The hotel is at a prime location with short walking distance to two MRT stations and major department stores. The hotel staff are courteous and responsive. The room is clean. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei.

There is a mall inside the hotel and there are plenty of places to eat nearby and close to convenience store (7 Eleven) if you want snacks. The gym and pool were out of service when we were there due to remodeling which was a bummer. Nice breakfast buffet with a lot of choices. They offer discount if you eat in the restaurants located in the hotel which unfortunately we forgot to take advantage of. Very friendly, professional and helpful staff.

This is an older hotel with and inner courtyard that goes from floor to roof. The courtyard is used for their buffet style meals. I had breakfast there every morning and it was very relaxing. The room I got was a Rosewood suite and the rooms were well maintained and clean. The walls are thick, you rarely heard a peep from neighbors. The staff was very helpful and provided much information for sightseeing.

I am confident the headphones were left in the room I had just vacated, and the hotel was notified promptly, leaving little uncertainty about where the item would have been found.
While I fully acknowledge that the responsibility ultimately rests with me, timely follow-up in situations like this is an important aspect of guest service. Regrettably, this experience has affected my overall impression, and I would be unlikely to stay at this hotel again.

This time, booked through Expedia instead of corporate contract. Paid (pre-authroization) full amount for my stay (12 nights) when checked in. Days later, use laundry service for 2 shirts as I always did. Next day, I did not get shirts back but was asked for pay NT$500 cash. Asked front desk why can't they just put charge on the room as they always did. The answer is due to new \"policy change\". Even paid in full (NT$64K), I was not allowed to use any service without more advanced charge (NT$1000/day). This is insulting.

Overall we had a very good experience with the hotel. The staff was very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone, including the housekeeping staff were quick to offer their greeting every time we encountered them. The staff was by far the biggest asset of the property. The room and common areas were clean and we were satisfied with the options offered by the breakfast buffet. The only negatives for us were the beds were on the harder side and for us who like to sleep on the side, they were very uncomfortable. We also noted the decor, furniture and carpet are really dated. My wife and I observed stains in our room and the first floor buffet from all the foot traffic the hotel has accumulated over the years.

Room was spacious and clean, the hotel staff were also attentive and responded promptly whenever we have a request. We also had both the hotel's breakfast and dinner buffet - the spread for breakfast was good but we felt that the dinner buffet needs improvement as there isn't much variety to go with. Some of the live stations had pre-cooked food like lamb chops and scallops, which we found overcooked as they reheated them upon request. The live station for seafood was just poached seafood in plain water which we also find quite bland and tasteless. Other than that, the hotel has done a good job in the area of service and cleanliness, albeit the rooms could have been refurbished as they seem pretty dated and some of the wall.sockets were not working properly.
