There was nothing to like about that property. When we arrived , there was no air conditioning in the front lobby. When we entered our room , it was eighty three degrees in there. The t v would not work. The flooring was bubbled up and chipped in numerous places. One of the lamps was not working so it was dark in the room. There were scrapes and bumps all around the walls. The only ice machine they had did not work. It was a hundred and four degrees outside and the pool was closed!!!. That room was absolutely not worth the money.I spent to even stay one night and I will never , ever stay there again!

Disgusting from the moment I stepped out of my car to check in. Grounds were unkept & littered with trash & cigarette butts, lobby had no air conditioning. Room was just as bad or worse. Bed shook just setting bags on it. Carpet was pure filth. Tub stained or filthy. Hairs in the bed sheets. Put everything back in my car and left….leaving me to search out another hotel at 11:00 at night. I knew it wasn’t going to be a 5 star hotel because of the price but just needed a place to lay my head for a few hours so I didn’t need luxury but this place was beyond disgusting.

The property is very run-down.
I see a lot of deferred maintenance.
The rooms look outdated.
My deadbolt did not work.
The toilet is sized for a toddler. Not an adult.
The air conditioner in the room was so loud it did not let me sleep.
I did not see the \"breakfast\".

This was the most horrendous hotel that I can remember. Upon entering the room, the floor was covered in dead roaches. Went into the restroom and discovered a booger that was wiped on the wall. After leaving the restroom I noticed that not all of the roaches were dead. Not wanting to discover or possibly take home anymore surprises, I grabbed my stuff and left. Since I got in late, I couldn't find another hotel with vacancies. I ended up sleeping in my car and I'm happy I did. This was one of those hotels where you know you're screwed the second you pull into the parking lot.

Upon arrival, the ice machine was not producing any ice. The room was not clean - cobwebs around door frames, the toilet had not been cleaned (bowl was dirty and there were stains of hair), the bathtub had accumulated dirt which would not drain out, television did not work. Staff offered to switch to an alternate room, which was in even worse condition. I will never stay in a Super 8 again. The company charges royalties from the property but does not appear to enforce minimal standards. Stay away from this property and consider staying away from Super 8.

The pictures of the entire location are misleading. Nothing on the lobby was as represented. No breakfast(other than fruit loops..and some not good looking waffle batter). No coffee lids or sleeves for a to go cup.. No fruit, donuts.muffins or yogurt to choose from.

Had to switch rooms bc the a/c was making a racket. The replacement room was extremely dated..and “in my opinion”..not what i was paying for.

Extremely disappointed in what i got. Could easily have stayed on the other side of the road in a nicer spot. Wish o knew how badly it was being misrepresented.

This was the grungiest, most decrepit hotel I have stayed at in decades. There were patched holes in every wall, many unpainted. The carpet was stained everywhere. The one chair was stained and the stuffing was coming out of the fabric. The shower was disgusting and looked to have never been cleaned. The smoke detector was gone; just a mounting plate left on the wall. The only coat hanger was a plastic one with clips that you would get when buying kids clothes at Walmart. This is the first time I have ever considered contacting the Fire Marshall and Health Inspector for a hotel.

Everything was dirty and the \"free breakfast\" thing is cereal out of a dispenser lol. Rooms were clearly AI-ed to look better. Paid 200$ for a room in a crack house haha.

The premises are from the late nineties and hardly updated-I really thought I had entered a bad dream of flea bag stereotype motor inn. After I walked in the first room, my sinuses triggered-mildew and mold, damaged floors and sheetrock, broken tv, etc. The second room they emphasized a luxury room-entered I thought way better, bigger and not as damaged, but still smelled of flooding, mildew etc. I dared not take a shower there either and sleeping on the bed made a car crash sound if I moved? Yes, definitely a barely two star rating, as I hate giving one star anywhere-but this one would be a candidate if I wasn't so embarrassed for paying $150 for a $38 dollar scary motel room movie set from 1992...

Rarely leave reviews, but this didn’t meet expectations. Didn’t expect it to be fancy, but expected it to be clean. It wasn’t. Carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and sheets weren't clean. Got in late from long day of travel so slept on top of bed rather than hassle with switching hotels. Bathroom and shower was clean thankfully, but a dirty towel was hanging on the door. One towel looked dingy and dirty so used the other towel which, at least, smelled clean.
On the positive side, the front desk person was helpful and courteous, the bed was comfortable, if not clean, and the air conditioner and refrigerator worked. Overall condition of the room was pretty bad with damage to the walls, musty smell and an obvious water damage spot on the ceiling.
It was a last minute decision to stop in Abilene, so I picked this hotel due to convenience to the freeway and overall price. The pictures looked much better than the reality. I should have looked at the reviews, as there are many similar reviews to mine.
Wouldn’t stay here again.
