We liked our room, and the staff was friendly. On the morning that we checked out the breakfast was a bit lacking. No coffee, waited for a while then gave up. I was also a bit disappointed in the pool area. The room was so uncomfortably hot that we decided not to swim. We will stay with SpringHill Suites again because the rooms are fantastic.

I absolutely loved this property! They were so kind to our family from start to finish. My daughter had trouble sleeping because she forgot her medication. My wife had to drive 2 1/2 hours back home, 2 1/2 hours back to bring it to her. She woke up late for breakfast, but the staff was so kind and hooked her up anyway. They didn’t have to do that because it isn’t required. They offered to do that just because. They didn’t even know the whole situation of why she woke up late. when we go back we will use this location again!

Our stay was clean and the beds were comfortable. Felt safe with many other families staying in the hotel. Parking was great. The only issue was not enough luggage carts. The front desk only has 2 and definitely needs more for the amount of people needing them. Free breakfast was great. The coffee was consistently out, but the lady trying to keep up with everything was very friendly and tried to get more out as soon as possible. Overall, it was a great day and would recommend over other hotels in the area.

We won’t be staying here again.

We did not have room service. The refrigerator froze our food. We did not have shampoo but had 2 body wash. One kept falling on the floor and wouldn’t stay taped to the shower wall. The room was either too cold or too warm. It was hard to regulate the temperature.

I’ve stayed here before and had a wonderful experience but this last time wasn’t as great. I don’t know if the refrigerators in the rooms have changed but it wasn’t convenient to have a fridge that would only cool for two hours at a time. Shouldn’t have to push a button for it to kick on. After our second night we kindly asked if we could have a refresh of towels and we we returned the towels looked like they were just thrown on the couch. All the dirty/used towel still left on the bathroom floor. The trash was emptied but wasn’t replenished with new trash bags.

Marriott should disenfranchise this hotel

We arrived for check-in and the lobby was full of people waiting in line with one older gentleman who seemed incredibly confused trying to check everyone in. We waited approximately an hour and a half in the lobby to check in while children ran all over the place, screaming and practically knocking guess over. Finally, after we checked in, we went to dinner and went to our rooms after returning to the hotel. This was a typical Marriott hotel room and I as usual got the accessible room. The room was freezing no matter what I did. I could hear the guy in the next room roll over in the middle of the night. The wallpaper was literally falling off the walls. Literally stay anywhere else.b

The property manager, Zac (no “h” on the end according to staff), REFUSED to talk to me because I used a third party (Orbitz) non-refundable reservation. The manager literally hid in the office. I was so enraged that I almost went behind the desk and almost called the police.

As a Marriott Bovoy member, I have never been so disrespected. This is because the staff and manager have ZERO accountability, in their minds, to reservations booked through an agency.

I will NEVER use Marriott again. I will now always book Hilton.

Some parts of the hotel looked like they needed fixed. The couch bed was dirty, but the room was nice. Except the ceiling in the bathroom needed repaired. The pool was cold and the pool room was roasting. Some staff were friendly and others were rude. Free breakfast was convenient and it was a quick drive to Silver Beach. The stay was fine, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

My experience was almost so bad as to be funny. We had a significant number of service complaints which we took up with the manager. When I posted a negative online review, he literally ejected us from the stay, giving us thirty minutes to pack our bags. You can't make this up.

Super friendly hotel staff! Beautiful spacious rooms. We really only had two complaints but honestly it isn’t a reflection on the hotel.
1. The second night we stayed the fire alarm kept going off. It was annoying but again no reflection on the hotel.
2. There was a group of guests that were extremely rude, not just to us but to the hotel staff. Our last two mornings my husband and son went down for breakfast and only came back with coffee ss some of the guests acted as though they had never seen food before so they piled their multiple plates and left nothing for other guests, we had to go out to eat breakfast which wasn’t budgeted but not a big deal. We were appalled the way they spoke to the hotel staff and other guests.
We will definitely be coming back again as BH is where I am from and we come back yearly to visit family.

I booked the handicap room with accessible shower. When I arrived to the hotel it was booked. How is that possible. The room shouldn’t have been available for me to book if it was occupied. Then they only have one handicap room with an accessible shower. When the patrons left. I was told the room was available. My family and I was there for a funeral. During the repast my husband and I had to switch rooms. When we arrive to the repast it was over. Just highly disappointed.

