Great location in the centre of Valletta just right for exploring the city and close to all forms of transport to visit the rest of the island too. Staff make you very welcome in the hotel - rooms, breakfast and facilities were great and no the pool isn't too cold. Local restaurants are good we didn't have a bad meal and they were well priced. If you need snacks then a visit to the local Spar shop is a must - it's not like the ones at home! We will definitely be returning to Malta 😀

Superior Double Room, with Terrace, 5th floor, facing the street.

The walls are not soundproof, but quiet enough. Mainly plumbing noise carried between our room (504) and those next door. Not a problem for sleeping hours though.

Breakfasts were great, as was the location in Valetta, directly opposite the French Consulate on a quiet 1-way street near the centre.

The TV has working HDMI inputs for a computer connection (bring your own cable), and the WiFi was fast and reliable.

UK style outlets, not European. But two table lamps in the room had European plugs, and their respective outlets appear to have been slightly modified to accept them. So we used those receptacles to plug in our own (euro) stuff.

Staff were excellent in all regards. I'd stay here again in the same room without hesitation.

Perfect location, peaceful and a short walk to main street.
Junior suit was beautiful with stunning city & ocean views looking towards Sliema. Small balcony but it was too cold for us to use.
Excellent facilities - safe, hairdryer, coffee and tea, filtered water available.
Breakfast offers good selection. We had an early flight and reception arranged for a breakfast box for us to take out - sandwich, fruit, bottled water and bottle of OJ.
Wonderful and friendly staff.

The location is really good as it is easy walking distance to everything. The staff were very friendly in the interactions I had with them. The room was well furnished with enough space and storage. Although on check in I had a hairdryer that had bare wires and no plug - this was rectified on request.
I was disappointed the restaurant only opens for breakfast (not lunch and dinner as advertised) and despite the bar being stocked, this does not open.

I wouldn't return due to significant noise issues and the impact this had on my sleep. My biggest memory from the stay was the amount of noise I could hear in my room. Soundproofing is non existent so I could hear other guests in the corridor, staff cleaning in the morning, toilet flushing above me and extremely loud music from another venue late at night (despite being in an internal room with no windows).

Some hotels deserve 6 stars and this is definitely one of them! Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Special mention must go to Daniel the manager, who on our arrival gave us wonderful tips for restaurants, places to see & how to get there, all of which proved to be amazing! We stayed in room 501 which was ready before check in, spotless and spacious with an amazing view & wonderful terrace. The breakfast choice was plentiful, with a cold buffet plus a hot choice cooked to order, all of excellent quality and quantity served by cheerful & friendly staff! Special mention to Winnie whose smile lit up the room! The housekeeping staff kept the room and the entire hotel wonderfully clean & tidy, discretely & quietly but always with a cheery hello!
The location was quiet and peaceful but only 2 minutes from the buzzing centre of Valletta. Absolutely no faults, can not praise it enough & would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel! Plotting our return already! Thank you Daniel & the whole team!

Our stay at La Falconeria was absolutely wonderful. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel is so clean and well organized. The refrigerator and coffee station was refreshed each day. We loved the Maltese balcony in our room. When the windows were closed it was so quiet for a good might sleep.

My only disappointment was that there weren’t anywhere you could get a drink and sit on a terrace or other later in the day!
I used the gym facilities once and whoever picked the pictures hanging on the walls needs a quiet word. They were really thought provoking and made me feel really queasy and played on my mind for a long time through the night! I had a Pastizzeria waiting for me but I couldn’t eat it or anything else after seeing the 4 pics in the gym. There were another pic on the wall just outside the gym but I tried my hardest not to look at it as I didn’t want to turn my stomach further! Please take them down as they are gross and made me feel like the mattress I was sleeping on was filthy dirty! I didn’t go back to the gym again as didn’t want to see the pics again!

We liked everything about this property and had a great room with a balcony in the 6th floor (recommend) except they don’t have smart TVs and the offerings on cable were limited. That said, we didn’t go on vacation to binge on Netflix or HBO OR AMAZON Prime.

Excellent breakfast (although the musak could be maddening). Always helpful staff. We enjoyed our Maltese balcony - once we had worked out how to prop the windows open. East to get to the centre although up a steep road. If you want flat, Valetta is not for you. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at La Falconeria. The room was great giving us a view of the street below but with the balcony doors closed very quiet. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast which was included was excellent with a variety of choices to choose from. Overall our stay was great and the hotel would be our first choice when we return.

Every single staff member I came across at the hotel was so friendly and helpful. Right in the centre of Valletta, it was incredibly easy to get to any part of the city in no time. I was lucky enough to get a surprise room upgrade and ended up in an amazing suite with its own rooftop terrace - absolutely wonderful and made my holiday! Would thoroughly recommend this great hotel; you will be very well looked after by a lovely team.

If there was a negative or two (& these are niggles) it would be the lack of a bar in the evenings, the curtains in the room were dated and the bed was not fixed into position!

