The room was clean the staff were friendly and having a giant fan above the bed was terrific. The bed was quite firm, maybe too much so and the pillows were a bit hopeless but the location was great. Having a restaurant in house was helpful for early days. All in all a good stay.

Rude front desk & location deceiving

Location was not where indicated. It was further away from Zocalo. Informed receptionist about this in case others went through the same trouble finding the hotel and he was very rude. Also, he didn't want to take my DL because he said it's not a vadid ID in Mexico. He was asking for my passport.

Comfortable and reasonable priced

A bit outdated hotel but quite cheap after my stay in Puerto Vallarta. Close to everything, subway, bus, restaurants, iconic buildings of the city. There was a group of homeless people camping just next to the hotel and it felt a bit uneasy but I had no issues. The Uber can't stop in front, you need to walk to the corner but it wasn't an issue even at 3am - well lit and populated area.
I would stay again for the convenience and price.

It was a very basic hotel in a convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The historic center, the Palacio de Bellas Artes, and the Alameda Central Park are within walking distance, which we enjoyed.

Our room had mold on one of the corners from floor to ceiling. The elevator only fit 2 people at a time with a bag each, otherwise use the stairs. We had to pay for our parking, hourly rate! Lots of homeless people around. I did like their restaurant's food though. We only needed one night and the location was perfect for tourism, expectations of building were not met.

The property condition is good for the price. Staff is very friendly, professional, and courteous. It didn't have an AC but with cool nights all I had to do was open the window. The plaza next door has a few homeless which was worrisome at first but they turned out to be nice. Hotel is centralized so I would stay here again.

Seems to be the home for the homeless in front of and around this hotel. Doesn't lend to the average visitor feeling all that secure if one were to arrive after dark at the hotel
Other than that it was fine ..rooms are tiny but adequate for our needs and staff were very accommodating . Housekeeping does a good job. We live in Mexico so we were not worried about our safety but more worried about the situation of the homeless some clearly unwell folk sleeping on cardboard and cold cement. So many of them.

El servicio y la atención por parte de el personal es excelente. El edificio en general así como las habitaciones y el ropaje de cama y baño están en perfectas condiciones. Lo único malo fue un cliente dejó a sus hijos jugando hasta las once pm y el ruido en área de los cuartos se escucha fuerte, hubo que poner queja para que parara. También el área alrededor del hotel algo invadido de indigentes pero eso no es culpa del hotel. En general es un excelente lugar por el precio.

It is a very decent small place that has exactly what you need if you will be out most of the time and just get to the hotel to shower, sleep, or any necessary things. I really liked how you have so much around it and everything is to a walking distance as well. There is a fármaco right across the street in front of the hotel and the bus also picks up right outside. I would order my Ubers from that location and get dropped off with out a problem.

This property was not nice. The rooms are super small and the area where it is located is very rundown and lots of homeless around it. The one good thing was that the doors are locked after dark. Most of staff is friendly but one of the desk workers is very rude. We arrived there to check my daughter into the hotel and he would even let us walk her to her room. I would not stay here unless ypu are desperate.

Adequate inexpensive hotel in Centro

The hotel was fine for a one-night layover in CDMX. Very close to Plaza Giribaldi to check out the mariachi at night, and lots of good street food right outside and a great bakery right next door. The neighborhood isn't the greatest - the adjacent Plaza de la Concepcion is sketchy, has a number of homeless sleeping in it, etc. The restaurant in the hotel is good, and there are better restaurants close by.

The rooms are basic and adequate, a bit dated, and cleverly done with two double beds, each with a pullout bed underneath. One of our two bathrooms had a toilet leaking water into the floor.

Great hotel, I stay here about once a month. Smallish but nice rooms with large ceiling fans and two small bottles of water.
Good restaurant with decent food at reasonable prices.
The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Olly always remembers me.
This time there was no hot water upon departure which is very unusual. Also the wifi is good and reliable here…
The area os walkable in daytime hours but don't walk alone at night. Never take your wallet while out walking,

I always enjoy this hotel. It’s a simple place full of Mexican people rather than tourists. There is a 24 hour bakery next door that sells drinking water. The metro bus to the airport stops out front and the trolley bus to 3 cultures, mariachi square and the norte bus station goes up Lazaro Cardenas-just on the other side of the bakery. Norte has local buses to the pyramids.

The hotel doesn’t have heat/air conditioning like most buildings in Mexico. Rooms do have large, modern ceiling fans. Flooring has recently been replaced. Most of the year there is moderate weather. Windows open.

It is a couple blocks walk from Bellas Artes in a less opulent neighborhood. The area has been upgraded a good deal. The plaza next door has always had some homeless population coming and going. It’s clean and well maintained. We have never felt endangered in any way.

This hotel is a Mexican experience with unbeatable access to public transportation.

Room was too small. This was the family room and still very tight of a space! It had a musky smell as well. My bracelet fell off and went in between the cracks in the elevator, asked staff what they can do to get it back. Basically nothing she would have to contact maintenance and she didn't even try. I had to to leave to catch my plane otherwise I would of stayed and argued. Would not go back. Oh yeah when checking in with kids they asked for ID, or whatever identification you have for your little ones.(IDK) why they would need this when asked oh it's in the fine print..

We felt safe and the room was cleaned everyday. The hotel is very close to Bella’s Artes, lots of museums and the Zocalo. The metro was very accesible as well. The (man)counter staff was not friendly but everybody else were. Having Plaza Garibaldi that close was an experience every night.

I had a reservation for 7 days couldn't stay more than one dat one night was a nightmare couldn't sleep you hear everything every movement like sleeping in the street, the room was very small the bathroom was so tiny you bearly fit in. I had to leave the hotel and stayed in another hotel i did pay for a week though never got a refund for the rest of the days .

Hotel was really nice and clean and sanitized well. Area was very convenient, close to restaurants, shopping and even a 24 hour panadaria! Restaurant is open, though I never went. Too many food options close by! Only reason I didn't give it more stars is because it was a bit noisy, but the front desk handled it. I would stay here again!
