The pool and hot tub were both down. The hallways were dirty. They’re ceiling tiles falling in multiple places. It looks very old and rundown. Breakfast was hardly anything at all. Could not take a shower because black stuff kept coming out of the pipes.

This hotel needs a major update. No way someone should pay over 100 for a room that when they walk in, it's freezing because not a lick of heat was on. Ice machine out of order. Hot tub out of order. Pool cold. Vending out of order. Barely any breakfast food put put. No proteins. Just sugar. My husband is a diabetic and couldn't eat.

Needs Updated Bad

Needs updated, musty smell, i was able to clear up the smell by opening the window with the fan on. Picture has mold inside it maybe this is why i was waking up with my head clogged and sinuses bothering me.
Walls stained, shower curtain rod was damaged, the curtain would drop to the lowest point of the rod because the rod was almost pulled out of the walls at both ends.
Turning on the sink faucet was almost nearly impossible. Tv could be of a better picture quality, low high definition ut not todays standards. Lamp was tapped together, carpet stained. Wood furniture was pealing in various places. Hot tub was not operational. Widow was badly hazed out and not able to clearly see out.

Our room was not clean especially the bathroom. The tub was very dirty, we had to go to the store and buy bleach cleaner and scrubbing pads to clean it and the toilet seat. One of the housekeepers was walking around barefooted and in her PJs caring dirty or maybe clean linen without gloves.

Nice and efficient place to stay.

We just needed a place for a fast overnight stay to attend a family function. Staff was very friendly check in and checkout was very efficient. As expected there was some traffic noise as the hotel is right off a main highway, but the room was clean and comfortable. The serve yourself breakfast was perfect for a quick bite to eat to get back on the road quickly. Appreciated coffee and tea being available all day.

They do not serve any hot breakfast. They have a waffle maker, the coffee is terrible and you have boiled eggs. There was candy and peanuts on the floor and no coffee maker in the room. The bed was so uncomfortable it was like sleeping on a wood floor with flat pillows. Even when the pillows were folded they didnt support you. The staff was MIA. The elevator broke and we were on the 3rd floor with 3 children under 5. The house keeping staff was walking around without shoes. The store rooms were so full and junky. They brought us a crib and it was stained with idk what.

The shower was full of black dirt on the sills. It was just running off the walls in the bathroom. Fire alarm was hanging by a wire out of the wall. There was tissue stuffed in the peephole in the door and not removed before our check-in. The bathroom sink wouldn’t drain.

You get what you pay for

Staff was very nice, but the hotel needs serious upgrades. We brought our dog
because it was a pet friendly room, which is great. The downside is at the carpet smelled like pet urine which I understand in pet room he think will happen, but there are certain cleaners. You can use with enzymes to get the smell out and if it’s been a while, I think it’s time to replace the carpeting.

Upon entering the hotel, we were met with an unusual smell of old musty carpet. The front desk clerk was extremely helpful & friendly. The room was semi clean. The sheets were stained and looked worn in color. The toilet struggled to flush. The soap in the shower was completely empty. However, the front desk clerk replaced the bottle. There were several ceiling tiles in the hallways that were falling/caving in. There were also multiple places of mold on the ceilings. The chair in room #209 was extremely stained and sticky/oily like it had never been cleaned. On the upside, a few of the amenities like the pool and continental breakfast were appreciated. The pool area was clean and had fresh towels. The breakfast was well stocked and when an item was low it was replaced quickly. Overall, an okay stay but the hotel could really use an update, fresh paint, and a deep clean.

The gentleman that checked us in was amazing with customer service. That's the only positive I have for this hotel. The stopping that kept going into well past 4 am kept my kids and I awake. I went to the desk around 3 AM rang the bell and no one came to assist. When I addressed the issue and the response from the lady at the front desk was \"We had three complaints about that, sorry\" and checked me out without any sort of actually addressing the issue. Family vacation was cut short with tired kids and exhaustion.

