Booked for my daughter and her family and upon arrival, they were told they weren’t even supposed to be able to book this place as it’s for long term stays only. The area is a little shady, it’s noisy outside, and the pool wasn’t in use. Wouldn’t recommend staying here at all!

When we booked, it said nothing of the case that the pool was down for the \"Season\" in the middle of summer. Very Disappointed. We tried and tried to call the hotel days before our trip to make sure the pool was working and no one ever answered the phone. Never again

There was a infestation in the room we got of small roaches. The room smelled a bit and it seemed like it wasn't very clean. I pulled away the sheet on one of the beds and the sheets looked a dingy. Spots of dark black were on the sheets.

I didn’t stay in the motel. I got it there the night off and I said I couldn’t check in until 3 PM. I was there to pick up my son from the Air Force so I had to sleep in my car. I think I own an apology on this app for letting me book and not be able to sleep. I needed somewhere to sleep at night not to sleep in my car, this is just ridiculous taking my hard earn money I would like a refund

The water would trickle only out of sink faucet .The pool was closed and was in the 90s waiting for the city to inspect before opening .It's very busy motel that acomonated the work force.Was a satisfactory stay

The room I got was in terrible condition. The shower was dirty and the entire room had a VERY strong odor of cigarette smoke. The TV wasn't working because the cable was torn out of the wall. The bureau had holes drilled into it. The mattress was also very hard. The overall condition of the property was bad, parking was also inconvenient. For the price they were charging, I ABSOLUTELY would not have booked the stay. The one redeeming quality was that they refunded most of the payment, I booked for a week and did not stay one night.

Dump. Dog friendly but the back area to take your dog had poison oak. Trash all over the place. Ideal for the day laborer or someone looking to score a lady of the night or dirty needles.

The shower had some kind of mat or something that was imbedded into the floor. The walls were dirty. The mini fridge did not close and the smell from the sink was awful. I paid for two nights then my cards were deactivated and they told my son I only paid for 1 night, even with my receipt showing two nights. He had to pay for another night again since all of our belongings were in the room. We will never stay at Motel 6 again...

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. i booked the room through expedia and upon check in i was given the wrong room. i got a room with one queen, non smoking. they put me in a room with two twin beds. when i asked for my room to be corrected they put me in a smoking room. the room was also filthy, the bathroom clearly hadn’t been cleaned. there was pee all over the toilet seat and the toilet paper was obviously never changed. i have asthma and cannot stay in a room that’s been smoked in. when i went back to the front desk to ask for a refund, the manager said he couldn’t do anything because the room was booked thru expedia. i called expedia for help, and they called the manager and informed me that the manager was refusing to refund me. i had to just give up and check out and find a different hotel, without receiving any of my money.

Definitely an okay stay! I am a young woman that solo travels, so it seemed a bit sketchy at first glance. The employee was happy to show me where to park, and assure me where my car would be okay. It does appear to be a location that caters to a blue collar community. Slept just fine.

The mattress on the bed was sunken in the middle so you had to sleep on the edge. The toilet was loose and rocked back and forth when you tried to use it. The entry door gad about a half inch gap -you could see through it to the outside. And worst of all, there was absolutely NO hot water.

I didn't try the pool, I had to remove the cover and clean the ac vents and coils, clean the restroom and shower, and turn the fridge on, after I wiped it down 👎. The night clerk was nice and allowed me to park in the unoccupied handicap space so I could watch the tools in my truck, he was my only positive experience.

Parking easy. For the price this is a great place to stay. I would not recommend to a family or kids stay here however. This place is strictly for construction workers or people working somewhere needing a roof over your head. It isn't a bad place, just very basic and dated. For me traveling solo for work..this was perfect.

Holes in the only piece if “furniture” where TV sat . Nothing but the floor to put out suitcase . Two small bars of soap no shampoo etc . No breakfast which we knew but coffee in office ir room would be nice . Only reason we booked there with Expedia was with the storm others I tried to book were already booked . I understand motel 6 is a low value chain but Thry could try harder . Only good thing was bedding was clean and newer . My husband has a CPAP machine , he had to have it on the floor. We will NEVER book with motel 6 again

I have stayed at a large number of hotels over the years but our stay at the Hotel 6 in Abilene Texas was my/our worst experience EVER! Upon checking in the desk clerk told me 4 times that the room was none smoking- ok not a problem we did not smoke! Upon opening the door it smelled like some one had just put out a cigarette! I promptly walked back to the lobby to document that no one in MY PARTY was smoking in the room - just to avoid an unwanted charge. Once in the room I inspected the beds and mattresses to make sure there were not any seen bugs- ok passed that test- we were tired needed rest- set the alarm for the next morning- no need our neighbors above woke us at 5:30 walking and slamming boots and who knows what else on the floor- shower time- and lights on- to say this place was the most disgustingly dirty- despicable place I had ever PAID DOLLARS for is a gross understatement . Shower did not drain- gross toilet , walls - any surface- just gross- if you’re brave and have a hazmat suit- good for you- FAMILIES I AM SORRY DO NOT SPEND THE DOLLARS ! It is disgusting and gross! No coffee, no hair dryer and I honestly believe they use soap scraps for the soap -

Yes, the AC worked and the place is pet-friendly, but that’s where the positives end. The room was in such poor condition that I didn’t even feel safe getting into the sheets or using the shower. There was dog poop stuck to the floor, the furniture was damaged, unstable, and looked like it had been chewed apart, and even the door was a struggle to open.

On top of that, there are no food options anywhere nearby, which made the stay even more inconvenient. This was not a comfortable or acceptable experience.