The rooms were decorated nicely, they were mostly clean but the backside of the bathroom door had lots of some sort of soap/scum film (room 411) on it.

The staff was friendly. The lobby was nice. The room amenities were appreciated. (Microwave, fridge, desk, couch, tv, heat/ac with good controls)

Sadly the ‘Free’ WiFi was so terrible it should not be listed as an amenity - that’s a con. I knocked a star for this. 0.35mbps. They charge $5 to get ‘premium’ but we didn’t purchase it since the free stuff was so bad and no guarantee of service or speed at $5. Internet 1/3000th the speed you have at home isn’t internet at all.

The last concern is a design oversight. There is only a sliding barn door for the bathroom. A traditional close-able door at the toilet would be more ideal providing real privacy that’s appreciated in a small space.

So so stay wouldn't come back

We stayed for a couple of days the ptact unit air filters were dirty .nthe unit in itself was noisy specially at 2 am. Had to adjust the cover to make it stop . The sliding door to the bathroom woul.get stuck . The stand up shower didn't seal very well so water got all over the bathroom floor.

Just close enough to the beach without the expense

The stay was excellent. The air blows COLD! I personally loved ut as Iam often hot. I had a small issue with the TV, it was reported on a Sunday so i knew nothing would be resolved due to low maintenance staff. I checked in Monday morning and the woman at the front (forgot her name) was a big help. She got me in another room quickly, and went the extra mile to bring me a luggage rack and my new key to my door.

All the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean. They also have comfy beds and the couch was comfortable too. I especially loved all of the lighting in the room. You could choose what lights or lamps to use, it wasn't the typical one switch. I saw the pool but did not use it, as I spent time at the beach nearby. The pool area was small and without a hot tub which is normally my preference.
There are outdoor seating spaces in the front and on the side of the hotel. The one in the front has a firepit. Breakfast is the typical pre-cooked items and a waffle making station. They have 3 waffle irons which helps move the line. The staff remain visible and consistently refilling items and cleaning the area.
The hotel is in a hotel district so several hotels are grouped together. Just around the corner is Walmart and a few other retail places that are helpful when traveling.

Check in was quick. There were 0 luggage carts- and I was put on the third floor! Get to room- thermostat was set in air and 60 degrees! Sat down at desk- desk chair was broke and wobbly tipping me out. No one refilled the shampoo bottle in shower. It’s was an ehhh stay for two days

The breakfast was a little disappointing. Packaged oatmeal, no whole wheat or whole grain options, no cream cheese for bagels, coffee was not a good flavor.
Other than breakfast, the room was great, staff very kind and helpful, location is convenient. A number of good restaurants/fast food options, Walmart, Staples, etc. Would definitely stay there again. This was actually my 2nd time staying here.

While the room was nice, it smelled like someone had been smoking in there for years. I also had an issue with the wi-fi and when I asked the staff about it, they gave me an 800 number to call to troubleshoot myself, which ended up taking forever. The area surrounding the hotel is not the greatest.

Still functioning like during COVID. No one comes to your room unless you request it the day before. You must take your dirty towels to the laundry area to get clean ones unless you have requested your room be cleaned. Breakfast was good if you managed to get to it before things ran out. The lady taking care of the buffet was extremely busy and could have used a helper. I did not see anyone assisting her. The room was spacious and I like having a walk in shower. The hotel supplied body wash, shampoo and conditioner. There were bottles of each hanging on the shower wall. That was very nice.

This hotel is a newer property with upgraded features such as a firepit outdoors for guest enjoyment. The pool area is adequate but does not have a hot tub. The exercise area is a nice quiet spot for a workout and has lots of options. Breakfast isn't anything special but it is there and filling. We stayed in a suite - a large room with 2 queen beds and a pull-out couch. Our room was only sub-par for cleanliness - the toilet in the room had not been flushed, there was an empty bottle of wine in the fridge, and when we went to make the couch into a bed there was a half-eaten package of baby food that fell out of the cushions. Dust was everywhere on the appliances in the room. It made me feel like they did not bother to do anything in the room besides changing the sheets. That being said, we stayed comfortably in our room for a 2-night stay without needing much.
