Mi esposo y yo nos hospedamos en el Hotel por 3 noches , Al momento del check out la persona del front desk me informó que había un cargo porque una toalla de mano estaba manchada y que había que pagarla . Por un momento Pensé que la persona estaba bromeando por lo ridículo de la situación, al momento me di cuenta que la persona estaba hablando en serio .
Terminé pagando 150 pesos para no discutir porque mi taxi estaba esperando para llevarnos al aeropuerto.

Location. The street closes suddenly from time time when there are civic protests and marches etc. Not the fault of the hotel. Then you walk a bit to catch a taxi etc. Of you get your room cleaned by staff during a multi-day stay, ensure that you got all towels, etc. as they check at the time of check out. We were a hand towel short. We explained that we never got it and they accepted our explanation.

Quiero empezar diciendo que mi estancia en este hotel fue excelente. Mi habitación y la de mis familiares estaban muy limpias y bien cuidadas. El personal de limpieza hizo un gran trabajo asegurándose de que nuestras habitaciones estuvieran limpias y bien atendidas. Nos hospedamos durante 4 noches y, de esas 4 noches, solo solicité que limpiaran mi habitación dos veces.
Aquí es donde las cosas empiezan a empeorar… Desocupamos nuestras habitaciones mucho antes de la hora de salida, retiramos todas nuestras pertenencias, bajamos las escaleras, pasamos por recepción y nos detuvieron para realizar el proceso de check-out. En la mayoría de los hoteles en los que me he hospedado, no es necesario notificar al personal que estás haciendo check-out; simplemente desocupas la habitación antes de la hora de salida. Según mi experiencia, tampoco es necesario devolver las tarjetas llave. El personal de recepción entonces pidió las tarjetas llave y les indiqué que las habíamos dejado en la habitación. Dije: “¿Ah, hay que devolverlas?” y el personal de recepción se rió de forma condescendiente y dijo: “Pues claro”, como si el comentario que hice fuera tonto. No había ninguna “regla” escrita ni se mencionó esto durante el check-in.

Primero que nada, el personal fue de lo mas amable durante nuestra estancia. Prepararon una sorpresa romantica junto con mi pareja y fue de lo mejor, muy bien ejecutado y con mucho detalle. La habitación estuvo muy agradable, limpia, y la cama bastante comoda. Also que tomar nota, el hotel esta ubicado en una calle bastante transitada asi que en la noche hay mucho ruido recomiendo usar tapones para dormir. El baño muy comodo con una regadera grande y moderna, las batas fueron un buen detalle. Mi único comentario seria el aire acondicionado, nunca se prendio durante nuestra estancia y los dias si estuvieron calientes. Lo platicamos con el personal y nos aseguraban que lo solucionaban pero nunca prendio y en las noches se puso incomodo con el calor y la humedad. De ahi en fuera nos encanto este hotel.

The staff were very nice and helpful and the service was great. Staff leaves a couple of courtesy water bottles after cleaning the room every day. However, they wouldn’t sell us any extra water bottles after running out of water and the stores close early so we couldn’t go buy any.

The hotel is a part of history and it is maintained very well with all the modern amenities. The location is perfect for walking to so many wonderful places including entertainment, restaurants and museums. We will come back!

Excellent location in the historic district. Building is 200+ years old, but has only been this hotel for about 5 years. We had a double room (2 queen beds) so was a bit tight, but OK for 2 people. Lovely finishes. Very reasonable prices for the hotel and in the restaurant. Lots of dining options nearby as well. Close to metro and hop-on/hop-off buses, plus attractions.

The room was great and clean. The first night there was a situation with the Shakira concert people testing their sound system the night before her concert and it was insanely loud and playing the same one Ed Sheeran song over and over and over. i called down to the front desk to find out if anything could be done and they were quite rude. My husband walked down the road and talked to the crew and it was fine after that. I thought if you don't put any notice outside your door, the maid still comes, but I guess I was wrong. :-(

We got up early for a trip and had to check our bags with the front desk. At that time, they sent someone to our old room to ensure we didn’t take anything from it. They radio each other to communicate. The front desk asked if we took a hanger or an iron. Ridiculous. When we came back later in the day, we had to check into our new room. I asked the front desk lady if that was normal and she said that it’s to ensure we don’t forget our own belongings in the room. That’s a lie. We checked out this morning entirely and yet again they used their radio to communicate and asked us if we took a mug.
I don’t appreciate customer service that surrounds itself with accusatory attitudes.
I wouldn’t stay here again simply because I have traveled a lot of places and stayed in the lot of hotels and never had staff treat me like that.

We were left outside for 10–15 minutes waiting to be let in. Completely unprofessional and unsafe.
To make matters worse, during checkout they tried to claim a small towel was missing. I explained that housekeeping had come in and likely removed it during service, as we did not take anything.
They also attempted to charge my brother 2,500 pesos, accusing him of smoking in his room which makes no sense because he does not smoke. He went upstairs to check for himself, and the room smelled like smoke, as if they were trying to set him up. It felt dishonest and very concerning.

The rooms’ high ceilings and large windows bring a sense of openness and relaxation. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Also, the can’t beat the location, which is within steps of the Bellas Artes and walking distance to the Palacio Nacional. Will come back here again!

The room was beautiful - 20 foot exposed brick ceilings, grand walk in shower, French doors between the bedroom and dressing area. It was much grander than i expected. When we first walked in, we were worried about the noise, we were street facing, but the glass is VERY well sound proofed! Super impressed with that. The front desk staff were very helpful and pleasant, the restaurant was quite nice as well. Two pieces of constructive criticism which in no way affect my 5 star rating - the lack of face cloths, and a lack of hooks or bars to hang hand towels on near the sink. But overall, for the price, i think we got way more than we paid for orc were expecting! I was traveling with a friend, but will be bringing my husband back so he can enjoy as well. Oh, and the location was PERFECT, walking distance to the Palace de Bellas Artes and the Zocalo and shopping, as well as plenty of restaurants and all that the historical district has to offer! Don't hesitate - if this one pops up, book it!!

I really wanted to like this hotel, but I cannot recommend it due to the rude and condescending treatment at reception. After staying for 5 days, our entire trip was soured at the very end.
