Caminando a unas cuadras del Zócalo, de Bellas Artes y la Alameda así como de restaurantes, panaderías, museos, etc. El personal muy amable y atento. Las habitaciones cómodas, limpias y con cortinas que bloquean la luz. El desayuno en el hotel muy rico. Recomendamos ampliamente éste hotel.

When I arrived i was told that i was given an upgrade because I was a return client, but I don't know an upgrade from what, the room they gave me was smalller than the one I had the last time and I made a reservation for the same room on my previous trip. So, no upgrade was given to me. The faucet on the sink spray water all over the sink, they are useless because I have to clean the whole sink after using it. 2 times I've been here, but no more.

Nice looking hotel, excellent central location. Bring your ear plugs because the open atrium thru all 5 floors makes the lobby and restaurant sounds reverberate throughout. The are plenty of staff but they seem oddly disinterested in quickly trying to assist...gee, I am sorry to bother them.

Las habitaciones estaban impecables, muy limpias, cómodas y con todo lo necesario para una estancia perfecta. Se nota el cuidado y la atención en cada detalle.

El restaurante del hotel es excelente. La comida estuvo deliciosa y el ambiente es muy agradable para disfrutar tranquilamente. América y el staff hicieron un buen trabajo Sin duda fue uno de los puntos que más disfrutamos durante nuestra visita.

En general, todo fue fantástico. Es un hotel que realmente supera las expectativas. Lo recomiendo totalmente y sin duda volvería otra vez. ¡Cinco estrellas bien merecidas! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am writing to express my disappointment with several issues during my recent stay at your hotel in Mexico City.

I was told there were no rooms with windows on higher floors, yet I had to pay an extra fee without explanation. My first room’s bathtub drain was defective, and moving to another floor disrupted my schedule.

Noise from adjacent rooms and poor acoustics made quiet impossible. There was no internet access, affecting my work and communication. Housekeeping was poor, with damp sheets and limited shampoo provided only after a delay. The excessive light in my final room disturbed my rest.

At breakfast, I was initially undercharged and then asked to pay the difference in an unprofessional manner.
The outlet next to the bed was broken, preventing me from charging my phone, which caused me to be late one day. Although I reported this, it was never fixed.
On the second day, I was asked to move to another floor, which turned out to be a nightmare and completely disrupted my schedule and agenda.
Overall, my experience was far below the standard I expected, and these multiple inconveniences greatly diminished the quality of my stay. I kindly request a formal acknowledgment of these issues and information on how you intend to rectify this situation. I spoke to a Supervisor regarding my issues last day at the Hotel I hope all these customer services issues will get resolved for future customers.

Room was spacious but we did have an interior room with a window to the hallway which was odd but honestly I did not mind. However, the AC was quite loud. The soaps in the bathroom were in a holder that prevented them from actually functioning. Also, we had to wait until exact check-in time to get our room and it was still delayed afterwards. We were exhausted from the flight and the staff were not particularly helpful or warm. Overall I think the accommodation was fine but I wouldn't stay here again.

I booked a two night stay in the One bedroom suites here during the beginning of December and it was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful when I had any questions for them. The room was spacious and I had a view of the street outside. The walk to the Zocalo was about 8 mins. Also very convenient location for food. Definitely would highly recommend staying here.

The hotel is clean and in a prime spot for anyone wanting to explore the historic side of Mexico City. Our room had no window and no fridge! Perfect if you enjoy living in a sauna-cage with semi-hot water, the ultimate test of endurance for gargling or battling a flu without the luxury of cold drinks. Most staff were fine, but two seemed to have sworn a lifelong vendetta against guests, treating us like intruders in their personal nightmare. And the horrible Wi-Fi? Absolutely perfect !!! if your goal is to experience what life was like before the internet existed.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel, We had a great stay even though it was only for a few hours before we had to catch our next flight.
*It doesn’t matter if you are a platinum member, a gold member, a member of the royal family - you are not getting your room before 3 PM, there is no such thing as an early checkin at this hotel.