Fantastic hotel in the heart of Valletta Old Town. Small boutique hotel about 2 blocks downhill from Republik Street and everything Valletta has to offer – attractions, restaurants, shops. Everything I wanted to do was within a short walk. Located on a quiet side street across from the French Embassy. Very nice room with king bed, in-room safe, fridge with comp mini-bar, and large bathroom with walk-in shower and bathrobe. Very nice restaurant with several choices for a made-to-order comp breakfast. Staff was very helpful with sightseeing suggestions. Hotel will arrange your transportation to/from airport for a very reasonable fee, which can be added to your room bill. Very pleased with my stay and would highly recommend La Falconeria.

paid extra to get balcony with view of church dome but my room had the balcony but a view of building across the street. there are three rooms with balconies - rooms 201, 301, and 401 but only room 401 has the promised view. Disappointed as hotel ad shows room 401 with the view and was expecting that view. No reason to pay extra for a room with a very small balcony and a view of a wall. Feel this is false advertising and should receive a partial refund. Discussed this with hotel staff on checking in and seeing the room but told the only room in this category with the advertised view was occupied and there were no other rooms available. Disappointed in response.

This hotel was a perfect location in Valleta most places within 10 mins or less walking. But also away from all the noise of the town. Views were beautiful if you face the city from the 4th floor upwards.

Breakfast is included and that also included some fresh options cooked for you the eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious.

The only small issue we had was the staff didn’t seem very informative when asking how to get around and didn’t recommend any excursions.

Also the cleaners in the morning were very loud could hear them banging around every morning from around 7am.

The only downside is the pool which was created from a previous underground well which is circular more like a plunge pool rather than a swimming pool.

All staff very helpful and friendly in every interaction. Hotel very clean throughout. Bed comfortable, room minimalist and only 2 English speaking tv channels, clean, well appointed bathroom with good supply of hot water at all times.
Location perfect for Valletta ,within walking distance of all attractions yet mostly quiet street opposite French embassy ( has 24 HR police presence which helps !) Balcony extension to room tended to be bit noisy during high wind and rain but nothing too disturbing.
Breakfast selection choice refilled regularly and welcomed each morning by very pleasant staff team. Nothing too much trouble.

My only complaint was that the pillows were lousy. But believe me, that was a minor issue since everything else was outstanding.

The hotel was fine but lacked any sense of warmth or connection. The staff were fine but offered no additional information, assistance or advice on how to enjoy your stay in Malta. When we requested to have a taxi booked for our departure they forgot to do this so we had to remind them. There was a distinct lack of interest from the entire team which I find extraordinary and very disappointing

This hotel was ‘almost’ perfect. The issue was that the bed was ‘uncomfortably’ firm and there was a flashing sensor in the middle of the ceiling. This meant that I didn’t sleep much at all.
Sort these out (and the limited TV options) and it’ll be perfect.
Location, breakfast, facilities, style helpfulness etc all very good.

Smart hotel in a great location right in the middle of Valletta. Large room and nice breakfast. Unfortunately, our room (101), was right next to the cleaners closet so we were wakened every morning. Room could have done with a comfortable chair. Also, television is restricted to a few Austrian and German channels, not even anything local. The hotel has no outside space, it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit and enjoy the sunshine.

Having said all that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent hotel in old Valletta with good breakfast and walking distance to the main attractions. The staff at the reception is super friendly and very helpful. They arrange and sell tickets to everything you can think of. Even a taxi to the airport is paid there and you are not worried to be ripped off. Breakfast is a combination of buffet and a la carte (included) and restaurant staff is friendly and welcoming. Room was kind of small, but with a nice view.

The property was very central to everything. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and there was a variety of food for all tastes. Glad there was a lift as we were on the 4th floor. Everything was immaculate. Our only criticism was that the bed although was a double bed was actually two beds pushed together which sometimes shifted causing a gap in the mattress.
The staff, Patricia, Raja, Kishoor, Roniel and Winnie were lovely and very helpful.

Great location for short break in Valletta

Lovely hotel in a great location walkable to main sights and bars / restaurants.
Staff were all really friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a couple of minor issues with our room (faulty hairdryer and shower door) but these were both sorted really quickly and responsively. Would just suggest an upgrade of hairdryers as they didnt match the standard of the rest of the hotel.
We picked a room with a maltese balcony which gave us a lovely space to relax/have coffee and had great view. Room was a good temperature because of this too and having both windows and AC as an option was great. Beds were good and really lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Breakfast was part self service / part made to order with lots of choice.

Perfect location in Valletta, just a couple streets from the main shopping high street. The room itself was well furnished with a small fridge, television, and sizable en-suite. There is a lift available, and air conditioning both throughout the hotel and in the room.

My only criticism would be the lack of a smart-capable television, as the extremely limited channels on offer made time spent in the room slightly worse off.
