of the beds, the TV didn't work, and if you are on a business trip and need to use the desk, there is no good lighting. The pool is empty; therefore, not usable. Breakfast, if you want to call it that, was served in the lobby with no a/c and consisted of dry cereal with no milk, waffles but no butter, oatmeal, and fruit. The only good thing that I can say is the a/c in our room worked.

The location was close to the freeway, with easy on- and off-access. However, this is an industrial area. The hotel room was very dirty, with large stains and dirt on the couch, stains on the bedspread and top sheet, and the top bed sheet was so worn that the threads were bare. There was a ring around the tub and no bath towels. there were two hand towels, and one wash rag, and one of the hand towels was dirty. we did not feel that this hotel was very safe as the side entrance door was blocked open with rocks and the automatic door closers at the top of the door was completely ripped off. Leaving this door, easily accessible all night long.

Our stay at this place was awful 😞. Got there and got room and was checking things out and there was a thing of Vaseline in the pull out couch and I told the front desk and they acted like they didn't care. When I booked the room it showed the pool was open, but got there and pool didn't even have water in it. I will not ever stay at this place again. Was the worst place to stay and the AC in main building was not work and so it was very hot in the building. Also was told why booking that there was a baby bed and there wasn't one. Very bad stay don't recommend staying there.

Super 8 canceled my reservation 2 hours before check in. I had no idea it was canceled until I tried to check in. Clerk said they were overbooked and that they cancel 3rd party reservations first. So when I went to check in, I was informed my reservation had been canceled by them. I was really disgusted because if they aren’t going to honor hotels.com reservations completely, super 8 should NOT be advertising rooms on that site.

We had no bath towels. No sheets on bed. Crumby front desk when I asked for for glasses and where to have a meal. And advised us to have breakfast somewhere else. I walked a few blocks to find a pop machine. Just to say the other Super 8’s were fine. There was a drawer full of old bottles and the place was unclean. But it was late and as seniors who were on the road all day, I asked for some sheets that I put on the bed and slept the night.

We were only given two very flat pillows, and when I asked for extra pillows, I was told they didn’t have any available. The pool was under maintenance and not available for use. For breakfast they only had cold cereal and fruit. The waffle machine was down. They did not bring us extra towels when asked. And the remote for the TV did not work and when we told them that we had to turn it on and off manually, they say sarcastically to My Husband that he was half smart. When we went to the front death they were never there and available. We will not be staying at that hotel again. Thank you.

The hallways hadn't been vacuumed in weeks, dirty q-tips and bandaids on hallway floor.
The staff were unconcerned about the conditions
Grounds were unkept, the grass was ankle deep, the pool was drained except for the bottom foot of mud.

The parking lot has several large potholes. The outside of the building appears poorly maintained. The back door (east side) was never locked and usually standing open. Trash was pulled up and scattered around this back door for the three nights that I stayed there. The \"Free Delux Hot Breakfast\" that is advertised on their business was non-existant. This place was FILTHY. As soon as I drove up, I knew I was in trouble, but area hotels were booked up for graduations.

The woman at the front desk was very nice, it the hotel clearly had some ongoing work as building arts were stacked in what should average been the dining room. That was my second clue.

The room door was challenging to open and oh, the SMELL—some sort of acrid chemical odor. Third and fourth clues.

Worn carpets, high I could deal with, but the sink hadn’t even been cleaned. Washed my hands and the sink didn’t drain. Had a mtg and had to drop bags and run.

Returning 2-hrs later and the sink still hadn’t drained. Alerted desk and explored the rest of my non-smoking room. Cigarette burns on the comforter, stains on the couch, fridge door hadn’t been wiped in weeks or months judging by the layer of grime and dust. The TV also had streaks and there was no remote. Went to air the room using the fan, and the cover was broken along with button covers. There was a huge grease stain on the nightstand.

No way I was going to get bedbugs or something from sleeping in that bed, so I bought new sheets to sleep on. I alerted the front desk to all these issues and the receptionist did her best to fix the problems.

Before checking out, I asked the hotel manager to do a walkthrough and pointed out all the problems. First he gave renovations as an excuse, then said I had to talk to Expedia. Expedia says talk to the hotel. End result: I got screwed by both sides.

Breakfast is extremely small but sufficient for a hurried trip. I was there for a surgery and the girl at the front desk (i wish i could remember her name) tried to keep me close to the elevator and even hugged me before i left for the hospital. She also loaned me her blow dryer as someone literally ripped the blow dryer off the wall in the room. I will stay there again because of the staff. The beds are very broken down but even with the issues i have and the back procedures i still slept comfortably!! Oh also if they're are multiple ppl staying out you're like me... all for extra wash clothes at check in. There's only 1 in the room!!! When asked how long the renovation would take, was told they weren't renovating, just putting down new carpet. Meanwhile the building was extremely rundown and needed paint and new windows. TV did NOT work, even after she put new batteries in the remote, that didn't have a back as she said people keep stealing remotes and even microwaves! The toilet seat in the very run down bathroom was broken all the way across and liked to pinch your ass! NO coffee or coffee pot! When asked to be put in another room she said the hotel was booked, but it certainly was NOT! Reached out to Hotel.com as well as Wyndham in Abilene and have YET to get any response! Waiting to get a FULL refund and will gladly accept a free reservation for an upcoming trip. When leaving the young man at the front desk confirmed there was NO management on site. When I said this was the worst experience ever, he politely said Thank You!

No hot water in the shower. When I was checking out the desk clerk was asleep with his head laying on the desk. Had to ask multiple times to get him to wake up to clear me out

It was loud outside the room all night. The air conditioner did not work. There was no shower curtain. The beds were nice but the rest of the room felt dated.

They oversold and the manager canceled my reservation morning of. Didn’t communicate that to me. I drove 5 hours and was told by the front desk there was no room available. Offered no help, no apologies, no assistance. Terrible customer service. Hotel also a mess, undergoing construction.

The staff at the front desk when I arrived was nice. When I got up to the floor that my ro was on, there was messes everywhere up & down both sides of the hall. There was a box springs mattress left in front of the vending machines to where you couldn’t get to it or the ice machine. They were renovating the hotel so I could understand it being a little messy, but the way they left everything was ridiculous. The next morning when I was leaving, they had trash cans on opposite sides of the hallway blocking the walkway & I could barely fit through there. The room was a decent size though & was fairly clean. The ac/heat unit’s buttons were messed up & unreadable, so you couldn’t tell what you were switching it too or what speed it was going too.