The hotel and room were great. The only downside was after a certain date, your trip is non refundable. That is a con when the flight has an overnight delay and you miss an entire night in the hotel. It's a difficult situation to fix.
I still plan to return to the hotel for another visit as the atmosphere, staff and location are great. I had no complaints about the actual hotel! Just the inconveience of losing a night

This place at best is a 2 star. Location is centralized and everything is walking distance. The room and hotel decor is clean and modern. Biggest complaint is my room had no windows I felt like I was in a basemen and other complaint it was noisy. You can hear your neighbors above you or anytime the shower wa on.

They did not replace the towels after taking the used ones. There was no reliable hot water or WiFi (internet). They charge extra to change bedsheets. We did not have towels for two days or soap for three days. The receptionist was very rude, as was the cleaning staff. The doorman was the only kind and helpful person.

Do not expect clean bathrooms or bathtubs, even if you book the bed and bath suite. After calling three times and going in person to request clean towels and bedsheets—because I had a cut and needed clean sheets—they finally replaced them around midnight. The cleaner wanted to enter the room, but I handed the sheets to her and took photos. We were told there is an extra cleaning fee for changing bedsheets and towels.

Do NOT stay at this hotel.

At the reception, staff falsely claimed my wife ordered a club sandwich. When she calmly explained she hadn’t, they threatened to call the police. They then instructed the security officer not to allow my wife and our young children to leave the hotel. This caused significant distress and made my wife cry.

Great location but serious soundproofing issues
The positives: The hotel is very well located in the historic center, perfect for exploring that area on foot. The rooms are clean, renewed and the staff maintains good cleaning standards.
The negatives: The main problem is the terrible soundproofing. You can hear absolutely everything: other guests’ conversations, footsteps… This makes it very difficult to get proper rest. If you’re a light sleeper, prepare for a rough night.
The breakfast is quite limited in variety and you will find better/cheapers alternatives in the surrounding area.

The staff stole my jewelry from my room on 12-13-25. I spoke to Antonio on 12-14-25, he refused to do anything and said his manger would call the next day. I never got a call. I called the property on 12-15-25 and spoke to Anais. She said she cannot help me and hung up on me. Worst service. This property is full of thieves and will rob you from your valuables if you stay here.

Room was ok, plenty of room to walk around and store stuff away. My 2 issues were, the faucet on the sink, is more like a sprayer that a faucet. I couldn't wash my hands, face or teeth without spraying water all over the counter and my stuff like, lotions, creams, soap. I had to use a towel to get all these items dry. I ended up doing the washing on the bathtub. The shower head, another sprinkler. I spent double the time just showering because of that. These 2 items, the faucet and the shower head need a replacement urgently. If you show that changes had been made, i will always come back if not, I'll be looking to stay somewhere else. My stays are usually long, 2 weeks or more so, if you want as a return customer, those changes would do. I can't speak about the restaurant because i didn't use it. The staff is great, with the exception that, one they didn't locked the door properly. I found it open upon my arrival, and they forgot to refresh the towels. No towels when i returned and had to call the receptionist to get them.

I stayed at Hotel Punto for five nights — three with friends and two more after extending my stay — and overall, it was a really lovely experience. The hotel is in a great location: quite central, but not on an overcrowded or noisy street. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept, and the staff are incredibly friendly and thoughtful.

One particularly nice touch was when the team left us a thank-you note and a little goodie box after the F1 race weekend — a small gesture that really made an impression.

However, on my last night, there was a small but unsettling incident. Due to what seemed to be an access key error, another group was mistakenly given a key that opened my room. This happened around midnight while I was staying alone, which was quite alarming. I contacted reception immediately, and they were quick to respond, apologized sincerely, and assured me it was an error that wouldn’t happen again.

I should also mention that the room didn’t have a separate manual lock or latch inside — only the standard electronic lock on the handle that works with the key card. This made the situation feel a bit more concerning at the time.

Aside from that isolated incident, everything else about my stay was excellent. If not for that, I’d have happily given Hotel Punto a full five stars.