Firstly, I have to say that our checkin lady Christina was WONDERFUL! She was great at checkin/checkout and she was lovely during the breakfast. Keeping food tidy and stocked. The room was GROSS. Black hair all over the bathroom floor, shower wall, filthy carpets and corners, leaky sinks. Filthy drawers in all the dressers and nightstand. There were ants in the corner of the bedroom by the AC unit. The headboards were so nasty and the walls were so bad that you walk around to cautiously to
Not touch anything. Yellow looking stains and blood like staining on white sheets, pillow sheets, and towels. It made for a real uncomfortable nights sleep not being able to use provided bedding or towels. Needs a MAJOR improvement in touch ups and cleaning crews.

Hygienically unclean rooms - do not risk it.

I could tell the moment I entered the room that it had not been clean, not just since the last guest, but probably in a while. Upon entering the room, the air conditioner was off (in the middle of summer), making everything in the room feel damp and smell heavily of smoke. The damp feeling and the smell from the hotel stayed on my clothes, and I had to purchase other items for the rest of the trip. There was mold/mildew growing on the air conditioning unit, and in the bathroom wall and around the toilet. There were visible sticky and greasy substances on the TV stand, night stand, and headboard. There was splatters on the wall by the trash can. Before taking a shower, I had to clean out the tub due to the hair left behind (which was also on the bathroom floor). When I went to turn off the light next to the bed, I noticed the partial condom wrapper sitting on the night stand.
In addition to the general hygienic and cleanliness concerns, there were repairs that have not been attended to (the light in the bathroom is just an exposed bulb, the counter under the sink was hanging there, and outlet covers missing).
I was booked for two nights, and only ended up staying one - and I only stayed the one night because there was literally no other room available in town. Hotels.com were great and were able to get a refund for us for that second night.

Upon arrival, front desk staff was sitting outside and nobody was manning the front desk. Employee who hadn't clocked in yet took care of the check in process. Had to change our own sheets because the ones on the bed were dirty and was informed that there was no 24 hours maid service. Front desk did deliver new sheets without an issue.

To begin, the staff was amazing! They were so nice and helpful! The room overall was fine. However, the pillows are hard and flat - I had to go ask to get extra pillows. the bed was extremely uncomfortable -- hard and felt like it was old and damaged. Didn't sleep very well. The fridge didn't close properly. The location was great! Right off the highway, right next to a breakfast place and down the road from the beach and downtown St. Joseph.

Room clean. Friendly staff. Quiet area other than highway noise which didn't affect me. Free breakfast was appreciated with good coffee. No problems at all . Very close to the lake and St. Joseph Silver Beach which was what I was looking for. Did not use the pool or Hot tub but will book again in the future. Right next door to Cracker Barrel which was a plus as well as other food options. Dove Bath Products provided was nice. Great value for what I needed.

Raggedy... in definite need of some TLC

First thing i noticed was the beat-up homemade partition with nasty plexiglass from the Covid Era separating you at the desk... it is what it is. Hallway to my room smelled like Chinese Food, which would have been ok had I been at a Chinese restaurant... not a hotel. Carpet stain at the foot of the bed that was deep red in color... I hate to think what it probably was. The breakfast? Better off hitting a gas station on the way out of town. Pickings were slim, so I couldn't be choosy. If you have other options... I would suggest it

It's a good place to book for a quick stay. I called on a package that arrived a day after I left; the guy who took my call was rude. I asked about the status of my package and he had no clue. I stayed here for a business trip. The room was reasonably priced and very comfortable. It was cleaned every day with fresh towels. Plenty of charging ports for phones and tablets, lots of channels on the TV. Pool and work out rooms and a decent breakfast was provided.

The first room we were given had several broken items in it and a bad smell. When the cover over the light fixture fall off we asked to a different room

Our stay was amazing!! When I checked in, they gave me a different room right next to the side door so we could take our dog out!! And it was closest to the spa. They were so wonderful! The breakfast was yummy too.

Is this a luxury hotel? Obviously not. But it was exactly what we needed, and the staff was caring and thoughtful and we had an excellent experience.

The property is in a convenient location to the hwy (although there is major road construction currently going on) and to gas. Also there are some dining options which are walkable. The staff at check in was pleasant, the bed was comfortable however the signal for both the tv and the wifi were weak and had some issues. The property itself is in need of either a refresh or an update. The breakfast options were minimal. Overall alright but not someplace I would stay again.
