This place is incredibly dirty and unkempt, at least the room I stayed in. I reserved the room and checked in around midnight, because there were no other rooms available in the city.

Upon entering this room, I was greeted by the sight of dead roaches on the floor, accompanied by a pungent smell. The furniture appeared to be in a state of disarray.

I immediately called the front desk, and they apologized for the situation. They informed me that they didn’t have any rooms available and would come to sweep the room, which they did. However, I couldn’t sleep there after spotting another dead roach on the pillow and the mattress was discolored with a very unpleasant smell.

I’m not sure if this was just the room I had, but it was exceptionally filthy, especially considering almost $200 rate they charge. I ended up sleeping in my car.

Good enough. Manager was VERY Helpful.

The motel served it's purpose, nothing special about it. Bathroom and room was clean. Obvious wear and tear on the bedding, etc... Be aware that trains run beside the location (twice in the night with Horn).

Biggest knock against it is the same for ALL of them in Abilene, too pricey for what they are.

The room was not clean. There is a train that runs all hours of the night with the airhord full blast. When they serviced the room they didn't get the dirty towels or leave clean ones.

The bathroom was exceptionally small and the mat in the tub was filthy and torn up. The mini frig had mold growing in it. The train ran through every 90 minutes or so and blew its horns. It is very clear that the owners do not care about this motel. I will NEVER stay there ever again!

Dirty, stale cigarette smell, homeless /drugies on facility grounds. Unkempt and broken down rooms. Microwave was molding when asked for new one they gave me a wash cloth and spray cleaner to clean it myself. Towels had holes and were more like rags that stunk of mold. bugs, ants and train right behind the rooms that runs at all hours of the night. Not worth the money or the risk of contracting some nasty disease.

Don’t waste your money

Disgusting , there were bugs , sink was clogged , toilet wouldn’t flush , there was no toilet paper. Payed for two nights and only stayed one , didn’t receive a refund but didn’t care because this place is nasty and unsanitary, save your money.

This motel is directly across the street from train tracks, so VERY noisy The sink had toothpaste splatter from a previous guest, and when I pulled the shower curtain closed a used washcloth fell out! Altho the sheets looked clean, I was bitten on my arms 4 times by something diring the night. When I approached the manager he gave me some spiel about how a storm damaged his roof the week before!? Not sure how that equates to bad housekeeping...maybe his housekeeper also does roofs? Overall, if you can find somewhere else to stay, I would.

Overpriced and dirty No pool as advertised. Electrical outlet by the bathroom sink not working. I have stayed at this motel before and was placed in a better room in the front and was charged the same amount of money as I paid thru Expedia. My grandson and I were placed on the backside close to the street. Extremely noisy area. They advertised they had 1 room left. Not true. The majority of the rooms were empty. Good for a work crew but not good for a woman and a child.

Fairly nice hotel in an older part of the city.

We we're arriving verrry late, and they didn't mind. The location was easy to find. Good price, new furniture, vrry nice decorating and friendly, helpful staff. There is a train track across the street which was active, but we were very tired and do not remember it waking us.Just be aware there is no swimming pool any longer, nor a breakfast

Hotel was a decent price, pictures featured however look nothing like what it really does in person. Thankfully we were only passing through for the night because I was terrified we were going to be attacked by bedbugs. Half the lights didn't work, there wasn't any maid service, Fridge was rotted out and didn't even work. Wall was full of holes and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Overall even 1 star is too many for this \"hotel\".

You get what you pay for

Beds was fine, but a warmer blanket would have been nice. TV cut in and mostly out. Train runs right behind the rooms, and the whistle is very loud, but it did not wake me. You get what you pay for, and in this case the low price reflects the overall quality of this older hotel.

\"Sleezy\" is not harsh enough!

The clerk treated me like I was about to rob him from behind the glass.very creepy.train running right next to the hotel.tub faucet fixture broken.no towels or washcloths other than two hand towels.people in the next room banging the headboard against the wall for hours (among other noises).no place for my pups to potty.i had to find a patch of grass next to the hiway at a neighboring business.in my opinion,it's not even worthy of being a \"pay by the hour\"establishment,much less,the 90 dollars they charge people.i was afraid my dogs were going to catch something.it was a horrible experience.please DO NOT recommend this place to travelers.i can't stress this enough!

Comfortable stay,convenient location

My wife, son and I were going to a festival in Sweetwster TX. The following day and we chose Best Budget Inn for its proximity to a great Chinese buffet restaurant as well as to the drive in theater. The hotel was great considering the cost-very reasonable-nice decor,comfortable bed and pillows. Also,we had a microwave and a fridge for those in-room munchies. My wife appreciated the hair dryer and my son the free wi-fi. All in all: GREAT!

Well it was completly nasty, holes in wall covered with duck tape, dirty towels, and just completly nasty run down place. Rude staff who yelled at me when I finally got my refund proceessed after 3 attempts. First directly asked management who said I would have to contact booking site, second attempt contacted booking site who then contacted management who said no - same dude at place who I asked who told me to contact booking site. Third attempt refund accepted but dude yelled at when I returned room keys (no card system). I was going to stay in my car before staying in that room. Once refund processed stayed at another nicer hotel for about $20 more. Nasty very nasty.

Hotel situated on old business highway across the road from the railroad tracks. Trains run frequently. Building is old and out of date, yet is clean and adequate. Nice WiFi, flat screen TV, cable and remote, microwave and refrigerator. Comfortable non-smoking room with good king bed. Parking convenient immediately in front of room. Reasonable price.

The trains were close across the way from the motel/hotel. The mattress was not comfortable and the pillows were not comfortable. The chairs were dirty with stains. The window latch did not lock. The carpet needs to be shampooed. The paint looked new and the granite at the sink and tub area were nice. However the other adjustments need to be made to make the motel/hotel more inviting along with a dining area for a complementary breakfast.

A 1950's style motel.

Generally ok and clean except corners and behind furniture were obviously dirty. Probably wouldn't have stayed here if other places had been available. It was a very busy time in Abilene, TX, with three colleges having their graduation ceremonies all at the same time. The motel charged $75 per night and Expedia charged another $25 per night. We thought this was way overpriced since there was no breakfast included. We also thought $25 per night Expedia charge was outrageous. Our total was $300 for three nights, which seemed overpriced for what we got.

Room was generally clean although dated. Service was almost non existant and if you made special requests for additional towels, pillows etc. it was met with resistance. I tried to call the room for my wife during the day and noone answered the phone. I would not reccommend this hotel for other than a place to lay your head.
